new complaint against our companyWe previously received a complaint in
November of and have continued working with *** *** since then.*** *** purchased matches and
our matchmakers have matched her with
gentlemen thus farAlthough the work
had been performed (and we provided the amount of matches purchased by *** ***), but things did not work out for one reason or another, our
management team discussed *** ***’s program and agreed to “bonus back”
quite a few matches and continue her programPlease note that *** *** was
only matched with men who were most mutually compatible with her, according to
their profile informationEveryone who joins our program is prescreened and
prequalifiedWe ensure that everyone is financially secure, our clients must
attest that they are sincere and serious about meeting someone special, have no
physical or mental issues which will prevent them from being a part of our
program, etcWe even conduct a background check on each person once they
become a clientAlso, we will only match our clients with those who are
compatible with themWe will not match our clients with just anyone, as we aim
for the success of each and every one of our clients.If a match does not end up working
out, we are just as disappointed as we work hard to put each match together
Yes, there were some men that did not follow through with contacting *** ***,
which is why we “bonused back” those matchesWe do explain in our Regulations
pamphlet that not all clients will agree to meet their matchesAlso, we would
hope that our clients would understand that we, unfortunately, cannot control
other’s behaviorAccording to the feedback for *** ***’s most recent match, she stated that this gentleman was “nice and easy
going”She felt that they had “a lot in common” and she was “certainly
interested in getting to know him better”She also stated that “this was the
first match she felt had potential out of her matches she met”She said they
parted ways “friendly” and “appropriately” and rated the date as “Good”
overallWe felt we were headed in the right direction*** *** did
contact us a few days after she completed her date feedback and explained that
it appears that things would not work out after all with the gentleman she
enjoyed meetingWe were resuming our search for a new match and now we have
received this new Revdex.com complaint.As we explained, we have been
working very hard for *** *** and even though we have matched her with
men (purchased 4), we have continued working on her behalf since certain matches
did not pan outWe believe we have been fair in this matter, given the circumstances.Also, *** ***’s agreement
clearly states that the fee she paid is non-refundableTherefore, a refund
will not be an option, especially considering we have extended her program and
provided her additional matches.Patience is key in our program,
especially since we are dealing with humans and their different behaviors,
mannerisms, etcWe just want every match to work out and we can understand how
it can become frustrating when certain people do not follow through with what
they are supposed toWe want *** *** to know that we only want to help
her find someone special and we greatly appreciate her understanding throughout
the processWe ask *** *** to continue her

did speak with *** ***’s bank on his behalf regarding this situation*** ***’s bank contacted us via e-mail on 3/2, because they were going to be
issuing a
charge-back on *** ***’s behalfHowever, we forwarded a copy of
*** ***’s signed contract which states that the fee he paid is
non-refundableThis is clearly stated under paragraphs #and #in *** ***’s contractWe encouraged *** *** to continue with his program since

not understand why Ms*** would think that her credit card
payment would not be processed immediatelyMs*** agreed to this
one-time charge, signed her contract and signed the credit card
receipt after the payment was processed.We have been working
very hard on behalf of Ms***We understand that she is
discouraged and, as we mentioned, we have tried contacting her to
discuss her concernsMs*** has agreed, per her signed client
obligation form, that she will not contact any outside agencies
before trying to resolve any issues directly with our staffShe

Dear DC Singles:You did indeed tell me that you had partner organizations nationwide I relied on that represention when I signed the contract Unfortunately, the partner that has been offered since April does not fulfill the agreement A partner in Nebraska - which is what you have told me several times - does not fulfill your part of the agreement, since, at miles distant, it will have few if any possible matches in Iowa City I know Iowa City, and it would occur to no one there to reach out to an Omaha organization for matches Since you cannot fulfill your part of the contract, I continue to believe that - as I have asked for months - we come to an amicable agreement that is in both our interests Your current offer differs in no way from what you have been telling me for months, which caused me to write a complaint to the Revdex.com.I have avoided going into the quality of matches that were provided, because that is not the issue The issue is that we are about to depart the DC Metro area (i can provide the Revdex.com with details of house closings), you are unable to provide me with services where I moving, and I relied on your representation that you would Please - you can do better than "we don't give refunds" - you have $of mine and have done very little to earn it If I, as a business person, were to offer a service and then be unable to perform, my client would have a right to at least a partial refund As a matter of contract law, when a party cannot perform, the contract is void I am not asking for a full refund, since some services were performed - I am asking for a partial refund.Please do better - make a reasonable offer so we can close this out It is in both our interests to close this out amicably Thank you very much in advance

