Jeff H was informative and preformed all the requested services.

Terrible customer service, and the sales rep lied to me to get a sale. I had a Crazy Frog rep come to my door to sell me their services. I declined the offer several times as we were going to be selling the house in the next couple months and would be moving. He assured me that I could sign up for their promotion and when I moved I could cancel the service. I had some wasp nests that I couldn't reach, and thought what the heck. They came out and did 3 applications, I called when I moved to cancel and thought all was good.
Fast forward to next summer, we are in a rental while the new house is being built, and I get a message they are servicing my old address in a couple days. I call again, explain that we sold that house and no longer lived there, and that I had cancelled the account when I moved last year. I was assured the appointment was cancelled and that I would receive a call back to close out the account as requested. 3 days later still no call, I call back and am informed that if I cancel, I now have a two hundred something dollar cancellation fee because I agreed to X amount of applications and only had 3.
I explained the situation, and what their representative had promised me. I was informed that I should have read the agreement that they had sent me. Yeah that's my mistake, I should have read it and cancelled right away, however I took the sales person at their word, again my mistake.
Had they been straight forward and honest with me, I would have used them at my new home, now I will gladly pay the early cancellation fee and never use them again, and warn others to beware. Stay clear of this company.

Jeff H was on time yesterday for our quarterly treatment. Main complaint was the ants and wasps that have become a nuisance lately. He took care of our issues, explained the treatments. Very professional and a joy to chat with .

My complaint is the fact that the salesperson came out and told us that our initial two sprays were $99 and that in 90 days we would have an additional spray and then every 3 months it was $99 I was charged twice $99 I was also informed by the salesperson that we could cancel at any time with no problems no fees no nothing and they are wanting to charge me $200 for canceling Services because obviously they're not happy the fact that I cancelled or whatever because I was double-charged after they told me it was $99

Crazy Frog Pest Control Response • Jul 25, 2018

When Mr. A signed up with us he signed up for 12 months/5 service agreement. Their initial service was discounted to $99 from $299 because they did sign up for a year. Each service there after would cost $99 based on the size of their home. In the agreement that was signed and then emailed to the customer it has a calendar that outlines when they will be serviced and charged. On their agreement it shows the customer would be charged in June and July and then every 90 days after that. The first service we do is a special service that we call a "initial flush out" service. The treatment attempts to gain control over existing pest. Then the customer has their first quarterly service 30-60 days later to help break up those egg cycles. This is the best way to maintain pest and get control over them.

If a customer does decide to not finish their agreement that they signed up for as per the agreement "If for any reason, the contract is cancelled before its completion of the services outlined in the schedule above, and the initial service has been preformed, customer agrees to pay full initial service charge". Since we gave the ***'s a discount of $200 we do just ask that they pay this back if they wish to not continue on their quarterly schedule as agreed upon.

Mike C from Crazy Frog completed my service yesterday on 7/11.....he completely addressed all of my concerns and explained to me what pests I was dealing with.....very polite and professional

Jeff, the Pest Technician, was personable, professional, and on time for the appointment. He answered all my questions about how he would rid my yard of gophers/moles. He also explained in detail when the treatments would take place and the payment for those treatments.

Door to door salesman offer us bugs spray service for a discount of $250.00 of the initial service cost of $299.00 with $33.00 for the monthly spray thereafter.
According to the salesman, we can cancel the service anytime if we are not satisfied with the service and never did mention that we will owe the company
$250.00 if we cancel the service after the initial spray. He also did ask me sign a check for $49.00 and sign a paper just to allow the company to come out and spray without stressing that it is a service contract.
I sent out a cancellation notice after 3-4 days of the initial service after seeing no dead bugs falling out for the walls as the salesman has lead us to believe.
The company mailed me a bill of $250.00 per my requested last week. Included in the mail is the service contract that I've signed with the salesperson
earlier. They have also highlighted in yellow the term in the contract in a box in green with very small print. I have no paid the bill of $250.00 .

After further reviewing the customers account, complaint and our encounters with him. I do see that he did sign the 12 month agreement. This agreement outlines 5 service and the price of each service. This agreement also outlines that we are giving the customer the discount of $250 under the understanding that he will complete the 12 months/5 services. The customer did say word for word "I sweet talked into signing the agreement" and admitted he didn't read the agreement before he signed it. In this agreement, it also outlines that you may see an increase of pest after that first initial service "The first treatment around your home is called an "initial flush". This special treatment attempts to gain control over existing pest populations" "Initially you may see a slight increase of pest activity as pest populations are disrupted. Within a few weeks you should see this activity drastically declined as our products take effect". We did offer to send someone out to do the customers first quarterly service but we have to wait 30 days to do this service. Customer declined.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because of the company unethical practice. Also, There is no dead bugs seen after the first " flush" as I was lead to believe by the company. The follow up is just to kill the eggs...

