Review: This is regarding a hard-pull which took place against my credit report on April 30th of 2013. I do not recall authorizing that a hard-pull take place. Please remove the hard-pull from all records of all credit reporting bureau agencies: Innovis, Experian, Equifax, and Transunion. Do not retaliate against me or any family member in any way for demanding that the hard-pull be removed. For instance, if the removal of a hard pull will further damage my or a family member's credit score, then do not remove it.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
Please provide evidence indicating my authorization for a hard-pull. I do not recall this. Neither can [redacted] or my son. In all, remove the hard-pull from all credit reports. If a hard-pull took place for another family member, such as [redacted] or [redacted], then please also remove any hard-pull for them as well.

She told me that they sent the check to the dealership, then she told me that she didn't no which dealership. I called and sent emails she call me back saying she's still working on it. Then she called me on last Friday saying that they lost the check, I guess she forgot she told me she sent it to the dealership. She said she would call me 1st thing Monday morning she didn't. I called on Friday she never answer the phone so I sent a email and then today is Saturday I got a letter in the mail saying I DIDNT follow the process and that they not fixing my car, I need file with the tow company and the auction people. Review: I have been receiving junk mail/advertising mail from CapitalOne for over one year. I have poor credit and this makes me a target of most banks and credit card offers. However, I have had fraud, identity theft against me recently and over the past two years. I am trying to avoid any new credit line or offers from any financial instituition. I have requested by calling and by mail that CapitalOne stop sending me credit card offers, as this is causing me undo hardship and possible identity theft issues. Recently, I asked twice that CapitalOne stop sending credit card offers/advertisment to me, but they just keep on sending the mail/offers anyway. I want this mail to stop coming. My complaint concerns: OtherDesired Settlement: I need the credit card offers to stop, in order to avoid identity theft, and if identity theft does occure as a result of CapitalOne not honoring my request, that they be liable for any identity theft, or fianancial hardship incurred.

Review: My Account was paid in full, the hole 426.00 dollars. Every since I have received the card and made small purchases when my payment was due it was a mess trying to process them online or by phone. I have made many attempts to have this situation resolved and nothing. So to sum it up the information that was provided to the three credit bureau is in correct that was provided by Capital One. I have called them many times to get the situation taken care of and disputed it 4 times with the credit bureau. They cant change anything unless Capital One does it on their end. So I am at wits ends with this stuck on my credit report until April 2022.My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I am hoping to have this resolved and the account reported to the credit bureau corrected. My account was not a charge off account also it was paid in full no settlement the total balance. Also the customer requested the account closed due to no longer needed. I feel like that means my account should be in good standing.

Review: First I love this company and this is the first problem I had with them. The issue is charges was not able to be paid because of credit card issues. I was told different things by different reps and supervisors. Offer was made but I declined because it was not close to the amount owed. Because of this issue I accured fees that I feel I should not be charged for. This put me at an great disadvantage because I had to find and pay for ways to work, appts, take my child to school and myself to school. I'm hoping that someone will be contacting me about this issue being that I have contacted the company. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: I will like for them to handle the fees that I am now being charged.

Review: I missed a payment in January of this year because the app had some type or registration error it kept giving me, even though I had used the app many times before and wasn't a new register. Due to this error, I wasn't able to login and change the payment type for that month. So, I called in a day later and explained what had been going on with the login system, and the rep took my payment and then I asked him if I was still enrolled in my credit steps program, to which he assured me I was. I previously had missed 1 payment in November last year, simply b/c I mixed my due dates up and after that I set up automatic minimum monthly payments at the suggestion of the rep. He still re-assured me that I was still in the program for my automatic increase for April this year. Fast forward to this month and I didn't see my increase. I logged into my account and started an online chat. The rep in that session only kept repeating to me that I had been automatically unenrolled. I kept explaining to him what happened and what I was told and that they could pull the call to verify. He only continued to repeat the same thing and then had me wait for about 10 minutes twice to come back and repeat the same thing. I explained to him that Capital One should stand behind the information given by their customer service reps b/c If we can't believe them then what are they there for. He said he would feel the exact same way in this situation. Great, now where is the customer service? My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: automatic credit limit increase I was told that I would receive.

