I was going through a custody case when I hired this companyAnd for more than six months, I was billed for work that wasn't actually being doneAt the end I had nothing to show for any of the work they said they were doingIt would constantly show that he was "reviewing the file" but nothing ever got filed and I was being billed the entire timeThe only time anything ever happened was when I (not a lawyer) suggested it, based on the experiences of other people I know, for example: subpoena-ing bank account recordsThat was done at my direct suggestion but you would my lawyer would think to do thatAlso, I was contacted by the lawyer for the other side who said he'd reached out to my lawyer and had gotten no response backMy lawyer said multiple times that would do a specific action like file certain paperwork and it would never get done
This law firm has a customer care complaint center, the representatives there listen to and do nothing for youI contacted them at least times, they'd follow up with me via email and just say "sorry, we don't think you have a valid complaint." They set up a call between me, my lawyer, and my lawyer's boss that was basically just me against two lawyers, it was not helpful and uncomfortableI did eventually post something about my experience with the business on their Facebook page and got a lot of responses via private messages from people who said they had the same experience
I fired them and the lawyer I hired to replace them got me results in months

I initially used an attorney from a different law office That was a big mistake Stephanie *** at Cordell and Cordell was excellent and I wish I would have used her to begin with In addition to being strategically minded for my benefit (I nicknamed her the chess master), she anticipated potential future scenarios and provided guidance on how to handle them Furthermore, she provided very sound, thoughtful, wise, and objective advice/guidance during a crazy period in my life that helped me personally navigate through the storm
