My experience with CrossCountry was a living nightmareMy credit score was over which is only achievable with being honest and being financially aware We have bought and sold houses in our years of marriage so we are not amateurs in the real estate businessThis was the most unprofessional experience everThey locked in an interest rate for us that of course had a day limitBy day they were still were asking for more info and floundering around to finish the transactionWe were answering all questions immediately or within a couple of days as info became availableStill they required us to pay an additional fee for a new lock in rate It took an additional weeks to closeWe paid $for the inspection, which is exorbitant The inspection was not done until a week before the original closing date and they required a lot of work be doneWe supplied the name of a local contractor that had a good reputation in our area but they insisted on getting someone with an established following or contact followingThey approved and we hired someone who was a smooth talking fraud from the startHis only recommendation was that he had done work thru *** *** It took him about moto finish the work he had promised would be done in the required daysUnder pressure from the CrossCountry agent we were working with, we offered to have the inspection and disclosed the exact status of our repair workShe said she called the inspector and described our situation and was told that would be acceptableHe charged an additional $to do the second inspection and then failed it for the same things we had told them aboutIt was finished about days later and the final inspection was done for a final fee of another $There were other actions that were questionable at best if not illegalThey insisted on knowing why we were buying a second home and why my husband and I don't live together They do not honor what the underwriter accepts causing delays and confusionThe corporate office solution to every problem was something that cost more than what the underwriter acceptedAll in all it was a month nightmare that was VERY expensiveI DO NOT recommend this company to anyone

I worked with Roy S*** at the Mansfield branch and could not be happierHe was wonderful, personable, and kept us in the loopWe couldn't be happier in our new home!

Think twice about doing business with this company Very greedy company, my loan has been less the 75% original LTV for a while they have refuse to cancel my PMI When I demand that they cancel it, they transferred my account to some other company, I guess not to lose a few dollars Now I have to start the process with another companyThus, avoid them if you can

My husband is Veteran and we did a VA loan refinance with this companyCrossCountry Mortgage was suppose to pay for the cost of the CL-letter which cost $and was required to close the loanWe closed our loan on May 27th or 28thThe cost of the CL-has yet to be paidI ended up paying for it, and am trying to recoup my moneyThis has been going on for a month and I have been working with one of the loan officers for a week and the manager of the branch Jim M*** has yet to do anything

Highly recommend Cross CountryAndrew put me at ease everytime I called during a very stressful timeNothing was ever "we can't do that" and he never made me feel like I was bothering himI could call him times about the same question and he treated it like I was calling the first time

These folks are the bestThey recruited my refi business the day after I discharged my Chapter bankruptcyThey respected that we had successfully made it through years of BK and were in good standing nowThen we ran into some problems with paperwork and my existing lender--but they powered through cheerfully and we got it doneCan't say enough good things about their Colorado office--they bent over backwards to problem solve, dedicated to getting it doneThe terms and financials were competitive--they didn't gouge me or try to tell me what a bad risk I was because of the BKThey genuinely want to make people happyAnd they didThanks Derrick and Sara!

Shane N*** was amazing!! Answered every question and walked me through the whole process Very personable and felt like he was a family friend!

I have now worked with Simon T*** on two different property's loan refinances and must say that I am very pleased with the professional, efficient and quick loan process Having worked with Simon in the past, I knew I was getting the reliability and honesty that I needed to be able to trust in order to make such an important financial decision for my family As with any purchase or refinance, there is a large amount of paperwork involved, but Simon was exceptional at getting the I's dotted and the T's crossed to help streamline the process The products that were available to me for both of my loans were better than the competitive market had available and that was among the reasons that made the choice very easy to go with Simon and CrossCountry Mortgage Overall, I am very pleased with the whole process from start to finish and very much appreciate the savings that I can look forward to moving forward!

I'm contracting you with great frustration of the poor services we have received from Cross Country Mortgage; after receiving notice of a New Home Loan approval for *** *** ***; ** *** **  *** *** and I have experienced: inconsistent information, redundant processing, since February we’ve received closing dates with February, March & April, ignored calls, sent excessive emails, texts and made lots of calls for statuses that have gone nowhere!!! We have also experienced the different closing cost ranging from $8,- $21,finally falling back to $8,estWe have been told that our application has gone from one underwriter to anotherIn addition, we were told that the approved account was sent to their Quality Control department for sign off Clear-to-Close We have since been told by the builder (*** ***) that if the home did have a clear-to-close by April 6, that our 'SOLD' sign would be replaced by a 'FOR SALE' sign AS OF Apr

RE: CROSSCOUNTRY MORTGAGE, INC.’S RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT NO. [redacted]

[redacted],

Please let the following serve as...

CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc.’s (CrossCountry) response to complaint no. [redacted].

