This company has been harassing me for the last month calling ten to twelve times per day. I have repeatedly told them I am not interested in their services, I have been nice to them on more than a dozen occasions but they will not log my call correctly and take me off their calling list. how many people have to complain before you stop acting stupid and take the proper steps to remove my phone number from your calling list!

Donisi Jax Response • Jan 18, 2018

Unfortunately, we have been receiving numerous complaints that originated from other agencies with names similar to our own. We were not able to find you in our database. Please contact us with your phone number or any other information that my help us research this further. We can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX or ***@nationwidehealthadvisos.com. We will be more than happy to place you on our do not call list if in fact it was our agency that has been reaching out to you.

This company harasses me at least 4 times a day if not more and every time I tell them I have insurance coverage and to please take me off their phone list, they hang up on me or tell me they will. If they had the best product and price I would NEVER sign up through them just because of how annoying they are.

HELP They will not stop calling me. They are rude and hang up on me when I ask them to remove me from their list. I have ask to speak to a supervisor and they just hang up. I can't block them because they call from different numbers all over the state. They are up to 20 calls a day.

We are not able to find any call history in our records based on your name and email address. Unfortunately, our agency at times gets confused with other organizations. Please send us your phone number so that we can add it to our do not call list and we will be more than happy to help you find the company that is responsible for these calls. Our email address is ***@nationwidehealthadvisors.com and our toll free number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST HARASSERS EVER! They call and call and call all day and night, despite me asking them NOT to call and my multiple requests to place me on their DO NOT CALL LIST. Repping "The Health Group" each time they called to harass me from #XXX XXX-XXXX, I finally called them back and asked the full name of the company so I could escalate my request. "***" wouldn't tell me but said a "supervisor" would call me back! Of course that never happened, and that would be fine if they JUST DON'T CALL ME AGAIN! So frustrated and angry, I'm writing this while being kept on hold for 10 minutes to speak with a supervisor who never came and probably wanted me to hang up anyway. If this is their approach to prospecting and gaining customers, I cannot imagine anything positive happening in a business relationship with them.

There are other companies that have similar names to our own with many variations of the name. However, "Health Group" has no affiliation with our company nor the XXX-XXX-XXXX you provided in your complaint. We apologize you are experiencing these unwanted calls, but we can assure you that our agency has not been in contact with you. Please feel free to contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX or by email at ***@nationwidehealthadvisors.com.

Non stop calling from XXX-XXX-XXXX in Wrightstown, Wi. Have called and begged them to stop and now we have connected with the Police Department.
These people at Nationwide Health have been calling non stop for a month. 7 times today alone and it is midafternoon. I contacted the police and they are involved. The police mentioned I needed to call them at the number they had been using to call me and that hasn't worked. I beg them to stop and they keep just going on with their sales pitch. I ask "can you hear me" to make sure it is a live person. Finally this lady said "yes I can hear you". I beg her to stop calling me and they don't. Police are calling now and working on this as well. Nationwide Health is harassing me and I am going to contact a lawyer about it.

Desired Outcome

I want these people to stop harassing me. This is really a bad situation and Nationwide Health is obviously a bad company.

Donisi Jax Response • Jan 17, 2018

Unfortunately, there are other companies with variations of Nationwide Health that sound similar to our own. However, the name of our agency is Nationwide Health Advisors. When we tested the number provided in your complaint they answered as "Health Group." We are sorry you are experiencing these type of unwanted calls, but please remove this complaint accordingly.

Numerous harassing calls and refusal to remove list to stop calling even after many requests
This company started contacting me a few weeks ago because of an online inquiry that I submitted. They call me an average of 10 times or more per day, never leaving a voicemail, but hanging on to the line long enough so that voicemail starts recording. This results in multiple empty voicemails, which are harassing in and of themselves.
I have kindly asked to be removed several times and every time I do, the person on the line hangs up the phone in my face. When I called back and said "I am not interested", they continued to try and hard-sell me by saying "Yes, ma'am but how much do you pay for health insurance."
Their calls are incessant, their staff is rude and borders on harassing, and I feel personally violated by the amount of calls that I have been receiving.
It should not take 15 times to tell a company not to call me.

Desired Outcome

I want the Revdex.com to notify the company not to call me anymore and to investigate into their aggressive and violating business practices.

