got a late start getting my area ready, due to me working away...but I ordered 9-9-with the site readyx x Vertical roof/sides/gables came 10-30-as promised...the crew arrived late morning...no fault of theirs, since the person who's building was to be put up the day before didn't have his concrete base right...the crew led by Marcello Ocampo never stopped for the next hours...he was very polite, and answered every question I had...for a young man, he was very experienced...if I put another up, I wish he would be the one to do it I understand some customers complaints about crews not showing up on the day or time promised its usually not the crews fault...weather is a big factor...traveling time may play into it...customer saying site ready/level and its not maybe CCI could have crew leader call in to let them know if theres a delay, and CCI could forward to customer

I recently had a carport installed by CCI and had no problem with time of delivery, like most people are having, but had a MAJOR problem with the quality of the job and the finished project I refused to pay do to the carport being out of level by over 6" I had the pad properly installed and there was no excuse for how un-level the carport was except for the inability of workers to level an 18x36' carport At first they said they would come back to fix it because the pics I sent were ridiculously obvious Two days before they were suppose to come back they called to say they did their part (of installing the carport) and it was my fault that the shed looked the way it did They refuse to come fix their crappy work and said they are turning me over to collections This company just wants your money! They could care less about the quality of the work they are putting out there I would NEVER recommend them to anyone that is looking for a metal carport!!

We ordered a carport from [redacted] which is a seller for Carolina Carports on 12/31/and was told at the time we ordered that it would be around 2/14/before installation which we were fine withThe problem was they called and wanted to deliver on 1/28/and I was not able to be here because I was summoned for Jury Duty and they wanted to come anyway but I refused because I wanted to make sure it was placed where we wanted it placedThey then called our house phone (they had both house and cell phone numbers) on Saturday Feb13, and said they could deliver it on 1/18/but we had to call them back in a few minutes in order to get it on the truck, we were out of town for the weekend and did not get the message until Sunday afternoonI tried to call and they were closed so I called on Monday and left two messages and no one bothered to call me back, I wanted to know why they did not call my cell phone since they had both numbers!! They then called to have it delivered on 2/25/and called the night before and cancelled because they said the weather was bad, which it was not!! They rescheduled for 2/29/and was supposed to be here by lunch or shortly after, they called me at 1:30PM and said they were not coming because the delivery and setup before ours was not able to be delivered that morning because they could not get up someone's driveway(why did they wait till 1:30PM to call then if they knew that in the morning), at that point she said she would call me back by the end of the week to rescheduleShe called on 3/4/and scheduled delivery for Thursday 3/10/and said they would be here late morning! Of course at noon they were still not here so I called and was told they were running behind and would be here by 1PM, of course they were NOT!!! I called again at 2:00PM and was told he was on his way and would be here around 2:They arrived at 2:45PM and came onto our property smoking cigarettes and throwing them on the ground, I went out and told them to pick up their butts, we do not smoke and I didn't appreciate them throwing them on the ground and to pick them up!!! They could hardly speak English and it was very hard for me to understand them!! WE WILL NEVER BY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!! We were going to buy another one for a work van but it won't be from this company!!!!!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is an update to original complaint filed Dec CCI's contractor showed up unannounced on Sunday December 19thHe did install my carport that dayHe had an issue with not being able to install an anchor, which I did not complain aboutIt was easier for me to fix it myself On December we had a rain storm come through and I found the roof leakingSense CCI was closed for Christmas, I had to wait until January to contact them When I did reach Myra she asked what it would take to correct the leaksI told her that the metal will have to come off and the lap joints sealedShe told me that won't happenI didn't argue that pointI have since had another carport contractor to look at it and have been told that the joints need to be sealed, which I already knew Didn't hear anything until I called on March 5thMyra said she would get someone up by the end of the month It is now April 23rdCalled again today and she told me that I had given her days, whi

I put a deposit of $on a Carolina Carport on 5/27/with the understanding it could take up to weeks to get an install dateAOK, moving forward weeks to 6/30/still no schedule date and call CC for explanationRenee said due to bad weather they moved install date forward to 7/14/I ask my management for the 14th off and guess who calls 7/12/17? Carolina Carport wanting to move the install date to 7/15/ I explained no as I rearranged my scheduleThey offer a $off install incentive as my bonus for poor management and obviously not enough installersI return to the place I made my deposit with and they refunded my moneyI will never do business with Carolina Carports againBUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!

This company is a joke!! I ordered a carport in july .it took months to get it installed..all I got was excuses after excuses..I ordered extra pieces to be installed .ordered in sept..I'm still waiting..I call the company repeatedly and all I get is excuses..will never buy anthing from this company again and I'm not recommending them to anyone either..customer service is nonexsistent with this co..stay away from them!!

I was told by my salesman that my carport would be installed with in weeks of my purchase dateI called on the 6th week to find out what day they would be installing itI was told that I wasn't even on a work order yet and that there employees take weeks off for Christmas and it would be after thatI was told they were backlogged and wasn't sure when I would be scheduledThe person I talked to didn't seem bothered in the least bit that They weren't going to install it in time or that she knew when it would be installedI wish I had known all of this a head of time because I would not have done business with this company!

