Review: Well I downloaded the Bring Me That app on my Iphone 6 today and when I tried to irder food from this service the app said on screen that my delivery time will be emailed to me and to wait. But after 20 minutes nothing came. Then around 30 minutes later I receive a phone call from a Massaschusetts phone number. First they asked me my name, then they asked me to confirm my address information. Then they continued to tell me that the delivery area was "out of range". And this happens two more times with the exception of the last time they called they tried to "search" for restaurants within my area. After that, she took my order for Dominos Pizza, and told me that she would email me the information on my delivery estimated wait time. Twenty minutes later, no email came. I was shocked at how incomsiderate these people are when I am personally spending my own money trying to buy food but never seeing it through. So I emailed them and about ten minutes later they asked me to verify my own email address even though it was the same email address on file so they had to have it in their system. This sounds crazy because it is. And after about twio emails the same woman of whom I was talking to on the phone was the person conversing with me through email and she told me that Domino's pizza was not in my delivery area. Thats impossible, I say to myself. I order from Domino's Pizza all the time and this never happened ever. And to top it off this woman had the nerve to ask me my address after I disclosed this information over the phone just a few minutes before. Not only am I concerned with my privacy, I am also concerned with the way in which Bring Me THat dealt with this situation. I feel violated and sick to my stomach because these people cannot give me the food that I wanted delivered one hour and forty-five minutes ago three times in a row and they have my credit card information that they thankfully at my bank are in a process of refunding my money. I dont know but if anything I will never ever ever give information like that to third parties again.Desired Settlement: I would like the business to accept what they did wrong and own up to it. Finally I would like the business to close down because they are misleading consumers.

You guys have awful customer service its bee 30+ minutes since I asked to receive a call from you guys, there are 100 restaurant that "supposedly" deliver to my address and half of them won't actually deliver, yet you still have them listed as within delivery zone. Please call me at ###-###-####.

Review: On August [redacted] I went to place an order online with [redacted] in Dalton, Massachusetts. When I did a [redacted] search, this company, BringMeThat.com came up as the place where I could order [redacted] from. I place my order and paid with a visa $25.43. The wings were delivered and I signed for them without even thinking twice, not realizing that the totals were not the same. [redacted]'s receipt was for $23.58 and I left a tip of $4.42 bringing the total to $28 even. A few days later, I noticed on my bank statement that there were two charges from [redacted]. One was for $24.20 and the other for $29.85 with the bringmethat.com next to it. I immediately called the Pizzeria and they told me that they don't have an online service and that they had never heard of this before. I asked them how they got my order and they said that someone had called them. I immediately looked up a number for bringmethat.com and when I called, I got a machine telling me that if I had any billing issues to email them at support.bringmethat.com. WHAT? Why would their message say that unless it is the only problem they have because they are not legitimate. I sent an email asking them about the discrepencies in billing and they emailed me back saying that when you add a tip on delivery, they charge both amounts and that the incorrect one falls off in 1-5 business days. This doesn't make any sense at all and they are crooks! I just emailed them back because it has been 9 business days with no refund. Even if what they said was true, it still does not explain the difference in charges from the original to some made up one to the last one.Desired Settlement: I have reported these crooks to the New York State Attorney Generals office because no matter what, these are suspicious business practices and someone needs to investigate. You cannot just arbitrarily charge someones account twice without fully disclosing that this is how you do business and furthermore hold it for over a week.

Response:

