Review: I received a call today from this company requesting to speak with my husband, [redacted]. I advised this was not his phone number, but advised the caller I would take his number and pass it on to him. I also asked that he remove my phone number from his file because this is not the correct number to reach him at. He told me he would not remove the number until he spoke with my husband and then hung up the phone while I was still talking. This is clearly a violation of FDCPA, the number he is calling on is my cell phone and I never gave permission for my cell phone to be called by this company, not only that, I have no account with this company and do not want to get calls from them.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to close whatever account they do have and to stop contacting me. I would also like for them to train their employees on how to properly conduct business.

Review: This company contacted me and the first person I spoke to was nice and then someone else got on the phone didnt introduce himself and when I said I was waiting for the first guy "[redacted]" to get back he had placed me on hold and he had already been dealing with my matter he was rude cutting me off and telling me what I should of done with my issues and subliminally calling me stupid. I felt backed into a corner and had to hurry and pay them in the next couple of weeks the full amount. He also told me I would be charged at least 1000 if it was taken to my county this immediately stressed me out and anxiety was all over the place so I just wanted to do anythign to pay it. He then sent over a settlement letter that I didnt agree to pay for the whole amount. I told him I couldnt pay it and he made it seem like I couldnt pay it over time it had to be done in a shot or two or their client wouldnt like it. So then I was faced with the option of in the next month pay everything I owed which was from 4 years ago and that I thought I already dealt with. I then asked for my settlement letter to be sent over and never received it. Then the first payment comes around [redacted] calls me and takes the payment and I ask for a receipt to be sent to me. I never received it. I called [redacted] 2 days in a row and never received a response then I went back to look in my mailbox for the original receipt I received for the email address and now that receipt is all changed into symbols and cant be read. My original account number is 166137528 and that is the only thing on the whole paper that can be read. I am contacting a lawyer and calling the county number that called me and asking about this. I feel scammed and threatened into paying something I wasnt financially capable.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop calling me and I want my refund. I am beyond stressed and mentally exhausted with scammers. When I saw all the fradulent activity this company has done I immediatley panicked. They have my account numbers and I will be changing those immediately.

Review: I received a voicemail from an unknown # (no call or missed call, only voicemail when my cell phone was on and in range of service( was actually using it)) the person leaving the voicemail stated he was with California Legal Services and that he would be serving me some summons between 3 and 5 pm today and that if I wasn't there a bench warrant could be issued for my arrest. He didn't leave a # to call him back at, but said I could call the law firm (this company isn't a law firm from what I have found, but a debt collection company) ccs, llc (did not say clear credit solutions) at [redacted] and that I could ask them for copies of the information that he would be serving me with. I called the #, they answered, Law Firm CCS... I hung up... they called me back (caller ID?) I spoke to a gentleman who said that I owed money from a pay day loan in December of 2011. I told him I was not aware of any outstanding loans from 2011, and that I have not received ANY calls in regards to this before getting the message that I was going to be served. He offered to email me a copy of the original documents showing that I do owe this money. I agreed to get the email and he said I would have 24 hours to get back to him to discuss a settlement. What was emailed to me DID NOT SHOW PROOF OF THE LOAN! It is titled SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT, had the clear credit solutions letterhead.... but only had the company name address and fax number on it and an empty line where a phone # would normally be (this is the same on the PDF sent along with the email) I find that very odd, why wouldn't a business have their company phone number on their letterhead or email signatures. The information about the loan stated it was from SGQ processing and gave this information as the original loan SSN: [redacted] Bank: US Bank Account Number:[redacted] Loan Amount: $350.00 Open Date: December 2011 If I did infact take out a loan from this company the Open Date would be an EXACT DATE not a month and year only. I believe this is a scam and I do not owe this company any money. I believe this company is finding information on old payday loan applications and trying to get me to pay on a loan I either did not take out or have already paid off. I have dealt with a number of people trying to get me to pay them for loans I did not take out. I am very skeptical of this and unless the company can submit complete indisputable proof that I owe money from a payday loan from SGQ processing (which I could find no info in any of my emails about and the bank account # they referenced has been closed for years) I would like this company to stop contacting me and get rid of all the personal information they have about me.Desired Settlement: I am very skeptical of this and unless the company can submit complete indisputable proof that I owe money from a payday loan from SGQ processing (which I could find no info in any of my emails about and the bank account # they referenced has been closed for years) I would like this company to stop contacting me and get rid of all the personal information they have about me.