We have thoroughly researched our call records based on your name and phone number and were not able to find that our agency has had any contact with you. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing this type of interaction with another company, but this simply was not our agency. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have received complaints from another organization and we would be more than happy to help you determine who is calling you. Please provide us with the phone number that has been reaching out to you.

I have been contacted on the following dates and times 12/15/17 4;45;12:18,7:10Pm 9:17pm, 10:26pm; 11:30pm 12/16/17 1244; 3:40; 4:45pm 12/18/17 9::38p
and 12/19/17 9:38AM; 12:38 PM 2:25 pm I have spoke to a *** and a *** who I asked that my name and number be removed for their list of people to call. That I was no interested in there service and they both hung up on me, and then someone from the company proceed to call me. I also spoke to a man named *** to I told the story to and he also hung up on me. They were extremely rude and didn't want to listen. If I needed health care I wouldn't go with your agency to find help just because of this incident. Being called 15/16 times in 3 days and especially at 10:16 and 11:30 at night is extremely rude. What is wrong with you people.

Desired Outcome

Please do not contact me ever again

We apologize, but your complaint does not seem to be for our particular agency. None of the names of the representatives you mentioned are employed with us. In efforts to ensure you do not ever receive any calls from our company, we have placed the above number on our internal do not call list.

I was trying to insure my husband and I into medical, vision and dental insurance, through license agent *** What a total waste of time. this man told me that all surgeries, medical visit , prescriptions drug had no deductible. he rushed me to sign documents and took my Visa info and sent me the hard copy. After I read the policy, this Medical insurance is a fraud. I only had supplemental insurance, which I didn't need. Thank God I was able to contact my credit card company and had this expense remove and they can not debit my card in the future. Do not work with this agency.

We are sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the health plan our licensed agent assisted you with. Our agency offers a variety of different health plans with low deductible options as well as health plans with indemnified benefits. I received more than one call from this number, and both times the representative attempted to sell me some kind of health benefits using high-pressure sales tactics: attempted to coerce me into making a decision that day, would not provide details on specifics of coverage (such as exact percentages of medical bill coverage), would not provide contract document for me to review to make informed decision, and referred to the ACA as "Obamacare", which has never been that act's name. When I provided a low monthly cost that would be affordable (lower than the ACA's affordability rate of 8.16% or lower), the representative magically "discovered" an option that was almost exactly 8.16% of our actual income. Last, the representative only provided one option and assured me that after we received the documents, we could cancel if we didn't want to keep the coverage. I naturally declined. I refuse to submit to high-pressure tactics to "buy" health coverage that didn't seem to actually cover much. Terrible business practices. Block their calls as soon as you can.

Donisi Jax Response

We apologize if any of our agents did not efficiently answer all of your questions. We value our customers and strive to improve our customer service standards continually. Our agency offers various health options outside of the Affordable Care Act, many of which have low cost options depending on the coverage you are looking for. We would be more than happyto send you materials on some of those affordable options and apologize our agent did not provide in depth explanation of the benefits.

NATIONWIDE HEALTH HAS BE CONTACTING ME RELENTLESSLY, EVEN AFTER BEING ASKED TO REMOVE ME FROM THEIR LIST.
I HAVE REPEATEDLY ASKED TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALLING LIST. AND THEY WILL NOT REMOVE ME. WHEN I TRY TO DISCUSS IT THE REPRESENTATIVE SPEAKS OVER ME. THEY CALL ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. SOMETIMES I GET AS MANY AS 10 CALLS A DAY. I FEEL VERY HARASSED BY THIS COMPANY

Relentless phone calls trying to solicit their business...
I have been receiving numerous phone calls from this company. I have asked them to put me on their do not call list, but that has not stopped them. When I answer the phone, I tell them I am not interested and their people continue to try and talk over me. I even blocked two of their numbers, and low and behold, over the weekend, I got another call from the 813 area code... I called it back this morning to see if it was them, and the girl answered the phone and said I am calling you today about your health insurance, are you covered at this time. I just hung up and will block this number as well. This company is absolutely ridiculous with their sales tactics and something needs to be done!!!

Desired Outcome

I do not want to receive any more calls from this annoying company. I have asked them repeatedly and even threatened them with legal action if they did not stop. Even with blocking a couple of their numbers, I am still getting contacted by them.

