Clear Credit Solutions Reviews (126)

Review: This company called my place of employment and left a detailed and threatening message on my voicemail. Not only did the message contain personal information, the automated message stated that a claim has come in their office under my name and social security name and that there are serious allegations against me. The message claimed this was the "pre-legal" department of Clear Credit Services and that I was being warned that failing to repsond to their message could result in legal action being filed against me. At no time did they announce themselves as a debt collector, nor did the call come in with any identification. It was only after I researched them did I find that they are in fact a debt collector. I do not appreciate the fact that they called and left this type of derogatory message at my work. Nor do I appreciate the use of scare tactics by the tone of their message and the implication of "serious allegations" and threatening legal action being filed. I have not received any written communication from this company or documentation on any "debt". Their behavior has violated my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop contacting me at work and above all adhere to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. These harrassing and threatening messages are not acceptable and I expect them to stop immediately.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: This complaint is being filed because I am concerned that I have been made victim of misrepresentation and that this company has taken my money (because I authorized it) and they have been very uncooperative in helping me find a resolution. I first started feeling this way because I was preparing for my records some 'Paid in Full' statements from companies that I had become delinquent with. I had called one of the companies that I was trying to request said information and they informed me that I still owed money to the company and that my account was in fact not resolved. I recalled my financial records and it stated that I paid a lump sum of $511.00 and remembered the call that I had received from this company. The call itself was left as a voicemail and the gentlemen on the phone said that he would be sending me a court summons if I didnt call to resolve this matter before a certain date. In a panic and being scared I called back instantly and tried to get this matter resolved. The same voice that left the voicemail answered and read me a line of information and then connected me with another man that took my debit card information and I set up a payment plan to try to resolve the delinquency that I had been in. Flashing forward to when I tried to get the documentation that stated I was paid in full the company told me that I had not paid anything. I then called 'Clear Credit Solutions' and I was forwarded to a man who said he was in his car and was not at 'the office' and he would call me back once he was. The gentlemen didnt return my call nor did he take my phone number for a "return call." I waited a few hours and called again, got a voicemail, left a message with my name and phone number to be called back. A few hours back I received a call from a gentlemen stating that he was forwarded my phone call to talk to me about the charges. I asked the gentlemen if he could tell me what the account was that I had paid of and he stated that he did not have that information but he had "an account number" but no account information. When I asked if he could send me a receipt for my charges, the gentlemen sent me a word document that had seemingly just been typed up and for an amount that was incorrect, though I paid $511.00 (as per my bank statements) the receipt was for $510.00 I am not pleased with the service that I have gotten, I am not pleased with the fact that my money was taken because I was threatened into giving my money to this company and I am not pleased that there is "no access to my account information" so that I have no idea what I paid for.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. I would also appreciate if a company would not give me a 'run around' and be straight forward. I also don't believe that its right to 'threaten' individuals to give you money no matter the case.

Review: This company originally called looking to collect on a debt that was in my husband's name. They said they would take him to court. I explained we were separated and that they would need to contact him, but I was willing to put some of my student loan money down to keep him out of court. The agreement was to pay $1000 at the end of June, but I called and made arrangements to split the payment up into three payments of $333.33. This was dependent on if my husband gave me the money from his 401k to cover those payments. This was communicated to [redacted] and made very clear to her. She understood and said I should call back if anything changed. Either June 30th or July 7th I found out my husband had spent all the 401k money. I called [redacted] to let her know I could not make the payments for my husband (who I've been separated from for over a year now). She said no problem, she would make a summons to take him to court, and then transferred me to cancel the payments. I was transferred to a man who was very upset that I was canceling the payments. But, he knew I was cancelling the payments. He then hung up on me. I called [redacted] back to let her know what had happened and she did not transfer me. She stated she was already looking for him to serve him.

July 31st a debit of $333.33 under braclaire management came out of my account. I called the company, spoke with [redacted] and the man who had hung up on me reminding them that I had cancelled these payments. They claimed to never remember me doing so, said that I had called to set up the payments. Then I was told it was a misunderstanding. Really?! The call to cancel payments was not a short phone call and involved two people, one of which I had a very long drawn out conversation with ([redacted]). I called the bank and filed a claim against the charges. No one answered, so I left a message on [redacted] voicemail reminding her once again of the long conversation we had about the 401k money not begin given to me which made it impossible for me to pay my husband's debt. I have not heard from anyone since.Desired Settlement: I want the $333.33 back in my account and my number removed from their call list.