Review: Received a phone call from and [redacted], stating that I was going to be served with papers and that I needed to be at my address(he had my correct address) with 2 forms of ID or to call a number to get it resolved. So I called the number and Spoke to a [redacted] and she stated that she was speaking on behalf of Cash Call and that they could settle my loan for 50% if I could pay at the end of the month. I agreed. Then something did not sit well with me so I called Cash Call and they said that they had never heard for that company and they do not work with a third party. The lady form Clear Credit Solutions was aggressive. They also called my husband and told them about my debit which I thought that they could not give information out to anyone. I researched both Clear Credit and Cash Call and there are a lot of lawsuits against them. I'm not sure who to believe.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to stop harrassing me and my family.

Review: I was contacted by this company today about a supposed debt. They left me a voicemail that did not sound legitimate. I called them back and not only was the man rude but he was not offering accurate information. He could not answer my questions directly besides telling me I was to appear in court at 2.00. He did not have my correct information and wanted me to tell him all my current info which I did because he was threatening to have a uniformed officer come to my job or residence and this was before I even gave him information. I also was coaxed into giving my credit card information to avoid jail and other charges. The whole seemed fishy. Also when u asked for there contact information they were hesitant to do it and they couldn't say it right off the bat. I see from this website similar issues what they did is not right. I also called the company who I owed the debt they had pressed no charges and knew nothing about this credit solution llcDesired Settlement: Do not call my family or me again

Review: On 2/25/15, a rep from this company contacted my ex husband advising him that a warrant was being issued for my arrest in Dallas County for Theft of Goods. Through the conversation the rep went on to give my ex-husband my past address and past personal information. After receiving this information I contacted Clear Credit Solutions and spoke to Floor Sup. [redacted], I requested the fax # and physical address and I was denied the address, but given the fax #. I called back about 10 times and on every call I was hungup on, on the last call I was called a rd and [redacted] on. I called again and spoke to a senior rep by the name of [redacted] Nation and again denied the address to the company.Desired Settlement: Cease all contact with me or any other listed on the account assigned to them and have original creditor to contact me.

Review: I received a recorded message in my voice mail stating the company name of Clear Credit Solutions and informing me to return the call due to an important issue and if I do not return the call this can result in legal action. No information was provided in regards to any reason for the call. The recorded message stated they have my name and social security number and a claim was made against me. I have no idea what they are referring to and have left them a message to return a call to me as well as requested information regarding the call via their website. I think the voice mail was inappropriate and don't understand how a company I have never heard of can call consumers threatening legal action and not even state against what or how they received your information. After I received the voice mail I went online and conducted my own research. I did find a company and left a email message but I also found several scram alerts regarding the same company and calls received from the same number which contacted me [redacted] If there is any debt in which I owe I am more then willing to clear the debt with payment. But I don't even know if this is the reason for their call. By researching and finding their website I found the were a debt collection agency. I don't want to be part or a scam. This has happened to me before and I was never able to recover my funds from a call stating they were a debt collection agency and request payment now and will send me information regarding the account after they received payment. They never sent any information nor was I ever able to get in contact with them again even after reporting them to the bureaus.Desired Settlement: If this is a scam I want them to be stopped! I do not want them contacting me again.

If this is in regards to a debt I do owe I want a chance to clear the debt and think there should be held responsible in some way regarding the threats being made.

