Signed a contract with themStates I have days after job was completed to make first payment Never received paper bill for payment Have their financial people now calling non stop demanding payments when it has not even been days yetTry to call them about the matter and how they are breaching contractCan't get a hold of anybody and no one returns my phone callBut I get up to calls a day from their finance people demanding payment and that they refuse to send a paper bill until I make the first payment

We hired Install America to reside our home, replace gutters, and do Stonework in July of 2015, the work was not finished until January of In May of we noticed problems with the stonework, we contacted the company, and they came out and took pictures, and then claimed it was not their problem, but the problem was with the manufacturer of the stonework, so over a span of a few months a rep from *** came and took pictures, and said what we had already feared that Install America did not install the product correctly, so now we have a voided warranty with ***, and we started working with Install america on a solutionThey wanted to come out and reinstall the stonework, our question to them was who would be doing that because obviously their employees do not know how to install the stonework(we were the first clients that purchased it), along with that we worried about the integridity of the product from ***, so we requested our money back for that portion o

We have had much communication regarding *** ***'s project with him and also internally. The delay has been confirming the ability to provide the service contracted in a professional manner. More specifically what that means is that this roof has been leaking for a very long time and
the damage has been quite extensive. There becomes a grey area of where our job would start and stop. However, **and *** *** came to our office on Thursday 2/15/18. I personally met with them. The meeting was amicable and an agreement was reached. We will honor the contract and complete the roof installation. We were also in agreement that Install America would not be liable for any damage to the interior. *** rubber roofing needs consistent temperatures over degrees. *** *** understands that, and is willing to wait until the appropriate weather to complete his project. This is matter should be resolved

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the aforementioned complaintAs of this date, Mr***'s project is completed to his satisfaction as per the attached Completion CertificateIt should be noted that this project was lengthier in duration than anticipated due to some factors that were out of the control of Install America and Mr***'s patience is appreciated.Install America's slumber one priority is 100% homeownes satisfactionIf there are any outstanding issues or questions we can be assistance of, please feel free to contact us.Respectfully,Susan MW***, Service Manager, Install America

Install America will be refunding *** *** the initial deposit on the job after research of the project. Our company was unaware of who *** *** was until the end of November as she was not listed on any of the contract paperwork or listed in our system database at all. At the
point that we realized who she was, we put in motion the refund of the deposit for the project, which couldn't be done Until we figured out how she was related to the person with whom the contract was actually made withUntil we dis positioned all of our vendors, suppliers, and installers as to any items and associated cost involved with *** *** project, which was completed 12/19/2017. Our accounting department will cancel the contract, upon written release of any and all liability Install America has with the customers (Both *** and *** signatures required) for the project and any claims related to it.Once the written release is received, Install America will refund the deposit within 10-business via the US Postal Service to the project address

The installers were very neat and efficientThe work was done quicklyAnd for the windows I'm waiting for a really windy day to evaluate themBut at present there fine

The guys that installed my windows did a great job However I’ve been trying to contact this company since 6-5-17, left several messages for Jay about broken windowCalled again on 6-22- No one has returned my calls I WILL never recommend this company to anyone

April 23, Dear ***:Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the aforementioned complaint*** entered into contract with Install America on March 8, A downpayment of $was remitted at the point of sale*** had stated she wished to
cancel said contract out of the hour right of rescission. In an attempt to talk with *** about her attempt to cancel and any concerns she had, Sales Manager, *** ***, went out to talk with herSenior Project Manager, *** ***, also went to see *** two timesHe additionally provided *** with a custom display of what her window project would look likeAll of this was accomplished well out of rescission and free of charge.Install America cancelled ***'s contract and refunded her downpayment of $on April 11, Again, it should be noted this was well outside of the rescission periodInstall America's primary goal is 100% customer satisfaction for every homeownerFeel free to contact me with any additional questions or commentsThank you. Kind Regards,

