I am rejecting this response because:  This falls under the law of "warranty of merchantability for a specific purpose."  Under the law the purchaser is protected under the theory that the purchaser was not knowledgeable about the product and relied on the knowledge of the "wheel experts" at CarID in making the purchase.  Merchantability - "An implied warranty of merchantability is an unwritten and unspoken guarantee to the buyer that goods purchased conform to the ordinary standards of care and that they are of the same average grade, quality, and value as similar goods sold under similar circumstances.  Fitness for Particular Purpose - Uniform Commercial Code 2-315 - "Where the seller at the time of contracting has reason to know any particular purpose for which the goods are required and that the buyer is relying on the seller's skill or judgment to select or furnish the suitable goods.In this situation the purchaser is protected from errors on the part of the seller and despite policy of the seller the purchaser is protected and should be reimbursed for the error or have the product exchanged for the correct product.

We didn't say it would only be store credit. Had the refund been issued PRIOR to the dispute being resolved, it would have to be as store credit until the dispute was closed. As of 1/16/18, he client's [redacted] dispute has been won by CARiD. So now that it has been resolved, the refund will be issued back to his [redacted] account when the item is returned. As of now, the spoiler has not been sent back yet. The return paperwork was emailed to the client on 1/11/18.

recieved any refund in my account. And I am still after over a week waiting for the return shipment labels. I still have not recieved even after asking for this process to be expadited and asking them to email me a printable return shipment label I still have not recieved after a week.!!!! At every turn they have not followed through with what is promissed.

I just hope they send me the correct replacement for the driver side back seat rest with the hole cut out on the right side of the cover seat, but I am glad that they are going to send the replacement. I am rejecting this response because:This customer was not "well aware" that this would be the 4th excuse for not sending a refund.  There was no mention of this form when I was told that I would receive a refund in 5-7 business days.  I also mentioned that if a company is going to send a form to be returned the form should have the ability to use an electronic signature.  Sending this form back will just will be at an added expense to me to copy and fax this document.  [redacted] sent the package to the wrong address and that has already been confirmed.  This company took my money and did not deliver the product and it has been over 2 months. This company also claimed that the product I ordered was out of stock until September but they are selling the same item on [redacted] at this current time.Since this response is now not acceptable, I will contact my bank and institute a claim for fraud.

On 3/10/15, we did receive notification of his cancellation request. Please keep in mind this item was shipped on the same day he requested cancellation per UPS tracking #1Z5RW376[redacted]3. On 3/10/15, we request UPS to intercept the package and reroute back to us. UPS delivered the item...

on 3/19/15. We are waiting on the manufacture to credit our account in order for us to refund the customer. It is in process. We are not delaying his refund and you will find no delayed has occurred on our part. I certainly apologize for the delay in the process.

This client's case was reviewed and we apologize for the inaccuracy of the refund. The remaining $34.03 will be refunded within the next 24 hours.

In effort to right this for the client we have issued him a $15 gift certificate to use on his next purchase.  The lights he is interested in are available on our website for pre-order. If he proceeds to purchase he will reserve a set for when they come back into stock.

The return authorization was requested on 10/21/15. The client will receive an email upon approval with the instructions on the return via email with in 3 business days.If he doesn't receive it, them he can call me at ###-###-####. .

response because:CARiD did NOT refund my payment willingly, the time they gave me passed and I filed a dispute with Paypal, which I had used as the method of payment for this order. THEY investigated my dispute and found that CARiD had not refunded my payment so they seized the money from CARiD's Paypal account and refunded it to me...NO effort was made on CARiD's part to refund my payment within a reasonable time frame, it was through Paypal's actions that I received my money back. I ordered the SAME hitch through another company (E-Hitch) and received it four days later. Yes, I have received my payment back but it was NOT done by CARiD and their claim that it takes 24-48 BUSINESS HOURS for them to process a refund is no more than a stall tactic used to continue to use your payment for their own ends.

I am rejecting this response because: From the original ship date of 5/1/15 until 5/10/15 I had to contact a carid.com representative everyday to have replacement items ordered.  The first time I called it should have been handled on 5/1/15 considering the rep I spoke with said they were going to place an order with a rush on it. After contacting multiple times and multiple days I then found out nothing was done.. Only after 10 frustrating days of arguing they then Placed the order. I would like to think the shipping money that was spent of almost $190 should be returned due to the fact shipping is the reason for damage caused.