Review: Clear Credit Solutions have called me several times over the past couple of weeks. They have also called my friend, [redacted] The message they leave her is the same as me, and addresses her as "[redacted]" and proceeds to identify the purpose of their call, which is debt collection, and leaves my file number. I have no idea how they got her number, and I believe it's highly unethical and potentially illegal to disclose my debt to her. They also identify themselves as the "pre-legal" department and if I don't respond immediately, my file will be sent out and further action will be taken against me. I have attempted to call the number back which they leave me, and everytime I'm taken right to voice mail. I left them a message that they were to not call my friend's number ever again, and I requested documentation of the debt be sent to me. Today, they called my friend again. This has to stop, and Clear must be made to realize this violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.Desired Settlement: I wish all telephone communication to both me and my friend to stop. I request a written verification of the debt which they are collecting and the original debtor's name.

Review: This company has "robo" called me over and over. Threats of jail. When voice mail starts, it says " This is for......" No name of course!! Says that if I do not respond. I will go to prison!! With the dozens of complaints filed, why are they not being held accountable? Oh and I live on the west coast, no where near this scam business!!Desired Settlement: This needs to stop!! These people are scamming people out of their money!!

Review: Mr. [redacted] called my cell phone, my employer, and my relatives. During these calls, Mr. [redacted] violated my rights by sharing information with people other than me about an alleged debt. When speaking with me, Mr. [redacted] claimed he had personal information about me - bank account numbers, social security number, etc - and claimed that he is not required to validate this debt because he had this information. I felt threatened by Mr. [redacted]'s attitude about his knowledge of my personal information, especially bank account information.

Mr. [redacted] used verbal abuse, calling me a liar when I explained to him that I do not have any outstanding debt with the original creditor in question.

In the past, I have received numerous phone calls from this company, and I have repeatedly asked for written validation of debt, of which I have received none. The phone calls will stop for a period of time, and then they start calling friends, family, and my employer again. I have, as allowed by law, asked them to stop contacting me except by written mail (to validate debt). I have explicitly asked them not to call my employer. Furthermore, my relatives have asked them to stop any contact to them. I must assume, since they continue the phone calls but will not provide the requested validation or other communication via mail, that this company is not trying to collect on a legitimate debt, and is instead trying to bully me into paying them money to get them to stop the phone calls.Desired Settlement: I do not want to be contacted by this company, nor do I want them to contact friends, relatives, or my employer.

Review: This collection effort was first made known to me by my ex-wife when Clear Credit Solutions (CCS) called her looking for me. This call came to her approximately one week ago. The woman she spoke with was a [redacted]. She told my ex-wife that I had taken out a “payday type of loan” through [redacted].

She informed my ex-wife that she was a co-signer on the loan and for that reason, if the debt were not paid, that she would be summoned to court because the debt belonged to her as well. She was also told that this would have a negative effect on her credit.

She told my ex-wife that they had tried to draft money out of my bank account (and somehow the CCS representatives with whom I have spoken do have the last four digits of my social security number and the last digits of my bank account number).

I did not take out a loan like this. I have certainly never done any business with [redacted]. I am checking the entire history of my bank account (with [redacted]) which was opened in October of 2009 and remains open still today. There were no unsuccessful attempts to make withdrawals from my account from a payday loan company or from [redacted].

She also told my wife that this loan was taken out in March of 2013, which would have been 3 months before we were married. My ex-wife knows she did not co-sign a loan with me before our wedding and I am sure I did not take out a loan through this company. The implication then seems to be that I forged or fraudulently used my wife's name in obtaining this supposed loan.

None of these things are true.

My ex-wife gave me the phone number of 844-310-1441 ext. 315 for Mrs. Howard.

I attempted to call this number approximately 4 times over the past week and was directed to voicemail where I left messages each time for [redacted].

