Change My Postal Address Reviews (%countItem)

This website presented itself as an official USPS address change form and I did not realize I was being charged nearly $80 for a service that is provided by the USPS for $1 until after the confirmation was made. This business is using deceptive business practices to trick people into thinking they are using official USPS channels and charging them steep prices as well as not posting price information until after confirmation. I have sent multiple complaints with no answer and I am demanding a refund from them.

I was on the official USPS website when I attempted to submit a change of address request. I was unknowingly re-directed to this business webpage, where I completed their form, and was told I would be charged $1. Checking my account this morning I saw that I was charged 59.95, and other people who have complained had said that they were charged $60 or $80 several times. This page is fraudulent and lies to gain money from its guests.

I was under the impression I would be charged $1.00, I was charged $59 dollars for a change of address that cost $1. There is no way to contact this fraudulent website.

I want to know how I get the funds back. I was not aware this was not the united states postal service website. I would like to be reimbursed. Change of address is never more than $2 and I was charged $59.95 and my account is negative because of it. Their website said I would charged a dollar I didn’t even realize this was not a legitimate site!!

went to change my address and thought it was 1.00 but got charged 59.95. I want an immediate refund.

In March I went on a website that I thought was the USPS. I purchased to have two address changes. It was brought to my attention just now that this was a scam. When I went back into the site to try to see if I could contact someone, there is no phone number. In addition, the terms of the contract listed online were not met. I never received to my knowledge an ebook that they indicated I would receive, and I should not have had to pay at all for the second address.

I am seeking full refund due also to a Satisfaction Guarantee that they also have posted.

Any assistance I can get in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am being charged $59.95 to change an address when United States Postal Service is charged $1.05 this is incorrect and false advertisement leading consumers to spend their money and not have the address changed

I attempted to change my address after googling "change address usps" and stupidly clicked on the first result. The process was rather similar to when I changed my address prior times but I noticed that I was charged 59.95 after completion. I didn't receive any response from the service provider.

The site pays for preferred SEO ranking so they appear at the top of search results. As a result of this, people are led to believe this is the official USPS website OR a 3rd party charging a small fee. No, they charge you $60 or more for their "service". Complete scam. They are using cloudfare so hard to tell where they are but they could be in PA or Bahamas.

59.95 out if my account instead of 1.05

Suppose to charge me 1.05 but instead 59.95

I went on the website to go to the UPS site to change my address and I thought I was on the official site. The change my address site is misleading. Once I was done with my change of address information I out in my credit card info to be charged a 1.00 as I have changed my address before. I checked my bank account and see that I was charged $79.95. no where on the website said I would be charged anything especially $79.95.

On April, 3,2020 I filled out a change of address online. I stupidly thought I was filling it out with the post office. Instead I actually filled it out with changemypostaladdress.com. I am elderly, not very computer savvy and honestly did not realize I filled it out with these people till I saw the charge on my credit card for $49.95. I did not even know what it was for. I have gone to their site. They promise complete satisfaction or your money back. I filled out the form explaining my situation. I submitted it and it said a sales representative would be in touch with me shortly. I did this 4 days in a row. I have heard nothing! I admit stupidity but I cannot afford this as I am on a fixed income. I told them this. Please help me get my $49.95 back! Thank you

I had to leave my residence in CA because of COVID-19. I was simply trying to temporarily change my address. This site does not say that it will be charging $60(!!!!!) for a TEMPORARY address change! This is absolutely ridiculous! I want a full refund.

Submitted a change of address through them, stated they would submit through USPS for the $1.00 charge, ended up being charged $59.95 on my bank statement! NO WHERE on site is this fee mentioned. Why is this on the top of the Google search, I typed in USPS address change, this should not have even shown up!! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!
Request and immediate refund!!

I went online to change my address. It looked like a legit site, I filled in all my info and it then asked for a credit card to “confirm” my identity. It said nothing about a charge although I’d expect to confirm the charge before purchase. I used my credit card at first which got denied. I did it a second time because I thought it was strange. I then used my debit card which went thru. I found out I had a charge on my credit card of $49.95 from this website as well as on my debit card. I disputed the charge with my credit card no problem, however it seems to be a problem with BBT. It costs $1.05 too ok change your address, not $49.95. I have been disputing this transaction with my bank but I’m having trouble.

I went to what I thought was USPS Change of Address website. I was only supposed to be charged $1.05 but was charged $59.95. I'm very upset about this! We are already going through enough in this country and some of us are facing economic challenges and I don't appreciate being overcharged. This need to be corrected immediately!!!!

I was led to believe via this website I would be charged $1.05 to change my address and now there is a $59.95 charge in my card.

Customer Response • Apr 21, 2020

Good morning again ***. I glimpsed the email and thought it was the cancellation, what it actually is, is the transaction. However, Espinelda stated to me that she was voiding the transaction and it would take maybe 3-5 business days to go back into my account. She stated she was sorry and that they would still process my change of address for free of charge. The charge was pending in my account and after speaking with Espinelda this morning around 6:40am and she voided, I didn’t see it pending anymore. Hopefully it’s clear and won’t come back up because she voided it while it was pending. If it does I will wait to see if it goes back into the account and if not I will try calling them again to advise and if that doesn’t work, will definitely follow up. Thank you so much for all of your help and quick response. God bless and stay safe.

Due to COVID-19, I temporarily relocated and needed to change my address. I navigated to this website, which was advertised as an official USPS change-of-address webpage. After filling out the change-of-address form and consenting to a $1.05 charge, the website charged my credit card $59.95, and my mail has not been forwarded to my new address. The website advertises a "no questions asked" refund policy, but does not provide directions to submit refund claims. I believe that this is a fraudulent company, exploiting the high volume of individuals hastily relocating as a result of the pandemic. I have disputed the website's transaction and reported it as fraud with my credit card company.

I went on their website to change our address and I thought it was an official USPS site and when I completed the address change there was not confirmation of the amount charged and so I immediately called them. They charged my bank account $78 without my consent for an unknown service. I said no to all of their promotional items and was ONLY asking for the address change. While I was on the phone with the lady from "India" she kept trying to trick me into authorizing purchases and she disclosed that they charged me that amount but would refund it. I finally got out of her that they charge $1.95 for the address change and I told her that is ALL they are authorized to charge. She continued to say she would set me up on the no call list for an additional $8.95 per month! I refused this charge and said they are ONLY allowed to charge a ONE time charge of $1.95 for the address change. She tried to get off of the phone but I insisted she stay on the line while I checked my account. They did take the $79.95 and while on the phone she reversed it and put the $1.95 only on my account. If I had not checked they would have taken this money and would be hitting my account monthly with no disclosing this to me at the time of the address change!
