Revdex.com:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Bring Me That Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted].
The problem has been resolved however as I was forced to dispute the charges with my bank, who then issued a...

refund. This is a very unprofessional company which surprises me as they showed up on my bank statement as [redacted], so this must be a side project of the same company.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
The company has issued a full refund and I consider the matter to be resolved.

I am on a business trip, totally exhausted from meetings here in [redacted]. I decided to use the give me that app.....HORRIBLE IDEA!! At about 8:00 I placed an order, after 20 minutes, I had not received confirmation of my order, I was just getting ready to call the restaurant when I got a call from Massachusetts ###-###-#### at 8:20, telling me that my order needed a replacement. The lady said it would be 45 minutes to an hour. I questioned loudly, AN HOUR, she recanted and said well it won't take that long since it's late. That was at 8:19....it is now 9:17......no food yet.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I was charged $26.63 to my Credit Card. I have attached a transaction. I would like all monies credited to my account.

I only ordered through this company because they somehow showed up on the website and I thought I was ordering directly through the restaurant.
The restaurant only does pickup, so all they did was call on my behalf. I showed up to pick up my order and the side I ordered was wrong. I showed them my receipt on my phone - and they were confused because they don't have an online service. They said a man called in the order, and then they ordered the wontons the store owner recommended they do the meat dumplings, as the wontons aren't great, according to the owner, the person on the phone (BMT) said, "yeah, go for it!". THEY CHANGED THE ORDER ON MY BEHALF?? Not only did they not even get the order right, they charged me $4.50 for the privilege of messing up the most simple service.
This company is a joke and a scam. There online chat support isn't optimized for mobile, and I couldn't even type out responses to the rep I was able to contact.

Order 2 pasta online and waited the 45 minutes for delivery. After the delivery driver left, I discovered they gave me pasta. I asked for a replacement and was denied because I ate some of the pizza. Still have 1 3/4 I did not want, did not order and do not like. Refund was refused

This company took the money I paid for an order, and then called in my order incorrectly and ordered something cheaper so they could profit off of me. I have tried resolving this via email, but "Sofia" is responding with generic auto responses, AND false information, saying what I ordered through them is what I received, when it is not at all. I ordered a bento box, and they called in an entrée (which is cheaper) but still I was charged fully for the bento box. I called the restaurant and they are upset they are listed on this website. I keep responding via email to get a refund, but now I'm reporting them to the Revdex.com. I want a refund, and for my information to be removed from their site.

Review: When I ordered my food on line, I ordered vegetarian general tso chicken. When it arrived to my house, I received chicken not veg. My order clearly stated that. I called the restaurant and they said that this service calls in the orders and didn't say anything about it not being real chicken. I then chatted on-line with a representative. I gave them the order number, the email confirmation, and explained the situation. The person was not helpful at all. They didn't even apologize. I said they should refund my meal and that they ruined my husband's as well. I will never use their service again.

Review: bringmethat.com allows customers to order food for delivery from local restaurants. They do not vet nor let the establishments know that they are taking orders. A customer orders, enters credit card information, then a representative from bringmethat.com calls in the order. The problem is that the restaurants are not vetted first. The company is charging credit cards, then realizing that they cannot place orders in this manner. The customer is left with a charge on the credit card from bringmethat.com and has to wait for a refund for services that were not provided. This is exactly what happened to me on 1/**/16 I am now worried about the safety of my payment information that was collected.Desired Settlement: I want the Revdex.com to look into this type of business to see if it is even legal to operate in this manner. They are charging fees to place delivery orders via telephone. What is being done with the credit information that is collected? I also want the restaurants listed on the site to be notified that their establishment is being exploited.

DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THESE PEOPLE. Really, there is no use for it. They only cause problems, so much easier to order directly from the restaurant. Only good thing is the excessive coupons, but then again WHY WOULD THEY NEED EXCESSIVE COUPONS.

Review: I attempted to utilize this service for the second time. The first time, we were delivered to no problem. The second time, I entered in my exact address and placed my order. I was informed some time later that they would not deliver to my area even though A) they have previously and B) I put in my exact address on the website and it came up as a restaurant that delivered. I was informed that I would be getting a refund since they had already charged my card. A refund has never been received and it has been 5 business days. Furthermore, requests to customer service have stopped being answered. I want my refund processed and it known that this business has extremely shady practices and cannot be trusted.Desired Settlement: I want the money refunded to my account and this issue known to others so they steer clear of this terrible service.

Response:

Hi [redacted],

Thanks for reaching out to us about the issue. The customer in question was immediately refunded 7 minutes after the customer placed the order at 8:50. It was clear that the restaurant would not deliver to his address so we immediately issued the refund. Once the refund is issued on our side we have no control over long the customer's bank will take to release the pending charge, which we place to ensure that the customer has enough funds to cover the transaction. The customer repeatedly contacted us with the same question and each time we offered the same response. Please see the logs from our credit card processor as well as a copy of the email we sent the customer. The time in the logs is a different time zone - UTC I believe.

