The business was the custodian of my Simple IRA plan and never exercised fiduciary responsibility to inform me of issues relating to deposits and company matches
The school I worked for went years without adding funds to retirement plans and the agent responsible, Mr*** never alerted any of the plan holders of the issues There was no single mention of the issues and Mr*** was on site numerous times soliciting additional plan participation by enrollees in the plan, but never communicated that contractually guaranteed funds were never placed in the plan

*** *** our investor adviser in *** ** knew of a partnership in a business he was working on getting set up over a month before it actually opened; he waited until approximately working days of the business opening and flagged all five of our accounts with Edward Jones as being involved with illegal activity This could not be furthest from the truth The truth is they bought *** products from *** *** *** (which is on the dow and Nasdaq) and produces synthetic *** products, man made *** products and Himalayan herb infused with the *** Everything in the store is LEGAL My husband agreed to do everything they demanded of himGet out of the business HE DID I worked tirelessly to remove his name from the LLP, IRS, Business license and provided proof of this to the main office Then after all of this they still demnd that we - the entire family has to close all of our accounts One issue is with *** *** tagging our account as illegal activity ----WE can n

For the last several years I received mailers from the company asking me to update my information for my accounts Sometimes the mailers are just an advertisement, but most of them are asking me for information I do not any accounts with them I have called them numerous times to ask them to remove my information from their database I continue to get information after I have asked to be removed from their mailing list

Been with Edward Jones for years , then my manager retired , they brought in Chad hanelman to replace him , and all of my investments where sold at the reins of Chad , with out my authority , I contacted Edward Jones with my complaint , they said Sorry very poor service , think twice about your investments , because they are at there discretion of the manager , this was Edwards Jones reply

My parents passed away this year and they had funds with Edward Jones In the process of taking care of the money we were asked to sign a form with the standard "by signing this you agree with the terms above" line where we sign In reading the terms, it says that there will be a $fee The small print said that the fee MAY BE waived We were told verbally that the fee would be waived I called and asked for it to be put in writing that the fees would be waived I was told they could not do that When I asked why I was just told we don't do that I then called corporate and was told that they couldn't simply send me an email that said "no fees will be charged" They said the compliancy department had to approve all emails I asked to talk to that department and was told that I could not talk to them I told the person I was speaking with at corporate that if fees are to be waived then why can't it be in writing? By me signing the form, which I HAD to do to receive my money, I was agreeing to a $fee I was told that there was no form stating fees are waived I told them it was simple just make one or email me stating it Edward Jones completely refused to put in writing that there would be no fees If an agent is able to waive fees they should have the ability to put in writing those fees are waived I had a hard time signing the form because I didn't agree to their terms, but I had to sign it on their terms Totally unprofessional and seems like a dishonest place Why worry about putting it in writing? Seems fishy to me!!

I have been a Edward Jones client, for more than a decade Our income tax forms, for 2016, were completed and e-filed by a tax preparer on Feb7th We have been told by the IRS, since late February, that they can not issue a refund to us because they have not received a FedWithholding 1099-R form from Edward Jones & Co After many calls to Edward Jones Tax Dept., with no help except their explanation that they submitted all FedIncome Taxes withheld by Edward Jones for all their clients when it was due But their submission of withheld taxes was paid in a lump sum for all clients, and was not broken down for individual accounts I have been told by many different IRS agents, that our refund could not be paid until proof of submission of Form 1099-R was presented by Edward Jones to the IRS I was also told by the IRS, that all companies must submit proof (Form 1099-R) of individual employee/client accounts before they will issue any refund due, and there are penalties

I am filing a claim against *** B ***, of Edward Jones, for failure to professionally and ethically perform his duties toward me
There is a much larger claim now residing in the Litigation Office of the Edward Jones Company that as of this date has not been resolvedOur thought was, if we could resolve the former claim that we would allow this smaller claim to become mootSince that has not occurred we wish to go backward and make this claim
In 2012, after four years of losing my wife (***) and I concluded that if the market ever improved that we would withdraw our investments from Edward jones and invest in other financial institutions that had our deposits insured (FDIC & NCUA)
We made an appointment with Mr*** and explained just thatWe were approaching senior status (now both over 80) and that we wished to withdraw our account in mutual funds, but maintain a 20-year bond with 6% interest

It is interesting that Edward Jones has an A+ rating on your website, but on Consumer Reports they have just star.*** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***