Donisi Jax Response

Your lead was purchased as a shared lead, which means it was sold to multiple agencies in addition to ours after you submitted your request online for a health insurance quote. Some of the negative interactions you had may have been from some of these other agencies. Because we removed your number from our database internally you will not receive further calls from our company. Our agency placed your number on our internal do not call list 12/01/17 and notified your original lead vendor to distribute a do not call order to all their buyers after receiving your request via email 12/11/17. We hope this also helps in stopping other agencies from contacting you as well.

The representative I worked with was very friendly, and seemingly knowledgeable, but selectively informative. When told things like "covers 80%," the missing information if "...of a minuscule amount." I trusted the rep, signed up for a health insurance policy, and once I was provided the policy documents, I realized both that the coverage was incredibly limited (barely any coverage), and that the descriptions were very misleading.

I called the insurance provider to get clarity on some of the things which were a little sketchy, thinking that the sales representative was an honest guy, and I found that the coverage was terrible, like laughably bad, and almost impossible to see any real benefit from in 99.5% of health issue situations. Also, asking very specific and precise questions, I spent 30 minutes on the phone with one customer "service" representative (this is the insurance provider, not Nationwide Health Advisors) , to finally get put on the phone with a supervisor. The supervisor and one other supervisory voice in the background were practically belligerent, and I kept hearing the voice in the background basically saying that they couldn't spend the time on the phone with me. This is the product that NHA is selling, under practically false pretenses.

Do not waste your time with these folks. They are now at 20 negative reviews, with zero positive or neutral reviews. I would rate the representative a 2, and the business a 1. Huge waste of my time, and now I need to cancel the health "insurance" policy and get my refund.

Donisi Jax Response

The particular plan we offered you is a limited benefit health plan and the surgical benefits on the plan does in fact cover 80% of their surgical fee schedule. Additionally, the insurance offers in network repricing to help reduce any out of pocket cost by staying in network with MultiPlan. We strive to provide all of the benefit details before enrolling, for that reason we send all of our customers through an electronic authorization that lays out all of the benefits and limitations. We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with the health plan our agency signed you up for and appreciate your feedback. We immediately processed your cancellation and a full refund has been issued to your original form of payment. Although we were not able to offer a plan that suits your needs, we strongly suggest you visit healthcare.gov to take advantage of Open Enrollment and explore major medical options for the new year.

Customer Response

I appreciate the prompt response. I guess my best offer of feedback would be to limit or cut ties with National Health Advisors, since they (a) were, repeatedly, purposefully, misleading with their language describing your policy, (b) would not provide policy documentation before signing me up and taking payment, and (c) have a phenomenally poor Revdex.com rating, and other feedback ratings.

And for any potential consumers reading this, "fee schedule" has almost no relationship to actual surgical fees. The most expensive surgery listed on the fee schedule was an esophagectomy, at something like $3800. 80% of $3800 doesn't come close to the real cost of that surgery. Appendectomy was something like $650. No surgeon will open up your abdomen, remove something, and close you up for less than 10x that, at least in this country. Just a little context for the "limited" in "limited health plan."

Thank you.

We are a small business that receives no less than 20 calls per day from this company trying to sell insurance to a non-existant individual.
I have spoken to numerous individuals (employees) since 20 November 2017 to have our telephone number removed from their calling list yet continue to receive telephone calls. My next step after filing this report is to file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission regarding the abusive and incessant number of telephone calls place to our business, especially after having been directed to remove the number from any lists.

Desired Outcome

Immediate cessation of all telephone calls to XXX-XXX-XXXX.

After looking online for affordable health insurance, I started receiving MULTIPLE phone calls from this company and several others. A week later I had found coverage through a local insurance agent, so the next time I got a call from this company I explained that I'd solved my problem and no longer needed their services. That didn't deter them at all. Some of the agents were just outright rude while others were pushy and kept saying that they could help me save money if I would just tell them how many people I needed to cover. I kept repeating that I'd found affordable coverage and respectfully asked that they take me off their call list, but they just kept talking over me. I finally started asking to speak to a supervisor, and every time I tried that tactic the rep hung up on me while I was still speaking. When they called me for the umpteenth time yesterday, I told the rep in a very nice way that I'd already obtained coverage. His response was to sort of laugh in a sarcastic way as though he didn't believe me, and he even asked what coverage I had gotten. When I replied that it was none of his business and asked again that my number be removed from the call list, he hung up on me. I just now got yet another call from the company, and when the rep kept talking and talking and talking as I was trying to talk to her, she finally told me she could insure my family for $200 a month. When I told her I'd found coverage for less than $100 a month and asked if she could beat that price, she kept talking even more. I asked again for my number to be removed from the list and she hung up. I am SICK OF THESE CALLS and would warn anybody that receives one to simply hang up before any conversation begins or they'll regret it.

