Review: They charged me before the 30 day period and did not send the actual product but only a trial size. And the prize of that trial size was 89.15. Outrageous.Desired Settlement: Either a return to my bank, actual product and check refund.

Business

Response:

[redacted] did not receive a trial size product because we do not manufacture trial sizes. When we use the word trial it is because we give the customers a 14 day trial period to review the item. [redacted] called demanding a refund we did not deny her a refund we asked her to return our merchandise and explained that it is not a trial size. She refused to return the item and than threatened to issue a charge back claiming that she never received the item. We than went on to tell her that we had tracking from the USPS website and [redacted] hung up the phone. Until this day [redacted] has not returned our merchandise therefore she is not entitled to a refund.

Thank you for your attention to this matter

Horrible company to deal with. I was under the impression the first jar of Duplicell cream and eye therapy cream were $4.95 each. Two weeks later $85.97 and $80+ were taken from my account. I called to cancel the order and the man I spoke with told me just to return the next order and I will be refunded the money. This was April **. Today June ** I called, spoke with Mike, because I didn't receive the refund. This time I was told I was mistake, read the fine print on the web, I had 14 days to return. I was not told I will not be getting a refund. My face broke out so I will not be using the inferior product but I am out $170+ and cannot use the product.

I wish I had checked with Revdex.com before getting involved with Duplicell, because the only thing this company is "celling" is Duplicity! I ordered the "sample" products through a link that said [redacted] recommended them. After I used them for two weeks, I didn't see one bit of difference. Any drug-store brand would have been as good. When I found some reviews on [redacted], alarm bells went off. One of them told how Duplicell kept sending her product and billing her credit card, even though she tried to cancel. I wish I could thank her in person. My next click was to Revdex.com, and the rating I read was enough: a rating of F ! Thanks, Revdex.com !!!

Review: On 02/**/2015 my wife and I saw an advertisement on television for a product, supposedly created by a Medical Doctor, which would remove fine lines by improving stem cells on the face. Since it was a trial offer and cost only $4.95 for one product and $5.95 for the second product, I placed an order in my wifes name to get the free trial products, the costs were to pay for the shipping and handling.Several weeks later we received the products. My wife began using them and saw no real difference at least it was not doing as advertised. We did not reorder the products.Several weeks after that we were notified that our bank account with [redacted], was in a NSF state. Upon calling the bank we found out that the same company had charged us with two additional charges totaling over $160.00 which overdrew our account. The bank was now adding overdraft charges fees which increased our deficit to over $250.00. We advised them that there were fraudulent charges put on our account and advised them of the origin and how they got our account numbers. I had to go to the band and fill out a form for their investigative unit to look into. That matter is still in litigation, but the bank is refusing to reverse the charges. As my wife was not pleased with the product we placed no re-order and authorized no charges to our account. In a phone call to the company by my wife, they stated that we were on the automatic re-order list and they cannot do anything about the charges. We received NO PRODUCT(s) from them yet the charged us over $160.00 without prior authorization. The whole thing appears to be little more than a scam, they get your credit card number, supposedly to pay for shipping and handling, and then they bill your bank for an additional two charges and refuse to return the money. They advertise using the name fill and freeze on television and nothing that they say is true. They should be avoided at all costs. Stay away from Fill and Freeze and duplicell, they are crooks.Desired Settlement: Refund the money that was stolen and the charges incurred as a result of the fraud

