I am giving this company one star because negative stars are not an option. The only thing this company is good at is deceiving sick people with their slick, hard-sell approach while feeding off the desperation of these people. They slide in under the guise of making the public understand the negative effects of other health products while telling you theirs is the only one that works. I am not easily deceived by these tactics but they got me this time. Twice. The first time I forgot to cancel after the trial. They convinced me that the product will really work given time. So I purchased the recommended product, out of the desperation previously mentioned. I haven't yet had time to finish all the product but it isn't working so I called to get the promised refund. The shark I talked to first promised that I would get a refund, no questions asked. "Some people even wait a few weeks to make sure they don't gain any back" the first shark said. The second guy wasn't so much a shark as a mop-up guy who talked so much and fast that I couldn't get a work in edgewise until I lost my temper. The mop-up guy informed me that I had gotten a special deal and the account was closed after that deal and no further money would be forthcoming, regardless. I said I haven't had time to take all the product. His answer was, "that is not in our control"! I know these type people are running rampant deceiving and bilking money from innocent people who honestly need help. And, sadly, reviews are the only resource we have if we can find them when we need them. Hopefully my experience will help someone pass *** these crooks and get help from an honest reliable source.

I ordered a sample of their Burn TS product with the instructions NOT to ship any further orders without my permission. I followed up with these verbal instruction with an e-mail to the representative not to ship without my permission. Even after 2 request not to ship any further product, on 10/3/2018 I received another order of their product and my charge card was charged $89.00. The day I received the product in the mail (10/3/2018) I called and was told by Dominick to return this product by just handing it back to the mailman and when they got it back I would a refund. After placing this item in dispute I was advised to make sure that I could track this return to verify that it did get returned and handing it back to the mailman would not allow for me to prove that I returned this item. I requested that they have this item picked up so I would have a receipt for sending it back. I have been advised to cancel my charge card to prevent further shipment from showing up on my charge card account. Since I made two separate request for their product not to be sent I would like a full refund and have them pick up this item at their expense.

"Free" Trial scam
When attempting to sign up for their free trial requiring that I only pay S&H I was automatically signed up for recurring billing without being informed.

Desired Outcome

The company needs to pull it's "free trial". The company is also ver aware of their scam as they also include an obviously fake phone number to call and cancel with.

We do not offer a "Free Trial". No where on our website, or through the sales process, do we characterize the offer as a "Free Trial". We recognize that other companies mislead customers with confusing wording, but with the customers best interest at heart, we stray away from misleading marketing.

In your specific situation, you were not charged for a full months supply as you called in during the sample period. In addition, we also refunded the $3.95 you paid for the shipping and handling of the 14-day sample.

I was billed fraudulently by this company and was sent a bottle of product THAT I DID NOT ORDER with a generic collate (no customer info, no order #).
I was billed by this company fraudulently and received a bottle of a product I did NOT order - I ordered a sample a few weeks ago and only paid shipping but did NOT consent to any sort of future billing/shipping plan and was HIGHLY upset when I received a bottle in the mail and then went and saw that I had been charged nearly $70 on my credit card!!! I never received any sort of email to alert me of anything being ordered/charged/shipped, and the packing slip included with the product I received is a generic one that has NO order number and none of my information listed on the slip to indicate that I specifically ordered it. I believe this is a SCAM and I have already reached out to the company TWICE to indicate how upset I am about this situation and have demanded a refund as well as a shipping label to send this item back that I DID NOT ORDER. I sent them a screenshot of the charge as there is no other means by which to associate the product they sent with any order to cease whatever fraudulent billing program they attached my card information to! I do not want to receive this item that I DID NOT ORDER and I DO NOT WANT TO BE CHARGED FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT ORDER. I want a refund, and I am trying to dispute the charge with my credit card company! Please do something about this company and their ongoing scam!!!! These charges were UNAUTHORIZED!!!!

They offered a refund as requested and cancelled any forthcoming orders for this program I was unaware I had been enrolled in, and they closed my account, stating I did not need to return the product I had received. I am glad that my concerns were addressed, and while this matter is now resolved, it caused me a great deal of stress to have been hit with an unexpected charge as such. I am glad that the company made things right and corrected this issue in a timely manner.

Company dups you into enrolling into a membership. In no where during the trial period does it explain that.
I order the trial product, and was not aware that you are enroll in in a membership if you do not cancel within 14 days. Product does not work at all nor does it do anything that it is specified to do. I have been trying to call can cancel but can never get through to someone. Do not want anything to do with the product

I was charged and refused a refund, even though I have not recieved the product.
On August 25, Saturday, my checking account was charged $60 by diet spotlight. I live in hawaii and our whole state was under a hurricane warning since August 23. I had other issues at hand and remembering to cancel a subscription was not one of them. Being that it was the weekend, I was not able to contact anyone from diet spotlights customer service. So I called first thing Monday morning, august 27. I told them I did not want the product and wanted a refund. They said they could not offer a refund if the product was already shipped, even if I refused the package when it arrived. I kept complaining and they then offered a 50% refund. But they said that was all they could do. I want a full refund! I was not even given a choice to be able to contact them because they took a payment out over the weekend while they were supposed to be closed! Unfair and certainly not what I need right now, after having to spend my hard earned money preparing for a hurricane.

