Review: Hello,1. I am enrolled in auto pay for my phone and am supposed to be getting a $5.00 discount each month. I noticed that I am not getting it and called today to find out why. I was told that I had to un-enroll and re-enroll because I have had auto pay too long. However, when I disconnected my internet back in early June, I was told that I would be getting that benefit. I have not and should get it all the way back to November, 2012 when the benefit began. Why should I be penalized for doing auto pay even before it was required. When it became available, nobody called me and told me that I had to disconnect and reconnect to get the benefit.2. Why am I being charged in two separate transactions from my checking account? I am charged one amount on the 10th and another on the 16th? Why? Please correct these two matters. I attempted to have them resolved through your customer support number, but the representative was unable to help me and would not transfer me to a supervisor or manager. Thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: Please refund $5.00 per month all the way back to November of 2012, as I met all qualifications for this. Please explain or correct the two different transactions from my account.

Re: [redacted]

Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted]

Cricket Account No: [redacted]

Dear Sir/Madam,

This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by [redacted] regarding a refund. In her complaint, Ms. [redacted] states that she is enrolled in auto bill pay and is supposed to be receiving a $5.00 discount each month. When she noticed that she was not receiving the discount, she called for assistance and was told that she needed to un-enroll and then re-enroll for this discount to apply. Ms. [redacted] also states that she is being charged two separate times for her monthly bill. She requests a refund of $5.00/month dating back to November of 2012 and to correct the separate transactions on her account each month.

We apologize to Ms. [redacted] for any inconvenience or poor service she felt she received. Cricket strives to provide excellent customer service and we regret when that high standard is not met.

While we apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused Ms. [redacted], it will be necessary for her to call 1-800-274-2538 or visit her nearest Cricket corporate owned store to re-enroll in the auto bill pay program. Regrettably, we are unable to issue a refund for the $5.00/month discount that Ms. [redacted] should have been receiving, as credits of this type are non-refundable. However, we are able to apply a credit in the amount of $45.00 to Ms. [redacted]’s account for the past nine months that she should have been receiving the auto bill pay discount. This credit was applied on August 2, 2013, and will be reflected on Ms. [redacted]’s bill due on August 16, 2013.

After reviewing Ms. [redacted]’s account, we have discovered that two separate transactions occur each month that are applied towards her total amount due. One transaction is completed via auto bill pay, while the other is completed as a cash transaction. Again, we encourage Ms. [redacted] to visit her nearest Cricket corporate store where she can re-enroll in the auto bill pay program and receive assistance to correct the multiple transactions reflecting on her account. The nearest Cricket corporate store to Ms. [redacted] is located at:

Review: I bought a new phone from Cricket that came with a $50 rebate form. I was supposed to receive the rebate 4 weeks later, but I did not receive it. I checked on the status of the rebate online and it said that it was declined. I called the rebate center and they said that I had not sent in the receipt, which I had. I was told to fax the receipt in that day and I would be approved, which I did on Oct. 20 (1 and 1/2 months after I mailed the rebate initially). I called the rebate center again today and told that the rebate had been declined again due to service interruption within 45 days of activation which was untrue. I was transferred to customer service and spoke with [redacted]. He in turn called the rebate center with me on the line and spoke with [redacted] then said that my service had not been interrupted and therefore the rebate would be approved but I would have to wait an additional four weeks for the rebate. [redacted] and [redacted] were very helpful with the situation and I appreciate their help; however, Cricket customer service is a joke and it seems like the purposely make things harder for their customers and then lie to them to not have to pay them.Desired Settlement: I would like for Cricket to be held accountable for their actions and to not be able to get away with this kind of behavior. It is unacceptable for big corporations to behave in this manner and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Review: With the new buy out of Cricket wireless by [redacted] Cricket members are being told that our Android phones purchased under the Cricket account will be obsolete and useless as of 4/2015. According to Cricket ([redacted]) correspondence as of the buyout, [redacted] are the only phones that will be able to cross over from one network to the other.

