This is the second time this customer has filed a completely Revdex.com complaint and provided opinion based incorrect information while HSC has done nothing wrongCustomer need a full replacement of her central AC unit, both inside and out, as well as the furnaceIf customer (yet again, and falsely) believes that this costs under $then they are, yet again, simply incorrectThere is no option to repair this system as the first repair of the motor/control board failed and the compressor failed right afterThis is an old, R22, obsolete system which is beyond economical repair and needs to be replaced with an up to code correct systemHSC has fully approved the maximum allowed annual limit for this replacement and advised the customer a week ago and we are ready to proceedThe customer advised that she will let us know as she did not have the funds to pay for her partThen this complaint, yet again, appears with completely non-factual statements that the customer believes can somehow become true if a complaint is filedFiling a complaint does not make the system repairable, a repair viable, or change the prices of the cost of a replacementCustomer's claim was assigned, diagnosed, determined, assessed and covered, approved, and is ready to goAs was the previous claimWe continue to provide coverage, good decisions for the home, and contractual service and continue to fall victims to non factual complaints to which there is no response as nothing wrong was done and pretending something is an option when it is not will not take a needed replacement and change its cost to a cost of repair which cannot be guaranteed or doneIf customer wishes to proceed with the claim, which was approved a while ago, she can let us know and we will be happy to proceedAny claims that remain on hold may be subject to re-evaluation of costs as equipment, material, or labor costs may change with timeShould the customer choose to refuse our services and peruse other options, she may do so on her own accordIn neither of these cases is this complaint legitimate nor can any realistic aspects of the needed work be transformed into something they are not

This customer is no longer a customer of HSC and his account will be reviewed for warranty fraudHe signed up and intentionally misrepresented his system which was already bad with seals gone on the heat exchanger and which was needed to be fully replaced and has since attempted complaints, threats, accusations to both our company and the technician, falsification of facts, and has even gone as far as to accused of (and this is a quote) "elder abuse" and resort to religious scare tacticsCustomer has requested to cancel, but has already initiated a charge back with his credit card company to further add on to his intentional actions of unethically bullying and misrepresenting to get what they are not entitled to which include using an elderly person and religious scare tacticsCustomer neglected to mention the chargeback in his complaint and is requesting we give in to his fraudulent demands, gift him home improvement money (services we do not provide), and issue a refund on top of itAs soon as he learned that pre-existing issues were not covered he demanded a full refund because he "did not get what he paid for" as he specifically signed up for this issueFavorable cancellation terms and an increased refund were offered to the customer as a courtesy anyway as customer service is our utmost priorityHowever, after what are now clear and evident intentional attempts, all courtesies are void and no longer offeredAny refunds will be in accordance to the contractual cancellation policyThis case is under reviewAny outstanding balances left on this contract will be subject to further actions including but not limited to collectionsHSC is an honest company and provides honest and reputable service and will continue to remain so despite such disheartening and unethical actionsWe are strictly a home warranty company and do not provide home improvement, upgrading, or remodeling services