On 1/7/2015 I received a call from another number (apparently also belonging to CCS) and spoke to a very pushy and rude associate who wanted me to make a payment to him over the phone immediately under the threat that I would be served with papers and sued in court. I explained my position and told him that I would need to see some validation of this "debt" before I would ever give someone, much less a stranger, my bank account number and/or my debit card number over the phone to pay off a "debt" that they would not even validate for me.

This man hung up on me saying if I wasn't going to pay my debt then I'm not going to pay... He then said that we would have to go to court and that his secretaries did not have time to be sending out letters verifying debts to people. He said all of this in an extremely loud and very agitated tone while all I was requesting was proof that I owe them any money at all.

I called back immediately and spoke to a much calmer associate at CCS ([redacted]) and requested from him validation of the debt or some kind of paperwork etc. to prove to me that this could somehow be my debt. He told me that he would send a letter to me giving me the relevant information but that they did not have a copy of the original contract (?). He was very up front about this with me and he said that what he was sending me was simply a summary of the amount owed, a settlement amount, and their in house account number.

In short he was sending me the information he had given me over the phone but in written form and I assume on company letterhead.

I also asked [redacted] if my ex-wife was a co-signer on this alleged loan and he said no, she was not, and that in fact her phone number had been removed as a contact person since we are now divorced. They had her number down only as my wife because our divorce was finalized only a few weeks ago (12-15-2015). They apparently call family members routinely to find a "debtor". But this tells me that the statement to my ex-wife by [redacted] about her being a co-signer and therefore also responsible for this supposed loan, was nothing more than a tactic to intimidate someone into paying.

[redacted] and I were innocently disconnected so I called back later that day and I spoke briefly to a woman who strangely could not find any record of me having any kind of account with CCS. She searched by my full legal name, by phone numbers past and present, by my addresses past and present, and she was still not able to find any account referencing me by name or by phone number. She told me that she would pass the information on to her manager and my name and my number would be flushed out of the system.

On 1/8/2015 at approximately 8:15 AM I answered a call from the 844-310-1441 number. It was [redacted]. She acted as if I had been avoiding her when my feeling was just the opposite. I told her about the different colleagues of hers at CCS with whom I had spoken over the previous 24 hours and what they had told me. I informed her that I knew what she had told my ex-wife about being a co-signer and I told her unequivocally that I did not owe this debt and that I certainly had never been presented with, by email or USPS, any kind of information about the debt, nor had there been any attempt to collect the debt that I was aware of. I also told [redacted] that I would not pay them their requested settlement because I do not know anything about CCS, nor do I even know that she is actually calling from CCS. I would need to receive some kind of official proof that that I owe them any money at all and that such a loan was ever procured by me.

At first [redacted] said that they would not send me any kind of proof of the debt. That the time for that had passed and now I needed to decide if I wanted to go to court and dispute the debt in front of a judge or did I want to pay it off right then and there over the phone. She went on to tell me that I and my ex-wife would be served and summoned to court, that I would have the expense of hiring a lawyer, as would my ex-wife, and did I want to go through that expense or simply pay the $500 something dollar settlement figure they keep mentioning.

Then I asked her why my ex-wife would be summoned to court. I told her that I had been told by one of her ([redacted]') colleagues that my ex-wife was not down as a co-signer but they had only contacted her to try and find me. I asked her why a person to whom I was not married at the supposed time that this loan was taken out; a person to whom I am no longer married; and since she was not a co-signer on the loan then why would she ever be summoned as a responsible party on this alleged loan?

Then [redacted] said that she was receiving an email (apparently at that very moment) stating that she would send me a letter by mail with all of the relevant information - exactly what I had been promised by [redacted] the day prior.

I pushed her on the question of why my ex-wife was told she was a co-signer and I asked [redacted] if she were a supposed co-signer. [redacted] refused to answer this question by saying she did not have that information (although only a few minutes before she told me that my wife was going to be legally served with a summons by a process server and summoned to court as a responsible party to this alleged debt).

