I am offended by the furniture store's responseI have tried to work with them to resolve this, but I do not feel I should have to pay for the shippingYes, when I received the couch it was ok, but as soon as someone, only ONE person sat on it, it broke, I did not notice it until I saw the boards hanging down which was covered by the undercovering, The person who came over to fix the couch said there was a knot in the wood and it would not have supported any body weightHe said it was a defective piece of furniture but that would not have been found out until it was sat on, so I would not have found that out until after delivery!! I would like to resolve this matter, but I will not pay $If they settle for $100, I will pay that, but I will not pay anything more, even to have the couch fixed, which they were going to do, would cost more than thatOR if they want to send out that person again to actually fix the couch, at no cost to me, I would accept that alsoAnd it was NOT months, it was months from when I received the couch and it broke, as I said in the complaint, no one usually sits on that side of the sectional

The suggested resolution is to replace the footboardThe missing piece is not on the footboardAt 5/delivery of bed (headboard, footboard, two side slats), two nightstands and one dresser; the entire bed was rejected due to a crack in footboardHowever, when the bed was returned 6/**, the footboard was adequately repairedThe issue I reported since 6/** was the interior portion of the headboard proximal to the slat missing with nails sticking out.When standing at the foot of the bed facing the headboard, the missing piece is located on the left foot of the headboardIf the headboard can be replaced and delivered, I will absolutely accept a resolution.

Coleman Furniture understands that the customer is frustrated, however, as per the terms and conditions that the customer agrees to when they place their order with us, Coleman Furniture will fully restore to 100% any item to can be restored for deliveryAdditionally, all items are opened at the local delivery company and inspected or damages, Items are never delivered to the customer in the original packaging and then opened in the customers home. The customer received their order and the original headboard had white discoloration on it. A replacement was sent from the manufacturer as the item did not meet manufacturer standards. The replacement headboard was sent to the customer and the customer reported what
looked like excess glue on the headboard of the item. A tech was sent to address the issue. We received additional pictures from the customer and technician and after further investigation it was determined that what the customer was seeing and wanted addressed were intentional markings created by the manufacturer. We advised the customer of such and sent a high resolution image to the customer to view. Coleman Furniture's website displays the item and the intentional markings can be seen on the website as well. A replacement item would have the same intentional manufacturer created markings on itWe are able to offer additional compensation if this will satisfy the customer's claim at this time.Sharon M***

***This customer received her delivery and has advised of problems with her foot-board. The foot-board was returned to the hub and restored. The delivery company delivered to the customer and advised us that the item was delivered with no problems. Customer however
advised that she contacted us at time if delivery and advised us of issue and noted on the delivery sheet that there were issues. On the delivery BOL there are issues clearly noted on it, so we are limited on being able to go back to the delivery partner.We will be sending the needed parts to the customers home to resolve the issue and that when the parts arrive we will send a technician to properly install themWe will cover these costs for the customer.Please confirm - and we will make the arrangements for this. We have advised previously that Coleman Furniture understand the customer is frustrated regarding their order. As we have advised the customer and their banking institution while resolving this with them, the incorrectly received item would have been ordered for the customer and could have been delivered to her home while she kept the other two items. There would have been no difference in dye lot as the manufacturer takes steps to prevent that from happeningAs have finalized this with the customers financial institution we will not be refunding the customerSharon M***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved I will say, however, that it's sad that it took filing this complaint and posting negative reviews about this business online to get them to respond When I did finally get a call, the company representative admitted that she was calling because they had seen my reviews and wanted to resolve the matter The resolution was a full refund of the defective product, which was fair, but that doesn't mean the overall issue of poor service until that point is erased

Customer received delivery of his sofa on 7/*/15. Customer initiated a warranty claim for the sofa and in March the customer was
ordered a replacement item via our warranty program. Per the terms of our warranty program Coleman Furniture will replace an item deemed to have a manufacturer defect under warranty, however the customer is responsible for the shipping fees of the replacement item. As a courtesy to the customer Coleman Furniture waived the $shipping fee and the replacement sofa was sent to the delivery companyThe delivery company scheduled the customers delivery with the customer for 4/*/16. At the time of delivery the drivers contacted the customer and he advised he was unable to accept delivery and would not be able to do so for another hours. Drivers are not able to wait for extended periods of times past the delivery time frame and advised the customer he would have to reschedule. The missed delivery and re-delivery fee is $and the customer is responsible for that. Coleman Furniture has already waived one fee and can not waive any additional fees. Item is ready for delivery as soon as customer pays fees

Customer ordered the Wythe Coffee Bean LAf Sectional on April **, 2016. At the time that the customer placed their order the item was
listed for sale at a price of $2000.00. Coleman Furniture was advised by the manufacturer that the item was out of stock and as were were not advised of a date the item would be available, as such all orders for that item were cancelled as they could not be filled at that time

We have successfully resolved this issue with the customer and the order is being deliverd on 11/*/ The customer was under the impression that the sofa came un-assembled and would be out together in her home. She has since been properly
informed and is accepting re-delivery. The show wood was damaged during delivery as she did not take note of dimensions and replacement show wood was ordered. To make sure it is not damaged during delivery they will be attaching the show wood after delivering inside her home.This should resolve all issues