My boyfriend and I paid over $1200.00 for 2 [redacted] Galaxy S4 phones. One in December 2013 and one in January 2014. At the time of purchase we were told that the buyout would not affect these phones and that they were new enough to handle any change over that would occur as a result of the buyout. Additionally Cricket ([redacted]) is still marketing and selling these phones as well as many others that will be obsolete by 4/2015. The phones were not only the new hot item from [redacted] but were recommended by Cricket as their premium android phone. I am also finding that because of the [redacted] phones being sold as carrier specific which means they are locked into one carrier. They are not unlockable which would allow the phones to be used with other carriers. Apparently carrier specific phones are locked for life.

I purchased another Cricket phone for my daughter in February 2014 ([redacted]), which again I was told was a phone that would be usable with the change over, and again recommended as such. Again this phone will not be able to transition over. At the time I purchased my daughters phone (Feb 2014) I changed over to a family plan which offered 5 lines for $100. This month I purchased a phone for my son (private party sale) and when I attempted to have it activated on my plan (I only have 3 of the 5 lines in use) I was told that Cricket ([redacted]) no longer allows additional lines on any plan, and that I would have to purchase a new line of service. This makes me furious as other Cricket customers who already had all 5 lines in use are not being told they have to change their plan to accommodate the use of the total allowable (5) lines. How can I have the same plan and not be allowed to use what I am paying for?

Account_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement: Refund or replace my devices with usable equipment.Enable my full family plan options (allow me to add up to 5 lines).

Review: I switched to Verizon and they switched my number from cricket to verizon for me. After that I had no Cricket number. Apparently without a Cricket number they make it impossible to cancel service. When I tried to cancel service there was no way to do so as far as I can tell. Without my current Cricket # they would not help me over the phone and there was literally no way to cancel on the web site without entering my account which they could not locate because I had switched my number so technically I had no Cricket phone number anymore. It seems as if I am going to ave to visit a cricket store in order to cancel which I think is ridiculous.Desired Settlement: I would like the Revdex.com to contact Cricket and tell them about this complaint so that they might not put future customer through this ordeal

Review: Cricket billed me (because I am set up on auto bill pay for services that I did not utilize (billed ahead of the month used). Was told there was a no refund policy (though 2 of their people researched getting me a refund, before telling me this). I can understand their policy if service started, but it was transfered to another carrier, who cancelled the service prior to it starting.Basically, stealing money for services not rendered.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of billed services for non-use of service!

Cricket Account No: [redacted]

Dear Sir/Madam,

This correspondence is in reference to a complaint filed by [redacted] regarding a refund for Cricket service. In her complaint, Ms. [redacted] states that she was enrolled in Auto Bill Pay. She states that she transferred her service to another carrier, but was billed for the upcoming month. She states that Cricket denied her request for a refund. She is requesting that a refund be provided for the services she did not use.

We apologize to Ms. [redacted] for any inconvenience or poor service she felt she received. Cricket strives to provide excellent customer service and we regret when that high standard is not met.

In reviewing Ms. [redacted]’s account, we are able to see that her Automatic Bill Payment was withdrawn on June 4, 2013 which is the same date that she disconnected her Cricket service. We are able to verify that the service was disconnected before the upcoming bill cycle date of June 5, 2013 therefore we have issued a refund in the amount of $52.60. The confirmation number for this refund transaction is [redacted]. It may take 3-5 business days for this refund to appear on Ms. [redacted]’s credit or debit card.

We thank Ms. [redacted] for her communication and trust that this action properly addresses her complaint.

