This company is a ***, they have all my information !
I was buying health insurance and I did not know that are a ***. Now, since they have all my personal and bank information, I would like to get my money back as well as protect my bank account !

Desired Outcome

I do not want this company to use my credit card. I do not want any health insurance from them, because they are a fraud !

You signed up with a medical plan through us 8/24/17 that went into effect 9/15/17. All of our carriers offer a free look period and we would like the opportunity to review your plan details with you to see if we can assist you any further. We had paid for health insurance and have not received confirmation number or other paperwork by mail or email..I have called them 15 times .
We have not received anything and they took our money and refused to answer calls or call us back..

Every time a customer enrolls on one of health plans they immediately receive a confirmation email from the carrier. Unfortunately, we had a different spelling of the email address and for that reason the customer never received the email successfully. We apologize for the inconvenience and have reached out to the member to cancel their plan as requested.

My husband and I had both given the email address and even spelled it to them and when I had called back twice after that I gave it to the person answering the phone and confirmed it to them and the receptionist....

They had been given the email several times and even told me what it was when I called.

That's when they stopped answering my phone call and hanging up on me..

We are a sales agency for various carriers, therefore when Ms. called in 8/18/17 we referred her to contact National Congress of Employers directly to correct her email address since we do not have direct access to resend the confirmation email from our end. We do not see any subsequent calls where the member was disconnected, we do apologize if there were any issues reaching our customer service team. We have submitted a request to the carrier to cancel your plan and provide a full refund. Should you need to reach them directly their number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Harassing phone calls
This company is making harassing phone calls to my family. He wants to sign us up for health insurance then asks for $500 and needs a credit card number. When I refused to give it to him he called me stupid. I hung up on him and he called back 12 times, then called my husband and cursed at him then hung up.

Put a stop to this harassment and shut down this scamming company

We apologize if any of our agents did not handle your call courteously and did not uphold our customer service standards. Unfortunately, we were not able to locate a call were any foul language was used. In order to enroll in a health plan we do require either a credit card or checking account for the first month's premium. At this time the customer hung up without ant notice. The agent only called back because he thought the call was dropped inadvertently. In the subsequent call Mr. explained there was recent fraudulent activity on their credit card and did not want to go forward at this time, but we were not able to find where our agent was argumentative. Again, we apologize we were not able to assist you with a product you were comfortable with and have added your number to our do not call list.

The company representative is lying. In the same conversation mr *** told them about the fraudulent activity on our credit card, he was also told by this company that he was wasting their *** time. Exact words. There are a bunch of bad reviews on the internet about this company and others are saying the same thing. The rep called me 15 times after I hung up on him for being disrespectful to me. That is harassment. This company is unprofessional and dishonest.

This is a total scam. The plan they told me I would have is not at all what I received. My doctor asked me to really review the plan and as I checked on what was told to me (I wrote it down) to what was given to me nothing checked out. It was sold as a superior service for healthy people. Mark's extension number is not legit. AND he told me that he was part of, and he sang it Nationwide is On Your Side - they are absolutely not. I wish I had checked here first.

We do see your plan has been cancelled and a full refund has been processed, but our customer service team would like the opportunity to identify what benefits were not to your satisfaction. I was looking for a health insurance and as a potential customer, I would think that this company would like my business rather than being rude. The broker I talked to actually said go and look at other plans and get ripped off and call me back at this number XXX-XXX-best of luck. I have never encountered such rude service and actually disparage their competition. You can tout how you are superior but you don't have to disparage others.

This company needs to be SHUT down! Starting at 7am this morning they have called us 10-12 times and now it's only noon (at first they continued to call while our 1 year old was sleeping)! MULTIPLE times I have asked politely to be placed on their do not call list, every time I was hung up on with no explanation. This is the absolute worst display of customer service I have seen in my entire life, unacceptable! Would you want to place your families health, dental and vison insurance within a company that constantly hangs up on people?

Actually just received another call from them while I was typing this review. We may be calling the police to report harassment if this continues.

We take all our Do Not Call requests very seriously and ensure that FTC regulations are never violated. Therefore, we keep an internal DNC list and promptly remove all phone numbers upon request. They will NOT stop calling me! I've blocked the number, they still call 5 or 6 times a day. When I finally called the 888 number they were RUDE.
I have had so many unrequested calls from this company.. They have someone who says they are Morgan...who sounds very much like Morgan Freedman calling about health insurance. I did NOT give them my number, I've told them to stop calling. they call using a 215 number which is my area code but I've blocked it. It still goes to my voice mail. I've had 10 calls since Sunday.

Stop the rude and harazzing calls every 20 minutes.
This company calls every 15-20 minutes all day long with local Ohio phone number on called ID with no business name. Robot voice surveys your I insurance situation. Robot caller then transfers you to a rude customer service (lack there of) person who makes some rude comment before hanging up on you when told to remove number from the call list.Im on theNational Do Not Call regestry. Stop the harazzing callsmulitiple times every day.

Do not call me any further, and teach, demand and monitor staff's manners.

Our agency only reaches out to individuals who have requested to be contacted online for health insurance quotes. They be various companies responding to your request along with ours. We were only able to get in contact with this customer once 7/06 on and we successfully removed his number as he requested that day. Anytime a customer asks not to be contacted again we promptly place them on our internal DNC list and our company will not be reaching out to this number again.

This is the most unprofessional company, in my 62 years they are deceiving the public and ripping $$$ from it's customer's. I purchased, under pressure, for $329.28 plus a $75.00 fee for a total different policy than they stated. How is this business allowed to operate? Who do I call? They don't answer any phones and the main number in Fl. is a fax machine. I really needed this Insurance as my retirement insurance canceled me due medicare but I only have part A.