Thanks a lot for your time

DO NOT ORDER FROM BRING ME THAT! IT IS A SCAM. I TRIED TO ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEY DID NOT BRING ME ANY FOOD. THEY SAID THAT THE RESTAURANT I ORDERED FROM WAS NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE. I ASKED IF I COULD ORDER SOMETHING ELSE FROM ANOTHER RESTAURANT AND THE PERSON FROM BRING ME THAT! SAID THAT THEY DID NOT CARRY ANY OF THE DISHES THAT I ASKED FOR. THESE WERE ALL BASIC DISHES THAT MOST RESTAURANTS CARRY LIKE STEAK AND CHICKEN. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ALSO KEEP SENDING ME EMAILS THAT I TRY TO BLOCK BUT THEY KEEP COMING. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

Review: I am the [redacted] for I Fratelli Pizza in Dallas, TX and Bring Me That has our restaurant listed through their website for online ordering. We do not offer online ordering, and they do not have permission to have us on there. They also charge more for our product on their website then we do. So, the are profiting off of our name without permission.Desired Settlement: Take our restaurant off of their website.

Business

Response:

[redacted] This issue was resolved. We spoke to a representative and removed the I Fratelli restaurant from our website as a courtesy, after explaining that we use publicly available information. If the restaurant has any further questions we would be happy to answer them.

Review: I ordered from [redacted] in Cincinnati OH, which is ~3 miles from my work location, which is where they delivered. I understood that I would be charged additional money, depending on how much I tipped the deliverer. On 12/**/14 I placed teh $13.47 order, and I was charged appropriately, expecting another $3.00 tip fee to be charged to my account as well. Then again on 1/*/15, I was charged $16.48. I tried "chatting" online with a BringMeThat.com representative, who assured me it would be handled. The problem I have is that because they double charged me, my account dropped into the negative, creating an additional $36.00 fee on my account. Had they only charged me the $3 like they were supposed to, I would not be penalized with an overdraft fee. I printed the conversation I had with the BringMeThat.com representative and can submit that if needed. I want to be refunded $13.48 + $36.00 for the overdraft fee that was NOT my fault, bringing a total reimbursement to $49.48. There is NO reason my card should have been charged $29.95 at ALL. That is definitely a mistake, and I expect to be compensated for the mistake as well as the overdraft fee I was charged because of their double charge.Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded $13.48 + $36.00 for the overdraft fee that was NOT my fault, bringing a total reimbursement to $49.48.

Business

Response:

Hi [redacted],Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. As you know, the initial hold of $13.47 was refunded and replaced with a charge for $16.48, which included your $3.00 tip. The original was a pending charge, that disappeared from your statement once we released it. You should not have been charged an overdraft fee and you should request that your bank look into that and refund you the fee since it was their error. We’re really sorry that this happened to you. Can we offer you a refund of $13.47 for the food?Best,BringMeThat Customer Support

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved, AS LONG AS THEY REIMBURSE ME FOR $13.47 AS PROMISED IN THE PREVIOUS MESSAGE.

Sincerely,

I also placed an order with this web site. Gave my credit card information and never got a confirming email. Food was delivered but the rest. was asking again for payment. The amount was different than the online order. The delivery person called the rest. manager and said they never authorized this company to take orders AND they purchased this company 6 yrs ago and have changed their name. Paid in cash- for food and shut down credit card and filled complaint with them- I am refusing to pay for that charge. They are operating a fraudulet business. I will be rpoting them to the Attorney Generals office in my state!!

This company claims to show you restaurants that will deliver food to your home, and claims you can place orders from those restaurants through their Bringmethat.com website. Not true! I placed a delivery order through bringmethat.com from [redacted]'s Pizza. Bring Me That had me enter my credit card info, then it said my order was confirmed and gave me an order number. Bringmethat.com said I would receive an email when [redacted]'s received my order, but my food never showed up and I checked my email and that email Bringmethat.com said I would get never came, so I called the [redacted]'s store. [redacted]'s said they have never heard of Bringmethat.com, they never authorized Bringmethat.com to accept orders for them or use their name, and they told me my address isn't even in their delivery area. [redacted]'s suggested that I call my bank, report this fake fraud company, and have my account numbers changed because [redacted]s said Bringmethat.com must be a scam.

Review: This company is a third party restaurant delivery service. Since we do not accept third party orders, we have requested that this company remove us from their website. We have had numerous customers end business with us due to the actions of [redacted]. We have requested to have someone call us and have sent numerous emails with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like my company to be removed from their website immediately.

Business

Response:

Hi [redacted], We're really sorry that we weren't able to a hold of you when you claimed your restaurant on our site. We've since change our policy to improve the process for this. We removed your page from the site several weeks ago. Thanks for reaching out.

Review: Our restaurant does not accept third party delivery orders. We have our own online ordering and this company lists our restaurant on their website and charges a $3.50 to customers and then they phone in delivery orders themselves to the consumer. They misrepresent themselves as the consumer and the consumer thinks that we are charging them service fees. We then have to deal with customer issues as to why the amounts don't match. Not only is this customer NOT adding any value but adding more hassle for us in having to deal with these issues with the customer. BringMeThat's listing of our company implies that we are affiliated with their company which we are NOT.Desired Settlement: I want our restaurant to be removed from BringMeThat's directory. We filled out the form on their website to be removed and it was... and then it was re-listed with a $3.50 service charge.

Business

Response:

We received a request for removal for this restaurant via email late last night, and complied at the open of our business day today. Our service provides convenience to customers that prefer to order online and we charge a fee for the service. When restaurants request removal, we always comply. On occasion customers will request that a restaurant be added to the site so that they can order from it. A restaurant owner need only fill out our removal form on the site to have their restaurant taken off within 24 hours.