Review: I was having an issue with where once my phone number was transferred from a different carrier it would not make or receive calls. After dealing with helpful and polite people on the phone I was told to simply take it to the store to have it flashed. I went to my nearest corporate on dec 8 2013 store by the galleria mall in [redacted] ny. it was around 1:00 and as I entered both associates where to busy watching the football game to even greet me or acknowledge that I walked in the store. After I finally got their attention, the employe looked at my account with another eye still on the game and told me he didn't know what to do since my phone was already on cricket service.I tried to explain that I called customer service and was told that all they had to do was reactivate it and he said well I don't know how to do that and we can't service flashed phones I don't know how.Frustrated,I simply left and neither employee seemed to care as they went back to watching the game. I have never had worse customer service in my life.I am not one to complain but these guys really didn't even try to help and it left a very bad impression on a customer coming from another company.I was considering bringing my wife and 4 kids on cricket but after that experience I'm not sure I want to stay myself.Desired Settlement: I would like to see some action taken to improve in store costumer service .there are to many other carriers out there for this and I am now paying for a phone that can not make or receive calls.

Review: I purchased this Phone and case for a gift at the Barberton Cricket store [redacted] Barberton, Ohio 44302 from the manager [redacted] as it was a gift I paid a total of 126.99 there number is [redacted], I returned that day 10/08/14 to return it the person I bought it for didn't want it they had another phone. So I looked on the receipt there is no return policy anywhere, I looked in the store no return policy posted on walls, no return policy on the counter , no was I verbally instructed on any return policy. He called his District Manager [redacted] and he told me he couldn't give me anything back on service, I told him in the State of Ohio you can return anything with in three days unless you post a policy, so then he texted his DISTRICT mANAGER and then I was told that out of the 126.99 I would get back like 26 bucks, because now they were charging me a restocking charge of 25.00 I told him show me where does it say that he couldn't provide anything or even a handout on a return policy he told me the best thing to do was go sell it myself on [redacted]. This is ridiculous I have made three calls to corporate they told me that there is a 7 day return policy but the store says no. What else can I doDesired Settlement: This is no different than cable pre paying for services I expect 100% refund of my money they have no posted policy or is it on the receipt. There is nothing anywhere that says you can't return cases or phones or that there is a restocking charge.

Review: I received an email from Cricket on 11/27/13, advising me of specials on all Android smartphones, I had been looking into 4G service from several providers, and decided to purchase a 4G phone from Cricket. At time of purchase, 4G service was not yet rolled out in San Diego, but rollouts were beginning to actively happen around the country, and the website assured all visitors that these roll outs would continue.I received and activated my phone on December 2, 2013. I was advised that my phone would operate on their 4G service, once they rolled it out here. -I would not have purchased or accepted the phone otherwise.Since then, 4G service has not rolled out here. In fact, the coverage maps do not indicate that ANY new coverage areas have been rolled out since I purchased my phone. On May 18th of this year (2014), the company announced that they would not rollout any new areas with the current CDMA technology. Instead, they have decided to switch to GSM technology, which is incompatible with the phone they sold me. They have never(and will never) provided me with 4G service on the device they sold me for it. Not only that, but they are cutting off existing sub-par coverage on March of 2015 -less than two years after I purchased the phone. The company is not offering a trade for a compatible model. They accept gen[redacted] phone trade-ins for NEW accounts, but the credit is so little that I would quite literally pay MORE for the GSM version of the SAME phone I have -even after the trade in credit. This is unreasonable and unfair. Changes like this do not occur overnight, but consumers were not advised of these plans. I was never offered a choice between CDMA or GSM, nor was I ever given reason to believe this would be a concern. I purchased this phone in good faith that Cricket would provide the service they promised, they have not. And they have since advised that they will not.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for my purchase, or a straight exchange for the GSM model of the equipment I was sold -They now sell the SAME model (Samsung Galaxy S4) in GSM. I should not have to pay additional for this, as the company assured me that my prior purchase would be supported under their 4G coverage.

Review: I have tried repeatedly to cancel my month to month phone service but cannot! It is false advertising to offer month to month service and not allow the customer to cancel. I tried to cancel it online but there is no option to do so. I also tried calling several different times but the first few times I got the automated run around and the 2 times I got to speak to people they barely spoke English. One lady I talked to kept trying to get me to agree to terms and conditions in order to cancel the phone and when I told her I didn't understand she told me that if I did not agree she would not cancel my service. I have had to cancel my credit card so that I can not be billed further for the month to month phone I can not cancel.Desired Settlement: I would like the service canceled. I would also like the current month they just billed refunded.