Review: I was behind on my loan payment. I paid what I was told was due in full 3 months ago. I have been since then paying my payment 2 times a month in order to be caught up according to Capital One. I was told that I was caught up by one of the people that I spoke with through the customer serv. I just spoke to them last week to be told I still owe them 2000.00 because I had only paid the interest. My payment is a set monthly payment for 72 months. It is not set up that way. I have paid in 3 months time 2700.00. There is no way I was behind that many payments. I was told originally it was only 3 months. I have paid this and they are still saying that I am 3 months behind. I need help in finding out what is happening with this because something isn't right. I have asked for a printout of my payment history sent to me with no a due.My complaint concerns: an Auto LoanDesired Settlement: I would like to have my account showing current in payments and my bill adjusted accordingly. This is reflecting on my credit scores and making them worse.

I faxed over proof showing I wasn't a driver anymore etc. And they did not accept. I really think this is wrong and need to be fixed ASAPMy complaint concerns: an Auto LoanDesired Settlement: I would like my approval to be reinstated

Review: I had transferred a balance to the Capital One credit card with promotional rate of 0% interest. However the promotion was ok in first month but Capital One started charging interest on the balance, increased my minimum payment, which resulted my automatic payment to fall short and charging more fees on top on the interest rate. I called capital one and they "opened" a case saying they have to review the call recordings and in 2 to 3 weeks someone will call back. I said that is too long, the rep supposedly increased the level and said someone call you in a week. Its been about month with no calls and no change in the account regarding interest rate and promotion. I called after almost 4 weeks passing and still no answer I am told they need few more days and they are waiting for another info from another department, which initially they said they have to listen to the call, if they listen to the call its clear on the call and they will see the truth. This is costing me over $200 in interest fees and much higher minimum payment resulting in financial problems. I need this taken care asap. Its a simple fix. No one transfers $18,000 with interest rate of over 20%. All they have to do is listen to the call that I made the transfer on. It is clear on the call. More time passes they are gonna they don't have the recording anymore. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: fix the promotion rate of zero interest, reverse all fees charged, remove any negative reporting on my credit and some kind of compensation for the big problem they have caused and not fixing the issue promptly, affecting my credit and for the financial restrain that has put on my budget. extend the promotion for more months would be acceptable.

Review: Capital One is reporting to the major credit agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) that my account was late. However, I had always made on-time payments. In particular, at Experian, Capital One is showing a late payment on August 2013 for partial account #[redacted].... and a late payment for July 2014 for partial account #[redacted].... These are both inaccurate. My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: Please contact the credit reporting agencies and update my record to reflect that it was not late. Thank you.

Capital One's disputes department is terrible. My dispute went on for 4 months back and forth. Merchant had no proof of agreed amount or signature. But Capital One wants customer to provide proof of non authorization. Crazy. My word was told and recorded by them when merchant tried to charge account. Told them the situation. They said they take care of it. But that meant asking me more questions. I answered them. Then they send notice of chargebacks to my account. I dispute these but they was fraudulent seeing that I did not authorize said amount. They wanted it in dispute. They keep it going back and forth they credit my account the money then they charge it back then credit it then chargeback then ask me for proof I didn't charge. The person had no proof of authorization. I just closed account and sent them my proof. But it's crazy they don't care about the customer. They don't believe you. You gotta prove it while others lie and they take their word. Never do business with them.

Review: I have been trying for a few weeks now to settle account issues with Capital one with no success. Back in October/November, my account was deliquent, but I made a $50 payment in the beginning of November, and a $70 additional payment at the end of November. The next time I logged into my account, in the beginning of December, the Payments tab listed both of my payments. The Accounts Summary page listed my previous balance as $515.22, my current balance as $445.22, an available credit balance to use of $54.78, and a $0 minimum payment due on 12/20/13. However, I went to use my card at a vending machine and was delined. When I wrote customer service asking why, I was told my last payment was $50 on 11/1, so my account had no available balance due to delinquency....? I wrote back and forth to customer service 2 more times, asking where is their record of my $70 payment (it shows online?), how am I delinquent if I have no payment due, why does the account page show available credit if I have none, etc. Twice they wrote back and did not answer my questions, but merely stated again that my account is delinquent so I have no available credit. I sent a final message on 12/20, stating that if I did not get answers to my questions I would have no choice but to turn this into the Revdex.com, as I am not getting clear answers whatsoever from customer service, and the information that they are giving is completely different than what is on the customer service page. The message I received back is that this is not something they can respond to online, and that I have to call..? I'm confused. Three times I received answers from customer service, and now suddenly they can't respond via email at all?! I work for a bank and this is very poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like answers to my questions, once and for all. I work long hours, and I am not allowed to use my phone for personal calls, so they must answer via email. I want to know where my $70 payment was applied to. I want to know why there is a $0 balance due for 12/20 if the customer service reps claim I am delinquent. I want to know why the customer service reps tell me I have $0 available credit and the Account Servicing page states I have $54.78 available credit. I want the Account Servicing page to state the CORRECT information, and I want it to MATCH what customer service is telling me. I also want an apology for giving me the run around and not answering my questions. I would also like to know that from now on I will only receive correct and matching information from both customer service and the Capital One website.

