We are in receipt of the complaint of Ms***, forwarded to us through the portal on March 7, 2018. Upon receipt of your correspondence, we documented the concerns raised by Ms*** and forwarded a copy to our client, *** *** ***.Please be advised that Credit Control,
LLC is not in any way attempting to "re-age" this account, nor has Credit Control, LLC ever reported this account to any credit reporting agency. Any credit reporting of this account would only be performed by the current owner, *** *** ***. Ms*** would need to address any questions or concerns regarding the credit reporting of this account directly with *** *** ***.With regard to our letter, as referenced by Ms***, due to the the age of this account our letter contained the required disclosure advising that the law limits how long you can be sued on a debt and that due to the age we will not sue. In addition, we also included the required disclosure advising that *** *** *** may report or continue to report an unpaid account for as long as the law will allow. Once again, as Credit Control, LLC is not involved in any way with the credit reporting of this account, Ms*** would need to address any such questions or concerns directly with *** *** ***.As Ms*** has expressed her desire that we cease communication regarding this account, we have closed our file on this account and returned it to our client. Ms*** will receive no further communication from Credit Control, LLC with regard to this account

August 3, a Credit Control representative reached out to me stating that the *** *** *** Company had filed an account with them regarding my water bill while I was a resident of the city of StLouis, MOMy address was *** *** *** *** ** ***During the course of our conversation I was told that I owed the City of *** *** *** Division $for an outstanding water billMy water bill was paid in full in and I stated that to the representativeShe stated that the *** *** *** Division had turned over my bill to themIn all actuality, the referenced bill was over paid by $and I received a refund check of $six months after the final bill had been paid

I am in collection to this company for a credit card with a fairly large balance The amount claimed includes a large portion of continued late charges and fees etc Despite stating to the creditor who called me at work to "not call me at work again," I'm still receiving calls from *** ***: I understand this is a violation of the FDCPA Again, this evening, after a very lengthy call in which I repeated they could not call me at work again, I attempted to come to a payment arrangement with themThe question they asked were extremely personal, and I gave all the information they asked foroftentimes, they disputed my answers (further humiliation which was uncalled for)the caller this time was called *** ***While I repeatedly offered to set up a monthly payment, which, while extended over a long period of time, would eventually pay this debt in whole, the creditor continued demanding a settlement for today, and for a huge amount that I do not haveWhile I e

I completed my payments to Credit Control per agreement with payments being deducted from my credit account I requested for a paid in full letter, back in May from *** ***At that time, I was told that it will be sent via email to my address., I checked my Inbox and Spam folders and have not received the letter I requestedI called again just last month (June) requesting the same letterThis time I spoke with a different personShe stated that a letter was sent back in May, but she will send another request to ***, to send me another one via emailI am still waiting on this letterCan someone send this to my home address at *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ***? It seems that email is not working for the 2nd time now....Thank You

We are in receipt of your letter of November 16, forwarding a copy of the complaint filed with your office by Ms***. Upon receipt of your correspondence we investigated the concerns as set forth by Ms***.In reviewing our file, we find that we spoke with Ms*** after this
complaint was received by your office. During our conversation, we were made aware of the dispute that Ms*** referenced in her letter. As a result, we had placed this account into a dispute status, and made our client *** aware of the dispute. After reviewing the matter on their end, *** has recalled this account from our office, thus resolving Ms***'s dispute.Thank you for your assistance in forwarding Ms***'s correspondence to our office and giving us the opportunity to respond to her concerns

Debt collectors must always identify themselves as such in every telephone conversationThey must inform you that any information will be used to collect the debt
The phone call I initially recieved from this company demanded my social security number and name from the get goWhen I asked if they were attempting to collect a debt they refused to tell me the name of their company and if they were attempting to collect a debtThe response was 'This is personal buisness' repeatedlySo I hung up and dialed the number back to see if a different operator would follow the FDCPA and identify the buisness
Of course this time they repeatedly demanded to know if I recieved a letter or a phone call instead of providing me with the information I requested, the name of the buisness alone
I do not give out my social security number over the phoneI do not talk with people who refuse to identify themselves while demanding my own identityAnd I definitely do not deal with agencies that can not follow federal laws regarding my rights
I would hope that this company trains their employees to follow the FDCPA in the futureYou'd have likely recieved a full payment by simply identifying yourself as a debt collector and providing me with your company's name than demanding me to put my information out over the phone and refusing a simple, yet legal request
Had to search the number online that they called me from to find the information out myself

