I placed an order and was never asked for a shipping address, so I assumed it was a voucherOr at worst would go to my billing address, which I entered as part of entering a new credit card number
Several days later, I get a notice that the package had been shippedto the wrong addressOne associated with an expired credit card on my accountI immediately reached out and asked for the address to be correctedI was told it couldn'tI asked them to ship me a replacement product to my correct addressI was told they couldn't
Throughout they never even acknowledged that it was their faultThey just said I had to wait until the package was returned as undeliverableI told them that wouldn't happenIt would just be left on someone else's doorstepThey told me there was nothing they could do until the package was returned
When the package was finally listed by the carrier as having been delivered, I told them I did not receive itAt that point they said the product was no longer available and they would refund me my money or give me an account creditI took the refundI won't every order from them again

Even though their product was not redeemable, they didn't want to give me a cash/credit/check refund and instead offered me Deal BucksI accepted, under the condition that I'd be able to use it for a similar cleaning serviceThe woman I spoke to also said that if there are issues redeeming this next one, I'd be able to get a full refund

I purchased a voucher for a hotel in Ocean Shores WAWhen my family and I arrived at the hotel it was not as advertisedIt was extremely dirty, smelled of smoke and everything in the room was old, mismatched and in poor conditionMy children were afraid to sit on the dirty furniture let alone sleep in one of the beds! We let the front desk know that we were not comfortable staying in the room and that the conditions were not as advertisedThey were very niceThe girl at the front counter apologized for the uncleanliness and condition of the roomShe canceled our reservation and refunded the money that I had paid for hotel taxShe then instructed me to contact Livingsocial for a refund of my voucherI contacted Living Social and they first stated that they wouldn't refund my money because the voucher had been usedI explained the situation, had pictures of the uncleanliness of the room and emailed them the conformation from the hotel showing that we had canceled our stay there

I purchased a voucher for *** Chimney Cleaners on November 15, I called the chimney cleaning company but they did not respond to repeated calls or texts to schedule my cleaningI reached out to living social who investigated They refused to issue me a refund despite the fact that the company was unresponsive and the advertisement for their services on Living Social was falseI did not receive any services and they refused to refund the $I spent to have my chimney cleaned

I purchased a travel deal with Living Social for *** *** *** Cabo San Lucas on May 1st for $I didn't get to use the voucher for there was an illness in the family but I was told that the value I paid for the deal would not expire and I could use the value at a later dateAbout years later, in 2014, I was ready to book and use the credit but the resort wouldn't let me bookI called living social to try to get this resolved and after some time they said I could still use the credit when readyIn January I had the time off work to plan a vacation and use the credit but once again I couldn't book a room with itThe resort kept transferring me to different people, gave me a couple of email addresses but I got nowhereI called Living Social twice about the issue and I haven't received any follow up even though they said they would contact me with some resolutionI called them about weeks ago and I haven't received any assistance regarding this

I was emailed a special offer from Living Social for a $*** gift card for only $ The offer was only for people who received the email, but the link didn't seem to work and wouldn't take me to any offer After several tries, the link took me to the deal website, but when I tried to purchase the deal it said that I had already purchased my limit of (which I had not) I tried several things, such as deleting my browser history or cookies and trying again Sometimes the link wouldn't work again and sometimes it would take me to the page but give the message about the limit I emailed the company about the issue and kept trying After several hours, the message started telling me the deal sold out When I received an email back from customer service, they told me the deal was sold out, then when I said to check the time on my email (that it wasn't sold out then) they told me I didn't get it because it was email invite only After replying that I did have the email invite a

My husband purchased a LivingSocial deal as a gift for me for a gift certificate for a hot air balloon ride through the company *** *** of America, which supposedly could be redeemed at a number of local hot air balloon companiesWhen we went to redeem the deal, we discovered that *** *** had gone out of business and had an F rating on Revdex.comNone of the local companies offering hot air balloon rides would accept the *** *** gift certificateI contacted LivingSocial three times to attempt to get a refund and was refused a refundI was told that many customers had complained to LivingSocial about this deal and that their legal department was "investigating" the company and any refund would be issued after their investigationLivingSocial would not provide any timeline on how long this would take
LivingSocial should be held responsible to vet the companies they advertise before selling deals to customersIt is inexcusable to sell a deal to a custo

I herein comfirm that the followings are true and accurate and I would like to take the corresponding legal responsibilities
American is a society of good faith, I trust American companies and individuals very much and hence I started to purchase commodities online from USA since year 2014, but I have never encountered any webiste other than www.livingsocial.com, the website cheats the buyersI recently learned that the website was rated at only on Revdex.com.org, and reported disputes
This September, I purchased two smartphones through www.livingsocial.com,*** Nexus 32GB 4G LTE Smartphone (GSM Unlocked New), the smartphones were delivered to China through US Subsidiary of SF Express (a famous Chinese company like *** ** ***)
When I received the smartphones, I found that they are both second-handed, and one of them the package was not original, both smartphones are customized for *** version but not for regular retail version
I contacted www.livingsocial.co