There is no way to effectively cancel the service. DietSpotlight LLC provides no instructions on how to cancel or prevent more orders.
8/24/2018 received an order in the mail and was charged $65 on my debt card with NO prior notification. They did NOT provide information on to prevent the shipment or the shipment or charge. All they provided was information on the product and NOTHING more. I am now in the process of disputing the charge AND cancelling my credit card to prevent any additional charges to my card. I will consider myself very lucky if I ever see my $65 again!

I would like a refund and apology for the charge without notification!! I would also like the company to provide cancellation information and any new customers, I feel this should be a requirement of ALL companies, and illegal if it is NOT provided.

Company offered a FREE sample THEN charges your credit card for an unauthorized amount.
I ordered a FREE 14 day sample of a diet product for $3.95 shipping. I received the sample. Shortly after I noticed an unauthorized charge on my credit card. I called the company and they told me they shipped a 30 day supply to my Florida address. I was not there to receive this product and did not ask for this product. I did cancel any further product from processing. DietSpotlight did issue a $25 dollar credit at that time.

I appreciate and accept the refund. I would like you to consider allowing the product to sell itself allowing people to self order rather then a automatic program which numerous people are not aware of resulting in most of your complaints.

After signing up for a free trial for a supplement, I was charged for a full subscription a few days after the trial application.
I signed up for the trial with the email: ***@ymail.com
But then on the 18th of August I was charged $84.90 without any prompt or confirmation. Note the trial I signed up for costs shipping of $10.95 only. Transaction details for trial:

The transaction details for secret subscription service that I was not told about $84.90: VISA DEBIT PURCHASE CARD 4032 DIETSPTLIGHTXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX on 18th August
With a debit card ending in 4032.

I was not sent any confirmation emails or notifications informing me of the 'secret' and unseen cost.

This is unacceptable on the company's behalf/

Customer service manager "Kevin E" extremely unprofessional, rude, sarcastic and of no help to me at all.
First off I ordered a free sample of boost which I paid for shipping and it never came in so I called and cancelled my subscription which I was going to do either way. Then I'm charged $75 for a bottle of boost which I did not authorize and did not want so I called customer support. Obviously I was irritated and wanted a refund because the product is bogus and the shipping can't be trusted. I talked to a "Kevin E" which is supposedly the manager of customer support which told me they couldn't do anything for me even if the shipment was never picked up and returned to the sender because it could not reach the shipping address. He proceeded to be sarcastic rude and of no help to me at all. He actually got smart with me over the phone and decided he wasn't going to explain anything to me. His customer support was honestly the WORST I've ever had in my life. He finally caved and gave me a twenty dollar refund of my $75 purchase that I never agreed to. Obviously if you can give me a $20 refund you can give me a $75 refund. Terrible experience and I'm sure it's a bogus product if it's anything compared to the people distributing it.

Double charged me. Claimed they did not even though I had proof.

First told me there was no order associated with my name, order #. Then put me on hold forever to check. I feel like they were hoping to tire me out and I would hang up.

Then blamed the bank. Then said I must be reading my bank statement incorrectly!

Desired Outcome

I want them to investigate the "unauthorized" charge and refund my money. Going through my bank, I would be required to close my debit card and change over all of my autopays. This is extraordinarily inconvenient, especially since they are the ones who double charged me!

At first, I was repeatedly told he couldn't find the transaction via PayPal where I gave him the account number for the order, my name and the zip code. I was placed on hold multiple times while he tried to find that order.

What further proof do you need of the second transaction? I told the customer service rep the date/time of the duplicate transaction. He didn't ask for further proof or how to submit. He told me to contact the bank. To dispute with the bank, they cancel my debit card which is associated with all of my auto-pays. Which means, I would be required to spend my time b/c of your companies errors.

Also, your policy is not clear on your site for returns or a recurring charge. It should clearly state money back guarantee minus the cost of return shipping for unused product. Also, if you are charging monthly, I need to agree to that prior to clicking pay now. A package insert does not qualify as approval. Where is that policy located? Where does someone agree to that prior to purchase? It's certainly not on your checkout page or product page. it's also not mentioned in the post sale email.