Review: Agreement was made on an account with Original creditor Insight to accept payment of 480.00. Now [redacted] proceeds to tell me I owe another 480.oo on another account. I have a paper which was sent to me per email from this business stating upon clearance of funds this is paid in full. Now he proceeds to tell me he told me of this other and he was doing me a favor to keep this out of court. I am scared I was scammed and I called to ask for a pd in full receipt and he gives me this line. He was very rude and even told me to put a sock in my mouth. When I called this time, they answered the phone hello. A business should Identify themselves.

Response:

The following is in response to complaint number [redacted]. An investigation has been completed by my office and the findings are as follows:

• The consumer did indeed take a payment of $480.00 to satisfy the first account and we did send her a Paid in Full letter.

• The consumer does have another outstanding loan in the amount of $480.00.

• The loans are from the same lender but they were taken out on two separate occasions using two separate bank accounts to secure the loans.

• These two loans also defaulted on separate dates.

Our associate did not use the best customer service skills while communicating with the consumer and for that he has been written up

Review: This company continues to contact me about an account I have no knowlege of. Theybkeep stating I owe money but fail to provide nessasary documents that show proof. They sent me an invoive via email that has a address of a po box in newyork at s ups store. When I ask them questions the hang up

Review: Harassing phone calls demanding payment for unknown debt. Told to stop calling and still receiving threats of court action and that they are coming to my home.Desired Settlement: Stop the harassment

Business

Response:

The following is in response to complaint number [redacted]. An investigation has been completed by my office and the findings are as follows.

The first communication with the consumer was on June 6, 2014. The consumer agreed to a settlement and said he would call back. No call back was received and consumer was contacted again on June 11, 2014. An agreement was set up at this time. A 1 Part Settlement in Full (SIF) letter was emailed at this time. Consumer claims that he never received the email so it was resent on June 24,2014. On June 30, 2014, the payment on file was ran and there were insufficient funds available. On July 2, 2014 consumer was contacted and was argumentative.

Call was disconnected. At no time have we received a cease and desist letter from the consumer. As of today, July 14, 2014,we have closed this account. Our belief is that there is no intent by the consumer to make any payment s to our company

Review: For the last few months I have received recorded voicemails and automated phone calls threatening me with legal action if I do not comply with their demands immediately. Not only have I been harassed with multiple calls, Clear Credit Solutions, LLC has also contacted my friends and family with these same types of communication. A couple of weeks ago when Clear Credit Solutions, LLC called my best friend and left her a voice message with my name and the threats of criminal charges, my attorney contacted Clear Credit Solutions, LLC and told the employee of Clear Credit Solutions, LLC that he was violating the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. My attorney told him that he had his one telephone call and that he was not to call me or anyone else again. My attorney also instructed the employee that further communications should be made through him.

Earlier today I received the same threatening voicemail that is repeatedly left on my phone. Shortly after I received the voicemail, I received a text from my best friend with a voicemail from Clear Credit Solutions, LLC threatening me again with criminal action.

Not only are they threatening me with criminal action, but they are purporting to be a legal firm. They have violated several laws and need to be held accountable for their actions.Desired Settlement: Clear Credit Solutions, LLC, and/or any other name they use, is clearly a scam and needs to be held accountable for its actions, punished and not allowed to do business in the states where they are continuously violating laws and harassing people.

Review: I am getting calls daily from Clear Credit Solutions, LLC. they threatened me with serving me with seal documentations for defrauding a financial institution and committing check fraud. They are representing them selves as a legal firm and said they have my name, address and SSN. They said the call was in accordance with Federal and TX state laws. It's different people calling from different numbers. They are also calling my place of employment, I called them and asked they don't call me at work any more and the man ([redacted]) was rude wouldn't let me talk to explain he just keep telling me they would be coming to get me. I also get calls telling me that they will show up at my work and speak to my supervisor and if I'm not there they will go to my house and speak with my neighbors or relatives, they know my home address. They will not give me the information of the company they are trying to collect for.Desired Settlement: I want the threatening calls to stop, they can not scare people into thinking someone will show up at their work or home. And the lies need to stop they can not come get you and throw in jail for unpaid debt you have.