[redacted] signed up for our 14 day Trial. By placing the Trial order [redacted] was shipped a 30 day supply of Duplicell P199 Face Therapy and Eye Therapy (just pay 5.95 and $4.95 for S&H). If she felt Duplicell didn't work for her, [redacted] had to call to cancel within 14 days from the day she purchased to avoid the purchase price of $89.95 and $85.95 and enrollment in the auto-shipment program. [redacted] did not do so. If fact [redacted] or [redacted] hasn't returned the products or even contacted us in regards to there order and charges. I have issued [redacted] a refund for all of her charges. The following are the traction numbers and amounts:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Although Duplicell has stated that they have issued a refund, as of yet I have not seen this supposed refund. I have been waiting so as not to erroneously say that they falsified their response. Because of their scam my bank account was overdrawn and [redacted] closed my account. If they tried to send a refund to that account it does not exist any longer. One Nevada advises me that no checks of any type have been sent to my former account. I would like you to reopen my complaint until such time as Duplicell actually refunds the money which they stated they were going to do or did. As you recall, Duplicell stated that they sent the products as well as billed my account. No product was ever delivered and no money has been received.[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here] As of todays date, 02/**/2015, I have not received the checks that Duplicell promised. My [redacted] checking account was closed and written off and they have advised me that nothing has been presented or rejected. Since neither my wife nor I have received any correspondence through the postal service, I can only assume that the checks were never issued as promised.

Review: When I signed up for a free trial of Duplicell, I was not aware that I signed up for automatic shipments. I knew I ordered two products and could return them if not satisfied within 30 days. I just received a second shipment yesterday and found out I was on the auto (once per month) plan. I immediately called today and got an automated system allowing me to cancel future shipments. I did that and got a confirmation through email. When I called back to return the shipment I did not feel I ordered or needed yet, I was told that because I cancelled my auto ship I could not return the set I just received. The young woman became argumentative saying I had agreed to the terms and conditions when I cancelled. When I asked to speak to her manager she claimed to have asked her and the answer is still no because I agreed to the terms and conditions. The recording and subsequent email confirmation did not say anything like that. Their policy is not at all what they claim and I feel I have been taken advantage of. I want to return the second shipment and be refunded my moneyDesired Settlement: I want to return the unneeded and unwanted second shipment and be refunded my money for this order.

Review: This company is advertising Risk free trial however, they aren't honouring the "RISK FREE TRIAL"! I called within the time frame required to cancel my service, and they charged my card for $89.95 & $85.97. This has put my bank account into overdraft. I have called them several times to make sure that they have cancelled and to my surprise they said that they couldn't stop the charges of those 2 amount's from going through and also that they couldn't refund my money back to me. I offered to ship back the products because I wasn't satisfied with them that they don't work and they are still refusing to refund my money. Yes I did ship both products back to them.Desired Settlement: I want my money back in full the 2 amount's of: $89.95 & $85.97 plus the over draft charges that my bank has charged me! Plus the amount of my medicine that I couldn't get at the pharmacy (for my [redacted]) because they wouldn't cancel my service and sucked all my money out of my account and then some putting my account into overdrafts because I didn't have a lot of money in my account to begin with. I have also mailed back both products to them, as they are no longer in my possession they have their products back. I have also expressed that to them that I needed to get my medicine for my [redacted] but they didn't care they just with drew the money anyway even though I had cancelled both products.

Review: I ordered a "free trial" of face and eye cream from [redacted] on March **, agreeing to pay S&H of 4.95 and 5.95. I entered my credit card info for payment. There was no info that I saw about further offers or agreements, in fact there was an assurance of a free trial offer. I received the product and began using it. I liked it and considered ordering more when the following week two more boxes arrived at my door. I was shocked when I received my credit card bill for 89.95 billed 3/** from Duplicell LLC and 83.97 from Try P199 Eye [redacted].

I feel it is not my duty to call these people and argue with them. I am going to return the additional box I received a few days ago. I am contacting my credit card provider to stop payment. I thought it was illegal to advertise a free offer with a small charge for s&p only, to then use that credit card to charge for unordered merchandise that I did not knowingly agree to. Why is the company allowed to continue when so many complaints have been filed. People have better things to do than to deal with this stuff.Desired Settlement: I will agree to pay the S&P for the 'free trial' order of face cream and one additional order of the face cream from Duplicell for $85 + 4.95 s&p AND the S&P for the free trial order of eye therapy and one additional order of eye therapy for $80.02 plus 5.95 s&p which has already been received by me and charged to my Wells Fargo card on 3/** and 4/* respectively. However I will return the additional box received and hereafter request that any and all further charges from either Duplicell or TRY P199 Eye Therapy be refunded to my account and no more products will be sent to me.

