This company is the absolute worseThe workers are unprofessional and liarsLike most,when I was in college I made a poor choice in getting a credit cardIt ended up with this agencyI spoke to one agent inquiring about online payments they explained my log in wrong timesAfter the fourth "oh maybe you should try xyz" it worked I hung up and that was allI never agreed to make a payment that day or any other day as I do not like to make payment arrangements due to my inconsistency in paychecks at that timeI recorded this conversationSince that day I haven't spoken with another representative conducting all by payments onlinemonths later after making payments when I can (5/months) various amounts ranging from $- $I receive a letter stating I have not made my payment as of x dollars as promised by x dateI don't know if Charla [redacted] thinks she can bully me into a payment plan I've never agreed upon but it will not happenI will follow up this complaint with a formal complaint as wellThis will not and should not be toleratedMaybe it's worked for her in the past, but it stops here

We are in receipt of your email of August 23, 2017, forwarding us a copy of the complaint filed with your office by [redacted] *** Upon receipt of your correspondence we documented this complaint and began our investigation into the concerns raised by the consumer In reviewing the consumer's complaint, it was clear there may be some confusion on the part of the consumer as to who we are, and what this account is in reference to Upon receipt we forwarded a copy to [redacted] Capital Services, the current creditor, to make them aware of the consumer's concerns In addition, we have closed our file on this consumer's accounts, and returned them to our client Credit Control, LLC will perform no further collection activity with regard to these accounts, and will not communicate further with the consumer

Upon receipt of this compliant, I reached out to Mr [redacted] by phone to try to get more information, as I was unable to locate any account on our system under his name Mr [redacted] advised me that he and his grandmother had already touched base with all of the companies they needed to speak with, and it appears that they may have been trying to reach a different company I advised Mr [redacted] that if he does come across anything which leads him to believe that he needs to speak to us that he can contact us directly and we'll be happy to assist him further

I have been receiving several calls from a company named Credit Control LLC which is announcing themselves as a debt collectorThey have provided no explanation, however, as to what specifically they are calling about or any information in writing surrounding what debt they believe is overdue or owed I have verified with all current lenders that I have no debts in collection or overdue, and have also verified on my credit reports that no lenders or creditors are reporting any debts past due or owed I have also filed a complaint with the FTC to make these phone calls stop as I believe this may be some type of scam or shell company operation that is seeking to gather identity information from me for the purpose of identity theft

I have been paying off a college tuition debt with this company for years I recently noticed that the debt was no longer coming out of my bank account like it always had I have tried numerous time (or 7) to contact this company to get my payments set back up again so I don't have a summery judgement filed against me and have my wages garnished I have both the means and the ability to make payments, and want to Every time my wife or I have called we have been directed to a voicemail box We have left messages every time There has never been a response We have even tried calling [redacted] directly, and the number they transferred us to was always a direct line to a voicemail box as well We would just like to get payments set back up so we can get this debt taken care of Any help that could be given would be greatly appreciated Thank you

I was sent a letter stating that my account was past due and they were authorized to offer me the following options 60% of the current balance or $to be paid in payment on or before 11/13/ 70% of the current balance to be paid in consecutive monthly payments of $to begin no later than on or before 11/13/ 80% of the current balance to be paid in consecutive monthly payments of $to begin no later than on or before 11/13/ "Upon completion of one of the above and clearance through the banking system, your account will be considered settled." I opted to use the first option and sent a check for $on 11/9/ I received a letter telling me that I owed $more dollars to Credit Control,LLCIf my account was settled why do I owe $is my question I have gotten no satisfactory answer from the Agency
