My husband purchased a LivingSocial deal as a gift for me for a gift certificate for a hot air balloon ride through the company [redacted] of America, which supposedly could be redeemed at a number of local hot air balloon companiesWhen we went to redeem the deal, we discovered that [redacted] had gone out of business and had an F rating on Revdex.comNone of the local companies offering hot air balloon rides would accept the [redacted] gift certificateI contacted LivingSocial three times to attempt to get a refund and was refused a refundI was told that many customers had complained to LivingSocial about this deal and that their legal department was "investigating" the company and any refund would be issued after their investigationLivingSocial would not provide any timeline on how long this would take LivingSocial should be held responsible to vet the companies they advertise before selling deals to customersIt is inexcusable to sell a deal to a custo

I've bought a voucher from the service, with the promise that the amount paid would never expire, even after the voucher had expired (basically the promotional value would expire) However, after the business for the voucher has closed, LivingSocial is refusing to refund the amount paid as store credit or similarConsidering the business for the voucher has closed, there is no way to use the amount paid that is supposed to never expire

I purchased two LivingSocial vouchers to be used with [redacted]  ***Each voucher was purchased for $The vouchers expired however I still wanted to use the purchased value with the companyI attempted to contact the company but they are out of businessWhen I contaced LivingSocial customer service I was told that the voucher had expired however I was not able to view the voucher on my account page in order to determine thisI was then told to contact the company directly to resolve the matterI explained again that the company is out of buiness and I have no way to contact themI called on December 28, at 9:am CSTI feel as though this is misleading to allow customers to purchase a service and then keep their money once the service is no longer availableNo where on the current voucher page am I able to see the expired voucher detailsI have screenshots of this issue

For about a year, I received many promotional emails from LivingSocial regarding its "Restaurants Plus" programUnder the program, I was promised 100% cash back (for various amounts) for purchases made at certain restaurantsI've tried to contact LivingSocial multiple times through several means, but still have not received approximately $in cash back, as promised by LivingSocial under its terms I spoke to [redacted] of Customer Service in the Fall of 2016, and she said she would process the refund for the missing the cash backI sent her all of the transaction information via email and through LivingSocial's Help webform (as she instructed) to no avail I've contacted LivingSocial via email, phone and social media, numerous times since then, but I have yet to receive response other than, "we can't do anything." It's been almost years, and LivingSocial still hasn't paid the cash back it promised

I had booked a hotel for three nights on July 23, and of the current year and I have a lots of incidents trough my stay I will be brief because there is an other company evolved in this matter an I already filled a complain against them as well (The [redacted] Island plantation in Fernandina Beach) I was completilly ignored and not recived any servises at the ocean side restarurant in the hotel for the contriary we encountered raises comment to the point that made my daugther cry from one of their staff I was transfer to a villa that was with bad odor and have the air conditioned vent extremely dirty I have to call the tree nigths requesting sheets and blanquets for the pull out couch because they didint have any in the room I was told by one off the check in staff over the phone that I wasent paid full price for the villa and made me feel like I was not entired to recive the same services as the other guesses because I booked the nigths trough Groupon the discou

I have a credit of $on account - every time I try to use credit I get an error message Merchant will neither let me use credit or issue refund

I paid $for a LivingSocial voucher for an architecture cruise in ChicagoBut when I tried to book the cruise during our recent trip to Chicago, the cruise ship was completely full and there was no availability We were frustrated that we could not get on the cruise because the vendor was overbookedSince the service that I purchased could not be provided, I immediately requested a credit from LivingSocial (as I had done successfully many times in the past), but this time my credit was deniedI called and emailed several times, requesting to speak with supervisors, but each time, I was told "no refund." This is a new motto for LivingSocial - one that I'm unaccustomed to hearing after being a customer for three years and purchasing dozens of services on their website I reviewed the webpage for the refund policy on this particular item, which clearly states: "No refunds IF you or your party are late or are unable to attend your selected reservation." As the company was overb

I purchased tickets to [redacted] Group from Livingsocial.com I purchased the tickets from my cell phone The information displayed on my cell phone was apparently not all the same information as the full website (according to living social's customer service) The fine print did not include an age restriction Apparently individuals under the age of are not permitted in the theater Half my group is under the age of HAD THAT IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEEN AVAILABLE, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THE TICKETS A "final sale" cannot be final if pertinent information is omitted, whether intentional or not It is not the consumer's job to ensure the text of a merchant's website translates properly across all mediums I have photographic proof, overlapping screen shots, showing that the age restriction was not on displayed on my phone under the fine print section I reached out several times to living social without avail

In November I purchased a voucher for services while living in another state Upon learning I was moving, I contacted Living Social ("LS") to refund or exchange the purchase After several conversations, they exchanged it for "Deal Bucks" (a program through which I may utilize the amount paid for other goods and services) I purchased a like-kind service in the state I moved to I did not move for over weeks after that time Upon trying to utilize the voucher purchased through the Deal Bucks, I was informed by the merchant that I could not use this voucher as I had also purchased one through Groupon and the voucher is only good for "new customers" Although the *fine print [redacted] says "Good for new customers only", this does not state whether it is the merchant or the LS policy Merchant told me they would allow a refund When requested, LS refused and has further refused to exchange my purchase for additional Deal Bucks to purchase other goods and services They further expressed