Purchased "health insurance" ID: XXXXXXXXX. Here is my email to them: Good morning,

Please confirm that you have requested a refund from HII. Your customer service reps have refused to confirm in writing that this has been done. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I've received from your employees. If I do not receive a reply to this email and/or some sort of confirmation that the refund was requested in any written form, I will be compelled to report your company to applicable agencies. I called X-XXX-XXX-XXXX and spoke to 2 employees. I was told by both *** and *** (who I am told is the only supervisor) that they are not able to access or send a quick email just simply stating that the refund was requested. They also stated they did not have direct extension numbers to reach them if I were to need to call back. I am not needing a system-generated email. Just a quick written email, just like this one. This is a ridiculous way to run a company to be honest.

I was lied to by your employee who sold me this policy, *** He stated a number of things that would be covered by the policy, however so far that has been false. My pharmacist also did not recognized this type of prescription coverage, at all. A national pharmacy, Walgreens, had NO experience with this type of insurance or prescription coverage. They advised that I cancel this right away as it was not insurance at all. I do not like to use the term fraud, however that is exactly what this is. I was rushed through the document signing process and not allowed to ask questions to the additional person I was asked to speak to while signing.

I need an explanation as to what I was sold and a confirmation that a refund has been requested, how the refund will be issued, and the date the refund will be received.

We apologize for any issues you faced when trying to use the ScripPal card that is provided through your health plan. However when our agent assisted Ms. in selecting an insurance plan through CHUBB, he went over all the benefits and exclusions of the plan in detail. He went over the indemnity cash benefits on the plan, the set limits on the coverage, and explained that the savings card provided by the insurance can be used at more than 60,000 pharmacies nationwide, including Walgreens. There is a direct number to their pharmacy help desk located on the card and a ScripPal representative would have been more than happy to assist the Walgreens clerk. We always strive to ensure the benefits are explained in detail before we send the customer through the verification process. The purpose of the verification is to remind the customer of the limitations and exclusions and also provides them with the details of the 30 day free look period. As a sales agency we submitted a request to the TPA to cancel the policy 6/28/17 as she requested, but ultimately the final confirmation and correspondence does come from Health Insurance Innovations once that request has been finalized. Our customer service team successfully submitted that request and HII processed a full refund back to her original form of payment 6/29/17. They were dishonest in the representation of their product, and all attempts to contact them have been unsuccessful.
6/12/2017. Contacted them, spoke with *** last week, 6/8/17, spoke with *** today, 6/12/17. Was told that they would cover health issues, first 6 dr visits were free, surgery/hospital was covered at 70/30%. When info came in email, Dr visits are only covered for $75.00, surgery/hospital only covered for $1000.00 per year, and they were charging me $50.00 more than I was told. I attempted to contact them numerous times today, unsuccessfully. I have 30 days to cancel this policy and get a full refund. I got the policy 1 hour ago, and already they have charged my card and are unavailable on every number listed for them. They said they are 100% on Revdex.com listing, which is true. Revdex.com site shows 100% negative with 25, now 26 customer complaints. I just want all of my money back. It is sick to mislead people. Also told that pre existing conditions were covered immediately. Lies. Their own email to me says 12 month elimination period.

When Ms. called in looking for health insurance 6/12/17 we found her an affordable plan that offered indemnity benefits towards her medical expenses. Our agent, *** went on to explain that it is considered first dollar coverage, therefore she would not have a copay or deductible and instead would be responsible for the remaining balance after her indemnity benefits are applied to the bill. This includes $75 towards six outpatient physician office visits and $1000 for in-patient major surgery. The agent explained those indemnity insurance benefits were payable regardless if she stayed in network because it is treated as a cash benefit. They then discussed the option of using the Multiplan Limited Benefit network to find participating providers that would grant her additional repricing to discount her out of pocket costs. Our agent let her know that discount could apply even if she exceeds her limit of doctor visits as long as she stayed in network.

We always do a full additional verification of benefits and exclusions and strive to make sure the customer fully understands the 30 day free look period and that a full refund is available if she decides to cancel within that timeframe. During the verification she was reminded that she could access a full list of the limitations and exclusions of the plan by reviewing her policy immediately after enrolling through the links provided in her welcome email. At this time we also gave her a full breakdown of her monthly premium and she authorized a charge of $345.16. This included her monthly payment of $220.16 and a one-time fee of $125, no additional funds were charged to her. We fully explained how the plan worked and that there was a 12 month waiting period for pre-existing conditions only for inpatient care and that she could access the other benefits of the plan on her effective date 7/01/17.

We apologize if she had any issues trying reach our customer service department, however our customer service department is readily available on our toll free number XXX-XXX-XXXX. Ms. was able to get in touch with us the afternoon of 6/13/17 where we were able to cancel her plan successfully. She was within her free look period being that the plan had not even gone into effect yet and a full refund of the $345.16 was issued back to her original form of payment. Please let me know if any additional information is needed at this time.

They finally refunded my money after multiple attempts to reach them. They are NOT "readily available" they are extremely hard to reach. When I finally got through, each successive person I was transferred to was ruder than the first. They were very condescending, and tried to argue with me several times. When I called them out on their attitudes, even the supervisor, I was immediately cut off and placed on a long hold. They did NOT tell me there was a 12 month waiting period on anything even though I asked about that specifically due to ongoing serious health conditions. This company lied during their sales pitch, lied and was rude during the cancellation process, and they have lied in their response to the Revdex.com. I do have my full refund back, but that is the only thing I am satisfied about.