I asked her again, very politely but a bit frustrated now, whether they were claiming that my ex-wife was a co-signer on this supposed loan or not. If she is not a co-signer then why would she be summoned to court? And if she is a co-signer then why, at the legal department of CCS, wouldn’t she ([redacted]) have that very information so that she could confirm or deny that to me.

She curtly told me that our conversation was ending now, that she would send me this letter with the figures on it and then she hung up on me.

[redacted] I do not have any information about the alleged dates on which this loan was taken, from whom, when it was due, etc. In fact Mrs Harris told my ex wife that the "loan" was through [redacted]. Mr Smith told me that the loan through Cash Advance Services (?) but [redacted] went on to tell me that he wouldn't know the actual name of the company who provided the loan. This all sound extremely fishy, especially when I know that I do not owe them this money.Desired Settlement: An original copy of a loan contract.

An apology here or in writing that I have been wrongly pursued by CCS and wrongly threatened by two associates of CCS with a law suit and, according to associates at CCS, a law suit in which I will not have the opportunity to see the evidence against me prior to going to trial.

Review: I was contacted by this company who left a voicemail on my cell phone stating they wanted to talk to me about a serious legal matter. They stated my name and gave me a 800 # and case number to provide when calling them back. I called them back after doing some research which pointed to the fact that this company is related to many payday loan scams. On my first call I spoke with [redacted] Love who say that it was indeed about a payday loan. I advised [redacted] that I have not had a payday loan and she quickly ended the call by hanging up on me. About 30 minutes later I received a call on my work phone and spoke to a different gentleman about the same matter. This person knew my name, address, phone numbers, social security number, place of employment and my bank account information. He also stated this was about a payday loan and states money was deposited into my account in May of 2013, obviously I knew this didn't happen but checked my bank records anyway and nothing was deposited except my normal pay checks. He was extremely rude and threatened court etc. I requested that he provide validation of the debt by mailing it to my home address and he continued to get angry and didn't want to comply. He also ended the call. According to many online complaints this company has been contacting random people to get money from them on fake debts. I am concerned with the fact that they have my information such as my social security number and my bank account information. They need to be stopped.Desired Settlement: I wish for this company to stop contacting me unless the debt is proven and to lose all of my personal information they have on file.

Review: Think they are scam artists.. Won't refund owed money and won't return calls.Desired Settlement: My money owed or class action lawsuit

I have recieved many call and so has my wife form this place. All different phone numbers and they say they are a law office collecting a debt I owe of 1500 for a payday loan I took out online in april of 2011. I never took such loan, they know my social and previous and current address and employer info. they stated if I dont pay they will see me in court and I will be facing jail time for debt fraud. yet they give me no solid info on who they are. THEY WONT STOP CALLING, IWANT TO TO STOP!!!!

Review: Clear Credit has been leaving voice mails on my cell phone for months insisting that they have a summons against me that they are trying to serve me. At times, they try to insist I must give a statement or they will file a claim against me immediately. When I speak to one of their representatives and insist they provide a written verification of debt, the calls stop for a few days but then they start up again. They have also called me at work and threatened to call HR/my supervisor.

As far as I know, leaving voice mails threatening legal action is a violation of the FDCPA.Desired Settlement: They are violating the FDCPA. They are making illegal threats against me. They are harassing me in the workplace. They need to stop.

Review: I m receiving threatening calls from this company. They're called my fiancé and sister stating I need to call them immediately. After reading reviews they're collection on payday loans which the only payday loan I took out online was from Cutter Group. I have paid this off and have a letter of satisfaction to prove that. I also have my bank statements to show that I have not received any other payday loan besides the above. Furthermore, there is a case opened with the FTC stating Cutter group is fraudulent and they cannot charge you for more than you owe!Desired Settlement: I have paid this in full and want them to stop contacting me.