On my end, I only see a transaction that was processed through paypal, which has already been refunded. If you have a transaction that was processed directly with a credit/debit card, please send me a screenshot of that transaction in your bank account.

You need to provide proof that you were charged twice. With this proof, I will be better able to locate your second transaction and refund it.

*the above transaction is the one you said you could not find. I had attempted to pay with my debit card, but your system kept taking me back through the payment loop and wouldn't process. I did not receive an email confirmation that a payment had been processed. I also didn't receive duplicate product.

This was the payment I ended up making via PayPal.

This company trick you into signing up for auto subscription. I wanted to try them out and then decided not too, when they then had a better deal and I got suckered in to that deal. I purchased "trial" subscription on 7/26 and Got the 2 wk supply in 7 days and before I could even try it I got BILLED and the monthly bottle on the same day which was 8/13. NOT EVEN 2 FULL weeks. Very upset that the company leads you through many slides while you sign up for the trial to lead you to believe that you are not signing up for anything else. You have to choose no several times for extra deals. Because you check the terms and conditions - you automatically sign up for the subscription. Its incredibly sad and shady that this company only makes money by tricking people. I am incredibly disappointed. I would like a refund. I call to only be told I get a $20 refund for something that has just now been 2 wks and DOESN'T work. Also before I got into that I wanted my money back AND to cancel I was getting emails for that exact same thing!!!! So that there tells you something too. I will be giving these ppl a bad review on Amazon too.

I got my money

Trial subscription was not clear that you would be placed on automatic monthly membership
I understood the trial agreement to read that I would be able to CHOSE to continue a monthly subscription if I liked the product. I called customer service and was talked over and was basically told "too bad" when I requested my full refund because it was "clearly stated" in the agreement that a monthly membership would be automatic. I want a refund immediately of $65.90 that I did not authorize.

Ordered a trial for $3.95, then emailed to cancel shortly after. they said I had to call. I checked my bank account and they charved me $59.95 + tax after I emailed to cancel. When I called they said that they cannot refund my money, nor can they take back the product. I didnt want to enroll, their site is very minimal, very little information. IT clearly says on the site 120-day money back guarantee. You cannot click on that, there is nothing on that site to indicate that you are stuck with product and charged the fee. I want a refund and they need better "fine print" because I can find NONE.

Very unhappy with this company as they trick you into signing up for auto subscription. I called and cancelled right away but was not allowed a refund
PUrchased "trial" subscription on 7/13 and received full bottle 7/30. Very upset that the company leads you through many slides while you sign up for the trial to lead you to beleive that you are not signing up for anything else. You have to choose no several times for extra deals. Because you check the terms and conditions - you automatically sign up for the subscription. Its incredibly sad and shady that this company only makes money by tricking people. I am incredibly disappointed. I would like a refund.

Dietspotlight refund credit
I received an order from Dietspotlight and wanted to return it. I called and spoke with someone who cancelled the order and issued a refund. I received an email stating both actions were done, however, checking my account the credit never came through. I called the bank and they opened a claim and made the adjustment. The credit went through my bank for the amount of $95.90 8/1/17. I checked my account on 10/21/17 and the credit was reversed and debited the $95.90 from my account. The bank said Dietspotlight said I never returned the product of which I did by following the directions of the Dietspotlight rep. The bank did not issue my credit even though I showed proof of the emails received and a picture of the item returned to sender. I am seeking my credit for $95.90 as I never used this product and returned it as requested. I have copies of the email and pic of the returned item.

On August 24th, we received a chargeback from your financial institution, our response was that we had already processed the refund and closed the account as of July 12th and there was no further actions to take on your account. Company represented a 120 day warranty on their product and when contacted for cancellation, effectively told me I was mislead by their site.
July 2nd, 2018 - I received an un-ordered bottle of diet pills from this company after getting a free sample two weeks earlier. I immediately contacted the company to return the product and get a refund as on their site, https://www.dietspotlightburn.com/order/ it states there is a 120 day money back guarantee on their product. When I called the company, they told me that the guarantee does not apply to me b/c I signed up for a free sample and was then auto-enrolled in their membership program (of which I was not aware, even though it may have been in the Terms of Service).

I would like my money refunded and I would like them to explicitly state, in bold, that those who sign up for the free sample will not have the guarantee honored.

I ordered a two week supplement sample, paying for postage. On 6-21-18, they charged me $65.90 for an order I did not place. I called them about this and spoke to Albert. He told me that when I ordered the samples, I had to cancel the automatic shipment within 14 days. I told him I didn't sign up for any auto ship. He insisted that I did when I ordered the samples. I told him it must have been buried somewhere I didn't see. He says that it is clearly posted. It is not disclosed anywhere that I saw. I asked to return the order I didn't want. He said no that wasn't possible but he would cancel any further shipments. This is big fat SCAM!