Ms***, We recently received your complaint # *** from the RevDex.com regarding your Action Pro White accountWe take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional informationAccording to our records, we received your
order on April 1, and shipped your package the same day.The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a ten day trial period starting from the date of your order processing in which you could cancel your account to avoid further chargesThey also indicate that “you must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $ten days from the date of your order processing for the product.” These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our productAdditionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to. When you ordered the product you also checked a box indicating that you had read and agreed to the terms of the offerWhen a customer checks that box we must assume that they have actually done what they are stating they didIf there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $on April 11, Thefirst time we heard from you regarding the cancelation of your account was when you spoke to a representative on May 13, after you had already been chargedYour account was immediately canceled and you have not received any shipments or charges since thenAt that time we issued you a returned merchandise authorization number to return your May shipment for a refund of the full product priceYour initial shipment and charge of $was not refundable as we did not hear from anyone to cancel within the trial period.Your return was received within the return deadline date and a refund of $was already issued back to you on May 15, That is the full product price of the May shipment minus $for shipping costs, which per the terms that you agreed to is not refundableAs stated in our purchase terms you may only return the most recent shipment for a refundSo, in summary, we have issued you a refund for $but your account is not eligible for any further refunds. Your account remains canceled and you will not receive any further shipments or charges.*** ***

I began my experience with Edward Jones about one year ago My account was set up for Roth At first, the adviser told me I could make deposits of any amount till I met the amount able to invest of $5, I began making deposits and was informed by the staff that I actually had enough to get started investing At the time, I had $2,in the account The adviser then told me they would not recommend investing yet because of the fees and would need the full $5,before starting
I stopped calling to make deposits until I was ready to with the full amount I called to transfer the amount like I had done prior, then informed I could not transfer because the adviser was on vacation After waiting two weeks of waiting for the adviser to return, I followed up with him to learn I would need to create a new Roth account due to my current account being a Grandfathered Roth Also, my electric transfer will need to be resigned due to needing a new account
I held my ground and asked for the electric transfer Sister had sent money by check like the adviser requested The check was not applied to her account for six weeks
I am on my fifth phone regarding transferring money Every time I call, my adviser denies my request There is a different excuse all the time like the adviser states he doesn't have the right set up for the account, unable to operate his computer because of the updates, and unsure of the guidelines for my account because he hasn't read the page document regarding the new terms of my accountHe usually lets me know he will "research it some more."
I'm not happy with my service with Edward JonesI understand I am new to investing and getting started I feel like I get the round around due to my age and the small amount I have to get started with I picked the firm because my mother, uncle, aunt, and grandmother are current customers and seems lukewarm about their experience I have never met a Financial adviser who would not take my money I was not anticipating the unprofessional-ism regarding a simple retirement account I wish I would've found the consumer reports list of questions to ask before hiring an adviser and the found information like BrokerCheck or Investor Adviser Public Disclosure website to help make my decision to hire an investor

Edward Jones is refusing to transfer our account to another account On November 28, I sat across from my banker at the *** *** *** in *** NE(***) and requested him to intervene, the two of us contacted the corp office of Edward Jones and attempted to set up a transfer of our account to the *** Bank The Edward Jones representive said he was not licensed in the state of Nebraska and passed this from person to person , to person ending up with no one helping us Our bank representive *** *** told their representive that in all the years that he has dealt with transferring funds he has never had this much trouble!!! The Edward Jones respresentive proceeded to hang up on him Mr*** suggested that we contract the insurance company Edward Jones utilizes we gave this company all the appropriate transfer information This initial request\ contact took place on November 28,additional phone calls to Edward Jones Corpoffice were made by myself

I opened my IRA account on 4/18/ I closed my IRA account on 2/26/ So complete length of time I have had my account with Edward Jones has been < years or about 34-months However they charged me years of annual fees I was charged $in April of 2013, $in April of 2014, $in April 2015, and then another $in February 2016, even though the fee was not due until April of So I have only had my account < years, but they have charged me years of fees totalling $ I have contacted the #and local office and have only been told, "we don't pro-rate the fees" However I'm not asking them to even pro-rate the fees, I am just aking NOT to be charged for fees I don't owe In addition I had to pay $just to close my account, which I feel was exorbitant and predatory to consumers I don't understand how they earned $95?? I filled out all the paperwork myself, and at most a wire fee to send money out is only about $15-$ It apppears