specifically stated to call her between 5pm and 9pmTherefore, our Director
called *** *** yesterday, 6/7, at 5:15pmShe was not available, so she
called back later and our Director was on another lineSince our
Director was unavailable at that time, one of our matchmakers spoke with *** *** and offered to provide her some additional matches (at no additional
charge), a complimentary communication schedule and pre-approval of
matches*** *** declined all of the above offersWe have now received this
complaint.Our Director
will attempt to reach *** *** again this eveningWe hope they connect, so
we can resolve this matter*** *** signed a non-refundable agreement, and
although she has received all of her purchased matches, we are offering to
continue the services at no additional charge and include some additional
benefits to the program. We look

I am rejecting this response because: I am unable to trust DC Singles moving forwardI have been disappointed several times and even after reaching out numerous times to obtain answers for the failed match attempts it's still just been a complete fraud of an experienceThe one match who was confirmed as being available prior to my acceptance was also a failureI honestly don't believe they have a client list and that they are not and have not been a successful matchmaking firmI understand that I signed an agreement however why am I being held to a different standard than what the company is holding themselves? I should not be forced to continue with this agreement based on the wrongdoings of their associated and lack of live male matchesI am not comfortable entering into any additional agreements with DC Singles; I strongly believe they are not a credible and reputable firmI am begging for a refundI do not wish to continue at all, this experience has been devastating.

chose to come into our office for an interview with a Relationship Specialist
on 4/They spent time together
and our Specialist learned about *** ***’
past, what she is looking for in a partner, etc*** *** explained that she
lost her ex-boyfriend and fiancé of years to cancer that he battled for
yearsWe were very sorry to hear this and sympathized with *** ***We
can’t imagine how difficult it must have been to go through this experience
She expressed that she was very nervous about dating again and this was going
to be a “huge step” for herIt was *** ***’ choice to join our services,
as we simply offer our program to those who qualifyWe are always respectful
to all candidates and clientsDuring *** ***’ interview, just as every
other, we prescreened and prequalified herIn doing so, we ensured that *** *** is financially secureHer Specialist had only wonderful things to say
about *** *** *** was described as a “sweet woman” and due to her
past experience, we were genuinely excited to have her in our program and to
have the opportunity to try and assist her in finding a new companion.After *** *** joined and left our office following her interview, we immediately began
working for herWe completed all the necessary administrative work on *** ***’ behalf in order to activate her account*** *** was responsible
for completing her online profileHowever, *** *** was not completing this
information in a timely mannerWe had previously sent her linstructions,
but then we called her on 5/reminding her that we needed this information
finished, so that we could move forward with her programWe called again on
6/and her voice-mail box was full, so we were unable to leave a message*** *** called us back that same day and promised to complete her profile that
night.Once *** *** profile was complete, one of our matchmakers contacted *** *** on
6/to welcome her to the program and discuss the process in a little more
detailWe were then finally able to match *** *** with her first match on
6/We matched
*** *** with a man who showed to be very compatible with her, according to
their profile information and compatibility questions they both completed*** ***’ Ideal Match Description states that she wishes to meet a man who is
educated (with a Graduate degree), a sense of humor, is kind and honest, etc
*** ***’ match met these preferences, among many other characteristics and
qualitiesHe also shared various commonalities with *** ***We explain to
our clients that we use our best judgment when providing referrals and we are
matching them with those who are most mutually compatible with themWe only
hope for the best with each match*** ***
did not complete her date feedback (which is required of our clients in order
to continue the search for them), but her match completed his feedback and
stated that *** *** “was not interested in meeting”He also stated, “We
did have a nice conversation over the phone, but she told me that she was not
interested in meeting anyone from DC Singles”.To our
surprise, *** *** then sent a brief e-mail to our staff on 6/requesting
that we take her name “off of our list” while also stating disparaging comments
about our companyWe did not understand what could have brought *** *** to
feel this wayWe immediately reached out to her via phone after we received
her e-mail*** *** did not answer or return our callOur Director of
Client Relations then reached out to *** *** on the following dates: 7/2,
7/8, 7/22, 7/28, 8/We have not heard back from *** *** and have now
received this complaint.As you can
see, everything was right on schedule for *** *** and we were working hard
for herWe were under the impression that things were going well until *** *** sent an e-mail requesting to “take her name off of our list”We have
provided our services and matched *** *** with a gentleman who showed to be
very compatible with her, according to our researchAlso, her match indicated
that they had a pleasant telephone conversation, but *** *** did not wish
to meet for a date.Please note
that *** *** signed an agreement which states the fee she paid is
non-refundableHer agreement also states that we are to provide her with her
purchased amount of matches, which we are attempting to doOur services have
not ceased and they have been exactly as they were describedIn addition, *** *** signed a client obligation form which states that she agrees she must
meet all of her purchased matches in order to give our company the full
opportunity to meet her expectations of the programShe also agrees to discuss
any concerns she may have directly with our staff.As we
explained, we were looking forward to the opportunity to assist *** *** in
finding a new companion and we would like to continue working with herWe ask
that she contacts us, so we can calm any fears she may haveWe are only here

