Steve K*** with Cross Country Mortgage and his team were truly a blessing to me during my first home buying experience Steve took his time to educate me on what I was doing every step of the wayHe even paid for me to take a “what to expect” during the home buying process course that was very helpful Steve was there to answer my questions at a moments notice even during weekend and evening hours He never had me wait longer than an hour to provide what I neededIf he wasn’t available his team members were there for me just as much Always encouraging and kind serviceI have recommended Steve and his team to several people already and will continue to do soI’ve never felt more at ease and taken care of through a major life decision

RE: CROSSCOUNTRY MORTGAGE, INC.’S RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT NO. ***
*** ***,
Please let the following serve as
CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc.’s (CrossCountry) response to *** ***’s consumer complaint, complaint no.***
First and foremost, *** *** is not CrossCountry’s customerCrossCountry’s customer is the buyer who entered into a purchase contract with *** *** for the property at *** *** *** *** *** ***The buyer was seeking a mortgage loan to finance the transaction
Second, *** *** alleges that CrossCountry was responsible for an unauthorized withdrawal from his or possible his company, *** *** *** *** checking accountCrossCountry strongly denies this allegation
On May 5, 2014, CrossCountry sent an e-mail to the appraisal management company, *** ***, to set up the appraisal of the propertyIn that e-mail, CrossCountry directed *** *** to contact *** *** directly to arrange the appraisal and payment*** *** was provided *** ***’s phone number, ***The phone number provided to *** ***, ***, matches the phone number provided by *** *** on your complaint form
On May 6, 2014, *** *** called *** *** at the phone number provided by CrossCountryDuring that phone call, *** *** provided *** *** his *** *** checking account information and verbal authorization to charge it the cost of the appraisal, $At that time, *** *** also entered the information into its accounting software which was set up to generate an e-mail receipt for the charge to the account provided by *** ***, ***
On May 7, 2014, *** *** submitted the chargeOn May 8, 2014, the funds were withdrawn from *** ***’s accountAlso on May 8, 2014, *** *** had a conversation with *** *** regarding the purchase contractThe conversation was documented in a May 8, e-mail from *** *** to *** ***On May 9, 2014, *** *** responded to *** ***’s email (from ***)
Given this time-line and the supporting emails and receipts, it appears to CrossCountry that *** *** did in fact provide his account information to *** *** and authorized the chargeApparently, *** ***’s bank, *** ***, agreed with this assessment as it indicated in its July 16, letter to *** *** that “The originator has denied the request for a late return and has provided proof of authorization.” *** *** included a copy of the July 16th letter as part of his complaint to the State of ***’s Division of Financial Institutions
Other than putting *** *** in direct contact with *** ***, CrossCountry had no involvement in the chargeAt no point did CrossCountry have knowledge of *** ***’s checking account and at no point did CrossCountry provide any information to *** *** about *** ***’s *** *** account
*** ***’s allegations are patently and his complaint is merely an attempt to obtain a refund because the appraisal process was not meeting his expectations
Third, *** *** also alleges that CrossCountry was responsible for altering the purchase contract and forging his initials on the sameCrossCountry strongly denies this allegationCrossCountry interviewed the borrower/buyer on August 27, and she confirmed that both the buyer and the seller had agreed to reduce the price to $119,CrossCountry spoke with *** *** on August 28, in an attempt to clarify the purchase price, but he refused to provide itOtherwise, CrossCountry has no evidence that suggests the purchase contract was amended by anyone other than the parties thereto

We are trying to purchase a homeWe signed our purchase agreement on 5-29-Our loan manager at CrossCountry Mortgage promised us it would be fast tracked and would only take a few weeksHe lied to us for weeks saying it was in underwriting, when it had never actually wentWe had to file and extension on the contract because we were supposed to have a conditional approval within days of signing, we didntOur contract ran out after days and had to be extended because CCM did nothing with itNo one will return our callsMyself, our realtor, his boss, their office manager, and now the title company are not getting through to this company or getting called backVoice mailboxes are fullWe were supposed to sign on the house yesterdayOver months of lies, no answers, and being stuck in limbo with no way outWe still dont even know if we were approved for the loanOur original sign date was July 2, But no one could get ahold of this company and get final numbers f

Simon T*** was the best loan office that I had the pleasure doing business withHe was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful with the questions and concerns I had throughout the entire loan process He was able to find a loan that fit my goals and offered his many years of experience to help me make a decision on the right loanSimon T*** was able to get my loan closed in record time as he promisedHe has a very good team to support him which allowed him to provide a pleasant experience throughout the processI would definitely recommend anyone who needs a home refinance or purchase loan to use Simon T***He comes highly recommended

The company representative (Andrew ***) purposely misguided me to get me to sign up for a refinance on my mortgageI was promised my escrow money from my previous mortgage holder would be sent to me and after weeks when I called to check on it I found out that Cross Country had taken the moneyI gave them several opportunities to do the right thing and I was basically told sorry your money is gonei would never do business that way I would recommend anyone who wants to be treated fairly to use a different company