We had our roof replaced by Install America and I am very pleased with the finished productThe recommendations made by the salesman for the asphalt shingle to be used to replace our slate worked very well from an aesthetic perspectiveThe crew was very professional and worked extremely hard in some adverse weather conditions I was also impressed with the resourcefulness that was used to remove and then replace the antique snow eagles that were on the slate roof The salesman and project manager however, greatly underestimated the time required to complete the jobThe crew took precautions to protect our shrubs, but the difficult tear-down of the slate roof did damage a few bushesThe building material was efficiently planned and its arrival was timely, allowing for continuous roofingThe process of getting the building permit from the City offices was long and drawn-out and I would have liked to receive updates regularly, instead of finding out at the last minute that the project would be delayedI was pleased that once the project started, the crew was committed to my job and did not go to other scheduled jobs

Dear *** ***
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the aforementioned complaint, Install America's response is as follows:
This writer spoke with Jim M***, Insurance installation Supervisor, related to *** *** issues with her projectApparently *** *** had new gutters
installed, but existing downsprouts were to be usedThe newly installed gutters appeared to be fine according to ***The existing downsprouts were a bit loose and will be readjustedThe windows that were replaced were very difficult to removeThe caulking that was existing was smeared on thickly and ununiformly making it very tough for the installers to get offAdditionally the caulk had been painted over whereby compounding the problemIn order for the window installation to be stellar, the existing caulk had to be taken offWhen taken off the areas that had been painted over now showedA crew will be sent back to touch up these areasIt is important all voice mails left on the corporate phone line may not get to the appropriate individualsOur apologies for any unreturned/missed phone callsCommunication is very important to usInstall America services 100% of its valued homeownersWe stand behind all of our projects and look forward to a continued business relationship with all of our customersPlease feel free to contact us with any additional questions or commentsThank youRespectfully,

4/16/Dear *** ***:Please accept the following response to the complaint filed by ***.After investigating ***s complaint, and having spoke with him on Wednesday April 15, 2014, Install America has agreed to reimburse *** This payment
represents the month deferred payment of per month that he has requested*** expressed his satisfaction and has agreed that this gesture has brought this matter to a close.Regards,

This all began the end of April with an estimate (Ten thousand five hundred) to have an exterior wall reconstructed Salesman advised the windows/slider would be installed (Not finished) within days(Yes, hard to believe but I would have been satisfied with a week completion)
Also, the salesman assured me that the company does not use outside contractors well, that was false
Nonetheless, the job was started near or on July 25th and here I am 2+ months later and the job is yet to be completed correctly
My house has wood siding for over years and on this wall in question there are no breaks in the original wood siding where water would be able to penetrate When Install America supposedly completed the job the wood siding they replaced had different locations in which there were breaks in the wood therefore, risking the chance for water to penetrate for which buckling may occur
There are other small details in which I have made the company aware of two weeks a

I have been getting unwanted phone calls from install America for the last years asking if I need work done on our house I have repeatedly requested to be removed from their list and advised we do not need any work done on our house but I continue to get phone calls from themThey wont stop calling

