In November I purchased a voucher for services while living in another state Upon learning I was moving, I contacted Living Social ("LS") to refund or exchange the purchase After several conversations, they exchanged it for "Deal Bucks" (a program through which I may utilize the amount paid for other goods and services) I purchased a like-kind service in the state I moved to I did not move for over weeks after that time Upon trying to utilize the voucher purchased through the Deal Bucks, I was informed by the merchant that I could not use this voucher as I had also purchased one through Groupon and the voucher is only good for "new customers" Although the *fine print* says "Good for new customers only", this does not state whether it is the merchant or the LS policy Merchant told me they would allow a refund When requested, LS refused and has further refused to exchange my purchase for additional Deal Bucks to purchase other goods and services They further expressed

Hello,
I purchased vouchers from Living Social totaling almost dollarsNeither business accepted my voucher and I have made several attempts with Living Social since my attempts to rectify the situation without success
In addition to not offering an equal value trade for a service that was not provided but was paid for by me, Living Social has twice listed the *** *** Maids voucher as redeemed and has now completely removed the other auto-detailing voucher that I am writing aboutBoth vouchers were paid for, neither was available for use
Living Social has most recently responded by offering a dollar credit to my accountThis is absolutely unacceptable as it is one third of what I paid even though I received zero percent of what I paid for as advertised

I have done cryotherapy previously with another company and like it so I purchased a voucher for sessions on Friday 10/29, the merchant is closed Sat-Mon but I was able to schedule my first session for Tuesday 10/ After being checked in (at which time they took my voucher) I was informed that this merchant uses a different method to do this treatment Due to my claustrophobia I am unable to do the therapy using their method The merchant told me to contact living social about getting a refund which I did immediately both via phone and via e-mail In both instances assistance was declined (even when I offered to accept living social credit in lieu of a refund to my card) I would like some assistance in working with living social because I believe they are being unreasonable in regards to my situation, and on their website they advertise a "good deal guarantee" where if I contact them within fourteen days (which this has been) they claim they will work with me to make things r

I purchased mini *** Ipads from living Social and received them fineBut, inside the packets where are *** plugs and not *** Ipad PlugsI contacted the customer service department and communicated with Yenci and she said there is nothing they can do about itSeems like a Scam to purchase a product one can't use since there is not the correct plugs for them?

I placed an order with Living Social and have not received the product yet In the description of the item it states that the product will ship within 3-bus days of redemption It has been days After several attempts, I still have not received the product and they will not refund my monies

I purchased tickets to *** *** Group from Livingsocial.com I purchased the tickets from my cell phone The information displayed on my cell phone was apparently not all the same information as the full website (according to living social's customer service) The fine print did not include an age restriction Apparently individuals under the age of are not permitted in the theater Half my group is under the age of HAD THAT IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEEN AVAILABLE, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THE TICKETS A "final sale" cannot be final if pertinent information is omitted, whether intentional or not It is not the consumer's job to ensure the text of a merchant's website translates properly across all mediums I have photographic proof, overlapping screen shots, showing that the age restriction was not on displayed on my phone under the fine print section I reached out several times to living social without avail

Last Monday I spoke to *** at Living Social *** about a vendor I could not reach to even make an apptIt's all over the internet that this is a scamThe vendor has taken down their websiteNo one answers their phone*** could not get in touch with them eitherI was supposed to get an answer by 3:PM Thurs, within hoursNo answerIt's way over hours

I do not want Deal Bucks, I want a refund and I want my account closedYou have lied to meI am a long time customer but I am done with you

I order tablets on the 27th of November I was lied to days straight that it wasn't a issue with my payment or order and its processing just to have my order canceled after I brought more than a $in accessories for these tablets that can't be refunded to me and I'm extremely pissed off about this matterI was told that they ran out of inventory but this morning they still got inventory for saleI feel like since they took me thru all of this bull and the fact that I spent out money that cant be refunded to me that they need to make this awful situation rightI have shown my attorney all of message that I screenshot from conversations with them I'm trying not to make this a legal matter but I was want those tablets that I had ordered

Livingsocial advertises "local" deals and in my local deals there was something I purchased where I could convert photos to dvdAs I have done numerous purchases with them over many years I have never had the need to feel like I need to examine everything for restrictionsAfter I purchased them I went to look for how to redeem like and that is where I saw that this was a local deal only but for Illinois.......Not NY and not Long IslandThere should be no reason why anyone would think that they should have to travel 15+ hours just to redeem a voucherMy trip would offset the "savings" I would have gottenI think they fully tired to play bait and switch with its customers and I feel its disgustingI have purchased these same deals in the past where converting photos if not local you were able to mail them inI contacted customer support and they fed me well it was in the fine print but that is no excuse for them breaking their own advertisingThis was fully misleading

I purchased item thru Living social for voucher for *** *** I then ordered the personalized sign from *** *** Received it with the name on the sign misspelled I contacted Living Social and they say I need to go thru *** *** I contacted Personalized Planet and they gladly refunded my shipping cost which is the only monies paid to Personalized Planet from meThey referred me back to Living Social who I paid the $cost of the signLiving Social will not refund me the money even though I received a personalized sign with the wrong/misspelled name on it and can not be used I paid Living Social for the sign not *** *** I am requesting a refund