Sincerely

I called about wasp nests and requested Crazy Frog to take care of my problem. They were prompt in setting up an appointment convenient to me and Marc showed up on time and took care of the wasp problem. He also sprayed my garage when I mentioned that there had been black widow spiders found in a neighbors garage. I am very pleased with the service I've received.

Great service and very friendly, on time and very thorough, would recommend to everyone anytime. Greg was excellent

I unknowingly signed a twelve month contract in August 2017 due to deceitful door-to-door sales. I only realized that I was in a contract with Crazy Frog when I read the confirmation email for service. I decided that a year was an acceptable length of time to try their pest control services, and did not dispute the contract.

At our last quarterly service on 6/19/18, we requested that the technician spray the interior of our home due to insects and spiders, a stated free service upon request in the contract email. The technician refused to spray the interior. I emailed to cancel our contract, and was told by a customer service agent that I needed to pay the July installment (our last payment per the contract) and an August installment (not included in the contract). I replied that August 2018 was not in our contract and would not be paid. I complained that the technician did not spray the interior when requested. I asked to have the July payment waived as the technician did not complete the service as contractually obligated.

The customer service agent did not agree to waive July, and instead discussed having a technician come to our home to spray the interior at an additional appointment. I considered this option until today, 6/23/18, when my husband and I were cleaning our garage for the first time since the winter. As we moved larger items away from the garage walls to sweep, we found excessive mouse droppings, beetles, crickets, other insects, and spiders behind all of our storage.

Given that we have been receiving pest control from Crazy Frog for almost a year, we should not have recent mouse droppings and such a large number of insects and spiders in our garage (and some in our home). It is apparent that either the product is faulty, watered down, or the technicians have not been properly applying the treatment.

Reviewing the customers account, she did sign a 12 month agreement and 1 initial service and 4 quarterly services. The customer paid for her discounted initial price and then paid monthly for her quarterly services. Each quarterly service is split up into 3 monthly payments making a total of 12 monthly payments to pay for those 4 quarterly services. Ms. paid has only paid 10 monthly payments leaving 2 payments for their last service. We do treat the interior and when it was brought to our attention that it was not done we offered a free re-service to get that taken care of at the convince of the customer. When it comes to the garage, we are able to service the garage when the customer requests it. However, it does not look like we have treated the garage for awhile. If there was large items against the wall that can also make our job tricky as we are unable to service every crack and crevice of the garage, as these pest are finding homes behind that storage mentioned by the customer. We are unable to move personal items when servicing and we will also make sure to not spray those items as we don't want to apply pesticide to any personal items. We do use top of the line product to control pest and all of our technicians are fully licensed and know the pest way to control them.

Crazy Frog charged my card on file for July and August payments on 6/28/18 without permission or warning, and before the due date. After a series of emails, Crazy Frog acquiesced to the terms of our contract and refunded the August 2018 payment. At this point our account is closed, and we never received a refund for the last quarterly service payments that were ineffective on our property.

Early this week a salesman from Crazy Frog Pest Control came to the door. He told my wife for $49 they would do an intial spray and then come back in a month for another spraying, and she could cancel at any time. She gave him her card info and signed his ipad thinking she was authorising the $49 transaction. I checked the emails she received and discovered she had actually signed a 2 year agreement for hundreds of dollars. (He said nothing about that). The fine print said we had 3 days to cancel, but if they performed the initial spray, we were on the hook for hundreds of dollars. This explains why they schedule the initial spray so quickly (in our case 9am the next morning). My wife emailed and cancelled the agreement. I also hand delivered a letter of cancellation at their office in Meridian the next morning at 7:45am. I screwed my gates shut and posted a notice prohibiting them from doing anything to our property. After reviewing online reviews about this company, it is obvious that this trickery is widespread and unaurguably encouraged. Exact stories from others go back years. I consider myself fortunate for having stopped service before it started. A company with this lack of integrity needs to be investigated and shut down.

Mike from Crazy Frog came on the 19th of June 2018 to rid my property of pests. He put granuals on my grass and sprayed the shrubs, flowers and the base of the trees. He also sprayed in my garage and around the otside of my house. He also removed wasp nests. He did a great job.

Technician showed up at my house without an appointment (I know this due to having video surveillance) and left without leaving any type of notice. I called and left a message with the company that I would need to schedule a service at a time when I could be home but never received a return call. Again a technician showed when I was not home and without an appointment and sprayed the front of my house only (I have locked gates and a dog). I called the company to straighten this out and ultimately cancelled my service. They continued to bill me for a full service so I asked that an actual full service be done and I would pay the bill. They said they would not do this since I cancelled the service but they would also not adjust the charge for a partial service. The work was done when I had an open and active account but they still state that they won't complete the job because I will not open an account back up with them. I feel they are charging me for services that were not completed.