The consumer’s sole complaint is that the residential mortgage loan process took too long. The time frame for closing this particular file was dictated by two factors. First, the consumer did not initially qualify for the loan. In March of 2014 when the application was initially made the consumer had an unsatisfactory credit score. Later and after some credit consulting, his score improved and the loan was able to move forward (submitted to underwriting in May of 2014). Second, once in underwriting it was determined that a new appraisal was needed, that an addendum was needed to the purchase agreement to bring the price in line with the appraisal and that updated bank statements were needed from the customer. Meeting these conditions took time to complete (June and July, 2014). For example, it took the consumer nearly a month to produce updated bank statements. The loan did close August 1, 2014.

While the customer is frustrated by the length of the loan process, the length of time was dictated by the unique facts and circumstances of his application.

Mrs.[redacted] made my refinance a smooth an easy transaction. She gave me any assistance I needed and answered all my question s promptly. I was astounded by Mrs. [redacted] professionalism and honesty. She was a true joy to work with. I will let my co workers and friends that are looking to refinance also all about cross-country and Mrs. [redacted]. Because they treated me as individual and not like a another number.

The loan officer, Stephanie, was gracious, polite, extremely helpful and patient throughout our loan process! She walked us though it, helping us on every level of the process. She was quick to reply, day and night with a cherry positive attitude! She always made my day brighter, and took the stress off my experience! I highly recommend her for your loan needs, and getting you the best rate in a professional manner. When the loan ended, I actually missed working with her ;shes that sweet and friendly!

Dear [redacted]; I wish to reply to each and every paragraph in Cross Country Mortgage response. Also I am sending documents attached. As you know some of the same complaints have been made that are similar to mine posted on theses people with the Revdex.com.

I am the father of their so called customer. I was the one to get with the loan officer [redacted] to oversee the transaction. I originally contacted Cross Country Mortgage and initially got together to discuss the interest rate and find the qualifications and time frame of the loan. [redacted] convinced me to have him handle my daughter business. He confirmed with me it would only take " 3 weeks" to get her approved. I spent over an hour talking with him about her before we meet with my daughter. My daughter trusted me to handle this due to my business and financing for over 40 years. I told him I had to receive a bottom line amount for the house and I would pay for her closing costs and give her a gift of equity of 20% for her down payment. Based on my guesstimate of $ 120,000 for the house.

In regards to the unauthorized withdrawal of funds from my business account, [redacted] has gone on hearsay. [redacted], the loan officer, called me to say he had to get the appraisal done and had wanted me to pay for it. I explained this was very unusual, since this was part of the closing costs. He assured me I would not be charged until the closing of the loan. I gave him my checking account number and told him NOT TO CHARGE ANYTHING OR GIVE MY ACCOUNT OUT TO ANYONE AND CALL ME WHEN HE WAS READY TO CHARGE IT. He told me the appraisal company would call to get in the house. A man called who said he was the appraiser and we made arrangements. I got an email from, I thought Cross country mortgage loan department. confirming they wanted a some sort of purchase agreement.[redacted] never filled out a purchase agreement. I later find out that [redacted] is a sub contractor for Cross Country Mortgage. I though they were all the same company. In any case, They think their going to get away with stealing $ 425.00. The appraisal they ordered from their own sub contractor is no good, according to Cross Country Mortgage.

[redacted] as an attorney knows that hearsay is not evidence and makes statements which guaranteed he will need to prove in court , shortly.  I specifically gave that information to one person who has been lying all along and that has been [redacted].

[redacted] quotes my daughter, " the buyer" has agreed to lower or raise the price on the contract and signed off changing the price.  This might have been true, but my daughter and I were told many things which I will prove shortly; by emails and confirmations of [redacted] telling us to ignore interest rates that were higher on paper. He promised that the interest rate would be 4.25% when the paper work was 4.86%. He falsified my initials, which I can prove, on several contract changes.  Again [redacted] is only listening to hearsay and has no proof. I have emails by this loan officer. verbal warrantees said to my daughter and I.  I have no other recourse other than warning the public . and filing a law suit to receive my money and any punitive damages.    [redacted]

To whom it may concern:
I attempted to contact [redacted] numerous times. First by phone and then by email. Mr Flores did respond to my 2nd email and that is attached.
Unfortuanately without actually speaking to the customer I could not get  a complete picture of what went on when he spoke to...

a CCM loan officer.
There could be many reasons he was not able to get the rate requested from the flyer. Some of them could include; credit, capasity and colateral.
If [redacted] would like to contact me so I can discuss the problem in detail I would welcome that. Otherwise there is nothing much more I can do at this time.
Thank you,

CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc. received [redacted]’s September 5, 2014 reply in the subject complaint through your on-line portal on September 19, 2014.  CrossCountry is to respond by September 26th.

Since [redacted] sent his September 5th reply, CrossCountry has been working with its customer (the buyer) to move the sale forward.   An appraiser just inspected the property again and we are waiting on the appraisal report.  CrossCountry is paying the cost for the new appraisal.

If you require any additional information or response at this time, please let me know.