I am rejecting this response because: I have documentation of all of the unanswered communication. I have documentation of their non attempts to resolve this matter. I don't know what medical condition they are referring to. They continually fabricate information which is alarming and disheartening, all of which I have documentation of. I thought this was a closed case, why are they responding with MORE fabrication? There must be a reason which makes me extra uncomfortable. They know very well how dissatisfied I am with their service and their fancy words and fabrication. I have documentation and proof of my experience with this company. So even with them saying they sent me something proving something, that was totally NOT the case. Which was not surprising.  Roughly 99% of their customers complain of these very same things, so I am not alone in my thoughts and feelings. Customers glowingly praise when they are satisfied and complain when they are not.

situation below.When
[redacted] joined our services, she requested to cancel the following
day. She appeared to be nervous that we would set her up with an
“unattractive” man. We provided encouragement to...

note that everything was right on schedule with [redacted]’s program
after she became a client and ultimately decided to continue the
services. Our clients are asked to provide us with preferences
for their matches. Our clients are informed that we use preferences
as a guideline for matching and we try to come as close as possible
to what our clients are looking for in a partner. However, if someone
is 1-2 inches shorter, 1-2 years older, etc, we will still present
matches to our clients, as we want to give them every possible
opportunity to find someone special. We always encourage our clients
to also be open on their preferences, as this will give them more
possibilities in finding a companion.After
[redacted] became a client, we activated her account and presented her
a match who was 5’9 (her preference was 5’10 and taller at
first). She is 5’6, so this man was still taller than she is and he
showed to be a very compatible match for her, according to their
profile information and compatibility indicators. Therefore, we
wanted them to meet one another to see if there would be any
chemistry. Unfortunately, [redacted] declined meeting this gentleman
because of his height, so we had to cancel the match. Shortly after,
[redacted] contacted us and decided she wanted to cancel her program
again.Our
records show that we have communicated with [redacted] on several
occasions. Her situation reached our Director of Client Relations and
our Management Committee, in which we had to discuss her experience.
We sent her a letter indicating that she was not eligible for a
refund. We have provided all that was promised to [redacted] thus far
and only wish to continue working with her. We believe it is
beneficial for [redacted] to give the program a fair chance. She has
not even met with one person as of yet.Also,
[redacted] initiated a credit card dispute recently which we had to
take the time to research and respond to. We just received word that
her case was closed in our favor at this time.[redacted] claims that her “situation has changed”, but [redacted]’s
agreement clearly states that the Client fee she paid is
non-refundable. [redacted] also signed a client obligation form which
states she agrees to meet all of her purchased matches in order to
give our company the full opportunity to meet her expectations of the
program. It appears that [redacted] was feeling remorseful immediately
after joining our program and when she was presented a match who was
1 inch shorter than her preference, she again decided she did not
wish to continue. However, we have been working hard for [redacted].
The man presented to her showed to be most mutually compatible for
her at the time. Yes, her Specialist had other men in mind, but once
our clients complete their online profile and compatibility
indicators, we can then determine if a match should be put together
or not. We take preferences into consideration, but we focus first
and foremost on compatibility, as this is what makes a relationship
last.We
sincerely wish to resume our relationship with [redacted] and provide
her compatible matches, as we promised, per her agreement. She must
actively participate in the program and maintain a positive attitude
in order to be successful.