We should up to *** house on 04/09/18 for her scheduled appointment. We sent reminders for this appointment on 04/06/18. We did not do this service on 04/06/18 because the gates were locked. We then tried to contact the customer and her voicemail was full.We then returned on 04/18/18. The customer received reminders for this appointment as well. Per our company, we will come out once and not service because of locked gates. If we come out twice and the gates are locked we do the front yard and it is up to the customer to give us a call to schedule the backyard. *** had called us on 04/19/2018 and when we tried to call back the voicemail box was full. She then called us during non business hours on 05/15/18 and when tried to call her back the voicemail box was still full. We then sent the following text message "Hi ***, we received your voicemail. We did do the front yard on 04/18/18 and we would love to schedule a time for the backyard". *** called in later that day and talked to one of our customer service reps that had offered to send someone out to do the backyard but *** refused that and just wanted to close her account. At this time, it was told that it would void out any warranty we had with her. She then called and tried to get us to to come back out and we then reminded her that her account had been closed and as long as the account is closed we are unable to do any services.

James V. Was awesome, very knowledgeable and friendly. He did my quarterly service as well as bombed under the house to kill ants that I was having an issue with. I have used Crazy Frog for 4 years, they always do a great job. I will request James V again, he was a great tech.

Good job showed up on time and answered all my questions

Greg did an excellent job, explaining the whole process and what the products he was using did. Very friendly and knowledgeable, would recommend Crazy Frog for anyone's pest control problems.

Did an excellent job on first application.

I contacted Krazy Frog today in regards to cancelling my services. I paid for 5 services.
One application has been done and since then there has not been any decrease in wasps. They even left all the nest.
The wasps were the entire reason for the service. I was told that they would only refund me a portion. I paid $400.00 for the 5 services and they only want to refund me $100.00 Again one spray was done. I do not want another spray as the first one should have had an effect. I was not told that we would need multiple sprays to possibly clear out the bugs.

Your salesman gave us a guarantee that we would not see any bugs including wasp, spiders, and ants after the first application.
He then went on to say that if we were not satisfied for any reason that we would be refunded. Not that you would bill me $260.00 for cancelling!
Not once was it mentioned that we would need a respray after the initial service.
You have the consumer/customer sign on a tablet. There is no handout of the guideline before signing, just your salesman's guarantee/word.

This is misleading/misrepresented, along with dishonest.
The application had no effect, and if its part of your policy to spay twice to possibly clear out the bugs then that should have been said (we should have been informed).
You failed to inform us of this until I called into cancel.

They simply say that it should have been emailed to you the guidelines/contract.

In response to your issue we would first like to note we record all our calls and have you stating over the phone that the technician removed the wasp nests at your house. He missed a few and for this reason we do free reservices. The salesman told you and your fiancé this, and this was reiterated to you over the phone. We do not eliminate bugs from flying over your property as this would be unsafe for you and for the environment as I’m sure you understand - as a part of our service we remove wasp nests and apply product to keep them from trying to nest there again. In the case the technician misses a nest or you begin to have issues at any time we always reservice for free. Again this was explained to you by your salesman, over the phone and in the agreement, illustrations included.

Given the fact you paid for the full year you clearly understood the service involved five applications. A calendar illustrating the service timeline is gone over with each of our customers and sent to them via email upon sign up with our service. The agreement says in bold letters we do our second service 30-45 days after the initial service.

We hold communication with our customers of utmost importance and aim to resolve any issues that may arise and address any miscommunication that may have happened. We’re sorry you decided not to trust this process, but we hope that in the future you choose to be forthright with any other companies you choose to work with to avoid these kind of issues with them as well.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

I am so happy to hear you record conversations, a business such as yours would have a need for that. Since you have a recording you can also hear that I said he removed the two nest in the fence but left all the other!

Pallet furniture sectional has two, my gas fire pit has one, pallet table has one. This is where we spend our time outside. This was our main concern.

Again with a response of a contract that you don't get to see till you sign, and even then you would have to pull it up in an email. "Forthright" coming from you?! Unbelievable.

What I buy at the local store does a better job the first time than your product and cost pennies to the dollar. Do not tell me what the salesman said as you were not there. That would be hear say, and more than likely you haven't even spoken with the sales rep.

The salesman is all for the commission (we also discussed this) I believe he was going to make $30.00 off of the sale. He gave us his word that the product would work the first time, and if it didn't we would be given a refund! I call in and all I get is you signed a contract. After posting a complaint yesterday I read others, and there are far too many similarities to these complaints. Lesson learned we should have looked you up before even indulging in a conversation with a door to door salesman.

You should stand behind you products/services/words and if they are not satisfactory refund your customer. Its standard practice for any ethical business. Your concerns/service seem to be about ripping people off.

Sincerely

We're new to the Nampa area and Crazy Frog was recommended by our neighbor. I'm glad he did. Matt came to our house and did an excellent job explaining the process and what we should expect. He was friendly and very professional. We were in the middle of a project and he was able to work around us. I would highly recommend this company for your pest control needs.

Good service from our technician Jeff.