October 27, 2014Dear *** ***:Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the aforementioned complaintThe following is Install America's response:1)It is true that Install America ran a special on energy savings pledge during one period of timeThe homeowner would
have to prove that there existed no disparity between heating and cooling bills prior to a new window installation and following a new window installation to be in compliance with the pledgeInstall America is obviously confident in our window installations. In the past years, I only know of one time that a $payment was made to a homeowner.I do not doubt that *** *** received a $payout if he states this is so, however.2)Window services were made each and every time any type of issue was reported by the ***After several services, however, I thought it was best to review the overall installation*** ***'s window installer for his original window installation was in the trade for over yearsHe installed thousands of windows for Install AmericaThe feedback I received for my service technician was that the J channel around the vinyl siding looked knicked up and the window installation was not aesthetically as good as it should beAdditionally, any cracks in j channel can be conduits for water, hence leaksDue to the fact that the *** were inconvenienced on multiple occasions and were very nice people, I wanted the best "capper" to resolve these issues.3)Wes was sent to correct the issues with the window projectHis feedback was that the windows should be pulled and reinstalledNote that this is not because of a faulty window installation, but rather aesthetic reasonsThe windows had to be pulled out because of the way the trim coil was bent to accommodate themThe windows were then recapped and brand new J channel was providedEverything was then recauiked and sealed.4)*** *** is 100% correct when he states the window reinstallation took a long timeI chose to have a particular installer rather than service technicians work on the projectUnfortunately it is very difficult to get Wes for any service capacityWes is strictly on new installations, hence, the time issueAlthough not as timely as I prefer, I did not consider this reinstatlation to be emergent because it was based on aesthetics rather than any emergent issue.5)While Wes and Dan finalized the reinstallation, they did attend to a leaking windowThe corners of the j channel were not sealed properly and the water was running into themIt is important to note, however, that the rubber roof that was addthe-property at some point, has no ice and water or counterflashing on itThis will most definitely create a wall leak behind the sidingAll rubber roofs must have some sort of underlayment material to stop water.Water will inevitably manifest at the windowsIt always follows the path of least resistance. The windows are heavily sealed to prevent this, but the plywood sheathing under the siding wilt be at risk and caulk does crack over time.I hope the *** are content with the way their project looksI placed the best man for the job on this projectInstall America will always be available to service their projects, however, I am apprehensive about the feedback both men gave me about the rubber roof extending inches down the wall with nothing under itIf there are any additional questions or comments, please feel free to contact meThank you.Respectfully,Susan W

September 30, Dear *** ***:
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the aforementioned complaintInstall America is currently performing a project for *** ***Initially Install America was contracted to cut in and frame a new bay window which included the construction
of a new roofThe installer stated that an inspector instructed him to tie in to the footers of *** *** s houseThe installer complied and took all of the siding directly under the newly installed window off so he could tie in to the footersThe installer completed the window installation according to all inspection guidelines, He cleaned up the debris and left the project sight. The installer states the homeowner was happy with the window installation from all indications he was aware ofThe difficulty with this project lies in the reinstallation of the siding that was removed to tie in to the footersThe siding is no longer manufactured and cannot be replacedIf would not be aesthetically appealing to try to "match” the siding either in profile or color.John Guigley, project manager; went to meet with Ms, Emrich on 09/26/At this time it was decided that to finish off the area Install America would use soffit material and capping material*** *** was in agreement with this plan moving forward and the project will be scheduled for completion. At this point in time, Install America feels all issues with this project have been resolvedInstall America strives for 100% customer satisfaction with all of our homeownersIf there are any additional questions, please feel free to contact usRespectfully,

We purchased a window from the company that had a lifetime guarantee against defects in manufacturing After being installed in 2014, we immediately had to contact the company in regard to the twisted trim and two different trim profilesWhen they came to fix the aesthetics of the window, they brought the wrong trim againtwo years later, in Spring of 2016, we noticed there were bluish gray circles between the window panesAfter calling the company and reporting this, they stated they would have to replace it, taking approximately weeksAfter weeks, we had to call and ask where the window wasthey conveniently had the window come in that day and scheduled a replacement timeWhen the installers showed up, they brought the wrong size Again, we had to call because it lasted well over the stated time periodAfter the installers put the window in, we inspected it and found scratches inside the panes of glassAfter scheduling off work, having the installers show up late, and

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
If read carefully, I believe you will find their response to my complaint curiousMay I suggest a direction for the company in the future in handling such issuesWhen a client reports damaged goods by their assessment, a company representative should be sent to the property to make an assessment
of the damage and draw up a written replacement agreementBy doing so it instills trust from the customer which then produces a strong foundation for the companyWhen no assessment is made by the company, followed by verbal promises made via the phone which then are never delivered in
addition to a company representative then "convincing you" into keeping what you have, it only produces a shakey foundation which will
not standHopefully it is not too late for them to renew their protocol
