On July 18, I took my two granddaughters to Hilton Head for vacationI attended the timeshare presentation only because they were offering two zip line adventure tickets free for listening to a one hour presentation I advised the salesperson that I was only interested in converting my timeshare week to a points system He advised me it would cost $ In the process of making a down payment the salesperson presented a form indicating I would be given a free week worth an additional 11,points I declined not once but many times and the salesperson repeatedly assured me that this week had no costs associated with it After hours of overwhelming dialogue for this transaction, I received a text from my granddaughters that they had left the condo and walked to the beach In my panic I asked to get the paperwork done so I could return to my condo I went into panic mood and said I was leaving which put everything in high gear with paperwork pages being carefully displayed for initials and signatureBelieving that what I signed was for simple points conversion I did not recheck the documents during our vacation and therefore the day limit was over on the day we left Hilton Head In November I received a statement for maintenance fee of a free week I know nothing about I phoned the financial office to obtain information as to where was this week was, what week was it, and what does the initials stand for Response was second week of January, pay fees once every three years, and a comment of "you should have read the documents before you signed them" How does one get rid of something they know nothing about Not there problem The salesperson did give me his phone number however he no longer communicates with me since I sent him a text in November that I was sure I had been scammed My life goal is to sell or give away two timeshares so this nightmare will be gone

On 2/18/Mr*** purchased a bedroom, gold tri-ennial timeshare at the Coral Sands Resort, starting in Mr***'s Coral Sands timeshare has been enrolled in the RCI Global Points Network What this means is that rather than only having usage
at the Coral Sands Resort one time every third year, Mr***'s timeshare unit has been deposited into their RCI points account and Mr*** is awarded 28,points per yearThis gives Mr*** the ability to take advantage of not only having 4000+ resorts he can exchange to, but he also may take advantage of RCI's different programs, including the ability to make reservations through the discount point programs A quick search today reveals that there are resorts available to be booked through RCI right now for 10,points or less, this includes resorts in Hilton Head.
As the title of Mr***'s contract reads Coral Sands Horizontal Property Regime Triennial Purchase Contract, and Mr*** not only signed this contract, but was given a copy of the contract at the time of purchase, it was clear that Mr*** was buying a Triennial contract As Mr*** states, he is very knowledgeable about how timeshare works, he would know that if he only has a maintenance fee every third year, then he only has ownership every third year.
Cruises are a part of the RCI Points Partners program If Mr*** has questions regarding this portion of his benefits he would need to ask RCI about them The Coral Resorts sells condo units which can be enrolled in the RCI system Taking a cruise using RCI points would be a benefit of the RCI Points membership, but it is not what Mr*** purchased.
RCI exchange fees would also need to be addressed with RCI RCI does provide a priority booking window to Coral Resorts owners, which if a reservation is booked within this window, no exchange fee will be charged to come back to the home resort
Mr*** has barely had access to his RCI points account for a month, it is unfortunate that he has not taken the time to learn the system, and instead has jumped to filing complaints The Owner Services Department has responded to his phone call and email and has offered instruction and suggestions for using his timeshare The Owner Services department continues to be available to assist Mr*** with his ownership and can be reached Monday-Friday from 9-at ###-###-####

We got scammed! Through sweet talk and great deals, we bought timeshare with Coral Sands in Dec It was a tri-annual purchase (which was not explained to us) We were told that we'd receive a "Free Additional Developers Week" that THEY would rent for us if we didn't use itIt would be during the highly acclaimed Golf Tournament and it would surely rent out every yearWe were told we'd receive a notice every January asking if we wanted to use itIf not, they would rent it and the price would cover our maintenance feeSo basically our cost would be nothingNEVER have received a letter in JanuaryBut we have nothing stating what the salesperson told usWe have never used our timeshare and are now desperate to get out of itWe were also told we'd have a pet-friendly unit Now to be told there's no such thing

Mr***Mrand Mrs*** purchased this years ago In the time since their purchase, they have been using their ownership for at least separate reservations in the last years The Coral Resorts does have pet friendly units that Mrand Mrs*** can reserve The Owner
Services Department is available to assist Mrand Mrs*** with their ownership-including their Developer Week, however rather than contacting Owner Services, the first we have heard from Mrand Mrs*** since was this complaint Mrand Mrs*** can reach Owner Services by calling ###-###-####, Monday to Friday from 9-5, and we are happy to assist them with any questions they may have.Respectfully,Owner Services for the Coral Resorts