[redacted] did in fact forward her complaint to the Attorney General's office and we responded with the following, to which we haven't received any reply. We explained that she was not incorrectly charged, but we also refunded her as a courtesy. We did receive complaints from this customer that we thought that we had addressed. We will issue a courtesy refund for the purposes of satisfying the customer and below I will explain the customer's confusion. For restaurants that we are not partnered with, we call in on the customer's behalf. We provide our card information, so the restaurant charges us (the receipt the customer signed was ours) and then we in turn charge the customer. A pending charge is placed on the customer's card and then is finalized when the restaurant finalizes the amount on our card. We then add the tip amount the customer left to the total we are charging the customer. The prices of the items on our site are sometimes higher than the prices that the restaurant charges, which constitutes a fee. This is the explanation that we provided via customer support email which you w "The initial charge was 25.43 and you left a tip of 4.42 which we added to your bill for a total of 29.85. We refunded the pending (unfinalized)charge of 23.58 to make the 29.85 charge. The $1.85 difference between the restaurant's initial charge (23.48) is the small fee for using the service. I'm not sure what the 24.20 charge was, unless you are saying that the restaurant charged you again. There should only be one charge on your card from BringMeThat for 29.85. If this is not the case please send me a screenshot of your statement with your personal information redacted." When we saw the 24.20 charge restaurant charge by the restaurant we could not account for it since we do not have her credit information, nor would we give it to the restaurant. It could be that she had ordered directly to them in the same neighborhood of time. The initial email that we sent showed that our customer support agents had assumed that she was talking about the initial charge we had refunded, not a charge placed by another party. That is why we assured the customer that she would be refunded in 1-5 business days, because we thought she was talking about the initial charge. The attached documentation shows the initial charge was refunded. We would not be able to explain the restaurant charge. We only know that they correctly charged us which is why BringMeThat knows that she left a tip of 4.42. The total charged the restaurant to BringMeThat's card by the restaurant was $28. We passed on the $4.42 tip to be paid by the customer bringing the final charge to 29.85 from 25.43. We have refunded her as a courtesy and due to the bank's processes it take 1-5 business days to be reflected in her statement. I hope that this satisfies your questions. Let me know if you need anything in addition. Best, BringMeThat Customer Support [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This company has repeatedly purported that I signed two different receipts or ordered two different orders from [redacted]. I never did any such thing. I had never ordered from that company over the phone before 8/**/2014 and never again after that. I ordered online using BringMeThat.com and paid $25.43 with my visa. When [redacted] delivered our food, they handed me a receipt to sign, which I did. Later I realized that the amounts were different. The final charge of $29.85 makes total sense when you add in the tip of 4.42 and the BMT fee of 1.85. This has not been in dispute. What has been in dispute is the fact that I was actually charged for two separate amounts. One from Bring Me That for $29.85 and separately from [redacted] for $24.40.I cannot account for why I was charged by both entities, but for BMT to continue to presume that for some reason I ordered the same thing from the same place, twice in one phone call is absurd. They told me on September [redacted] that I would be refunded automatically in 1-5 business days. I wrote back to them on September [redacted] to let them know that I still had not been reimbursed. I wrote back to them on Sept.[redacted] and told them that I still had not been reimbursed and that I was lodging a complaint with the NY State Attorney General and the Revdex.com.They got back to me on the [redacted] and apologized and said that they would refund the pending charge of $23.58 and that I should only see one charge of $29.85 and that I should send a screen shot of my bank statement. I sent a screen shot and copies of the original receipts. STILL NO REFUND!On 9/**/14 I lodged a formal complaint with the Revdex.com and the NY State Attorney Generals Office just as I had told them that I would. On December *, 2014 I received a copy of an interaction between BMT and the Internet Fraud department. BMT was STILL claiming that they had resolved the issue and issued me a refund. They did not!I finally received a credit to my account for the amount of $29.85 on December [redacted], 2014. They called it a "courtesy refund". I take issue with the fact that they consider giving me back money that they owed me a courtesy. I am so tired of this situation. I sent clear evidence that I had paid twice for the same order and I am annoyed beyond belief that they may be operating like this with other folks who do not have the time or tenacity to chase them down.August [redacted] to December [redacted] is not 1-5 business days, just in case Bring Me That. com was wondering. Charges never "fell" off of my account. I had to dog them for nearly 4 months. This is absurd and I hope that people will take note of this situation and watch their accounts closely.

The company has issued a full refund and I consider the matter to be resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I found this company via a google search. On Sunday night, 01/**/2016, I ordered a pizza from [redacted] pizza in Atlanta, Georgia, through [redacted]. Bringmethat.com charged me for the food, and then they were supposed to arrange a delivery driver to pick up my food from [redacted], and deliver it to me at my address. However I never received my food that night. I've tried repeatedly to speak with someone at Bringmethat.com, but they can only be contacted via live chat on their website, and they will not give me an answer when I ask about my refund. I cannot get through to anyone at this company to get my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my money, $32.15, immediately, and I would like to warn others about this company.

