I met with one of Carolina Carports' sales representatives to "build" a carport (color, size, shape), on 2/11/2017, and paid the representative the down payment for the buildingHe (Gene of Grand Bay, AL) informed me that I would pay the rest of the building cost at the time of delivery and installation On the contract it said to check and see if a building permit was required in the purchasers areaSo, I asked MrGene if I needed one living in our town, and he assured me I would notHe told me he has been selling these building for yearsHe also informed me not to waste my money on a certified building, and that it was just paying more money for the same thing On 3/7/the installers showed up to put the carport upA Mobile County Inspector also pulled up and asked to see my permitI informed the inspector I was told I did not need oneHe said anything over square feet required a building permit in the county in which I liveHe asked me if I purchased the bui

Buyer beware! I purchased a x carport 6/6/knowing it might be 4-weeks for deliveryI called several times to get a status on this carport but never got a real answer, only that they would callI even had the dealer call, without resolveFinally got a call 7/26/to set up an appointment to install the carport on 7/31/She said it would be daybreak! Fine with meOnly thing is no one shows up at daybreak and I received no callI called the company after they opened only to find out they aren't coming, want to make another appointment for 8/4/late afternoonWell, can't do so they have to take me off the scheduleSo, went to the dealer and got our deposit backWill never deal with them again

I was told 4-weeks for delivery, just started week and still no wordI have called twice and was told next truck out I would cancel order if I could get by deposit backShould have read reviews first

This company fails to deliver or communicate to customersWe were told 4-weeks and now we are almost going on three months waiting for our building Very frustrating when you trust a company to deliver and at such a large purchase No one can provide us a date I called last month and was told it would be here by the end of JuneMy wife called today and spoke to Allison that could not give any dates, just that we are “scheduled” for this monthBuilding was ordered in APRIL and it’s almost the middle of July

I purchased a Carolina carport from a private individual in April of and he suggested to hire CCI to move the carport CCI took my deposit and informed me it would be about 2-weeks On the first weekend of August 2015, CCI set up a date to install and they backed out A few weeks later they called and schedule a date to install and they never showed up They scheduled a new install date a week later and failed to show I even called to confirm that date and was advised we were good to go They scheduled for the day after but the crew leader called and advised me he couldn't do the move because of inclement weather I decided I had wasted enough time with CCI and hired a different company that moved it within a week

I bought a metal building from this company several years agoIn May of this year the roll up door on my building was damagedI contacted Carolina to request purchasing a replacementdoorI was given the run around from the very startOne salesman said they could not provide the door, then another said they couldBack and forth so onFinally they said they could(They manufacture this door, so no other roll up doors from other companies could be substituted.) I gave them the option of either shipping me the door and I would install it or when they had an installation crew in town they could install itWe agreed to have on of their crews install the doorI was quoted to weeks for installationI paid, in advance $for the door and installationI have checked in with them periodically to see if I was on the installation scheduleMost of these calls were not answered directly by a customer service representative, I could only get voicemails with no return call back

AWFUL customer service!!! I ordered a free standing leon NOVEMBER 10, 2016, and I STILL have not received itThis is the THIRD time they have scheduled an installation with me and either no-showed or loaded the truck with the wrong materials...so today, I took off work and they didn't call or show upAGAIN!!! No explanation! I called their office twice this afternoon to make sure I was still scheduled for delivery, and no one called me backVery poor business practices and I will be telling ALL friends and family to avoid doing business with this company! In looking at their page, it appears I'm not the only person having this problemMore people than not gave them star, so it looks like I should have checked that first before placing an order!

AmeriCoat replaced the complainant’s driveway with a new asphalt driveway on September 22, On May 14, 2015, the complainant contacted AmeriCoat with concerns about rippling on the driveway On May 13, 2015, a sales manager assessed the property The complainant was told that there were no signs of cracking or upheaval on the driveway and the structural integrity was still very good The complainant was told to monitor the driveway If she had further concerns, we asked that she call us On August 27, 2015, AmeriCoat received an e-mail from the complainant informing us that the driveway has an uneven surface and she had concerns that someone may trip on parts of the asphalt The sales manager in charge of the account re-assessed the property on August 31, On September 1, 2015, it was determined that an infrared repair needed to be performed on the areas of concern at no additional charge to the complainant A message was left for the complainant to discuss the repair procedure and schedule the repair We received notification from the Revdex.com that the complainant filed this complaint on September 1, We will continue to try to speak with the complainant to schedule a repair for the driveway / [redacted] Style Definitions */

