Change My Postal Address Reviews (%countItem)

This website charged for a change of address without indicating the amount of the charge anywhere that I saw, also without providing any kind of confirmation notification of the amount charged or a receipt by email. I thought I was changing my address with USPS for a nominal fee, not consenting to a $39.99 charge. The website charged my card this amount, which I only learned upon checking my credit card statement. If pricing information was provided somewhere at all, it was not immediately clear or accessible as I progressed through the form and payment steps. This practice of charging without clearly indicating the price or providing a receipt is deceptive. Had I seen the amount prior to being charged, I would have realized I was on the wrong website and redirected.

I was charged 39.95 to change my address thinking this was the USPS. The cost was not clearly stated prior to completing the process and submitting. There is no contact information on the website and fine print offers a full refund; no questions asked if not satisfied but I have no way of contacting them.

I thought I had gone to the actual USPS website to change my address. I thought I was getting charged $1 for the change. I got charged $39.95! I wasn't told the total prior to paying, nor afterwards. I checked my account and FREAKED out. I've tried to get in touch with them, but there is no phone number. I emailed them asking for a refund. I have yet to hear a response. I am HIGHLY upset as this was extremely misleading. Shame on them!

I submitted a change of address online which I believed to be the United Postal Service and was charged a $39.99 fee. I'm high upset because I thought I would've been charged a $1 fee. Please help me get my refund, thank you!

They posed as being a part of the Postal Service. The price of the "product" was not disclosed. They then charged me $79.95.

I was trying to have my address with the USPS. The site said it needed credit card number to verify my identity which would only cost $1. A charge for $80 appeared on my bank statement.

I was charged $39 that I never authorized. I want a refund. The website has no customer service phone number

This is obviously a scam. I got charged $40 as their website makes it look like they are either a service provided by USPS or affiliated with them. They do not disclose the cost of the service, but repeatedly state that USPS will charge $1. There is no way to contact them besides leaving a note through a "contact us" page, there business cannot be located, and there was no contact number of the company provided on the internet or to my bank through their information system in relation to the transaction. This is obviously a useless "middle man" scam made to dupe people into paying someone to change their address for them, posing as a USP service. Why this website was the top link on bing and google instead of the actual official USPS website is beyond me. I feel like an it. Apparently the Revdex.com has gotten complaints that this scam company doesn't even change the address. Please do something about this.

put in US postal service and this comes up looking like form you have fill for mail service
Today got charged 79.95 by this website
No one will respond
There is no Phone #
SCAM
and I am unemployed trying to move

I was charged $39.95 from this business (Change my postal address.com) for services that was not delivered. I needed to change and redirect the mail to my new address so I googled usps for the change of address, found the website, typed in my information and used my credit card for payment I was looking to make sure that it was done. It wasn't I knew it was only a dollar but then I looked at my back statement and the charge for was 39.95! It does not confirm payment or how much I was paying before they confirm purchase. I have tried to reach out on their website but NO ANSWER. I and nothing was done. I tried to contact the company but with no success. Change my postal address is deceitful, deceptive and misleading and I want my money back for the 1 dollar service THAT WAS NOT DONE AND NOW DONT KNOW WHERE MY MAIL IS.

The website falsely appears to be the United States postal service website. I was attempting to change my address to my new house. Also, it grossly overcharged me for a service that I was attempting to do at the United States postal service website for $1. The website is charging me $39.95.

Change my postal address is a scam. I want to cancel my transaction and they do not provide a phone number for me to even be able to contact them

I went on this website to change my address it is false advertising stating that it is a part of the United States Postal Service is what it is that is not when you go to pay the fee it doesn’t tell you how much it is. I assumed it was the dollar cost because that’s what I’ve oaid in the past. When I realized That it was not in fact the United States Postal Service website I searched for a number to call to speak to a customer service representative and there wasn’t one I’ve emailed their contact us portion of the website about four times and have gotten no reply. I don’t have the funds to be out $40 on a scam website so I would like a refund and I have no way of contacting this company please help

I attempted to change my address with this company and was scammed into being charged $39.95 for a service that wont be performed.

I ASKED MY 17 YR OLD DAUGHTER TO CHANGE MY MAILING ADDRESS FOR ME. SHE GOOGLED ADDRESS CHANGE USPS AND CLICKED ON THE FIRST LINK THINKING SHE WAS ON THE USPS WEBSITE AND PROCEEDED TO FILL IN ALL THE INFO AND UNKNOWN TO HER PAID 39.95 TO HAVE MY ADDRESS CHANGED WHEN USPS DOES IT FOR $1
THERE IS NO CONTACT INFO OTHER THAN THE OPTION TO EMAIL THEM BACK TO RECEIVE A REFUND AND MY BANK WONT LET ME DISPUTE IT AS UNAUTHORIX\ZED BC SHE ENETERED MY CARD INFO AND I NN\EED THAT MONEY BACK AND WANT TO KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT DOING SO

I was searching for the USPS site to change my address and came across this web site. They ask you for your credit card information but do not tell you how much. I was charges almost 40.00$. The USPS charges 1.00$ for this service. I have not been able to find a phone number or any contact info for them. I have sent emails on their webpage with no response. I now have to change all of my personal info and cards. I called my bank to let them know and help me dispute this charge. This website is a scam and should be shut down. I am a college student with not a lot of money. Trying to change an address to move home. Please help!!

I went to what I thought was the USPS website to change my address. I knew the charge was $1. I completed the information but didn't receive a confirmation. The next day I checked my bank account and $39.90 had been drafted out of my account by this website. I investigated further and found that this address is so closely related to the actual USPS website that many people have been scammed by them. There is no visible price listed so you feel safe that you're only being charged $1 by the post office. I would like a refund of the amount charged. I still don't know if my address has been changed.

Website is taking over USPS address change link, ended up paying $39.95 vs $1.00 at the original USPS website. This should be blacklisted as a fraudulent company.

I needed to changes my address so I googled address change and clicked on a link that read "USPSChange of Address | Standard US Form." I completed the form and entered my card information. The site never told me how much I would be charged and I didn't worry because I've changed my address multiple times in the past, and it only costs $1.
This time I made a mistake and was not actually entering my information on the USPS website, but a thrid party instead. I paid $39.95 for a $1 service, and they screwed it up!! My mail is being forwarded too early and now I won't recieve christams packages in time, because they were sent to a different state. This business should be shut down. It is taking advantage of customers need for convenience and speed and using a similair layout and color scheme to the USPS website to defraud US citizens.

I used this website to update my fiance's address to our new home address. First, this company is misleading on their webpage. Second, they do not tell you 1) the amount that they will charge you, and 2) that it would be any more than the customary $1 charge. Once you enter your credit card information and click the next button, I assumed there would be an additional page that would tell you the total they're going to charge your card--because how could a company charge your card without disclosing the amount? It is an abhorrent (and I'm surprised it's not criminal) business practice. My statement has a $39.95 charge to update a USPS address that appears as "US Mail Update Address."

I plan on disputing this with my credit card company and filing a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General. Without being well versed in Pennsylvania consumer protection laws, I'm assuming this would also be in violation of Pennsylvania's Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection laws, as well as the Federal Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
