[redacted]I accept the resolution from the business in question. I was able to print it off from your site.  I see the letter is dated January 5, 2016 and was mentioned in a previous email it was sent to me. Today is January 20th and I still haven't received it via mail. That's the interesting thing about this because, that's the kind of service I continued to receive after I honored part of the agreement. I truly believe if I didn't utilize the Revdex.com tool, I wouldn't have this type of response from them.  I asked to speak with management multiple times before it went this far. No one gave me the answer I needed, only saying this is all I can do "call back in 72 hours".Thanks for you assistance!

Ms. [redacted],
We find that the $33.00 balance was residual from the previous monthly billing statement.  Your beginning balance on your November 17, 2015 statement was $132.33.  After the Annual Fee reversal of $75.00 and your payment of $36.33, there was a residual balance of...

$21.00.  since the account sis not reflect a zero balance at time of cycle, the $12.00 monthly maintenance fee billed, resulting in a balance of $33.00.  When no payment was received the following cycle, the account was assessed a $25.00 Late Fee and the $12.00 Monthly Maintenance fee, resulting in a balance of $70.00.  On January 12, 2016 you paid the balance in full and had no further financial obligation on this debt.  As a courtesy, we have provided the account with a refund of the $25.00 Late Fee and $12.00 Monthly Maintenance Fee.  This has resulted in a credit balance of $37.00 that will be mailed to your address on file within 7 business days.We trust that our response will be met with your satisfaction.
Sincerely,

Your former Matrix Discover card was converted to a MasterCard in November 2013.  You activated and used your MasterCard for purchases.  As stated in our original response, you made purchases in February 2016 and march 2016 using your MasterCard account.  You have subsequently paid off that balance and the account is closed.  After review of your rebuttal we find that our original response to this matter remains unchanged as no error has been made by CFC and your card was used for purchases after the date that you allege a request for closure was submitted and not processed.

I never received notification of this. Your employee told me that it was placed on the back of statement. The last statement I received from ur company was in march 2016.  I would like for your company to reach out to me and contact me in regards to this. Also I don't make transactions where things would be continued on the next page I make one transaction a month so please advise where you are getting this incorrect information from. I should not be dinged credit wise for a charge your company charged on my card and within 4 days you are reporting to the credit agency. I'm sorry I don't agree with your bs antics and I would like for someone to call me or email me about this matter asap. Thats bs to drop someone's credit score almost 50 points for something they didn't do themselves. Instead of helping your clients you are trying to f their life up and I don't agree. Please contact me asap or give me a number to contact you.

Your company is a rip and you all are liars. That is not my credit score, I have a copy of my credit score.  I will be getting a lawyer and suing this company. Everything you put in that letter is not in my contract. I sent a check to cover the balance nd they keep they having got it but thats a  lie because the money was taking out of my checking account

Ms. [redacted]You have a Surge card ending in 5802 and this account is currently 30 days past due.  Your phone numbers were removed on 9/29/16, per your request, when collection efforts were being made, not an offer for a lower interest rate.  therefore, our response to this matter remains unchanged

As indicated during the call on April 25, 2016, the statements you are receiving are 5 days after your due date and are the next billing statement with a...

due date 25 days from the date you receive the notice.  Therefore, you are not receiving statements late as you indicated.  The late fees that were assessed were due to your failure to make your payments timely or satisfy the total required payment due during each billing cycle.  Additionally, you had received 2 late fee reversals last year so you were only provided a refund of 1 late fee on March 23, 2016.  Since the fees have billed accurately to your account, we are unable to honor your request for additional late fee reversals.  Your account is at a current status.  Please remember that when you receive the notice that your statement is available it is for the statement that just cycled and is not regarding your former payment due date.

I made numerous attempts to make payment arrangements only to be told that I would still be charged a late fee and that an arrangement could not be made.   Out of all the credit cards I have, this is the only one that incorporates the late fee into the min payment due.  I feel this is a rip off and I hope that your company reevaluates its Terms and Conditions and revise them to work in both the customer and the company's favor.  If I am telling you I don't have $95 to pay all at once, what makes you think I have $200+?  My credit card limit is only $400, yet my min payment is over $200??  That is ridiculous.  I will continue to find other avenues to get my voice heard on behalf of the customer.  Your company is a rip off.

Our records indcate that your account ending in 0497 was closed as a stolen account and you were issued the replacement account ending in 6387.  As indicated on the enclosed text copies of your monthly billing statements, on December 18, 2014, all transactions you had identified as...

fraudulent were removed from your replacement card.  The total credit given on this date was $666.88.  Therefore, we find your allegation that CFC failed to remove this balance from your card to be unwarranted.  Additionally, the balance on your account is a result of your usage of the account and not the fraudulent transactions.  We further found that, although the fraudulent transactions were removed from your account, the Foreign Currency Fees for each transaction were erroneously ommited from removal.  We have processed credits totaling $13.35 to your account. We trust that our response to this matter will be met with your satisfaction.Sincerely,[redacted]

Our records indicate that your unemployment claim was denied by the Insurance Underwriter in accordance with the Terms of the contract.  The contract states that you must have worked a minimum of 6 months prior to the event to be covered.  Since you were only employed from 9/27/14 to...

