At this time, I have been contacted directly by National Grid USA regarding complaint ID [redacted] , however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: They have not taken steps to resolve it They do not care about endangering the life of an infant They will only respond to problems after the fact, after there has been explosions or death They don't care about prevention Since they have a monopoly in NYC for natural gas, they don't have to care They just care about collecting your money Sincerely, Henry L**

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:they were unresponsive and unreachable for weeks at a time From the date that our gas was turned off (WITH NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER) to the time it was restarted took almost weeks WEEKS without a hot shower, dryer, washing dishes Entire weeks went by without any communication from the company The only reason things got moving is because we brought it to the attention of Senior executives in corporate relations Yes we now have gas restored but it was ridiculous how long it took and how ineffective the communication between departments was If this had happened in winter, would they leave a customer in the cold for weeks? We sent a serviceperson to the location on November **, and the gas services was found on but the gas was turned off behind the stove The service person opened the T-valve behind the stove

Spoke with customer about setting up an appointment to have remote devices installed on This will resolve the issue of customer receiving estimate billsAlso will refund all non-access fees on the account once remote device is installed

Tell us why here Beginning March **,2017, Robert Heiss, the customer of record with National Grid had some issues pertaining to the maintanence of the payments on the accountAt one time, the gas service had been interrupted and following a payment and the implementation of a payment agreement the Gas Service Dept within the utility was able to restore the service to the homeThat particular issue occurred at the end of April Each time a payment agreement is implemented on a customer's account, a written version is mailed to the mailing address in order for it to be signed and returned to the utility and kept on file In addition, if any changes or amendments are made to an agreement, the updated version is mailed as well This occurred in May and June of after the customer spoke with a Customer Service Representative At this time an active payment agreement is in place on the customer's account and the gas service remains intact

The customer sent on a payment that was posted on 9/ [redacted] of $ The refund request was processed on 9/**Customer called again on 10/ [redacted] and the customer rep put in a request to stop payment on original check and send a new one Today, 10/ [redacted] they just processed a new refund check which customer should have with work daysRegards National GridCustomer Service [redacted] *** If you have any questions or need additional information, please call Customer Service at ###-###-#### available Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or, for your convenience, visit us at www.nationalgridus.com

National Grid has made contact with this customer regarding the matter and we are in the process of addressing itWe have scheduled an appointment to change the meter at [redacted] ***'s residence free of charge so that moving forward she will start to receive bills that reflect her actual usageOnce the appointment is complete we will be able to see if any adjustments need to be made to [redacted] ***'s account