Review: I was out of town for MY MOTHERS FUNERAL and didn't make it back in time to pay my "bridge pay". I went to a cricket location near my job and they took my payment and said my phone would be turned back on. It was not. They refunded my 20.00 with no problem. I called 611 and the nice lady gave me an extension. wish I got her name she was nice.So when I call to on Monday to see if I have to pay just the 20 or the whole 40. the man on the other end is RUDE.I explained I was out of town for MY MOTHERS FUNERAL and why do I have to pay the whole 40 that I can pay the bridge pay now like I tried to do before. Long story short I was fed up and wanted a supervisor. I said if Im gonna pay all that I should just go to a different carrier. He said No problem. I asked again for a supervisor after I got his name [redacted] and instead he said I didnt need a supervisor.. He said he was gonna connect me to the cancellation dept instead cuz I was more than welcome to cancel my account. REALLY? is that good customer service? he connected me also after I asked for supervisor 2x. I am shocked and appalled that someone in customer service could treat someone who just lost their mother with no respect. I am hurt and talked well more like cried to another supervisor. My phone will be going off after today and I would rather be without a phone then deal with a company who has such rude and ignorant employees. Ive never experienced anything like that.Especially in such a trying time.

Additional information added:

first I want to say the only good thing cricket has going for them is a guy who works in corporate named shawn lelani. he has always helped me. I was against switching to the new cricket but I did anyway. I have other issues but my main one now is I had asked before I switched about changing my number which I was told was free. now when I call to change my number Im being told I have to pay 15.00 I was told this after I waited 35 mins to talk to someone..another 5 minutes to get a supervisor... who I then asked to speak to someone else he said no one was available and when I asked his name he said hold please and hung up. 45 minutes out of my day gone. this was monday dec 1,2014 at about 1;15pm or so. im so over cricket and think I should go elsewhere. its always a problemDesired Settlement: I'm not exactly sure but I would like to know if someone talks to this gentleman and let him now that HE lost a customer, I may just be one in the pool of many but YOU DON'T TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT WHEN THEY SUFFER A LOSS!!!!!

Additional information added:

I really don't know. I just know that cricket needs to know their customer service sucks!!!!

Review: We lived in the Las Vegas area for 4 years.(this is our permanent address) This past April we moved to Beaver Utah for my husband job. I purchased their HTC 4GLTE prior to our move($600), telling the sales rep where we were moving and explained that Las Vegas was our permanent home residence. The sales rep said as long as we were on auto-pay I could retain my number and all my service would remain the same. Today my phone would not let me call out. I could only receive text messages and no internet signal at all. I called cricket and talk to [redacted] in customer service. He told me I would have to buy another new phone and I would also have to change my phone number and pay for more additional minutes even though I currently have unlimited minutes and data.Desired Settlement: Since I will have to go with a new wireless company and repurchase another new phone, I would like the $600 I spent on this phone returned to me.