[redacted] appeared excited to become a client and we were looking forward to assisting her in finding a companion.[redacted] later contacted us and stated she was unaware of the cost. We spoke with her several times about this situation and explained that sometimes people have buyer’s remorse, but we would very much like to continue working with her and get her started with the services.[redacted] signed an agreement which clearly states that our fee is non-refundable. We had [redacted] sign directly above the non-refundable clause in the agreement to avoid any confusion. [redacted] is a very sweet woman and deserves happiness. with [redacted] on 5/17 and reminded her that we would like to continue
working with her, but a refund is not an option, as the agreement she signed
clearly states that her fee is non-refundable. We offered to double-check
availability on each match during her program since some men were unavailable.
Unfortunately, [redacted] refused our offer. We reminded her that she came to
us for a reason and we want to continue working with her to help her find that
special person. [redacted] said she wants to see how the Revdex.com complaint plays
out. We informed her that she does have that right – we just wanted to
reiterate we are ready and willing to move forward when she is. We are here for
her and always have been. As we previously explained, we have
been working very hard on behalf of [redacted]. Our only goal is to assist [redacted] in finding someone special. As we stated, [redacted] signed a client
obligation form which states that she agrees to meet all of her purchased
matches in order to give our company the full opportunity to meet her
expectations of the program. In addition, [redacted] signed a non-refundable

with others, etc. We empathized with her, explained that we “bonused back” some
matches that did not work out, we offered a specific communication schedule
with her and our Director even offered to personally work with [redacted]s
going forward. Our Director of Client
Relations is discussing this situation with our management team and we will be
contacting [redacted]s back with an amicable resolution as soon as possible. We

thus far. Feedback for [redacted] first match: “Very nice gentleman - kind, cordial, compassionate and friendly - really enjoyed our conversation throughout the evening....after first meeting - my initial thoughts are that we could have a nice friendship... companion...”. Feedback for [redacted] second match: “Joe and I had a very nice lunch earlier today - what a very nice gentleman He actually offered to drive to the town I work in to have lunch - so extremely nice of him! Don't see myself dating him - just a very nice guy and we had several very enjoyable phone discussions prior to meeting face to face.” Feedback for [redacted] third match: “Nice conversation Real gentleman Very nice personality.” As you can see above, [redacted] enjoyed meeting the men we matched her with (and they enjoyed meeting her as well), although there were ultimately no romantic connections. We understand that [redacted] is anxious to meet someone whom she has a connection with on all levels. We are working hard to try and assist her in finding this. We have provided everything as promised thus far and we are continuing to work for her. We ask that she maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Those who exhibit such have a pleasant experience with our program. Also, typically, only those who have something negative to say will post reviews online. Very rarely do you see people take the time to post reviews when they have had a positive experience, as they are just enjoying their newfound relationship. In addition, this is a discreet service, so many people do not want to divulge details of how they met one another. All-in-all, we can assure that we have assisted MANY people in finding successful relationships.  We are looking forward to continuing the search for [redacted] special someone.
