Service America in my area works great!!! I have all my appliances and plumbing serviced through themll if the technicians that provide service at my home are knowledgeable and get the job done quicklyCarmine the plumber is awesome and he has been servicing my home since my kids were babies and they are now in elementary school and he's personable (always comments on how tall they are getting or the lat time I was here you were doing...now you're doing...)
I had an appointment today from noon to 5pmI took a half a day off of work and lost a half a days payThey never called or showedI called customer service and they said they had called me yesterday to tell me it would be at 7:45pmThey never calledIf they did, why would I have taken off work?
This is the second time this has happenedThe last time they didn't show after I had taken a half a day off from work, the driver told dispatch that he couldn't get into the gate to my communityThat day, the gate was broken and the was left wide open for two days
These people out right lie, are incompetent and the last thing they care about is the customerNo one has ever sent me a mail or called apologizing
Lastly, the technicians don't carry the common parts that break down on appliances with them in the truckThe part has to be ordered and then you have to wait for it to come in and then wait for another appointmentMy refrigerator took three weeks to fix a part because of their dysfunctional process
Now they encourage you to go to their website to schedule an appointmentWhen you do, it is a minimum of working days which winds up being two weeksIf you just call them , you can get an appointment anywhere from 24-hoursWhy would anyone go to the website?
I have no idea who the brains are behind this company, but I would challenge that a high school business class could run it more effectively
Within the past two weeks I used Service America for a dryer problem and for a plumbing problem, due to a leaking kitchen sinkOn both occasions, the repairs were completed in a very proffesional and expeditiously manner
I'm pleased that Service America has employed professionals like the technicians that fixed my dryer and the leaky sink
I am a long term customer and recently had an A/C problem with my unitThe man was out here as scheduled and assesed the needed repair in minutesHe went to his truck, got the part and all is goodThank you Dave the repairman for your efficency

It really pays to check reviews before spending money on a service company! I did not Now it is costing me Service America was called repeatedly for the same A/C problem I finally had to call another company to fix the problem because they could not fix it Not only that, but they could not schedule the service call until 1/days after I called! DO NOT sign up with them!!
