We are very pleased with Capital City Appliance. They are reliable, fair in their business dealings and friendly. I am very comfortable having them in my home and trust the advice they give regarding my appliances. They have been to our house 3 times now and we have been extremely satisfied each time.

I recently had a very positive and happy ending experience with Capital City Appliance. I have a 4 year old KitchenAid dishwasher that was $1800 new. In the past 8 months, the control panel has gone out 3 times. A previous service company came in and replaced the panel - twice - but never looked any further as to WHY this kept happening, putting the blame more on misuse than an actual problem. Jerry B at Capital city very quickly diagnosed the root cause, which was a corroded fan motor that was unable to keep moisture build up out of the electronics. KitchenAid provided ALL the parts that were either bad, failing or a problem, and he had me up and running with a like-new dishwasher in under 30 minutes. While he was here, he also gave me some very useful information about my oven! I highly recommend them!

Though I don't appreciate having to wait until the day before to get my 3 hour service call window, the repair man, Jerry P was excellent. He gave me a 1/2 hour call, arrived and was done, fixed my dryer, within 15 minutes. He was very courteous and professional and knew what was wrong the second he turned on the dryer and heard the noise. He even pulled a handful of change out of the dryer and left it on the washer. I appreciated that honesty.

This company is used for appliance repair and we are obliged to use them as they are the only game in town for repair of appliances bought at ***, , *** They have come out 5 times, claiming to fix a fridge that still does not work. The repairman is friendly but has been unable to fix the fridge and in fact, froze all our refrigerated food in the process. When brought to their attention, it was ignored. The woman who answers the phone is the rudest person with whom I've ever spoken. We have been without a fridge for over a month now with no solution. If you look at their rating on Revdex.com and *** it's awful. Someone needs to put them out of business.

My response is as benign as I can muster due to the unintelligent complaint given on Capital City Appliance Service. Firstly, for this individual to characterize someone as rude is beyond scope, he needs to look within. Secondly, in response to fixing his unit; there is no fix! We attempted to get the unit deemed non-repairable because of contamination, but, and I reiterate BUT! the manufacturer said repair it and that is what we must do! They make that call not Capital City Appliance Service. So, your anger is directed at the wrong company. We are not responsible for this situation, bottom line. You want reimbursement, contact your manufacturer. Capital City Appliance Service tried to help you, we do not deserve this!

I am rejecting this response because: This is exactly the kind of disrespectful and dismissive response customers receive from this company. If you look at Google ratings (2.1) and Revdex.com ratings you will see a pattern of this terrible behavior. Further, the technician ruining our refrigerated food has not been addressed. I think you can see the rudeness showing through here very clearly.

I had a wonderful experience with Judy scheduling my Viking repair with her service person, Jerry. I had a response from Judy immediately. I received my appointment within a week. Jerry was prepared so I didn't need another service call. They both were professional and went above my expectations to help me. It was refreshing to have an honest company that actually followed up with my request. The appliance is working great! If I need any additional repair in the future I would use them again without hesitation for any appliance in my home. Honestly, I can't understand the negative reviews online.