Review: I received a threatening call from a "Clear Credit Services" about a debt that they would not provide details about after asking them to send written proof. The agent yelled at me saying she did not have to provide any proof and said she has my bank information so I better cooperate. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act I must be given written proof of any debt trying to be collected (they even did not mention at the start of the call about any attempt to collect a debt). I have reported this company to my state's attorney generals office as well. This companies business practices are unmoral and they should be put out of business for not following FDCA rules and regulations.Desired Settlement: Send me written proof of any debt you are attempting to collect or stop contacting me

Review: I've been contacted by this company on/off for a few months now. I speak with different representatives every time they call. Each time I've spoken with them I have request a letter be mailed to me via US Postal service stating the debt, the original account number and any additional details. They assure me they will and then don't call for a few weeks then call (and continue to call) to see if I have gotten my letter. I have received no letter as requested. They have emailed me a correspondence but never mailed anything to me. The original account number also DOES NOT match my original loan documents. I've been called upon by other companies claiming to own this same debt but none can provide the accurate account number (as seen on my original loan documents). Now I'm being told I will be served by the court this week and a 1099C will be filled against me with the IRS. It is to my understanding a 1099C must be filed by the consumer, not the business processing the loan.Desired Settlement: This debt is not valid. They have failed to provide me the information requested. Please stop contacting me.

Review: Company began calling 2/10/2014 regarding a pay day loan. Did not provide any written notification until 2/19/2014. This was not a debt validation letter, rather a settlement offer.Recieved via email at 11:22 am. At 11:36 am I received a phone call asking if I had seen the email. I said yes and asked for the phone number for the orginal creditor. They were unable or would not provide this to me. At 12:09 I recieved a phone call stating I have had enough time, and that a payment processor would be sent to me house and I should retain a lawyer.History is below - 2/10/2014 - Received a call from CCS - [redacted] indicating that I owed $610 for an outstanding pay day loan. Must provide Credit Card number for a payment, then an offer letter would be sent to me. No other information provided, requested info in writting - did not receive anything.2/12/2014 Recieved a call from Shirley - at 267-898-0391 a Doylestown PA phone number. Wanted $25 then would send a letter. I asked questions, who is the original debt for, when, their address. Shirley said "you ask a lot of questions" well I hope I would. She would not email me anthing with out a payment. Only debit card, not credit card, not money order, not certified check. Insisted that because I was asking questions, I was not agreeing to pay and she would file with the court.2/13/2014 - Spoke with [redacted] A Kissimee FL phone number. Sounds an awful like Shirley. I told her I requested info via email and never received it. She asked if I was willing to pay, I said that I would if I could validate that the debt was mine. She wanted to know how I would pay. I said IF it was mine I would pay via prepaid debt card as I was not comfortable with giving her my information. She asked all sorts of questions about how much I could pay and when. I again asked her to send me the info. She insisted that I was avoiding paying. Again asked her if the info would include the debt versus penalties and fees. She said NO that it was on file with the orginal creditor. Never would advise in the conversation who the original Creditor was. Got angry with me for asking questions, "why I couldn't pay today" I told her I'd like to look at the information and please send to me. She hung up on me.2/18/2014 - Spoke with [redacted] not traceable. Called saying I was in breach of contract as I have not paid. I told her I had not recieved any information and therefore could not verify the debt, would she please send to me. I was told that her secretary had left for the day and to call in the morning.2/19/20147 - 10:50 am called asked to speak with [redacted] (the placed on hold), finally someone picked up the call, whether or not is was the same person I do not know because she had no recollection of speaking with me the evening prior. Insisted on knowing the dates I could pay. I said IF the information was sent to me, and I could verify I would be able to make three payments, 2/28, 3/15 and 3/30. I was placed on hold for over twenty minutes. I hung up, called back and said I would look for the email and review and call back in the afternoon. Apparently none of what I asked for matters, I am apparently and according to CCS unwilling to pay. This is not the case, however their company has me extremely suspect and upset.