Review: My wife and I receive more than 4-6 mailings per week at our home, and all of them have been returned to sender by the Post Office. I have written and asked repeatedly (on the envelopes of the returned mailings) to TAKE US OFF the mailing list, with no reply and no compliance. Trying to reach out to the company has been met with frustration. Runarounds with the proper phone number and contact information, and a lack of complaint form on their website to handle this internally have contributed to this complaint with the Revdex.com. Mailings that are unsolicited are unwelcome at our home, and they must stop immediately. Take us off your list. We want none of your products and never will. My wife has been the most recent recipient of these, and she shares my sentiments about Capital One. Her name is [redacted] We both receive unsolicited spam mail at our home from Capital One, and we want it to stop now.Complaint concerns: OtherDesired Settlement: We wouldn't use your products on the principle of this issue alone, let alone the fact that we don't want your credit cards or products ever again. You treated me poorly when I had an account, and that won't soon be forgotten. There are other companies out there who treat their customers much better, and they don't spam me or my wife repeatedly with unwanted, unsolicited mail.

Review: 10/21/15 I checked into a room at the [redacted] and was charged $155.26.
The room was unsanity and I got a headached from fumes after 10 seconds of exposure.
I went immediately to the front desk and asked for a non-smoking room.
I was advised there was not one.
I asked for a refund.
I was advised I had to wait until the following day for a manager to call.
I left the property after booking another hotel in the [redacted] lobby - about 15 minutes later.
I never returned to the property.
I was never contacted by [redacted].
On 10/23/15 I called [redacted] and asked to speak to the manager. I was told by [redacted] I would get a call back by the manager, [redacted].
I never received a call back.
On 10/24/15 I called [redacted] and asked to speak to the manager. I was advised there was no manager and that I would get a call back.
I never received a call back.
On or about 10/24/15 I contacted Capital One to dispute this charge. I spoke with Tiffany. Tiffany did not transcribe the case accurately. I had to speak with her supervisor, Maya.
[redacted] responded to the dispute and claimed that I checked out of the room the next day on 10/22/15 around 12:15 pm. The property runs surveillance cameras. I wasn't on the property on 10/22/15 - their statement is fraudulent.
Capital One rebilled me. I called to get more information and was put on hold for over an hour before I disconnected.
I was advised I would receive mail from Capital One and the deadline for me to respond was in December.
So far I have not received any documentation from Capital One.
I have contacted Capital One no less than 10 times and generally get a Filipino who cannot speak English and cannot assist.
I spoke with employee Chuck 12/2/15 who put me on hold for about 15 minutes.
I then asked to speak with Chuck's supervisor, [redacted] employee ID: TWW218.
I asked [redacted] for assistance and to email me the documents and he advised me he cannot assist.
[redacted] disconnected my call.My complaint concerns: a Credit CardDesired Settlement: Email or overnight mail the vendor's response so I can reply to it.
Credit me back $155.26 and stop wasting my time.

Review: I called the company on 10/30/13 A.M and asked for current offers. I was told there was a 0 percent interest and 0 percent transfer fee to borrow up to 20,000. I said that sounded too good to be true and asked her to repeat it three times. I repeated it back 3 times. Just so there would be no misunderstanding. She asked me if she could send the check and I asked her how long the offer was good for and she told me Dec. 31.I made a purchase of a private party for the purchase of the car where they wanted cash. When I called to get the check the same evening they told me there was so such offer. The gal I spoke to EID# was [redacted]. I asked to speak to a [redacted] and she told me there was nothing they could do. Her EID# is[redacted] her name was [redacted]. She told me fax a statement over to consumer affaires and ask for them to supena phone records. That it may or may not help. There were many parties involved in making the transaction to purchase this car. All the way from [redacted] to [redacted]. I may stand to loose the purchase of the car. Had I known this I could have gotten the car through a car dealer in [redacted]. and now have lost that opportunity. Finding another car after searching for 1 month and a half will not be an easy task. I will be paying at least 2-3 1000 dollars more now. I do not know what else I have could have done more right than to ask 3 times and this should be recorded.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation) I want Capital One to honor the so said agreement of 0 % interest on the money I would like to borrow for 1 year. With 0% transfer fee. Like on the phone recording says. I asked So your telling me if I pay this off within one year it will cost me nothing correct? The answer was yes. 3 Times.