I have tried to make reservations to be able to use this time shareThey have now told us we must be members of RCIThis is an added expense that as a timeshare member you must and should not incurThis company is operating with very unorthodox practicesI think that given all the complaints that this company has received thru the Revdex.com that something needs to be done to stop this from happeningThis leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth because never again will I trust a timeshare company

Ms*** has NEVER contacted the Owner Services
department, which is available to her from 9-Monday to Friday to answer ANY
questions she has regarding her
purchase.
She states she is contacting her sales representative from years ago,
who is no longer a Coral Resorts employee.
Ms*** states that her issue is the ability to book reservations;
however, she filed this complaint WHILE ON VACATION IN A NICE RESORT IN THE
SMOKEY MOUNTAINS
We will not be cancelling a purchase, nor refunding a
purchase that Ms*** is ACTIVELY using while we type this response
If Ms*** has any questions on her ownership, she may

I am rejecting this response because: We have still continued to try to make contact with Brent, leaving numerous messages If an attempt had been made to call my husband's phone, the number would have shown in the call log No number from Coral Resorts is showing in his call log Besides that, we have left more than one number to be reached at since the beginning of August, and we have phone numbers on record If one call was made and there was no answer, it would make since, as a business, calling a customer who has made so many attempts to reach someone, that more than one attempt to call back would be made
We were deceived when we purchased this package and in trying to straighten it out NO ONE has called us back We are often met with a rude response when we call The exception being when I call from an unknown number It would seem as a business if the person in charge of our account is unable to handle his job, it would be passed on to someone who is capable

Dear MrOie,
On October
4, 2013, Ms*** upgraded her floating Island Links timeshare, which was
exchanged in the RCI network for
points, to a Fixed Week Timeshare at the Port
O’ Call Resort. The unit she upgraded to
at the Port O’Call Resort was in the Silver Season, week 8, unit PCThis
information was listed on the front page of her Port O’ Call Purchase
Contract. Unit PCis a two bedroom
unitThe agreed upon purchase price for this unit was $15,900. As stated on the front page of her signed
purchase contract, Ms*** was provided with a day right of cancellation
during which she had the opportunity to review her contract and cancel without
penalty
Ms
*** called Coral Resorts and indicated that she was unhappy with the week
she purchased, which was week 8, and wished to change to a week in
September. The Coral Resorts offered to
make this change for Ms***, which changed her season from Silver to Gold
at no additional charge to herAs Port O’ Call is a sold out resort, and we
were unsure as to when a week in September would be available for Ms***,
the Coral Resorts also offered to make Ms*** a September reservation
while waiting for September inventory to become available. Once a suitable week became available for Ms
***, we contacted her by email and provided her with the unit number, week
number and resort for her approval. Ms
*** accepted that unit and confirmed PC311, week 36, at the Port O’ Call
resort in the Gold season would work for herCoral Resorts then mailed Ms
*** a new contract, which contained the new unit and week information on
the front page. Ms*** had the
ability to review this contract at her convenience prior to returning it to the
Coral Resorts to be finalized
On June
18, 2015, Mr*** called and stated he was to have a bedroom unitHe
was advised he owned a bedroom unitCoral Resorts offered to change Mrand
Mrs***’s inventory to a bedroom, but as there is a substantial cost
difference between a bedroom and a bedroom unit, Mr*** was advised
they would have to pay the difference in costMrand Mrs*** did not
want to pay the difference in cost from a bedroom to a bedroom unit
It
is entirely up to the purchaser how long they would like to spend reviewing
their purchase documentsAdditionally, Mrand Mrs***’s purchase
contract provided for a day right of cancellationTherefore, Mrand Mrs
*** had days to review their contract, or to engage an attorney or third
party to review the documents for them
Coral Resorts will again extend the offer to Ms
***, to have her inventory changed to a bedroom unit, depending upon
availabilityHowever, Mrand Mrs*** will be responsible for any
difference in price from the unit they currently own to a bedroom unit.

Mrs*** membership contract states that she can rent condos and timeshare units are reduced rates. There is no mention of concert tickets in her paperwork or any promise of discounts. We do have an event ticketing service, in comparison to ticket master, or prices
are sometime lower and some times the same. However ticket prices vary from section to section. The tickets we typically purvey are seats not available to general public
Resorts Anytime is designed to allow our members to use timeshare condos with out having to buy timeshare. On any given day we have approximately 125,units available.
We also have a price match guarantee. In the event a member does find a lower price, we will match that and refund 10% of the difference. We guarantee our pricing against any other published pricing, available to the general public, for the same exact travelAt a minimum, this means, the same arrival and departure dates, the same property, the same room, the same size unit, the same cruise line, the same cabin, the same itinerary and the same departure and arrival datesNotwithstanding the foregoing, we cannot match consolidator fares, fares that have been acquired through auction or bid, fares that are non-refundable due to supplier policies, such as hotel bookings where a special rate was received in exchange for the booking being non-refundable, cruise fares that are paid in full and fall within the final penalty period (normally days from sailing), and are therefore non-cancellable by the cruise lines, or internet fares for which we cannot verify the price and exact itinerary. "
If Mrs*** can provide specific examples of cheaper travel that falls within our PMG, then we will address the issue further. At this point it is the opinion of Resorts Anytime that no settlement is necessary