Review: Rep called my home and told my mother that he was a process server and needed her to tell him my cell number and location so that he could serve me papers to appear in court. Called the number and got the rep stating he was a collection agent. He was so ugly to my mother and then trying to get private information out of her. In Florida, the process server doesn't try to call you until they have at least attempted to serve you at your house. Uncalled for.Desired Settlement: I want them to never contact me again and to close my account with their office.

Review: I have debit card set up for auto payment with this company. I kindly requested to have the auto payment stopped and the employee refused to take me off. He was very unprofessional and accused me of avoiding payment and threatened me with a lawsuit. All I wanted to do was take auto pay off and make payments manually but the employee wouldn't let me talk, yelled over me and refused to stop the auto pay.Desired Settlement: To have my debit card taken off auto pay and to make payments manually.

Review: I continually receive calls from this entity saying that I owe a $300 payday loan taken out in 2011 to which I now owe over $2600 due to late charges, fees, etc. I was in bankruptcy at that time and was unable to take out a payday loan. I explained this to the person on the phone and they keep calling my workplace. I do not have nor have I ever received paperwork saying I owed any money. The person indicated that it was on my credit report and I have access to all 3 reports on a regular basis and it is not on my report. Clearly they have my home and work addresses but have at no time sent any papers saying that I owe anyone. I have contacted an attorney about this issue and they think that it may be a scam. Given that I never seem to get any proof that I owe the debt, I want them to stop calling my place of employment for a debt they seem to want to provide no papers or bill saying I owe. I did take a payday loan in prior years to which they were included in the bankruptcy. The name of the lender that this company gave did not match the name of any vendor I had used or filed under my Chapter 7.Desired Settlement: Either send me an itemization of who and what I supposedly owe or stop contacting me.

Response:

This is in regards to complaint ID# [redacted] I have just received this complaint and my department has done an investigation. This is what we have determined and what we are going to do to remedy the situation.

First, the consumer will no longer receive any communications from our company as we have closed the account. The associate involved has been brought into my office along with the Floor Manager and we have talked about the complaint and the allegations that it contains. As this is not the first time this associate has had a complaint it has been decided to put her on a 1(one) week unpaid suspension and upon her return upper management will make a decision as to whether or not her employment will continue with our company. In the event that her employment would continue with us, she would first be required to go through a complete retraining process that would include FDCPAIUDAAP as well as customer service and our company's policies and procedures. In the event that this training and the subsequent testing that would be administered would not be satisfactory to my office, the associate would be terminated.

Please extend my apologies to the consumer regarding this incident. We do not condone what has been done and we train and monitor all of our employees and hold them to very high standards.

Review: I got a call from the Clear Credit Solutions, LLC. they threatened me with serving me with a summons to go to court and jail. Defrauding a financial institution. They are representing them selves as a legal firm, and stating that they can have me put in jail. They are not allowed to say that period and I did give my information to them and my card information to them, but I ask that they not take any thing out of my account since they promised a letter and a email giving me the information on the company. They are extorting money of people and they are representing them selves as a legal office. They are not accredited with Revdex.com and they have a lot of complaints against them. I would like them to stop harassing me and misrepresenting them selves.Desired Settlement: I want them to be put out of business and not allowed to continue extorting money out of people. And I want them to pay me emotional suffering, and stress from their representative. And maybe then they will learn that they can not go around telling people that they are a legal firm, as they were telling me. They also wont give the name of the representative to let you know who did this.

Review: I was contacted by this company because they are a debt collector and were looking to collect a debt from me. Theresa Lucero stated that I took out a payday loan On May 2013 and that the company they are representing tried to retrieve the money from my bank accouant and it didn't go through. This company asked me would I like to settle this in Court or Settle it through them. I asked them who was the loan through and how much? They stated that I already knew what the loan was for and should have the contract in my email and that I am responsible for the loan. I explained to them that I would not pay anything out to them until I was completly sure that this loan in fact was mine. I requested documentationf providing proof that I owed this money. All that was sent was a bill for $390.00 on Clear Credit Collections. I was then advised that I should resolve this issue now before my file is released to their legal department. I explained to her again that I needed some type of proof that this was my loan.Desired Settlement: I would first like them to stop contacting me and Harrasing me.