I do not wish to call the 800 number on the phone to reach these companies. They should have an easy to use process for cancelling orders on their web site. I could not find one.

After checking my credit card statement online I discovered the price had already increased! The charges went up to 91.92 and 94.90!!! Good Grief.

Review: I ordered 2 samples of the eye therapy and face therapy not knowing that if I did not return it within 14 days that I would be charged the full amount of $85.97 and $89.95. Order was placed 8/** and received them early September. I noticed on my credit card that these charges were being applied without my knowledge. I called today to get an authorization to return these products as I did not care for the product nor did I know I would get charged, I thought these were samples only. I was told I was not within the 14 day trial period to return them and would be charged the full amount. I was on the phone for a half hour with a customer service person, then [redacted]. They tell me they have a form that I signed and agreed to their terms. This is a scam. the [redacted] then agreed to give me a 50% refund. I would never deal with this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.

Review: I ordered a free trial product on 3/**/15, I received the product on 4/*/15 and opened it read the info and decided not to use the product. I called the number and requested a cancellation and to receive a return number for the product from Matthew. I returned the product on 4/**/15. I received a debit from my bank of $85.97 and called customer service inquiring about the charge. I didn't have my tracking number and [redacted] who was so rude gave me a different number to call. I called again on 5/**/15 due to another notice from my bank of another debit of $91.92 from this company. I spoke with [redacted] and was told my cancellation was not completed. I also told her I couldn't find the tracking number for the return of the product, however what's the use of having to enter the cancellation numbers received from the company on the outside of the box if they can't track it to the customer. This is terrible customer service as well as a plot to extort money from consumers. I advised [redacted] that I had received a confirmation email for the cancellation so why are they still debiting my account? She was unable to answer the question. I have received another confirmation email stating my order is cancelled, so there should absolutely not be anymore debitsDesired Settlement: First and foremost there should be another alternative to tracking returned items by the company RMA numbers that the consumer receives from them with explicit instructions regarding the return of the product with these numbers. The customer service department needs more training to ensure customer satisfaction and to prevent money extortion.

Review: I received a postcard in the mail that stated that I had a free reward card for [redacted] or [redacted]. I called the toll free number ([redacted] claim # [redacted] to claim my free gift. I gave them my bank card number to process for the shipping cost only, ($2.95) which I may clear to the representative, but in stead of receiving a free gift, they sent me some makeup or skin care product., which I did not order nor want. and stated clearly to the representative that I only wanted the free gift, but they charged my bank card $89.95. for the makeup. I spoke to a representative and she stated to send the package back. the package arrived at my home on the or about the [redacted] of November. the representative said that there was a 21 day free trial period, but if I did not want it to send it back. so on December * I mark the package return to sender for I did not want it nor did I order it. on December the * they charged my account $89.95 and then again on December ** they charged my account $65.00 . because of these unauthorized deductions from my account, my account is now overdrawn and I have received overdraft fees one for $33.00 for a check I did write for my phone bill and another overdraft fee $33.00 for the $65,00 they they attempted to take for a product that never came to me. I believe that this is fraud and a scam to ill-legally get money from [redacted] citizens. I have tried to resolve this issue with them, but I am constantly getting the run around. I need help. thank you.Desired Settlement: I want the overdraft fees which charged to my account because of there unauthorized deductions from my account 9$66.000, and I want the 89.95 refund for the stuff that they charged to my account that I did not order, but they took the money out of my account

Response:

This e-mail is in regards to [redacted]. [redacted] signed up for a 14 day trial program. The way the trial program works is that the purchaser is only billed shipping and handling initially. Once the 14 days expires you are then billed for the items if you haven't contacted customer service to cancel the trial program and return the products. [redacted] didn't return the products therefore she wasn't issued a refund. To avoid any other confrontation two refunds have been issued to [redacted]. Enclosed you will find the refund confirmation numbers: 12/**/2014 [redacted] By [redacted] - Refunded - $89.95 Trans-ID: [redacted]12/**/2014 [redacted] By [redacted] - Refunded - $64.48 Trans-ID: [redacted]Sincerely,[redacted],[redacted]