I purchased a voucher on Living Social for *** *** for $for a package worth $It was for a full day pontoon boat rental during Monday through FridayI tried to use the voucher times but was not able to secure a day that I could use it before it expired on August 23, As noted on my account, even though the deal expired, I still have a value of $(the amount I paid) available for use I called last week to see if I could book a rental expecting only to be able to use the $toward the cost I was told that the company had been sold and was no longer in business I contacted Living Social via email (no phone number is available on their site) and I was told multiple times that I would be able to use the amount I paid for the voucher They did not seem to understand that the business is closed so I emailed them a few more times I asked them where they would like me to use the $as the company no longer exists I asked if they could gi

Purchased a voucher from an out of town restaurantUnable to dine because our party was approached by two aggressive menThey were trying to solicited us for money but we informed them we weren't interestedOne man raised his shirt up at us to display what appeared to be a small hand gunWe pulled off to never return to that areaAfter notifying Living Social of our encounter we were told we would not be able to receive a credit, refund or anything for our unused voucherIt was not worth putting the lives of our family members lives on the line trying to redeem this voucherLiving social had no remorse in trying to understand our situationIt is very unfortunate that they never consider the customer concerns or complaintsThey are only worried about their hidden policies on purchase returnsI highly recommend not purchasing any vouchers from an establishment that feels its customers lives are not worthy when visiting these area businessesThey do not check the credibility of these businesses or the areas in which they are located before they place these items up for sale BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! I was only asking for a credit if the money could not be refunded

I've purchased two tickets to *** Wine & Food Festival, * ** *** *** * *** YoungCircle, ***, FL for Saturday, June 3, @PMWe went and found out that the dates were changed to July 8, as I thought maybe I purchased the wrong dateOn July 8th, I called ArtsPark Young Circle just to be sure it is happening because the weather was pretty bad that dayThe message was to contact the merchant where the tickets were purchased fromIn other words the event was canceledI contacted Living Social for a refund via email and they refusedSo I called and requested and I was promised to get a refund within to business daysIt has been business days and I contacted them two more times and said that they issued a refund to my credit card which I never received until this dayPlease helpTheir fine lines say" for any canceled events, they will automatically refund your account" but never did

A group of my co-workers and I purchased vouchers from Living Social for paddle boardingAccording to the email we were to call the paddle board company and schedule an appointmentDays later, I drove by the establishment and it was closed, I assumed because it was Memorial DayWhen I returned to work on Tuesday, I called to schedule an appointment Father's Day weekendUpon calling the number listed on living social's website, the number was no longer in serviceI went online and googled for the updated informationThe same number was listedI called and was told the paddle board company did not have another phone numberI immediately got in touch with living social only to find out that because days had already gone by, that I was going to receive a living social credit and not a refund to my debit cardThe representative I spoke with called the paddle board company while I was on the phone only to hear a message the number was no longer in serviceThe rep stated she would "escalate" the call and I would receive an email within hours with an updatehours passed and no emailI called living social and spoke with JuanJuan stated there was no record of my call or my complaintJuan stated he would start the "escalation process"I asked why the living social deal was still being offered on their website when they knew the company is no longer in businessHe did not have an answerHe went on to tell me he was going to find out who took my initial call and that they would face serious punishmentI told him I was only interested in getting a full refund to my debit cardI asked for a mailing address for the company so that I could write a complaintJuan suddenly was not able to hear me on the phone and the call was disconnectedI cannot believe a company would knowingly offer a service when the company is no longerI will never use social living again nor will I recommend them to anyoneHow can they get away with scamming customers

I provided proof of purchase for a Livingsocial deal I purchased and I even provided a copy of the living social deal I purchased and they said they can't find the deal and won't return my moneyI even submitted my bank statement showing the money deducted from my credit card on the date of purchaseThere system has a glitch and has no record of me purchasing this voucher and even though I submitted proof they still refuse to refund my money

I've bought a voucher from the service, with the promise that the amount paid would never expire, even after the voucher had expired (basically the promotional value would expire)
However, after the business for the voucher has closed, LivingSocial is refusing to refund the amount paid as store credit or similarConsidering the business for the voucher has closed, there is no way to use the amount paid that is supposed to never expire

I bought a groupon from Living social for permanent hair removal and the hair removal place never opened for my scheduled appointment and refuses to call me backLiving social has a day refund policy, but I had to wait a week to get into the hair removal salonWhen I asked for a refund from Living social they refused and offered a chance to put the money towards another grouponWhy would I want to do that when the first one didn't work out I would like my $dollars back because they are advertising for a business that has bad business practices

Two days ago I paid $dollars for a airfare and hotel voucher for a vacation to VeniceThe website tells you to redeem these vouchers in days so I quickly clicked the links to activateThen the website told me to go to the affiliated travel merchant's website and once I did the vouchers for my partner and I that I had purchased were coming up invalid
After that, I emailed living social's customer service and they told me they couldn't offer refund for invalid codes as they had been redeemedI tried to explain that I paid and received nothing for my money and they told me there was nothing they could do
I've also contacted and created a dispute with paypal.com since that was the method of payment and yet livingsocial has not responded on the dispute claims either

My sister lives in Japan (military dependant) I live in San Antonio (came here as a military dependant) My sister knows nothing of the services in San Antonio and thought sending me a gift certificate for a day spa through LivingSocial for my birthday was helpful LivingSocial sent me the email on 3/10/17, and when I received it I opened the email with attached "gift certificate" and saw what I believe was a mani/pedi service for a salon I have not been to but saw it was in San Antonio I am going on vacation in August and decided to save the email and gift certificate for services closer to my vacation date Today I attempted to open the "gift certificate", but I am unable as it gives the error
