WARNING!
Don't spend your money with Designer Optics They seem appealing because they're cheaper than the local eye wear office, but don't be fooled
They shipped me glasses with lenses made WAY out of spec, I couldn't see anything through them I also took them to my eye Dr.'s office, and the optician inspected them and said they were incredibly wrong for my RX When I called the girl who answered seemed entirely uninterested, told me I'd get an email with return instructions So, I paid MORE money to return them, along with a note detailing the issue, and a copy of my RX hoping they would make it right
After weeks since they received my glasses at their front desk, a phone call, and an e-mail requesting an update, I still have heard nothing

if I could give negative rating I absolutely wouldto start offi had ordered a pair of sunglasses for my boyfriend for valentines dayi ordered the sunglasses march **,on the website it said the sunglasses were in stock and shipping is between 1-daysit was already feb * and I saw that I have not yet received a shipping emailso I contacted them via email and someone had told me they were currently unavailable and sorry for the inconveniencewhen were they going to let me know they were out of stock? they didnt email me until I had emailed them regarding my order that was not shippedi got an email back a few days later saying they were in stock and they will be shipped to me right awayFortunately, I did get them the day of valentines day, but still mad about how this whole thing happened with them no reaching out to me right away so I could make other arrangementsthen they told me for the inconvenience they were going to give me 5% off my next orderwoohoo 5% offgee thanksso now my boyfriends birthday is coming up march ***i gave the company the benefit of the doubt and tried again and used the 5% off.the sunglasses were in stock (according to the website) and shipping is 1-daysi ordered feb ** and saw once again I did not receive a shipping conformation email on the *** of febso I contacted them and once again they sent me the out of stock emailwhen were they going to notify me!? like this is ridiculousdo they have something against emailing their customers about an item they purchasedi do not understandback and fourth they kept emailing me changing the dates of when the sunglasses will be available againfirst it was may **, then it was changed to April, then back to may, then pushed to June, finally I get an email saying they're back in stock but I have to renew my debit card info so they can process the payment and ship them outfirst of all I do not think I should have ever been charged with so many unprofessional inconveniences one after anotherthey weren't even going to give me a discount or anything until I said something and they said they can give me the 5% offit is now June ** when I got the email of them being back in stock so I hopped on the computer and ordered them once morei get an email today June *** saying sorry their out of stock and they wont be in stock until november ***so youre meaning to tell me the sunglasses I need for march *** are going to be shipped to me november ***? months later? ha there is no way this business should still be in businessi have seen so many of the same reviews, of course after the factthey have horrible customer service because they clearly do not care if they lose customersand they need a new manufacturer because they always seem to be out of stock of everythingand always blame the manufacturersorry if my review has grammar errors, im very upset and displeased mat the moment

0 -STARS They won’t answer phone after being off for 10 days. My Oder has not shipped but they have charged my card.

Since then To date no response has been submitted by designeroptics for my request to exchange my order, I have made several attempts to contact designeroptics via phone leaving messages to which I never received a call back, via email, replying to Rivcky and sending emails to your costumer service page and no respond from your company...

Finally I requested my order to be cancelled and my refund thruogh my credit card
I’m waiting for an aswer...

Horrible horrible horrible.. customer service has been thumbs down so far. Ordered 2 pairs of carerra shades on
6-11-18 for husband to receive by Father’s Day. Also paid the extra $20 to get 2 day shipping to insure they come on time. One pair finally arrived on 6-19-18 after Father’s Day unfortunately. I remained calm and sent email in regards to refund for the $20 I paid for 2day shipping, the rep I spoke with wasted no time refusing to help at all. Now to present time, it’s Mon 6-25-18 still waiting on 2nd pair of shades and still attempt from them to refund at least the extra $20 I paid for 2day shipping.

Ordered glasses and paid additional 29.99 for NEXT DAY delivery. The packaged wasn't delivered until the 3rd day energy though I received an email showing that the package was ready for shipment in time for Next day delivery but wasn't actually received at USPS until the following day which caused the package to be delivered 3 days later instead of the NEXT DAY. Adding insult, I was offered a $10 credit for the error instead of the 29.99 that was spent for the shipping service that I never received in time. I was willing to use the 29.99 shipping credit to pay for my next pair of glasses with Designer OpticsPlanet, but now I guess not.

I am sorry to hear that the order was placed for the incorrect size, we got the order in for the 
sans-serif; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">[redacted].
 Polo Prep is the kids version of the Polo brand, since the order was placed for prescription glasses, we will not be able to take it back as par the prescription policy. 
We will however offer you the 10% Discount if you would like to replace the order for an adult pair.

Ordered glasses that never came. My complaint emails were ignored. Was told they would contact [redacted] and file a claim but they never did. Refund wasn't given

I am very sorry to see a customer with that feeling about a purchase on our website. 
I am looking into the order and I see we are constantly trying to get in touch with the customer to get the correct information of the prescription to make the glasses...

correct.Once we will get this information we will process the prescription in a rush and ship it out overnight, otherwise we can ship just the frames to customer as is.

As discussed over the phone with you that you want us the ship just the glasses without the lenses since you wasn't able to get the PD in time, we did so and the glasses were delivered to you on the [redacted] of January, I will be more then glad to refund you for the amount charge for the lenses but as long as the case you opened with pay pal is open I cannot do a partial refund for the transaction, so please let me know when the case is closed and I will refund you the amount paid for the lenses  immediately.