Review: I have contacted the Duplicel company, which is located in the state of New York, many times to request my refund. Each time I call I speak with a different person, all of which give me conflicting information. The merchandise was returned on Dec. *, 2014 @ 11:00 AM (Central time). My receipt from the Post Office in [redacted] states the expected delivery of merchandise would be Friday, 12/**/14. Duplicel said they did not receive the merchandise until Jan **, 2015! I was [redacted] to the merchandise, so I returned virtually all of the merchandise! The refund policy states "return empty jar for a full refund". Each representative I have spoken to have said a refund has been processed, but the REFUND HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED TO MY BANK! At first, they said it got hung up in their gateway, then, it would not process into my bank, then, it was processed 1/**/15! My bank said there has been NO ATTEMPT TO REFUND my account!Desired Settlement: All I want is a refund of $89.95, which I am due! This may not be a lot of money to many people, but it IS to me! I think I have been extremely patient with Duplicel! NOW I WANT MY REFUND!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The explaination given by the rep. Is not completely true. She never asked if it was used or returned. When I first contacted the company they asked for my address, which I gave, they said they could not locate my address in their system, I replied thats is because I have never been a customer and thats why they could not locate me in their system. I was asked to email my bank information showing it was deducted from my account, and I did. I was told that after I emailed that information a custer service rep would contact me back, that never happen. I called again and was sent to a generic voicemail, I left a message and never had that returned. Its pretty obvious if they cannot locate me in their customer database, that I am not a customer. The reason for the time of me contacting them from when I first noticed the deduction, was due to 2 immediate family deaths and 1 major illness. That shouldnt be a factor in this case. The only thing that is to be considered is that I am not nor have I been a customer, and the monies taken out need to be refunded. Any bussiness operating under the correct laws, would see that this is a result in an employee making a mistake while entering information into their system. I will wait, again, for a response. Thank You [redacted]

Review: I took advantage of a trial order of Dupilcell eye cream and face cream. Purchased via credit card $6.97 + $4.95. After using the product for less than 30-days, I broke out in a rash and the skin around my eyes became swollen. I stopped using the product approximately 2-weeks after the products arrived in the mail. I didn't think it was a huge loss since I took advantage of the trial shipment. On June **, 2014, I noticed Duplicell automatically charged my credit card for $85.97 & $89.95 plus a $1.79 foreign transaction fee. I called Duplicell's customer service and was told that in the fine print, it clearly stated that it is a 14-day trial period and that if you don't call to cancel within the 14-day period, you will be charged for the full cost and be auto shipped every month. I explained how my skin reacted to the product and was told that it didn't matter. My account was finally closed but they refuse to reverse the charges even if my skin is allergic to the product. I told them that I would return the product but was told they do not accept opened containers for refunds. All I want is my money refunded for a product that ruined my skin. Any decent company would agree to my request. Clearly, this company uses unethical tactics to lure unsuspecting customers to try their products and then has the audacity to not stand by/guarantee their products when it hurts someone.Desired Settlement: Full reversal of charges made to my credit card.

Response:

[redacted] did call our Customer Service Office and expressed that she wasn't aware that she would be charged for the two products and that she had a reaction to the products. We then explained how the 14 Day Trial program worked, we apologized for the reaction, and then asked her to return the products to be refunded for the 2 charges. [redacted] has been issued two refunds one for $89.95 and the other $85.97 on 6/**/14 to her credit card.

Review: Ordered a sample for which I was billed but which never came. Then an order came with the charge applied. I did not notify them that I didn't want the product because I never had the occasion to try it and forgot that I ordered the sample. I noticed the charge for the sample on my bill in May, but thought that it would come. Instead I received the full shipment, didn't realize that it wasn't the sample, tried it out, was charged and when I called was told that my account would be cancelled, but that no refund was available as I called after the 14 day limit.

I have learned an expensive lesson. NEVER buy anything off the internet.Desired Settlement: To be done with this company and any others that advertise on the internet with a free sample offer!

Response:

To whom it may corncern:

[redacted] did not order a free sample nor did we advertise anywhere on our website that you would receive a free sample.