Review: My complain is two-fold1-On 7/08/14 I migrated 1 of my 4 cricket lines to the "new cricket" AIO. When I purchased my Nokia Lumina 520 online from cricket wireless, I paid $50.00 for the phone plus $50.00 for a months service. The bill for the remaining lines with the "original" cricket was also due on 7/08/14. I contacted cricket at that time as the bill reflected four lines when in should have been three. I was told at that time that I needed to pay the entire bill(for the four lines)if not the service would be interrupted. The person on the other end of the phone did not seem to understand what I was trying to explain to her. I made the payment but I continued calling & querying why I had been charged twice for for the same phone. I finally spoke with someone who informed me that a month's service would be credited on my August bill. Well needless to say this never happened. On 8/8/14 the service on my AIO account was cut. I made several calls on 8/8 to AIO as well as the "original cricket" & have been making calls since then only to get the run around. Cricket is saying they know nothing about any credit & AIO is saying they know nothing. Several times I've called & put on "hold", only to be disconnected. This is very frustrating. I've been a loyal cricket customer since they first began providing service to Maryland in 2009 but this is very disheartening. I spoke with someone today 8/11/14 at cricket(original) Mr [redacted] who was very courteous. He informed me that a credit was applied but will not be credited for 30days. He advised me that he would be documenting this information in the system so that AIO could view it. Mr [redacted]. recommended I call AIO back after ending our call & have them contact the original cricket directly so that they could verify what he told me. I did so but was told that there was no such information documented.2- When I ordered the phone online I was told that there would be a $50.00 rebate which I was not sent any info on & never receivedDesired Settlement: I am not asking for anything more than what I am due. I would like my $50.00 rebate as advertised & I would like the $50.00 +tax which I was made to pay twice.

Review: Before ordering online went to satellite cricket store and inquired on coverage area and told was covered for area code 85736 and had 15 days to try service then got online to look at detailed coverage map on Cricket site. satisfied my area of use would be covered, ordered online on July 14th. Phone arrived and picked up on 17th but could not get service started so went to factory Cricket store where it was activated for me there. returned to home where the first call was made and dropped after a minute and was never able to make another call in the area phone just said "no service" I drove about two or three miles toward town and was finally able to make calls but all were dropped after only seconds so went to town to factory store to cancel service. I was given a 1-800 number to call and connected to India where I discussed the problem with service I agreed to a 25% restocking charge and was redirected to a line with nothing but a series of electronic clicks, whispers, faint voices and finally a female voice asked if she could help me. I told her I needed a case number for a return. there was no reply and I waited for 10 or 15 minutes finally wnt and gave phone to cricket agent who waited so long he hung up and called again this went on for two hours and 45 minutes with holds for very long times the agent finally got to speak with someone but was unable to get a case number for the return he tried and tried to reach someone to get a RA number and was unable to. finally the store was closing and we left.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the amount of payment $113.00.. Review: On Wednesday, February 12th I changed my phone service provider from [redacted] to Cricket Wireless. I asked Cricket to port my old phone number as it is my business number and it is imperative for my business that I maintain that number. On Friday, February 14th Cricket cancelled my old number in order to port it to my new phone. I was told it would take up to 4 hours to port my old cell number, but come Saturday my the number was still not recovered. When I called Cricket again on Saturday they said the matter would be resolved in 24 hours. On Sunday when I followed up with them again I was told their tech support does not work on weekends, but would be available on Monday. When I called them Monday morning at approximately 11am ET I was told they could not reach their tech support and it is possible they were not working due to the holiday. I asked for the tech support number so I could call them directly, and they answered immediately and told me they were in fact working but could not resolve my issue because they only have an account with Cricket. When I once again called Cricket I told them that tech support was working and asked them to call tech support while I held on the line. After speaking to tech support the Cricket representative told me they would resolve my issue within 30 minutes and I would be contacted by Cricket wireless to verify this. At almost 8:00 pm on Monday evening I once again contacted Cricket and explained that I need my old phone number for my business, reminded them that it was not me who cancelled my old number but was in fact them who cancelled it, and asked them to finally resolve the issue and contact me like they had promised several times previously. In the time since THEY cancelled my old number I have missed contact with both current and potential clients, and I have potentially lost thousands of dollars in revenue.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that Cricket Wireless recover my old business number ([redacted] and apply it to my new phone/service plan like they have promised several times previously. I cannot afford to go any longer without this number as it is my main point of contact with both current and future clients. I am also requesting that they keep me posted of their progress in this matter as they have promised to do every day yet have failed to act on.

