An order was placed on September 28 with guaranteed delivery by October 22. The order arrived on October 27--three days too late for my event. I tried to cancel the order but good luck trying that! The 800 number is nothing but ads, the live chat had no one available and there was no response to 2 emails sent. Also, the promo codes were confusing and one didn't even work. This was a terrible experience and I will never purchase anything from Costume Express again.
I sent an email to the company costume express and I called them held on the phone for almost two hours before calling Buy seasons spoke to someone names Sarah who said she cancelled the order and I would get an email and my money back BUT I don't think that will happen so I am asking that these companies be shut down. They are fake and taking folks hard earned money!
Review: I ordered two costumes on 10/14 with express shipping to receive within a week as advertised.
Have not received the merchandise as of 10/27. They had on the website that they were backlogged and orders placed on the date I did would be delivered by 10/21. It wasn't delivered. They would not answer the phone.
I finally got a hold of someone via live chat who said that they would put a rush on my order for delivery, but wouldn't guarantee deliver before Halloween.
They are still advertising on the website that you can get your costume before Halloween if you order today (10/27)Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and a $50.00 credit, if they are still going to be in business, which I doubt.
They need to quit taking people's money and guaranteeing shipment by 10/30.

We apologize for the inconvenience, the order did not ship on time. Because we can not get the entire order to you in time for Halloween you have been refunded in full. We are not able to refund more than the cost of the order, but if the customer would like to place a future order with us we will offer 50% off of up to a $200.00 (before discount) order. This will be noted on the order ending in [redacted]. We have had some late deliveries this Halloween season, but the vast majority of orders are delivered on or before the promise date.
