It is September 18th and I have still not received the refund.

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted]. Please advise our customer that we apologize for any lack of communication and will address internally. We will refund the $60 fee by the same method he paid. Thank you.

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted]  We strive to do our best to meet and hopefully exceed our customers’ expectations in all aspects of service. It is encouraged to inquire about any aspect of our service including pricing if it’s thought to be out of line.  However, our prices are...

competitive in the market and generated using flat rate pricing which not only includes parts, but also labor & warranty.   Our prices are not excessive.  Quite frankly there is a cost to doing business & the price of the part is just a small piece of the puzzle. But, in an attempt for resolution and a sincere interest in satisfying our customer, we would be interested in making an adjustment to the price that he paid.   We would like to offer him a refund in the amount of $100.00.  Hopefully Mr. [redacted] will consider this a fair resolution.  Please let us know.  We will await your reply.  Thank you.

I spoke with the person that will be coming to my house to audit the work performed by the 3 separate technicians.  I explained to him that all appears to be working correctly currently, but I would feel more comfortable for someone to do a thorough inspection to ensure everything was done correctly since each technician discovered something that the previous did not.  I want to be confident that in the future there will be no other issues.  I still have a few more questions for him and things to look at.  If everthing goes well then I will resolve my complaint.

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted].  Please extend our apology to Mrs. [redacted] for any shortcomings or inadequacies she felt was experienced with our service in the field or during her conversation with our customer service representative.  Please note that normally when a...

disconnect is left out there is a reason.  Their unit is low on refrigerant & to prevent potential further damage it’s not uncommon to do so.  Refrigerant was not added to the system while there. We thought they were considering replacement.   We do apologize for her husband’s experience.  Also, the $60 refund for the diagnostic fee that she has requested was put in process after the phone conversation when she called yesterday evening.  She should receive the reimbursement check in approximately 10 business days.  I apologize if that was not conveyed during that conversation.  Thank you.

Good afternoon Ms. [redacted]   I have confirmed with my bank that Bryant Heating and Cooling has reversed the agreed settlement amount of $658.00  on my credit card.  I am satisfied with this settlement and now consider my complaint as closed.   Thanks so much for all of the help from you and the Revdex.com.   Best Regards,   [redacted]

In reference to complaint ID [redacted], I have received telephone calls from [redacted], Vice-President;  [redacted], Operations Manager; and [redacted], who is in charge of customer service.  These personnel have assured me that they will retrain their employees to handle situations such as mine properly in the future.  They have also promised and delivered 12 free filters to me, and agreed to provide free service checks on my HVAC equipment for the next five years.  I have accepted this offer and am satisfied that my relationship with Bryant will be much better from now on.

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted].   The heat pump that our customer purchased is indeed rated up to a 15 seer.   The factor that comes into play when AHRI rates systems is based off of the performance rating of both the indoor & outdoor unit.  We give our...

technicians free rein to determine best equipment combination for the home & the home owner.  However, as always it is our customer’s decision to select as he or she chooses.  We did offer another equipment combination when checked by AHRI that would have yielded the desired seer rating.  We also quoted a more economical system in addition to the system our customer decided to purchase that would have been less expensive but would still heat & cool the home properly.  A properly designed HVAC system isn’t chosen based upon seer ratings but equipment that would be most desirable to the home comfort profile.   Seer ratings can be confusing and I apologize for any lack of communication that may have occurred.   In trying to come to a resolution we would like to offer our customer a $350 reimbursement which would cover the cost of the Energy Star rebate that was declined.  Please let us know if this would be would be satisfactory for resolution.   Again, please accept our apology for any lack of communication on our part.  Thank you.

[redacted] The inspector did not say connecting to a septic system was in code.  He stated it was not.  He also expressed concerns of the condensation line going out side the way they did that it could freeze and back up into the furnace.  the back up in the original line was due to a back up in the septic system which has not happened in over 40 years and they put the original one in..  I will accept $750.00 my deductible and the 2 years premium service covering the furnace and A/C I think the trauma and stress caused by this on Christmas day and the fact I had just goten out of the hospital for heart issues and prep for heart surgery makes my request at this time not unreasonable.

This is in response to Revdex.com ID [redacted].  As stated in our previous response, our records indicate Ms. [redacted] was given 3 options including 2 options that were considerably less expensive for replacement of her furnace.  The contract and invoice clearly are marked and they do not suggest an air conditioner would be included in the work.  At this point replacement, trade or return of the installed furnace is not an option.  However, realizing our customer’s daughter is upset, again we would be interested in discussing a reasonable resolution in an attempt to satisfy both parties.  Ms. [redacted] should have the documents that she signed, but please see the attachment to this email that contains that documentation for your convenience and review.  1) Invoice 207550 dated 10/10/14: states the issue with the furnace along with 3 options/including pricing.  2) Contract [redacted] dated 10/10/14: this is for purchase of furnace only.  3) Invoice [redacted] dated 4/6/15:  states the issue with A/C which includes repair pricing.  If you need additional information please let us know.  We will await your reply.  Thank you.

This is in response to Revdex.com ID #[redacted]  In reviewing the invoice for this service call (see attachment) we did recommend replacing the unit.  But, our technician did not include the pricing for replacement on the invoice.  However, as stated by Mr. [redacted] an approximate price for...

replacement was quoted verbally.   Repair pricing was included as an option on the invoice if not interested in replacement.   Repairs can get costly as time goes on.   Rather than continually sinking money into a unit that has issues we do think that repairing is not always the best option.  Many times it’s only a band-aid and just a short term fix with the unit continually breaking as parts go bad.  We diagnosed the unit having multiple issues including problem with the thermostat.  However, it is the customers decision in the end.   I believe better communication regarding an estimate for replacement would have been helpful.  We value the relationships we develop with our customers.  As a matter of goodwill we are interested in reimbursing Mr. [redacted] the $249.00 that he paid to have his thermostat replaced.  We apologize for any lack of communication.  We will await for your reply.

Thank you.