Response:

Hi [redacted],We apologize for the inconvenience. After looking at our records it looks like your order for delivery was forwarded to the delivery service [redacted] says that they went to your house and tried to contact you over the phone but were unable to get a hold of you, which is why the food was not delivered. Unfortunately [redacted] did not refund us for the purchase because their delivery person has already paid the restaurant for the food, which is why you were automatically charged on our end. However, we understand that you didn't receive the your meal so we're happy to refund you the $32.15 on our end. We've processed this refund on February [redacted] and it should be reflected on your credit card statement within the next 1-7 business days. Please let us know if you have any questions or inquiries.Regards,BringMeThat Customer Support

Response:

Hi [redacted], We are not partnered with this restaurant so we called in the order as we do for restaurants we are not partnered with. The restaurant made a mistake and charged you a second time after we charged you. I will expedite the removal of the pending charge we placed on your card once you place an order. Please note that this pending charge would have disappeared in 7-15 business days, because we would never finalize a pending charge for an uncompleted order. Because you made us aware more immediately we can ensure that this charge disappears from your card in 1-5 business days depending on your financial institution.

Best,

Sincerely,

Review: I placed an order through Bring Me That on 9/**/15 at about 10:45 a.m.. When I placed my order I used a $10 off promo code that I had received through email. My total was $22 and some change, and after the code should have been $12.49 before tip. About 5 min after getting the email confirmation from them I received a call from the restaurant saying that there was something wrong with the credit card number and asking for it again. They started reading off a number that was NOTHING like mine. So I told them I ordered through BMT - I paid BMT, BMT pays them. after 3 calls from them, I was very frustrated but they said they would bring my food. I contacted BMT customer service during this to find out what was going on. After being on chat hold for 15 min I was told that they had it figured out - "Ruby" from their office had contacted the restaurant and paid for it and for the hassle I would not be charged. I thanked them and waited for my food. at 12:10 the food finally arrived. On 9/**/15 a charge processed on my account for $23.00 I contacted BMT customer service again to find out what was going on. He told me that they refunded me the $12.49 they had originally had a hold on. That $23 was my remaining portion. He said the food was $30 + $5 tip - $10 promo. So, since they refunded $12, I still owed $23 and that is what was charged. Only problem is that BEFORE the promo my food was only $23, so the $12 is all I should have been charged, and I never authorized a $5 tip - after the horrible service I received from the restaurant I would not have tipped that much. Bottom line, customer service is horrible, lies about refunds, makes up their own charges and does not address customer concerns in any way.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $23 that I was charged.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Bring Me That Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They continue to deny that the promised not to charge me. The person that contacted me stated that they mentioned they wouldn't charge me that day but they only mention the initial $12 charge, which was a preauth anyway so that claim doesn't make sense. I stated to them I never authorized a $5 tip and was told the $5 would be refunded at least. It wasn't. To be honest I have pretty much given up dealing with them because they are going to continue to lie and give me the runaround.

Review: I order a Medium pizza and a 20oz soda on 2/*/16. I was charged 28.44. I ordered from Pizza Hut I thought but it was this Bring me that service. I received a call from someone a Foreigner that Verified my order. I then received an email giving the estimated time. Later someone showed up with the pizza and drink. I notice on the receipt the charge was19.13 and the last four of the credit card wasn't mine. I called the store number on receipt and they don't use a delivery service. So then I chatted with a rep online and they stated that they use their credit card to order. I now have an Overdraft fee which brings my account negative. I want my money back.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded for the food and my overdraft fees so 44.00

Response:

Hi,We apologize for any confusion. at BringMeThat we personally phone in any orders and pay with our own credit card for security reasons so that no one, including members of our own team, ever see your credit card number. The prices listed on our website are just estimated prices as sometimes the restaurant will change their price but you will ultimately only be charged whatever the restaurant charges plus our service fee. Therefore, your card will only be charged the $19 you mentioned plus our service fee and any tip you left. You can see how this works at [redacted].Thanks,BringMeThat Customer Support