Donisi Jax Response

We strive for customer satisfaction and appreciate any and all feedback we receive from anyone our company has had contact with. We have placed your information in our do not all registry and have notified the vendor from which we received the lead to do the same. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Customer Response

As far as your response goes, I don't believe it for a second! Before I posted my own comments about your company with the Revdex.com, I read comments that other people had posted complaining about the same experience I'd had, and some of those were posted years ago. Obviously nothing has changed in the interim, which tells me that despite repeated complaints NOTHING has changed and you continue to do business in the same way and continue to HARASS people with your repeated phone calls.

I've once again started receiving emails and multiple calls a day from various numbers for Nationwide Health Advisors. They have called for several years even though I have never done business with them and have asked repeatedly to have my number and another I have forwarded to my cell, both added to the DNC list yet the calls will continue for weeks at a time.

Donisi Jax Response

We deeply apologize for any unwanted calls. We have an internal do not call list that we can add your number to, this information is then relayed to our lead vendors. Please provide us with your phone number and we will be happy to take the steps necessary to ensure the calls cease immediately.

Customer Response

Thank you, I do have a phone number to add but do you have another private method I can get it to you? I'd rather not post it on a public forum.

Yes, please contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX or email us at ***@nationwidehealthadvisors.com.

Was told I was receiving X, but none was real. They took money, did not call back for weeks (still haven't), and refuse to help.
I received a call regarding insurance (which I needed and still do need) and after a few rounds of going back and forth, in addition to calls to my orthodontist and therapist who stated they would accept this insurance - a member of the health insurance team did call my orthodontist with me on the line, I agreed to move forward.

I was given the following information regarding my plan:
Underwriter: Federal Insurance Company
coverage: Nationwide
PPO : Open Access
0 deductible
first 6 visits (primary or specialist) are covered at 100% without copays
hospitalization (covered at 70% plus $1k per day), ER, labs and diagnostic testing (70% plus $200): insurance pays 70% and I would pay 30%; regular doctors (70% plus $75); out of network (70% - regular or specialist)
pay twice on the plan: they pay 70% of the bill with indemnity benefits
policy is through the marketplace and does not cover maternity, gender change, mental confinment, drug rehabilitation
medication: $10 copay for generic; 75% for brand name cost

receive coverage for dental and vision: Ameritas Network (through Aetna)
basic: $49 for cleaning and exams
major: $69 for eye exams, glasses, contacts, orthodontics

$335.13/month - November 25
$125 - one time application fee
$460.13- taken out the first month

month to month no contract with no cancellation fees and can have it go until 65

After receiving the health insurance cards, I proceeded to send them to my providers. The orthodontist stated that I did not have orthodontic insurance as stated. When I went to get some prescriptions filled, I was told by the pharmacist at my local Harris Teeter Pharmacy that the "card" for prescriptions was not an insurance card at all.

From that point, I began making calls to the number provided in the initial conversation *** ext: 156) but there was no option to reach an extension and no option to reach *** so I continued to leave voice mails for over two weeks. The voicemail was the exact same each time, regardless of department (from the company's end) and I have not yet received a call back or response.

I gave warning that I would put a stop payment on the withdrawals; that I would report them to the Revdex.com; and that I would file a claim with my bank (Bank of America) to receive my money back based on fraud.

I am still going back and forth with Bank of America as they do their due diligence but only after finally receiving several emails this morning, and at least one phone call so far, all stating that they will cancel my insurance because they are unable to withdraw money from my account, I have decided to file a claim here.

They should not be permitted to do business, if they are a real business at all. They are scamming people in order to take their money and not provide a service in the least.