The mortgage refinance process with Cross Country Mortgage and Andrew Matkovic exceeded my expectationsIt was smooth, simplistic and exceptionally customer service driven

Simon T*** at CrossCountry Mortgage made our refinance as hassle free as possible We closed fast and will be saving a lot on the refinance Very enjoyable experience

On May this year I closed on a home in *** **, with CrossCountry Mortgage Incas my mortgage providerDuring the closing process, CrossCountry Mortgage Incfailed to accurately disclose my closing costs, omitting some $8,for summer taxes (my mortgage includes an escrow account with a monthly payment toward property taxes and homeowner's insurance)I was assured by CrossCountry Mortgage Incthat all necessary costs were included at closing and that I would have a fixed monthly payment moving forwardI based my future monthly expenditures on that assurance, trusting that CrossCountry Mortgage Inchad correctly calculated my closing costs and future monthly payments
CrossCountry Mortgage Incthen sold my mortgage to *** BankIn August, *** informed me there was a shortfall on my escrow account of around $7,500, as the bank had paid the summer taxes, which should have been included in my closing costs
I approached CrossCountry Mortgage Inc and the titl

As a first time home buyer I was unsure at certain points of the home buying process, Andrew and the team at Cross Country Mortgage were there to answer any questions and make the process simple and easy

I've financed and refinanced several properties over many years and I've never experienced better service than I have with Andrew! I have referred others to him and would use him again and again!!!

I apply for a morgage with cross country Ryan B*** was helping me Want to pull my credit 1st of all he never called to let me know what it was I had to call him several times email him text them before you find me call me back to let me know basically that my credit is too low and he can not help meI said OK can you send me a copy of the credit report so I could see what I'm looking at yes I will email it to youDays went by nothing again keep texting emailing it takes a long time to get him on the phone when he finally text me back he tells me to get my own credit report because the system is now allowing him to send it to me which I know is bullHe was very unprofessional a had no courtesy at allI absolutely would not recommend this guy unless you have perfect credit

Steve and the rest of the Cross Country Mortgage staff were absolutely amazing! They were so thorough and helpful every step of the waySteve works around the clock and is always available, allowing him to stay one step ahead of the gameHe helped me close on my house in less than weeks and made the process painless! Andrew and Michelle did an excellent job of answering my questions and concerns They were very efficient getting the paperwork processed and the loan processed as well I would definitely recommend Cross Country to family and friends looking for mortgage needsThey also return any phone calls or email immediately

Andrew M*** did an outstanding job from start to finish with securing my loanI will happily and enthusiastically recommend Andy to others that are looking for a mortgage brokerDue to my challenging personal portfolio, he took what turned out to be an obstacle ridden process and successfully navigated me through to a successful conclusion In every single step, he proved to be patient, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and consistently available to me I sincerely thank him for making this whole experience as good as it could be

I had probably the worst case scenario for a lender when it came to trying to get a home loanI went through a few lenders that built up my hopes with their "we can do anything" words but then just let me down after finding out my situationA friend told me about Simon T*** so I gave him a call and explained my situationHe took the time to hear me out entirely and then he was hard at work trying to find a way for my situation to work when trying for a home loanHe was always in constant contact with me either by phone or by mail even working overtime sometimes till late hours of the night an then calling before leaving the office just to keep me updated He was very patient with all of my millions of questions I had about everything because I knew nothing, being a first time home buyer! Not only was my situation a tricky one because I'm disabled and don't have a large "typical " income and there was a thrird party so to speak involved but my credit wasn't great either but simon saw it all as a challenge and tackled it head on from the start!! This man and his team at Cross County Mortgage are amazing and genuinely care about their clients and making it possible for them to have the same hopes and dreams as others when it comes to owning a homeThey work around the clock to find creative ways to get you approved for a home loan no matter what your situation is and if they can't then they don't lead you on with hopeHonesty is valued with Simon T***!!! I will and would recommend Simon T*** to ANY BODY who is looking for a home loan or who's been turned away by other lendersNo matter what your situation, give Simon and his team a chance and I bet you he can get it done! I will recommend friends and family for years to come to take all thier home loan, refinance or creative leading needs to Simon T*** at Cross County Mortgage!

Steve K*** and CrossCountry Mortgage were great from day one Communication was on point and the entire process was painless Steve was always available for questions and when it was time to close it went extremely smooth Was able to close in only days after inspection! Would definitely recommend

This company stopped paying my homeowners insurance out of my escrow account, which led to me recieving a cancellation letter from esuranceI called my lender about tome in the last weeks trying to figure out what is going on The customer service rep is never a loan officer and they just ask for me to leave my number and someone would get back to meAFTERweeks I called the business main office and the same thing happenI paid my homeowner insurance out of pocketMy policy is up for renewal august and I still have not spoke to anyone.I have made all of my mortgsge payments on time

All service members stay away!!! Went to them in a hardship got down to under writing and they transferred our loan and didn't even send the paper work and that made our new lender go even more back in payment because had to start the process all over again!!! Don't trust them!!!! They dont work with you it care about you or your home!!!! DONT TRUST!!! ALL MILITARY FAMILIES STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