On 7/7/14, Ms[redacted] purchased a triennial timeshare, in the Silver Season,
at the Island Links resort. Ms[redacted]'s
purchase contract has a clear title at the top, which in bold letters,
indicates Ms[redacted] has purchased a triennial timeshare
Ms[redacted] enrolled this timeshare into the RCI points program, and receives
21,RCI points per year in exchange for the deposit of her triennial week
The number of days Ms[redacted] gets for her 21,points per year is determined
by how she makes her reservations.
Points used for reservations vary based on Resort, unit size, unit quality,
season, how a reservation is made, etcOnce a unit is enrolled with RCI, all
reservations will be booked directly through RCIThe Coral Resorts does have
an in house RCI representative available to assist with reservations
Ms[redacted]'s credit was run because she financed her purchase
The Coral Resorts has pet friendly units at Island Links, Coral Reef
and Coral Sands. So, we are not sure why
Ms[redacted] states that her dog is not welcome
Ms[redacted] is not limited to travel in the Bronze Season, Ms[redacted]
may use her points any time she chooses
We are not sure what Ms[redacted] is referring to when she mentions bonus
points. She is entitled to RCI bonus weeks,
could this be what she is looking for?
If so she should have been given an RCI bonus week certificate at the
time of purchase. If she has not received
this certificate, she can notify Coral Resorts Owner Services and they would be
happy to issue one to her
The Owner Services Department has offered strategies to Ms[redacted] for
spending less points/less money on her reservations. Ms[redacted] came down with no appointment at
the height of tourist season, and no one was available to meet with her. However, the Director of Owner Services did
call her and spent minutes on the phone with Ms[redacted]. The Director of Owner Services put Ms[redacted]
in touch with our in house RCI rep, Melissa, who offered her assistance to Ms
[redacted] to help her make a reservation.
At that time Ms[redacted] informed the RCI prep that they didn't have any
travel dates in mind and would get back in touch
The Owner Services department remains available to Ms[redacted] and is
happy to assist with her ownership. The
Owner Services department can help Ms[redacted] to make pet friendly
reservations, as well as to review the strategies for booking points
reservations. Owner Services can be

On 6/19/12, Mr. [redacted] purchased a tri-ennial timeshare from the Coral Resorts.  This timeshare is enrolled into the RCI global points network, and Mr. [redacted] receives 24,833 RCI points per year.  In order to make a reservation using his timehsare, Mr. [redacted] will book...

directly through RCI.  In an effort to make sure that there is availability for property owners to make reservations, RCI provides its members with "priority booking windows" during which members can book into their home resort, or home group of resorts, prior to RCI opening the reservation to all other RCI members.  If Mr. [redacted] is having difficulty with availability through RCI, and would like assistance, the Coral Resorts provides an In-house RCI representative to its owners.  Her name is Melissa, and she can be reached at ###-###-####.  As all RCI points inventory, availability and reservations are handled with RCI directly, Mr. [redacted] would need to address these concerns with RCI directly.
In addition to the tri-ennial deeded week that Mr. [redacted] purchased, he was also given a Developer Week as an additional incentive at the time he purchased.  The Developer Week is separate from his timeshare.  It is an additional opportunity to reserve a week in one of the Coral Resorts properties each year.  Developer Weeks can be booked up to a year in advance, and can be used in any of the Coral Resorts properties, any week of the year Mr. [redacted] chooses.  Developer Week reservations are first come, first served, and will be based on availability.  If Mr. [redacted] chooses to use a Developer Week, he will be charged the current annual maintenance fee for the unit he uses, per his signed Developer Week Addendum.  If Mr. [redacted] chooses not to use his Developer Week for personal use, he may rent this unit out, however, also per his Developer Week Addendum, Rental is not a service which the Coral Resorts provides. 
The Coral Resorts has an Owner Services Department that is available to Mr. Ross, should he have any additional questions regarding his timeshare.  Owner Services can be reached at ###-###-####, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