This company is fraudulent and needs to lose their license, have audits done, and formally revoke any ability to pursue business of this nature in the future

Desired Outcome

I want them to do the following: -never contact me again -refund the initial payment I made That is

When Ms. called in 10/25/17 looking for affordable health insurance our agent offered her a limited health plan option through Federal Insurance Company. Ms. went over all the benefits and exclusions of the plan in detail, including the fact that this plan is not considered minimum essential coverage. She went on to explain that it is considered first dollar coverage, therefore she would not have a copay or deductible and instead would be responsible for the remaining balance after her indemnity benefits are applied to the bill. She fully explained how the plan worked and that there was no set deductible nor coinsurance. *** also pointed out that there was a 12-month waiting period for pre-existing conditions towards hospitalization, surgery, and anesthesia. Additionally, she opted to enroll in the USA+ dental plan through Ameritas and was explained the deductible and coinsurances offered through this plan for basic and major services. However, that does not include orthodontics. She explained that prescriptions were not covered through the insurance, but that she would be given access to a prescription discount card through ScripPal. *** advised the customer this information is made available to her through her welcome email where she can log in and print her temporary prescription discount card along with any other information she may need pertaining to the plan.
We then sent the customer an electronic authorization that lays out the terms and cost of each plan being included in her enrollment with Health Insurance Innovations. Upon signing and agreeing to the exclusions of the plan. We also provided her with our customer service number in case she had any questions after enrolling and urged her to review the policy within her 30-day free look period by logging into her account online. We did attempt to reach the member in response to one of her messages the morning of 12/05, however the mailbox was full and we were unable to leave a message. We deeply apologize if you had any trouble reaching our agency after enrolling. We constantly strive to ensure we do not miss any communication from our members during the busy period of open enrollment. As per your request, we have placed your number on our internal do not call list. Additionally, we have forwarded your concerns to the TPA in order to process a full refund. Please visit healthcare.gov to explore comprehensive health plan options through the Affordable Care Act before it's end date, Fri 12/15. Please feel free to contact our member services department with any additional questions.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this response as non of the response is accurate. I took specific notes throughout the conversation and while on the phone with the representative I explicitly stated that I was in a car accident and needed the ability to go to a doctor's office without problem, we even called my orthodontist's office (which they can recount the information relayed and spoke about during the call in which the representative and I spoke to them about ortho coverage); we called my therapist's office; and I stated that I was on two different SSRIs that needed continued coverage, in addition to other prescriptions I needed due to the car accident and other concerns.

In closing, I stated that I needed health insurance to cover my therapist, my car accident (to include neurologists, surgeons, etc.), prescriptions, etc. I said that I had no problem paying for the Aetna or BCBS if it would get me what I needed, but she insisted that I did not need to pay the higher amount because the insurance she was pushing would cover what I needed, and it did not.

Referencing the calls: I made numerous calls over the course of 2-3 weeks, sometimes a few per day. The only call back was on 12/5, which is after the 30 day "free look" to chat about why I did not make my payment, which is weeks after my initial call. That is unacceptable for any business and inexcusable.

Please refer to some of the notes taken during the phone call with the representative below, which is what I was promised. This if the first time I chose to do health insurance on my own, and I believed the representative and trusted what she said instead of doing my complete due diligence....which will never happen again

We are sorry to hear Health Insurance Innovations did not respond to your email regarding your refund. According to our records, HII cancelled your policy back on 12/01/17 they have stopped billing you since that date. Although we do not handle the billing of your account, HII has informed us that a stop payment was placed on the other $152.66. Enclosed you will find details regarding the ACH return. You will need to get in contact with HII or your financial institution to confirm any further details regarding the transaction.

This is getting ridiculous. See the attachments provided that show the amount that was withdrawn from ACH on 10/26, the initial claim with BOA on 11/16, and the claim reversed by BOA and the funds removed from my account again on 12/29.

The amount to be refunded needs to equal the amount stolen from me of 460.21.

My local healthcare providers would not except this plan. When I tried calling the phone number provided by Charlotte, I was put hold. I tried repeatedly to contact Charlotte, an agent for National Healthcare Advisers regarding dropping the discount plan, $116.86 and getting my application fee, $68.00 refunded. Payment was made by check from my checking account. I want discontinuation of the discount plan and any damages to my credit corrected. I am seeking further fines from the Revdex.com to stop NHA from further calls to me. I consider this to be fraud on the part of both these companies.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking the refund of application fee to National Healthcare Advisers and the stopping and/or cancellation of services from National Congress of Employers. Any misappropriation of funds collected by National Healthcare Advisers and National Congress of Employers regarding this discount healthcare plan shall be considered a action to commit theft of money from me.