The gentleman I spoke to spoke down to me and refused to stop calling when I asked to receive no more calls

Just received a notice for $ from Credit Control, LLC for *** *** ***.  I have no idea who in the
heck *** *** *** nor do I owe them any money I also never heard of, or heard from Credit Controll in the past They did not provide any details ie date, what is is for, etc

On 2/11/18, this company charged my credit card $ They appear to be a collections agency I do not have any delinquent accounts, do not have a relationship with this company, and they fraudulently charged my credit card I have no idea how they even got the number I'm disputing the charge with my bank

On 1/23/I placed a call to Credit Control LLC at # ***I received a letter with regards to a Credit Card debtOnce on the phone the lady was very rude and wanted a lot of personnel information more then what is needed to verify identityI asked to speak with a managerOnce said manager got on phone he too was rude began speaking of other accounts other then the one I had called about which was mentioned in their letterWhen I refused to discuss anything other then the letterHe began to mention how I had my mortgage modified by a government program and if I was behind on my paymentsClearly he had no right to look through other debt or my credit I did not give him any permission to do so and he violated by privacy

Called ***on March 12, at 7:07pm to pay off a card I owedThe first person I spoke to was a maleHe was very rude and was getting too personalI told him I had to pay off a card and told him I can't pay the full amount at the moment and you can hear him huffing and puffing over the phone as if it bothered him or somethingThen he asked why I wasn't able to pay my cardI told him I was in a financial delay at the momentHe says "delay?" what do you mean a financial delay? I said I didn't have any money to pay my card at the timeHe then goes on to say " Well why didn't you have money?" but was being very rude and sarcastic about itI don't think that is any of his business WHY I didn't have money at the momentHe kept trying to dig in to details when I just wanted to start paying off my cardI did not want to continue conversing with him as he made me feel bad about the situation so I ended the call

I have asked that this company not call my place of employment everytime the representative, *** ***, calls because it is disruptive to my work place which is a prisonNot only does calling create a security risk but I do not have the capability of dealing with personal issues at workWe are not allowed cell phones inside because of these previously listed issues

I get harassing calls from them almost every dayWhen they call they would not speak to me the reason of their callThey would simply introduce the name of the business and start asking personal information like who I am and what my current address isI never give anyone any personal information so I wouldn't cooperate with them I only confirm my name and that's itI asked them so many times what is the reason for their call but they wouldn't say anything just would say if you don't want to confirm your residential address we would call you back and hang up on me'
Can you please help stopping these ridiculous calls?

They are coming after me for a bill that was years old that is no longer on my credit report and I never had a bill with *** ***
They sent me a letter in the mail that states charge off date was may 2005....it is now February meaning the bilk is no longer on my credit reportBut they told me that if I didn't pay them the balance they would have no choice but to report it to the credit agenciesNumber this bill is not mine and number why am I now seeing this bill years after the factMy last name hasn't been *** in yearsNumber why are they threatening me to getting this supposed bill put back on my credit report after its been charged off and was taken off my report years agoNumber how the *** did they get my address since I did not fill out a change of address

I have been paying off a college tuition debt with this company for years I recently noticed that the debt was no longer coming out of my bank account like it always had I have tried numerous time (or 7) to contact this company to get my payments set back up again so I don't have a summery judgement filed against me and have my wages garnished I have both the means and the ability to make payments, and want to Every time my wife or I have called we have been directed to a voicemail box We have left messages every time There has never been a response We have even tried calling *** *** *** directly, and the number they transferred us to was always a direct line to a voicemail box as well We would just like to get payments set back up so we can get this debt taken care of Any help that could be given would be greatly appreciated Thank you