I purchased two vouchers from Living Social - one for photo sessions that I had a "lifetime" to use and the other was for duct cleaning Both vendors marked my voucher as redeemed although I was never redeemed either service I contacted Living Social to notify them as such and they advised me too contact the vendors, but I couldn't reach either one of them after repeated attempts When I was at my wit's end I asked Living Social for a merchant credit totaling $(the amount I paid for the two vouchers) and they said no because the vouchers are redeemed When I repeated that I never redeemed the voucher and I can't contact the merchant, they simply advised me to continue contacting the merchant and there's nothing they can do All I want is the services I paid for, but since these merchants are unreachable and Living Social isn't ensuring my purchases are honored, I want a refund for the aforementioned amount

On 7/4/2017, I purchased vouchers for admission to the California Academy of SciencesThe total for adult tickets and one child ticket was around $They made a mistake on the prices and refunded me $2.00, so I think the total was around $The problem was that these vouchers never showed up in my account so I could never print them out to use themThis same problem has also occurred with other purchasesI contacted customer service many times via emailThey were never able to fix the issueI did everything they askedI cleared my cache and cookiesI sent them screen shots of the error messages I'd get and they said they'd research the issue and get back to meThey never emailed me backThese vouchers expire in days from purchaseFinally I had to *** to find a phone number and I called in to get a refundThey said I only had days after purchase to get a refund but I said they never delivered the items I purchasedThey offered to email me the vouchers

I purchased a LivingSocial voucher for $for a murder mystery dinner I called the theatre different times in the past months attempting to make a reservation Every time I called there was no availability LivingSocial took my money but is refusing to refund or credit my account to purchase a different voucher that I can use somewhere else I called them today and refused once again

Had a horrible experience with Living SocialI was sold a coupon in another state hours away as a local dealSpecially fraudulent given they just showed Ridgewood, which is minutes from me in my state, when it was in fact Ridgewood in another state requiring hours of drivingCustomer manager *** told me that it was close enough to be local and refused to refund anythingwasted hour with customer support on hold, had to call twice to get a manager, first rep refused to get a managerattitude was unfriendly and I was told I should go check websites and read all the fine print so it was on meB/w did say anything in the fine print and instructions eitherI would like a refund$

I purchased tickets using a promo code The promo stated 25% discount up to $ My discount was only applied to of the tickets I had an online chat with *** that told me I was correct and discount would've been applied but was needed to be done individually I asked for a supervisor to assist and apply the discount since I qualified at the time of purchase *** came on the line and said he couldn't apply discount I do not feel this is good business practice since it was tricky to apply the discount Basic customer service would be to honor what I qualified for at the time of purchase Please advise

I purchased a night at *** *** Foxwoods CT My credit card was charged $ I need to cancel my reservation The fine print states that I can cancel within hours of the day of the reservation for a full credit I see the purchase in my Living Social app When I click on edit order to try to cancel, I got an error message I am unable to cancel through the Living Social app I then called the number that was in the app This brought me to Groupon They could not find my purchase They spent over a day researching it and said it does not exist They told me to contact Living Social There is not a way to call Living Social so I had to type in a chat with someone This person at Living Social could not locate my purchase so he could not cancel it *** *** has the reservation - they had not problem finding it However, they said the cancellation needs to come from Living Social At this point, I want the reservation cancelled and I want my credit I fee

Tried to use $credit - Merhcant refused to let me use it with statement claiming I had already bought the maximum allowed (pf changs) on 9/21/
When I comlained they claimed "it was sold out" even though still being sold on website
Since it became apparent merchant was purposely refusing to let me use my credit and had lied to me I informed them I no longer wished to do business with them and to refund my credit of $
Merchant refuses to do so

Hello, I purchased a living social deal early 2014, the business closed down last year The companies policy and companies similar to such (groupon) has accepted my form of payment, and if a business closes to no fault of the consumer, the consumer would retrieve credit for the amount purchased paid
The promotional value has an expiration date, and then after such date, you can normally use the amount paid at the 3rd party business In cases where businesses close, it makes no sense to just leave the consumer 100% out of pocket for the exchange, I have had similar situations happen with groupon, and no problem, they give me store credit for the online services
Below is a link to a similar situation happening with LivingSocial, and shows resolution with giving customers credit for amount purchased
https://watchyourbuck.com/2011/06/07/livingsocialdeal/#comments
I have been in contact with the business through many exchanges, I am demanding to see the terms and condi
