Scam Business Won't Reimburse a $9 Overcharge - No Customer Service. Bring Me That overcharged me by $9.60. I have a printed copy of my order and the total and the charge on my credit card was $9.60 higher. Bring Me That took more than 24 hours to reply to my first email challenging the charge and 48 hours to reply to my follow-on emails. They indicated that they can't reimburse me. This company is worse than a waste of money. It's a scam operation with little to no customer service communication and little to no recourse when an overcharge occurs. And because a company this shady has my credit card number, my next step is to cancel my card. Do NOT patronize this business.

This company is a scam and a waste of time. I tried ordering from a local restaurant but the phone number shown was not working. But there sat BringMeThat “Order Online” button and so I did. They charged my card $4.50 and sent a confirmation email that my food would be ready for pick up 20 minutes later. I arrived at the restaurant 22 minutes later; no food, no order resembling mine, nothing with my name on it. They’d never heard of BringMeThat, they don’t accept online orders, they didn’t even have a computer, and best of all - their phones hadn’t been working since earlier that morning. I place my order in person and waited 20 minutes for it. While waiting I used the Chat to contact customer service because finding a phone number for this “company” is like trying to find a mythical creature. I explained the issue and asked for the service fee to be refunded, no response for three minutes, asked a second time and the chat was ended. I got home and ate then AGAIN used the chat to contact customer service, this time it took 24 minutes for someone to enter the chat and another 4 minutes for them to “look into it” during which time I got an auto message thanking me for contacting them, I replied with “hello?” at which the customer service rep immediately responded they would refund the service fee. No explanation, no apology, absolutely nothing that makes even mediocre customer service. So now I’m stuck waiting to be sure they refund the money before I cancel my card because I trust this “company” with my credit card information about as much as I would trust my five year old with it.

Bring me that is a scam. I called the restaurant I ordered from who had no order of my food, after no response from bring me that via “live chat” waiting for 10 min I called
Restaurant back to place another order direct and they said “you just called and placed this same order but you sounded different and were very mean” and it was a different credit card used. Apparently this company falsely advertises to be affiliated with the restaurant and and literally charges you for “impersonating you on your own call” the restaurant driver not this company is actually delivering the food afterall . This is entirely fraud

We received a request for removal for this restaurant via email late last night, and complied at the open of our business day today. Our service provides convenience to customers that prefer to order online and we charge a fee for the service. When restaurants request removal, we always comply....

On occasion customers will request that a restaurant be added to the site so that they can order from it. A restaurant owner need only fill out our removal form on the site to have their restaurant taken off within 24 hours.

I have tried to contact these people to cancel my membership as they are withdrawing $6 a month out of my account I tried to login they say my account is not valid I tried to call the customer service phone number and there is no customer service you have to leave an email can't leave an email if I can't login so they make it impossible to stop payment now I have to cancel my card and get a new card not the way to do business

This company is a scam! They represent themselves to be a food delivery service. They are not. I ordered from them online last night, from a local pizza shop. They charged me $4.50 just to call the restaurant and place the order. They did not deliver it, the delivery driver for the restaurant did. So I was not only charged for my food and tip to the driver, yet also the additional fee of $4.50. To do something I could have done myself! I spoke with the restaurant manager this morning and informed him of this situation. He expressed that they are in no way affiliated with this company, and that he will also be filing a complaint.

We apologize for any confusion. at BringMeThat we personally phone in any orders and pay with our own credit card for security reasons so that no one, including members of our own team, ever see your credit card number.  The prices listed on our website are just estimated...

prices as sometimes the restaurant will change their price but you will ultimately only be charged whatever the restaurant charges plus our service fee.  Therefore, your card will only be charged the $19 you mentioned plus our service fee and any tip you left.  You can see how this works at [redacted].Thanks,

I do not accept BringmeThat, Inc's response as it is fraudulent and incorrect.  The message indicates that they were unable to provide me with the agreed upon service due to the restaurant no longer offering delivery.  That is invalid and incorrect because I personally spoke to the managers of that Greek reataurant and they advised that BringmeThat, Inc is illegally using their business name.  They stated that they did not stop doing delivery and have never received a phone call or any form of contact from BringmeThat, Inc.  Regardless, I would have never known that they were never processing my request had I not personally contacted the Greek restaurant myself.  I do not trust BringMeThat, Inc and feel that they are doing business in Bad Faith.

At this time, I have been contacted...

directly by Bring Me That Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
 They continue to deny that the promised not to charge me. The person that contacted me stated that they mentioned they wouldn't charge me that day but they only mention the initial $12 charge, which was a preauth anyway so that claim doesn't make sense. I stated to them I never authorized a $5 tip and was told the $5 would be refunded at least. It wasn't. To be honest I have pretty much given up dealing with them because they are going to continue to lie and give me the runaround.

Thanks for reaching out to us about the issue. The customer in question was immediately refunded 7 minutes after the customer placed the order at 8:50. It was clear that the restaurant would not deliver to his address so we immediately issued the refund. Once the refund is issued on our side we have no control over long the customer's bank will take to release the pending charge, which we place to ensure that the customer has enough funds to cover the transaction.  The customer repeatedly contacted us with the same question and each time we offered the same response. Please see the logs from our credit card processor as well as a copy of the email we sent the customer. The time in the logs is a different time zone - UTC I believe.

I would say the biggest problem with the service is that they do not have any relationships with the actual restaurants they claim to offer service for. On one hand, I see the appeal, they are able to offer services for a much broader array of establishments this way. However, they rely on online menus, which in my densely populated area often are in no way official menus, but that doesn't stop BMT from using it. This means the prices my be wildly different and in some cases may not even represent items actual served!!
As an example, tonight my faily wanted to order Chinese. We just moved to town a few months ago, and we haven't ordered Chinese delivery since we lived here, preferring to pick up from a restaurant close by that does not deliver to our new home. But tonight I decided to try the place just a few blocks away, and was delighted to find they offered online ordering. Except that they dont, it was done through BMT. I paid no matter and ordered anyway, not being familiar with the service. I get my confirmation e-mail, and the total was much much lower than I would typically pay for a family of four. Concerned that somehow my order was incorrect, I entered the online chat and was assured that the price was correct. When my food arrives, it is missing the items I ordered for my children to share. I look on the paper menu the restaurant brought me, and they don't eve offer that item!!! So rather than call me to let me know that something I ordered was unavailable, they simply omitted it and charged me for the pleasure. I will never order through them again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM BRING ME THAT! IT IS A SCAM. I TRIED TO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEY DID NOT BRING ME ANY FOOD. THEY SAID THAT THE RESTAURANT I ORDERED FROM WAS NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE. I ASKED IF I COULD ORDER SOMETHING ELSE FROM ANOTHER RESTAURANT AND THE PERSON FROM BRING ME THAT! SAID THAT THEY DID NOT CARRY ANY OF THE DISHES THAT I ASKED FOR. THESE WERE ALL BASIC DISHES THAT MOST RESTAURANTS CARRY LIKE STEAK AND CHICKEN. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ALSO KEEP SENDING ME EMAILS THAT I TRY TO BLOCK BUT THEY KEEP COMING. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
