I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. This has been an ongoing issue whenever we call the customer service to start/stop the service under the business nameThis was not just experienced by me, it is the same scenario to most of my colleauges who are trying to start the service with the company
I am now wondering what will happen the next time that I call the company for another address? Is this going to be better or we will have to waste our time in calling and dropping the calls from your customer serviceIf there is another company that can offer the service in this location we would like to switch over to that company but we dont have a CHOICE.I would like to have a person/team that will handle all of our requests whenever we start/stop service with your companyYou can provide us a direct number that we can call so that we will not experience the rudeness and unhelpfullness of the customer service representatives even the supervisors

Upon receipt of Ms*** complaint we spoke with her the same day to acknowledge receiving the complaint in our officeWe then forward the matter to our CNP Claims Department
On 7/20/we received an order to complete a temporary disconnection of electric service at the subject address; which was completedLater that evening we received the reconnection of service order from Ms*** providerThe order was created and dispatched to a crew; however the crew had a large number of trouble orders for that afternoon that took priority over the reconnect. The order was taken off of this crew and assigned to another crew around 8:p.m., and was completed at approximately p.m., that evening. The amount of electric emergencies caused the long hold times by Ms***; which we extreme
Our CNP claims Department contacted Ms*** *** and advised that her request for reimbursement of her hotel stay on 7/20/was denied

Our Claims Department looked into this claim a second time including contacting the lineman that completed the trouble ticket at *** *** *** **Our employee confirms the outage was caused due to strong windsAdditionally, the
lineman states, there was very bad weather the entire weekend causing outagesThe claim was denied based section of the tariff which states, “Company will make reasonable provisions to supply steady and continuous Delivery Service, but does not guarantee the Delivery Service against fluctuations or interruptions.” The customer experienced circuit operations caused by strong windsBased upon the above information, we must respectfully continue denial of this claim

In regards to the attached complaint, we found that Ms*** contacted our company on 04/10/2017. As of 05/10/2017, our Remittance Department did not receive the Fraud Investigation Packet that was sent to Ms*** and the complaint was closed. If there is still a dispute,
Ms*** will need to fill out the requested form from our Remittance Department. This office is not at liberty to remove responsibility of the charges. The customer must follow company protocol. For further assistance, Ms*** is advised to contact our Customer Service Department directly at 800-752-and follow instructions to have the implied debt researched and provide her supporting documentation as requested. We were successful in speaking with *** *** on 08/26/15, and CenterPoint Energy confirmed that his natural gas service was restored on 08/25/*** *** was advised that unfortunately, he will need to contact our Claims Department at *** *** for any reimbursement regarding this matterWe regret this office is not at liberty and does not have the jurisdiction to overturn and/or grant any claim made against CenterPoint Energy.

unintentionally entered incorrect bank data. Given the circumstances, she acknowledged it was an unintentional human error, we have agreed to waive both $return check fees as a onetime courtesyWe also have returned her gas online account back to it's initial status of being able to pay online Ms*** has been informed that since our payment processes are self-initiated, should the same incident repeat itself, we will be unable to waive the fee and the fee would be warranted and applied to the account

We are in receipt of Mr*** concerns and thank him for the opportunity to address his concerns. On 7/27/a service technician traveled to the service
address to investigate an odor at the gas meter. It was determined there was a leak on the customer's houseline and to make it safe the meter was removed. Mr*** was informed to have a licensed plumber repair the leak and obtain a city permit. On 7/31/2015, CenterPoint Energy received the permit and Mr*** contacted customer service to have an order created to install a meter and restore the gas service. When the technician arrived it was determined that the customer needed a larger meter and it was referred to the correct office. On 8/3/the larger meter was installed and the service restored
We apologize for any inconvenience Mr*** experienced due to this issue and value him as one of our loyal customers. Due to the inconvenience, a $credit has been added to his account

facilities, the customer would have to hire a private line locator to mark customer owned facilities.Ms*** was contacted and the processes and procedures regarding locating customer owned facilities compared to Public utilities was explained, the customer understood and was satisfied with the explanation Regards,CenterPoint Energy

This company is very shady I have asked for them to pull the phone records to prove that we were NEVER TOLD a $charge would incur and all they can say is "we're not negligent"They Will not even reply to that request which would PROVE that they falsely charged us $It's a very unethical way to get $out of good paying customers TERRIBLE company I will be taking this further