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Here’s my reply to HSC:HSC statement: [redacted] My statement: The AC unit was working well when the hot weather hit Of course no one uses AC during winter time, it was May [redacted] when I first requested the service for the AC which was the same day the AC wasn’t blowing cool air The hot weather started way earlier than that time and have any issue with the AC before that As for the company with a good track record for many years, here are reviews from [redacted] about the company performance:Reviews from ***· [redacted] Worst company in the worldI used my home warranty company and they denied me for both the dishwasher and stoveThey delay and denyUseless company.· [redacted] Hire them if you want indefinite delays and a shoddy job doneGot referred to these guys through our home warranty service and they are completely unprofessional, unresponsive, and don't know what they are doing [redacted] Dishonest, shoddy serviceIf I could rate zero stars I wouldWe had a problem with our fridge and our home warranty sent out All Home AppliancesWe had to jump through hoops for a few days just to set up an appointment, with them continually saying they'll call us back but never didFinally a technician came out, said that we needed a new control board and the coils needed cleaningThe control board is covered by the warranty's deductible, but the cleaning will be another $Sure, sounds fineSo for $the technician runs a toothbrush over the coils for minutes and uses my own vacuum to suck up the dustHe then disconnects the control board, puts a new one on (or so I think) and leavesNow several hours later and the fridge is even warmer than before he cameWe call the company back and they say it must have been the wrong part, they'll get a new one and be back out tomorrowThe next day comes and we hear nothingWe finally call them, we're told someone will call usAgain, nothingI had to go to work so my wife finally got them on the phone simply asking what the deal was and when we could expect someoneThe person on the phone was exceptionally rude to her basically saying that since it was Friday afternoon the part shops were all closed now and there's nothing they can doMind you, we called them back Thursday night to tell them the repair not only didn't work but made things worseSo at this point we decided we didn't want to deal with this stupid runaround and awful customer service so we contacted our home warranty people and they sent out a new company ( [redacted] ***)The technician from [redacted] came to the conclusion rather quickly that the control board in the fridge was the original one and had never been replacedHe pointed out to me the part that had failed and how he could tellHe said the guy from All Home Appliance probably assumed it only needed to be cleaned (which [redacted] does for free, by the way), but if he just charged us the $to clean it he wouldn't have also gotten our $home warranty deductibleSo he faked changing the control board and charged us doubleHis reasoning was that 1) Our control board was a very rare part and there's no way they would have had it readily available on the truck, 2) If he had changed it, there's no way it would have gone bad again so quickly, 3) The All Home Appliance technician wrote down no part numbers on the work order and didn't leave behind the old control board4) The fridge was still as warm if not warmer than before All Home Appliance serviced itThe [redacted] technician said he could get the part in a day or two but would have to report his findings to our home warranty as he'd be billing them for the same part twiceI called our home warranty as well to report the attempted scam from All Home Appliance and to tell them to please never use them again in this areaI'll also be following up with the Revdex.comEDIT: In response to your reply - I don't take issue with your charging to clean the unitI understand that service is not covered by our home warrantyYou are well within your right as a business to charge whatever you want, I'm simply alerting people that what you charge $for, others like [redacted] do for free Secondly, if the part was replaced then why did the problem persist? access to any information that would tell me if the repair is going to happen or not, I had to look for someone else to repair the AC, to bring my older mother back home and be able to live life I looked in craigslist and after several phone calls to different contractors, I found a company called [redacted] , Mechanical services, LCC, phone number ###-###-#### that has a technician available the same day I told the technician from [redacted] Company what HSC contractor told me which is leaking due to coil damage, he did thorough leak testing, but he didn’t find any leak I am attaching copy of the payment receipt which also provides details about the diagnoses, the findings and the repair that was done If the copy of the document is not clear, I can mail clear copy of the document Bottom line, no leak was found The contractor HSC assigned told me that the coil was old and leaking, he offered to replace it on the spot with out of pocket money which I refused knowing that this same contractor offered me his services out of the warranty before Also the coil itself was replaced on June by [redacted] ***, phone number ###-###-####, an air-conditioning company assigned by [redacted] , the home warranty company I had contract with before HSCHSC says they have records of voice messages of me being happy with the service, I demand HSC to provide records of those voice Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: We are being bullied by this company and threatened that we will undergo a "fraud investigation" because of an honest claim we submitted under our CONTRACT with this home warranty company after a malfunction of our boiler It is unfortunate that our boiler developed a carbon monoxide leak one week after going under contract with this company, but this company is now trying to cancel our contract because they do not want to be responsible for the repair of something that THEY AGREED TO COVER per OUR CONTRACT The customer service agent even admitted via telephone that if this had occurred month instead of week into our contract, the repair would have likely been covered How is that not suggestive of fraud on their behalf? Per our contract, there is no statement that says we cannot submit a claim within the first week of the contract and we had absolutely no control over the fact that this CO leak occurred within this early time frame of the contract THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF GETTING A HOME WARRANTY WAS TO COVER THE REPAIR OF AN ISSUE WITH OUR OLDER HOME, WHICH THEY UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPTED WHEN THEY AGREED TO COVER OUR HOME PER OUR CONTRACT (with full disclosure/public record of the age of our home) They are demonstrating poor business and are illegally trying to back out of a contract by using terms such as "pre-existing condition" and fraud investigation when really they simply do not want to have to cover the repair because of its expenseThis was NOT a pre-existing condition, and although the boiler is old, it was in good working order for the year we owned the home with no evidence of a carbon monoxide leak at the time of home purchase/home inspection and contract initiation with correct installation of carbon monoxide detectors since home purchase I am a physician and would never leave my infants in home with a heater running and a CO leak just to fraudulently submit a claim under a new home warranty contract I can provide written proof of the fire department response that was made to my home on after my CO detector first alarmed, and can provide proof of the good working order of our boiler per our initial home inspection and subsequent servicings of the boiler since home purchase If this company is in the business of not wanting to provide warranties for older homes with older equipment in working order at the time of purchase and at the time of contract, THEY SHOULD NOT AGREE TO GO UNDER CONTRACT WITH PEOPLE OWNING OLDER HOMES We were mislead when we went under contract with them, and consumers need to be protected from this company Consumers should know that this company will immediately withdraw and backpedal from a legally binding contract if a repair has to be made that they suddenly do not want to provide coverage for, and this claim should most certainly remain visible to consumers through the Revdex.com website We will be pursuing legal counsel to review our contract and to work with this company to resolve the issue, but I believe that this company cannot simply nullify our contract based on the grounds that they are arguing In addition, the emotional distress that this company is imparting on myself and my husband and the bullying that is occurring by threatening fraud investigation and other legal action is sickening and should be made available to other consumers thinking about engaging in business with this horrific company In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

This claim was processed and was worked on and the customer received correct updates when inquiringUnfortunately not every single claim can be assigned immediately and we apologize for the slight delaySome areas are more difficult than others and we do rely on local service providers in the customer's area who at times may be booked upWhile we try to get every claim assigned as quickly as possible, and are known to be very fast, such success is not guaranteed and at times it may take a little longerThis claim has already been assigned and a technician has already visited the location and diagnosed the systemThank you

Customer signed up with a bad system and filed numerous non-covered claimsBoth the issues were not covered as per the contract and on top of all the conditions were existing prior to the start date of the contractIt is important to note that HSC is strictly a home warranty company and does not offer home improvement services, upgrades, remodeling, or general contracting servicesOur service is not for people to sign up for with aging and defective systems and at no point ever was such a claim advertisedWhether the customer's claims of not knowing the issues are sincere or intentional have no relevance on the fact that it is not subject to coverageWe prefer to give the benefit of the doubt to the case that it is not intentional and the customer was not attempting to defraud our companyHowever, issues that are either existing prior to the start date of the contract or non covered for other reasons are not subject to coverage

This claim was assigned as well as approved for a second opinion.Two professional technicians have now looked at this system and one has been approvedfor initial repairs and should be contacting the customer to schedule the work.This is despite some possibly non covered findings. We apologize that... it hastaken a few extra days, however, it is standard procedure and is to the benefitto the customer to have more than one technician look at and diagnose thesystem.