I ordered a voucher that was set to expire on 12/The vendor wouldn't honor itI contacted Living Social/Groupon and they stated that the expiration date is not actually the expiration date, taht you need to use it before that dateThey were clearly not in the US and every other "expiration" date includes the date on which the coupon/offer/etcexpires The rep refused to credit my account back and the vendor would not honor the Groupon/Living social deal Two weeks ago, we ordered [redacted] steaksThey never put it in my account, so I tried to order againUltimately, they put it in my account multiple times and wouldn't refund because it was hours past the time of orderThen, nobody would reply within their day "email" periodSo they are running some sort of scam and won't refund and/or honor the voucher period of time

I purchased a service on LivingSocial.com’s app back in May In July I tried to contact the business twice to redeem the voucher but didn’t hear back till weeks later in August and was scheduled for weeks later and now after the voucher expiration date but the business owner said they’d still honor the voucherWell the date of my appointment I went and the business was unable to perform the service so they rescheduled me for two weeks later since they’re only open day a weekWell that next appt was the day after a hurricane so the business canceled again and never called or returned a call to reschedule Well several weeks later I contacted living social about not being able to use my voucher but also because the business stretched out the appointments over several months now my voucher was expiredThe customer service person I spoke to claim to speak to the business owner and she’d call me right backWhich is odd due to the phone number she claimed to contact her on goes

I purchased A voucher for which I chose not to use and redeem the voucher for another purchase however I did not see a purchase within hours so I received a notification That my original about you would be restored as I did not find another voucher to use It on At the current time I see another voucher I would like to purchase and Wish a to refund the 1st unused voucher for purchase on a New voucher I'm currently being told I'm past the time for a refund but I'm not asking for a Refund but only of voucher to use for a new purchase which I may use at this time I feel none of this was clear at the very 1st time I tried to refine my voucher it sounded as if I could refund my about your again when I found a new service I wished to purchase Thank you for any additional time or support to help me addressed this issue Sincerely , [redacted]

we purchased a voucher for a story gutter cleaning for $ This was advertised in Milwaukee, WI When we called the company to set an appointment they told us they do not service Wisconsin This ad was deceiving since it was advertised in Milwaukee After we received this information the fine print said this voucher is good for a mile radius of zipcode The city was nt mentioned in the adThis zip code is located in Brookdale, IL We feel this ad is deceptive There are other ads that use the same picture this ad used

Hello, I purchased vouchers from Living Social totaling almost dollarsNeither business accepted my voucher and I have made several attempts with Living Social since my attempts to rectify the situation without success In addition to not offering an equal value trade for a service that was not provided but was paid for by me, Living Social has twice listed the [redacted] Maids voucher as redeemed and has now completely removed the other auto-detailing voucher that I am writing aboutBoth vouchers were paid for, neither was available for use Living Social has most recently responded by offering a dollar credit to my accountThis is absolutely unacceptable as it is one third of what I paid even though I received zero percent of what I paid for as advertised

I purchased a travel deal with Living Social for [redacted] Cabo San Lucas on May 1st 2012 for $799. I didn't get to use the voucher for there was an illness in the family but I was told that the value I paid for the deal would not expire and I could use the value at a later date. About 2 years later, in 2014, I was ready to book and use the credit but the resort wouldn't let me book. I called living social to try to get this resolved and after some time they said I could still use the credit when ready. In January 2016 I had the time off work to plan a vacation and use the credit but once again I couldn't book a room with it. The resort kept transferring me to different people, gave me a couple of email addresses but I got nowhere. I called Living Social twice about the issue and I haven't received any follow up even though they said they would contact me with some resolution. I called them about 2 weeks ago and I haven't received any assistance regarding this.

I purchased a Living Social deal for [redacted] of America on September 24th, for $I attempted to use my voucherThe first time I went to use it my balloon ride was cancelledThe next time I tried to use it the balloon company denied me being able to use itThey stated it was because of an unrelated balloon accident across the countryThis was extremely frustrating but they extended the expiration date on the voucher due to this issueThe next time I went to use this voucher I was unable to because the company has disappearedThere was no way to contact them and venders had not received their moneyI had been unsuccessful with any contact to them tooI had contacted the Revdex.com when I started to have problems but then they were unable to do anything once the company had disappearedI contacted Living Social on occasionsTwice I was told that my issue was being forwarded to management but I was never contacted againI had another online chat with them today an

Attempted multiple times to purchase a voucher for [redacted] Club membership for $35. The order would not go through, despite trying different method (tried 2 different credit cards and [redacted] account). I contacted LivingSocial customer service via chat about this problem on July 21, 2018. The rep took my information and stated that she was passing the issue on to her supervisor, who would email me when a resolution was reached. She also took my phone number. Three days passed and I was never contacted. I contacted customer service again, and again went through the same process of giving my information, being promised that I would be contacted. Again, nothing. This is terrible customer service, and false advertising since the voucher is seemingly unavailable for purchase. Customer service reps are making false statements!