I ordered a small carport on Oct 19, 2015, Today is Feb 23, At the time of the purchase, the dealer called and was told 8-weeksI have called Carolina Carports times and have been told that they are "working on October" orders soonI live in southwest Missouri and our total snowfall for this winter has been less than inches so they can't use the weather as an excuseThe contract I signed states no deposit refund so I guess I am stuck waiting

I placed an order for a carport and received a approxdate of delivery Then they called and said that due to them not being able to get a hold of me( I was in the hospital for days in ICU) to verify the order that they had to postpone the shipping for a month I was next given a delivery date of mid OctoberWhen I asked them if they needed to go over the order with me they said, no we have the info right hereSo why was it postponed a month? Next they called and set the delivery date of October 28thThen another call postponing it until October 31, then another call setting things back until Nov1st Each time I had to cancel doctor's appointments or other commitments This is totally bad business policyI should have been more careful and checked the company out better I thought I was dealing with a local company (their agent in Labelle Florida and they would stay on top of the order.) I am sorry now I did business with them at all Since you the Revdex.com have not been able to do anything about this company's complaints I don't guess there is any sense in going any further with this complaintSo just add another dissatisfied customer to your growing list

We have left several messages for the customer at the number provided If he lets us know a good day, time and phone number to call, we will be happy to have a manager speak with him regarding the condition of the driveway

Worst service that I have ever had with anything Door handle still does not work Don't expect any type of customer service from this bunch Had the building put up last fall and still don't have complaint resolvedI bought another building , same size, and paid over dollars more just to not have dealings with this bunch again

First off, I wish I would have known that there were other complaints about this company, I would have never purchased the garage from themI paid for my garage in full...with this being said, I had to have Carolina Carports to come back out to fix the garage because it wouldn’t pass inspection & shotty workmanshipNow, the roof is leaking and called weeks before Christmas and was told it would be fixed, no update or call to inform me what was going on(...a leaking roof...really...who pays for a building to have a leaky roof...)I finally call back AGAIN the week before Christmas and was told that the company was closed for ChristmasNow it’s January 8th 2018, and I had to call customer service AGAIN to find out what was going onI was told that supposedly they were calling at the end of the week to schedule something for next week....TERRIBLE!!! I would NEVER recommend Carolina Carports!!!

We purchased a cover from Carolina Carports It has not been a good experience, if you have any other choice I would certainly use it even if you pay more Once ordered it took several weeks to get the building and set up the date for installation, this all went ok, however the crew that put up the building left metal shavings over the yard and we picked up over screws they left on the ground and we are still finding them, due to this we lost a tire on our boat trailer Then we decided to have more panels put on one side of the building, this took a very long time, then when a date was set to have this done I contacted them times to verify the appointment since I had to plan to be home, I was assured all times they would be there, well never heard from anyone that dayAt 6am the next day someone is banging on my door(got in bed at 2am) no phone call nothing Last we just had some fairly high winds, 45mph, the supports they used where so weak they pulled through the cheap metal on one side and crumpled on the other allowing the building to lean almost onto the boat When we contacted them about the damage they said not there problem contact our insuranceWe have their email....can share So they are not accredited, I did not research good enough, but if your researching stay away from this company

Worst experience ever! Ordered a carport for my home in mid August 2016, Was told it would be 5-weeksDid not receive a call until November 28th confirming a date to deliver and install the building on December 1stI get a call November 29th stating that the crew is having auto trouble and will be there on the 2ndI got a phone call everyday rescheduling with a different excuseMeanwhile a neighbor of mine ordered a building the same day I did and his was installed 12/Soon 12/I got a call to schedule for 12/then rescheduled for 12/12/I did not receive a call from them so I waiting from 12pm to 6pm for them to show and even called to get an update and they said that they would call the crew to see their location and they did not call me back or show up at all12/I call Carolina carports and they informed me that the crew had experienced some rain so they packed up and took my building back to the plant in GAI live in South FloridaI Have still not received this building I have been waiting for monthsThis is not a way to run a business and have no idea how they are still in businessIt seems that the problem lies with their crews installing the buildingsThe office personnel are pleasant and understandingI hope this is resolved soon

I bought my carport back in It had a leak in the roof early on which I fixed.I wanted a garage door installed and the front enclosed.Sent MULTIPLE emails..no response.Local dealer here in east tennessee says there is now a $return trip fee.more like a penalty for the new door I wantThey must be so big they chsse business away.Still haven't heard from them
