Drove two hours to look at a used work van listed on the internet, looked in fair condition and test drove it. Salesman sat in back of van without a seat and held onto bulkhead giving us directions for test drive, which was strange. Test drive revealed a vibration from the brakes which shook the whole truck and vibrated the pedal when stopping. Also the steering wheel was severely off center while driving straight indicating a possible front end issue. We made an offer that was less than asking price due to the obvious issues the vehicle had. The counter offer was $100 less than asking price without budging, followed by a torrent of excuses about what problems could be, and how the internet is ruining used car sales. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and bought two trucks for cash from the other company. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone for any reason

between couple of salesmen dealing with this issue. We never intended on giving the runaround to Mr. [redacted] nor did we not want to refund his credit card. His card was credited on 1/3/15 for the amount of $50 which was the original deposit we have taken. Once again, we apologize for this unnecessary matter.

Also at the time of the sale we informed you that a  gasket has to be replaced and we promised that we will take care of it  at no cost to you.As we promised we took care of the gasket at no cost.In addition to the gasket we also give you the wholesale price for the parts which our 30 day powertrain warranty did not cover.  If what you say is true about the car and work we did, you would have experienced drivability problems as soon as you left our dealership.  As a mechanic, even a short trip in the car in this condition you would have brought the vehicle back to us right away.We arranged towing to bring the vehicle back at no cost because according to you the car wasn't driveable. You contacted us the following morning and canceled the towing because you had to drive the car to work. If the car was not in condition to be driven, you would not have taken it to work.All work and parts that was not covered under warranty were covered by us since you stopped payment on your credit card. We did not hear from you again.

I spent over 2 months shopping for a used Lexus LS430 and finally I found the right one at Conway Imports. I was very suprised of the condition of the vehicle and my sales advisor SEBASTIAN. This young man was extremally professional, very thorough and incredibly knowledgable about the car and financing aspect of purchase. And also I would like to Thank you for KARL for taking care of the financig. He get me better interest rate I expected.
Its not the first time Im buying car but first time in my life when Im not feel like a target but like family and I definitley will come back for the next car and of course I would recommend this place for all my frieds and family.

The service was absolutely fantastic. Everything was dealt with quickly and with tact. They did everything possible to get me the car that I wanted.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10887073, and find that this resolution is mostly satisfactory to me.  I expressed some concerns in regards to the company's practices, such as the paperwork that they have customers sign, and there is no mention of that on this response.  There were also issues with the staff and some business practices that I brought to Chris' attention that there seems to be no resolution for.  Two big items that I would have liked to seen resolution on were not mentioned in the response.What I will say is that the customer service on this case was good.  Being an after the fact situation, Chris seemed to have worked very hard to ensure that the issues that I was experiencing with my vehicle were resolved.  He went so far as to repair one issue that I knew about when I bought the vehicle.  This was a knob that was broken off.  I have not had the opportunity to verify the repairs, but the vehicle does seem to be operating much better than when I first brought it back to Conway.

I initially contacted the dealership on Thursday, 2/18 about a Mazda CX-7. I spoke with Rigo and he assured me that the vehicle was there and in great shape(as I was apprehensive about driving to streamwood). I made an appointment to come looked at the vehicle on Saturday,2/20. He ended the call by saying that he would contact me if the vehicle sold before then, as he didn't want to waste me time. I drove forty minutes to a scheduled appointment only to be told by a salesman the car that I was interested in had sold on Wednesday, the day before I initially spoke to Rigo. And once I had met Rigo, he tried to still tell me the car was there. After I left Conway visibly irritated, I was contacted via text message by Sebastian about missing my appointment. I replied to said text with what happened to only receive a message that stated the car had sold on Thursday, 2/18. I was not contacted about the vehicle being sold.

Very unhappy with the service they put a hibben fee on me when I buy a 2013 [redacted] car on 3/7/16 after I said pay full price with tax and plate and a extra 600$ bank fee they put on me was not happy with there service would not recommend to any friends,family,stay away

attached a quote below that states all the issues with the car and how much approx.: would be to fix, these are all ongoing issue from the same day we bought the car and some of the issue are illegal and unsafe. I would like for Conway imports to resolve all issue by bringing the car to a Mercedes Benz dealership and having issues fix at there expense. They sold us an unsafe and illegal car and they should make it right

As stated previously, the vehicle was never in an unsafe or illegal condition. Customers were aware of the condition at the time of sale. The accusations are unreasonable. Therefore, we are not responsible for issue or repairs related to this vehicle.

I don't accept their response based on the complete lack of trying to resolve these issue. As far as the unsafe issue is the brakes they were reported in 2012 of being worn down and needing to be replaced when we question them they stated the brakes were in fine working order. As to the illegal issue it is illegal and unsafe to drive on bald tires, I would think it would even be illegal to sell a car with a safety issue like that. Another example of their lack of business like action they are holding are license plates for some unknown reason, the dmv stated a employee of Conway imports picked them up on July 2 in Naperville and as of today we haven't heard or received the plates. The company display of terrible customer service is eveident.