Review: Since July 2014, I've rec'd calls from ten (10) companies, namely [redacted] (later identified through letter as Clear Credit Solutions), all in regards to a payday loan stemming from [redacted] in 2012/2013. When my phone rang today, I was speaking with [redacted]. He put me on hold, and then hung up. I called back and spoke with [redacted], who advised that there was a loan in the amount of Nov. 24, 2012 for $300. I explained to [redacted] that I had been through this several times, and that I had verification from my bank that no money was deposited into my account. He told me that he would have to forward this to my county for an appearance in court. I advised [redacted] that this was an ongoing issue. He put me on hold, and then hung up. I called back and spoke with a supervisor named [redacted], who gave me an acct. number and reference number. I advised [redacted] that this was the same account number, as well as the same amount and same date that I was given during a collection call on Jan. 14 from Legal Services. [redacted] advised that the only was to clear up the confusion was for me to make a payment. He then told me that the amount was only $435, not $1435 as [redacted] originally told me, and that I could pay a small amount of $200 to have it cleared. He advised that information had previously been forwarded to me via email. I advised that it had not been received. Gave him my work email (a law firm). He called back to say that the email had been forwarded. I never rec'd. Gave him my fax number, and rec'd only a letter stating that the company was authorized to accept a $200 payment. That's when I saw that Great Lakes was Clear Credit Solutions. [redacted] had also stated that he represented [redacted], which was the same company that Legal Services represented (phone call of 1/14/2015). There were no funds deposited into my personal checking account during the time period that [redacted] advised.Desired Settlement: I would like these companies to stop contacting me, and threatening legal action. I've received multiple calls, and have proof that there was no money deposited into my account. I would like these accounts closed and for these threatening calls to stop.

Review: this company has already been advised to send a validation letter to my pob listed to date I have not received anything tangible showing I owe a debt today I received a detailed message on cell phone vm regarding debt and importance of call them back. I will be sending a cease and desist letter to company today. I have told them over and over to stop calling me, neighbors, friends and family memebers.Desired Settlement: whatever the law provides

Review: I have been receiving calls from this company everyday, sometimes twice a day, stating that I owe money for a loan, which I did not take out any loan, and do not owe anyone money never heard of this company. Today a lady named [redacted] called, it was not a recording it was a actual person on my voicemail stating that if I don't contact them the case will be forwarded to courts which I live for check fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud and other charges. She left a number for me to call back which was [redacted] but what's funny is they have the same address as Delware Soluntions which also have been leaving recordings on my phone about the same thing and the number they are leaving is [redacted] BOTH addresses are [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like for them to stop HARASSING ME, and leaving harassing phone calls trying to extort money for a loan that I never took out, or owe. I would also like from them to send me a letter of apology for the harassment, and state that I don't owe and has never owed them any money.

Review: I received a call from them and the person was very rude; basically told me I was stupid and she couldn't believe I didn't know what she was talking about; she threatened me and told me she was issuing a summons on me; she was notifying my employer, and the court. When I asked what agency this was and to send me some info in writing she refused, it was a waste of her time and said she was issuing a summons because I wasn't responding. I asked if this was a collection agency and she hung up on me. I called back the number that had just called and spoke with another person. I told her I wanted the name and address of the company and she would not give me that info. I told her about the previous call and I was filing a complaint. She said "sorry" and I didn't need to file a complaint she would take care of it. I asked if this was a collection agency and she told me NO she was a litigation specialist and needed a statement from me now and promise to pay. She said their client refused to deal with me and I had to take care of this through Clear Credit Solutions. She finally emailed me a "Settlement Agreement" and needed my credit card information to take my payment. She insisted she needed this info in order to stop legal action.Desired Settlement: Do not call me at work or home. Remove me/my records from their files. I do not deal with collection agencies and will contact any original creditor to resolve any issue I MAY have.