A $additional charge for labor was added to my invoice stating that the installers had to carry materials over feetInstallers did not carry materials over feetThey didn't even carry it over feetThis is a bogus charge made by Carolina Carports and I do not feel that I should have to pay it

We are currently STILL waiting on our structure and after cancellations & TWO full days worth of pay lost, we are still without our garage! Being in the construction field myself, these installers have used every excuse in the book; death in the family, vehicle accident & now nonexistent rainNo calls, just text messages, which I find highly unprofessionalLast minute notices with no real solutionsLost wages countered by almost insulting discountsAt this point after having all of our garage belongings in storage for so long & the sheer frustration would love to be refunded our deposit & CCI keep their materials & go to another companyYou guys are NOT the only game around & certainly one of the most disorganized & unprofession organizations I’ve had the displeasure of dealing

We purchased a carport from them Octand they stated it would be Dec1st when it would be deliveredThey called about the delivery and set it for Friday, Dec8thNo one showed up and so I called the next weekThe lady I talked to said it was delivered and set up on that dateI told her, UM NO...I am looking at where it IS to go and there is nothing! She went in to check and sure enough, it is still thereShe has made other dates for delivery and all cancelledShe said she would get a discount for the trouble and yesterday morning she called to set up a time for today, Jan11, and called back minutes later saying she, again, had to cancel and we could not get a discount We are so upset and aggravated, it's not funnyEnough of this...we just want our deposit back and do something else

After two & one half months following ordering I was finally called to schedule installation No one showed up on the date they were supposed to Two days later I was contacted to reschedule and again no one showed up to install my carport I paid the dealer $upon placing my order

I placed a deposit with Carolina Carports to finish the rear portion of my carportThey told me it would be 8-weeks from date of depositI put a deposit in 7/ and as of 12/20, they still haven't completed my carportTwice they made an appointment with me to come and work but they never showed up nor did they give me the common curtesy to call and cancelThey then scheduled a third time and canceled due to a "injury" to one of the workers! This company continuously gives me the run around about completing my carport! Also, when they responded to my complaint to the Revdex.com they lied in their response and they also failed to mention that they failed to show up two other times without even calling me to let me know they weren't comingI canceled a appointment and sat around on two fridays waiting for them and they never showed!

Earlier this summer, we entered a contract with Carolina Carports, Inc., via one of their authorized dealersWhile the dealer was happy explain our options and take our non-refundable deposit (over $200), he is now unwilling to even speak with us CC eventually scheduled our delivery and building, and then rescheduled When they arrived, they announced that the ground was not level, and we either had to pay more for additional metal - which would also incur an additional trip charge, since they couldn't provide extra metal that day- or level the ground and reschedule The paper we signed indicated that they could install the building as is- no warranty- even if the ground was not level Nowhere is there any range listed for what they can build on, regarding how level the ground isWe live in the mountains, dealer knows this CC refuses to refund our deposit, claiming the dealer retains it Dealer refuses because of 'conflicting information', and now refuses to even return calls or emails We not only did not get our building, but we're out the depositWouldn't be an issue at all if the paperwork did not expressly state that they can build if the ground isn't level

I ordered a carport from them4-6-When they came to install it I went out to show them the sewage line which was next to where the carport was to be installedI showed him the direction the line ran, he said okThe cap to the sewage line was right there to be seen After the installation was complete they were pulling out with their big trailor I noticed also a big mark in my driveway I went out to see what it was & their hitch from the trailor sunk down into the blacktopI took pictures of it & sent them with my complaintAfter them refussing to help, they were to contact me back they never didMy son said let it go so I never bothered them any moreThen months ago my sewage line seemed to have a problemI had a plumber come in with a camera & seen that the sewage line was broke when they put the rebarb down through itdollars later I contacted them about it with an estimate to repair the line 0f dollarsThey said they aren't paying anything

Carolina Carports INCLit's and makes promises they don't keepThis is not the dealer this is the company at their 1-numberThey should be forced to shut down I know I will never buy from them againVery sorry companySorry company usually run by sorry people from top to bottom pack of liars

I was charged an extra $on my bill for this company NOT showing on up on the SCHEDULED DATE of installPurchased a carport though Georgia Portable didn't know that would be associated with CCIFinally a scheduled date was setup for 9/11, but due to the weather it was pushed back to 9/13, no problemOn 9/I took a half a day off from work waited for them to show upNO ONE SHOWED UP TO DO THE WORK, NO ONE CALLEDThe next morning 9/I went into work was planning on giving them a call when they opened to find out what happenedA little after 7:00am the contractor called said he was at my house to install the carport UNSCHEDULEDHe mentioned he had a lot of jobs the day before, but was there now to installI told him I was at work, it would have to be rescheduledI called the company basically there response was that I didn't have to be there just tell the installer what you want doneNO, I as a customer want to be there to see the work done and that things are going OKWhat kind of company sends out someone to do work without having it SCHEDULED with the customerThe person on the phone said I would just have to be placed back into the rotation for them to come out againRec'd a call from them that they could come out on 9/26, then they called back later said it would have to be on 9/27, no problemThey came out installed the carport, did a good job, then handed me the billIt had an additional charge of $for - Goes To Contractor from 9/So, this company with little or no business ethics charged me for the installer NOT SHOWING UP ON 9/AS SCHEDULED, NOT CALLING, THEN SHOWING UP 9/UNSCHEDULEDI didn't call this company back on the charge to hear a lousy explanation as to why they charged me and why they couldn't reimburse me on that chargeCUSTOMERS BEWARE
