The debt is still owed...the statute of limitations only applies to judicial remedies...The consumer did not pay the bill even when they had the chance within the statute of limitations. The settlement is reduced from an original balance with interest of $6,877.31 down to $250 a month for 4...

months...That is more than reasonable...If the consumer chooses not to accept this fair offer, then the balance will go back to its original amount.

I am rejecting this response because: I don't understand what their response is to this matter. The reason I was calling that company was to inquire about a debt that isn't mine and...

wanted to see where this came from. Due to the manager screaming in the phone at me and insulting me I couldn't even get my view across. As stated this is NOT a debt of mine nor am I aware of any such card and I don't have this on my credit reports. If further harassment from this business persist I will contact a lawyer to resolve this matter.

There is not going to be a suit to the consumer.

We used to be able to get the original documents from the hospital...we have not had this type of request for years...I will...

I accept the response and expect DeKalb County Solutions to do as agreed by closing out this account as soon as possible.

This company is beyond rude. Some guy named Duncan called me several times. Then he proceeded to call my boss. I returned his call and he was EXTREMELY rude to me and very verbally abusive. He said that I was delinquent on a credit card from over 10 years ago!!! I was in college 10 years ago and had no recollection. He hung up on me twice! On the third call I made, I spoke with a woman and explained to her what was going on. She was rude too. This business needs to be reported. You cannot call and threaten people!!!

I can send the $25 back to her.