12/4/14 you did not qualify.  On May 19, 2015, we received a payment proposal from Pioneer Debt Management.  We regret that CFC does not participate in Debt Mangement Programs.  However, you were offered the option to settle the outstanding balance for $418.00, payable in a lump sum due 6/2/15 or 2 equal payments of $209 due June 2, 2015 and June 16,2 015, respectively.  On May 31, 2015, your account was written off as a bad debt.  We find that you did not accept and/or satisfy the settlement offer on the account.  As a result, the debt was sold on June 30, 2015 to UDH, an outside debt buyer.  CFC no longer owns this debt and cannot enter into payment arrangements.  Please contact U[redacted]

Mr. [redacted],Your $60.00 payment that was received on 6/4/15 via US Postal Mail was posted to your account with no issues.  However, the $60.00 payment that you processed on 6/25/15 via the Internet payment option, as well as,  the $70.00 payment from 6/10/15 and the $99.20...

payment from 7/10/15, both processed online, were returned due to "unable to locate account".  This would occur when you have miskeyed your bank account number online when processing a payment and failing to correct that account number prior to making additional payments via this avenue.  Please review and update your bank account information online to avoid further returned payments.Sincereley,[redacted]Vice PresidentCustomer Relations

Our records indicate that your $100.00 online payment was posted on June 12, 2014, the date you processed the payment online. Therefore, we find no further action is required on this concern.

I reject the response the business made. I have attached a copy of the account I am perusing resolution on which is [redacted]. Which racked up about $200 dollars and 5+ late payment derogatory items when I had no billing...

address and was never receiving bills for this account. This account is not charged off, as I am still making payments and made a payment on 7/20 I would like the late payment fees to be credited t my account. I am willing to satisfy all the debt in one lump sum if the late payments are credit back and the late payment on my credit report adjusted as I had no billing address and didn't know this was occurring. I would also like repercussion to the person whom I spoke to who verbally harassed me as to why I didn't pay for six month. That has been emotionally scarring for me as I didn't pay due to the circumstances of not having no statements and a financial hardship. If I would have been able to receive the statements whether I was going through a financial hardship or not I would have still paid the debt.

While I appreciate your reversal of the October late fee of $37 your letter made no mention of my late fee from September of $27 in which the exact same situation occurred with your website refusing to accept my legitimate login credentials. I have contacted an attorney in the matter but prefer to settle through the Revdex.com. For my records, I have received records from both my phone company and my internet history that provides proof positive in support of my claims in the matter of the September and October late fees. My internet history shows positive proof that I attempted to login to my account and make payment but the website rejected my. My phone records show proof positive that I contacted the customer service phone number prior to the end of the day on my payment due date as well. I've tried endlessly to work with your company over the phone, even speaking with a "supervisor" but each time I'm given the excuse that I was already given a "courtesy waiver" in the last 12 months. This excuse is immaterial to this issue. That late fee was waived at my request when I called in and freely admitted I forgot to pay my bill on time and requested the waiver. These two latest fees have nothing to do with that situation. Since I can prove positively through written records of my attempts to access your website and call your customer service, this time the late fees are the result of your company, not me. I'm a very honest person and would have no issue accepting these fees had I been at fault. I stand my ground because I know I made every effort to make payment on time and was still not able to and then penalized due to no fault of my own.In closing, if you agree to waive the September late fee of $27, on top of your other offer to remove the October late fee, I will consider this matter closed. The other issue stated regarding my annual fee and maintenance fee being reversed are also immaterial since that is already part of the written agreement provided I met the timeline which I did. I look forward to your quick response so we can close this matter completely. I was a good paying customer for 12 months, never late more than a couple day, and only once due to my neglect. I was never later than however long it took in order to reach you and resolve the balance. It's highway robbery and I feel taking advantage of disadvantaged people by providing a credit card with fair terms up front and then penalizing them after a solid year of good history with both a $96 annual fee and then another $120 over the course of the year just to maintain the account. This topped off by a high interest rate is why I say this is taking advantage of people. Thankfully I have raised my credit rating enough to buy a house and now have numerous credit cards that do not rob you blind. I feel you have a good product that is desperately needed, but you should review your annual charges and consider making them more feasible for people who need the card the most. For me, I just needed three lines of revolving credit in order to qualify for a mortgage, it had nothing to do with my credit rating. I'd be more than happy to provide a positive feedback and review of your credit card provided these changes were made. Otherwise I would not recommend it to people already struggling who may feel there is no alternative to getting better credit than to pay you over $200 a year in fees coupled with high interest rates.

When I talked to the Customer Service agent, I stated more than once in the phone conversation that I did not have the $305.00 that was due at the time, I then stated that I was trying to work out a way to get my account back into good standing and bring me up to date, meaning pay my dues for February.  The customer service agent acknowledged that I was looking to pay a generous amount of money, but that I could not afford the full $305.  The amount I paid in $235.00 was suggested by the customer service agent, which was presented as "I'll tell you what, heres what I can do to help you out, can you make a payment of $235."  I stated, if I pay that, it brings my account into good standing. I was told "yes", and the gentleman I talked with was very much fully aware that I assumed this to be the only amount owed for February and that my next payment would be a standard bill of $35.00 due in March.  I was never informed when paying the $235 that I was still liable and would be charged a fee within less than 48 hours if a remaining $70 wasn't paid.  I called the company to talk and explain what had happened and I was completely shut down, no one cared that I had been put under a certain assumption that was effecting my finances.  I called this business looking to make a payment that would satisfy my amount due in February and was led on by a customer service agent who made it seem as though this was the case and that I did not owe more money for that billing period.  I have then been severely harassed by the company with phone calls and have had to make multiple requests to have my number removed from the call list.

Your dispute of $55 was found in favor of the merchant, which resulted in your financial obligation for this purchase.  As a courtesy, Continental Finance Comapny wrote off this purchase as a loss on February 10, 2014 to resolve your concern.  Additionally, in our response of 2/10/14, you were provided with the statements you had requested.  Furthermore, you were issued a refund check in the amount of $103.20 on January 20, 2014.  Your account is closed with a zero balance and no further action is required; therefore, we find that this issue has been resolved.