They gave me a handset that was an imitation to the one I paid for. They merged my account with another handset, but yet "I" was the one responsible for the monthly payment. MONTHS went by, I kept filing FCC complaints. Finally, due to all the violations against me, missed phone calls, blocked phone calls, other women answering my calls for me, other people crossing the line to use my line; I requested a refund for 7 months of service. They denied it. Finally, I left the country for 7 weeks. Once I arrived back, my phone number, [redacted], was no longer mine because I chose not to pay them. So, I got a NEW number, and Cricket Wireless gave me ###-###-####. They placed me on a plan that does not allow me to text internationally to Panama because someone in Panama is using my phone. And this is against the law. They have violated all my privacy rights once again. I just do not know what to do, other than to file this complaint with the Revdex.com because FCC does NOTHING about this crime. I pay them ON TIME, and they keep allowing people to add Trusted Credentials to my phone, they allow random people to change my voice mail password, they keep blocking calls from my children, and this is just not right. The Wireless Company is indeed expanding, but on that same token, not abiding to their Terms and Conditions.Desired Settlement: At this point, lets just report it to the Revdex.com, but if this keeps on, then I'll push for a FULL REFUND and not give up after a bogus letter on Cricket Letterhead Paper.

Review: My husband and I switched to cricket about 6 months ago. Since day one we had problems with our force phone and had to get them replaced! They said it was 4g service but about more than half the time shows 1x once in a while will show 3g but when I go on facebook error message network not available. When I can go on I timed 3-4 minutes to be able to read one post or a few comments. If I would like to see a pic the phone takes longer to up load. I can never watch a short video without having to buffer every two second and that can take 4-5 min so a 3 min video can take up to 15 min to watch! Our calls are always dropped. If he's in Indiana and tried to call me then he will be charged roaming charges but no problems when he calls other people on different providers. The list goes on and on. We wasted money buying these phones now we have to find another company and spend more money on different phones. Oh and our phone freezes or just shuts off on its own. I have to re dial my husband sometime 3 times in a row because phone just hangs up before dialing then I have to text him to call me so I can talk to him. What a mess...Desired Settlement: Stop lying to people and telling them you have 4g or even 3g service! Tell the trueth . Tell people its as slow as dial up!

Review: I went to purchase a $300 phone from cricket wireless on [redacted], Houston, Texas. We went through with the payment process and then the salesperson begin to connect the phone and it didn't work. So I asked her to get another phone from the back and see if it turn on, she did and it worked. I told her that's the phone I want. She told me I can't get the newer phone without paying a restocking fee. I told her I shouldn't have to pay a restocking, because the phone didn't work at the time of purchase. I asked for a full refund to take my business somewhere else. She replied, "I would lose up to $45 dollars, if she gave me a refund". She also told me to take the phone charged it up fully and bring it back within 7 days. I refuse to pay 300+ dollars for anything that's not working properly from the beginning of purchase. I asked for a full refund and she call several people and still refuse to give me a refund and I never walked out the store with the phone, I just don't understand. I called the 1-800 number and no help what so ever. Make sure your phone work before paying! I left Cricket [redacted] Houston without phone and no refund.Desired Settlement: I was charged $328.09. So I'm requesting a refund of $303.09 minus the $25 upgrade fee. I went and purchase the phone from another store and wasn't charged another upgrade fee.

Revdex.com

Review: I had prepaid my cricket plan over 3 weeks ahead for service from 5-16-14 to 6-16-14 and then cancelled my cricket plan on 5-1-14 because I was offered a better phone and plan that was less money and the new plan actually worked at my home. the cricket plan had no contract and I thought that cricket would refund the over payment for service I would not get. When I contacted them to get my overpayment refunded, they said their policy was to never refund any prepaid funds even if I had paid a year in advance, they would just keep it. I can see why they don't belong to the Revdex.com! The amount in question is $39.59 If you could help me, that would be appreciated, if not thanks anyhow! [redacted] I'm glad that your here for consumers!!!Desired Settlement: refund check from cricket wireless for $39.59 to me, they have my information. thanks again, [redacted]
