My mother died and had a 401K/Roth IRA with this company This company refuses to send me the beneficiary information via mail to my home address I have called their business and verbally given my address to them I have emailed it to the main branch office I have even directly emailed it to them
This company continuously tries to force me to give them my personal information over the phone so that I will have nothing in writing from their company They will not identify specifically (in writing) what they want to do with the information They will not inform me (in writing) where the funds will be kept at This company also will not express to me (in writing) who will have access to the funds and why they would have access

On 3/8/I contacted Edward Jones - *** *** Office and instructed them to sell securities that were in my portfolio specific to not being in kind transfers of where I wanted to go I was told I needed to call in and give a verbal of which I did on 3/8/They continued to tell me they needed transfer documentation and would not liquidate the securities as I had requested
I received a call from *** * on 3/9/informing me they would not sell the assets per my directionI informed him on the phone as I did in a secured message to them that the account would be transferred from Edward JonesThese needed to be liquidated so I could initiate the transfer
I received no communication or action on the account3/10/I sent a secured message to them stating that I wanted to confirm that the sale notice was placed and that I wanted them liquidated and held in cash so I can transfer them out I did not want a check issued

I canceled the order on 12/09/2015. in the email I stated that this was ordered by a person under the age of thus not acceptable according to your terms. Your response from your Customer service team states as follows. This email is being sent to confirm that your account has been cancelled. You will not receive any other shipments. Per our conversation today, $will be billed to your credit card for the products we've already shipped to you. There is no need for you to return any of our products. It may take up to hours for this charge to appear on your credit card statement. Now two days after I canceled the contract and you agreed that the account was closed, your company charged my account $then on 2/22/2016l you again charged my account $105.22. This is not acceptable, I feel your company not only have stolen money from me, but you don't even follow your own rules as again, the person who ordered this item was only as I stated in my first complaint, There is no way I am pay this and have taken action. Fees are excessive 5%+ Commissions$account close out fee
$IRA Fee every year, and they will charge you another $when you close your account, regardless if another full year has passed They don't "pro-rate" fees, so guess who makes out on that deal, how convenient for them to fee you again They are NOT looking out for your retirement, they are trying to get a piece of it by charging you fees every chance they get Novice investors and elderly watch-out!!! They will take advantage of you Please know, there are many better places to invest with much less expenses to your nest egg and little to no annual fees Edward Jones is out to make themselves a profit, having my account there only cost me a lot of money Lesson learned Do your research, this is one of the most expensive places you can invest

There is a much larger claim now residing in the Litigation Office of the Edward Jones Company that as of this date has not been resolvedOur thought was, if we could resolve the former claim that we would allow this smaller claim to become mootSince that has not occurred we wish to go backward and make this claim

 bOver a year ago there was $left in my Roth IRA account, and over the past year they charged me a yearly fee of $40, which I understand leaving $in the account Over the last year my financial advisor left the company So I have tried to contact the company on multiple occassions trying to remove the remaining $from the account, and leave it open so that I could reinvest in the future I have been told my employee *** ***, and *** at the corporate office ***, that there is a $closing of my account fee I informed both of them that I did not wish to close the account, simply withdrawl my liquid assest left in this account They both told me that I couldn't remove my money which was left in this account because of their closing fee I tried to explain to them that I didn't want to close this account, just remove my assets from it On two seperate times they both told me they would close the account resulting in a $balance

I owed $1,in taxes and paid my accountant $to amend my taxes for 2012, 13, , I was contributing to a Roth IRA in Washington state with an office in Kirkland with agent *** *** He never followed up to make sure that we were eligible for ROTH We could have invested in traditional IRA and then converted at end of year NOTHING Then he blames my tax lady for not catching it Ed Jones never sent me a tax statement hence it did not get brought up to my tax person She is not a financial advisor *** committed gross negligence and then tried to get me to do nothing My tax lady stated I should amend my taxes and I have been put under financial distress to do so not to mention my retirement put into was WRONG Bad financial planner who like to point the finger at others for his oversight Fidelity financial advisor picked up on this in five minutes that we may not be eligible Putting your head in the sand is bad business ***

I wanted to let the Revdex.com know that I have checked our *** account and the funds are now in there as of today 2/13/2017. Since it took Edward Jones from 11/28/and Edward Jones finally writing the check on 1/30/2017, I am wanting Edward Jones to refund the fee of $from
*** *** and then 2% daily interest that I lost from the funds not being transferred into the *** account for two months(I am allowing weeks for the time for processing and transferring an account to another institution.)

My mother passed away on October and had a Transfer on Death document in place to devide her assets to designated beneficiaries Was originally told assets could be obtained within or daysAlso, my two.nieces who are to receive 25% were told they had to open a Edward Jones account to gain their share After a few days then it would be two monthsIt is now January and I have not received the distribution Also, no idea what was being done with the money he how it was down voided equally If my mother was deceased who controlled the investments during that time I asked to speak to someone in the estate dept and never received a callThen asked to speak to the next level of management above the branch and to date have not received a call
