I responded to a telephone sales callThe agent/employee offer services on prominate placement of my business on Google MapsThe listing is a free listing on Google maps, but their fee of $ per month for months, would include prominate placement and all services I would need to maintain the accountIt took week to place my business on Google MapsI was charged a setup fee of $ The monthly charge was also paid, yet I was not placed on Google MapsWhen I contacted EGumball after I paid the first $ 299.00, for set up and listingThey informed me that they would sent a letter with a secret code number , to establish proof of my businessIt never arrivedI suggested a certified letterThen they said they could not reach me by phone at my business addressAfter or weeks, I sent a picture of my sign at my addressTo post took weeks I was also informed that my phone number has too much information and miss informationI would take up to months or longer to correct this situationNone of this was discussed in the sales pitchOnly my prominate listing placement and to resolve any problems in maintaining my account with Google MapsWhen I called EGumballs phone service agents/employees for helpThe first agent/employee promised to resolve my problemsThen asked me to speek with her supervisor cencerning the top quality of her helpWhen I called back the second time to speak with a service rep, reguarding the services I was promissed again, and did Not receiveThe resolve was to much information and miss information related to my phone number(again)truely no resolved what so everI emailed a director at EGumball for help, Then requested a refund for all the months of services that I did Not receiveEGumball agents/employees continue to contact me claiming the promises made to me by their sales agents/employees could Not be compleated, as they need months and months to resolve all the information and misinformation attached to my business phonePlus, they explained that I could not really see all the work that they have doneTo me, it sound a bit like the story of the Emperors ClothesNothing that I or anybody can see.What is sold by EGumball's agents/employees is not what the consumer receives I'm very disapointed with EGumball, and their business practices

They never sent what they have done ?

Our conversations with the account representative and the executive account representative were of no help, they made me feel like I was being backed into a corner and said that they had already done the services that they stated they would do, however, when we log onto the control panel and or visit *** we continually found the mistakes that they did not fix. TWO MAJOR DISCREPANCIES FROM OUR LAST PHONE CONVERSATION WITH eGumball:1) Executive Account Rep stated that the "vendor" who sold us the product is from and independent contractor company and that those vendors give inaccurate information from time to time because "they don't know the product"2) Executive Account Rep disclosed that *** is being sold and therefore they can't do any work on that search engine. This should have been disclosed to us months a go when we started questioning our account representative about services not being fulfilledWe are rejecting because we continue to come to an agreement with them and they are not keeping their end of the bargain and now that we have canceled the account they want to charge for over $for canceling early -- we are petitioning that eGumball waive this feeWe have gone back-and-forth with them for the past three months and can't come to an agreement that is in the best interest of 1st Avenue Salonbusinesses that abuse the "power of a contract" need to be held accountable when they don't provide customer satisfaction.

[The business is ignoring my issue and is colluding the facts. I have asked repeatedly from the business to provide proof of documentation that they said was sent to the wrong email address. I was told initially that it was a $yearly fee to correct listing with other directories, I waited days and my listing was the same incorrect listing across all the directories. After telling them I am not interested with the service, they sent me emails saying I owed them for an entire month contract, however, they have failed to produce documentation including emails to support their claim. This is the last request that I will make to have them stop calling me and part ways, otherwise, I will report this to California Consumer Affairs also, and file suit for fraud and unfair business practice]

I hired Egumball to correct my old business info but instead Egumball didn't do it Egumball submitted for different directories This wasn't explained to me when I signed up in late November If I was explained then I wouldn't had sign up with you All Egumball did just try to get the money Not only that, I saw that Egumball didn't start the submitting process until late March but while I was being charged since 11/ I also warned them ahead of time that I was in the process of changing new website So when my subscription expired, Egumball didn't even update me of their process regarding update my website in those directories In fact, I looked up, none of those directories that they did was even updated with new website They didn't even give me the login and password so I can go into those directories to update it myself when my subscription expired The other major problem with EGumball was they had used my personal email in those directories instead of ** ***s email My personal email is only for communication between me and Egumball Therefore, not only Egumball didn't correct the problem after I signed up but they even caused more problem using my personal email in those directories beside not updating my old website to new website I had spent quite sometimes to request those directories to remove my personal email as well as update my website Therefore, Egumball is not entitle to the payment that they had received from me, besides the streess and emotional strain they had caused They had mislead me to subscribe to their service I am request my money be refunded If you need proof that those directories had been update my email and website then let me know since I spent my time doing that, not Egumball Egumball don't deserve my payment Please refund immediately

Don't use this company! They will straight up lie to you! Told me that someone came off the top listings and that they are looking for someone to take that spot That was a big LIE!! I was told, that they do tell people that to get the business but cannot guarantee you will be in the top I was told it was a goal to get you to the top but not guaranteed at all to put you there My account was not activated within the first days and I requested several times to cancel I was told that I would not get a refund at all, if I canceled before account was activated I was told that they were in the business to make money and not lose money! I asked about the "Performance Guarantee" they said " just because I want to cancel before my account was activated, I cant just opt out without penalty" After I spoke with them, they told me that they will for sure have my account activated today That way I cant get any refund at all! They only did that because I requested to cancel and try to get money out of me! EGUMBALL IS HORRIBLE & LIARS! Just out to get your money! DONT USE EGUMBALL!!!!

This message originally read on 10/3/2017Signed up for services on 12/05/2016, Quality Control completed on 12/09/2016,Video completed on 12/12/2016, Control panel available on 12/13/2016, Search engine verification calls took place on 12/19/where a message was left for a return callA follow up call was placed on 12/20/where the customer stated that they were busy in a meeting and would return the callAn additional follow up call regarding the progress of the campaign and a walkthrough of the control panel took place on 12/22/2016.On 12/I was asked to complete my dashboard in which I didI never saw a video? Never shot a video for them I was not company that was in charge of sending out the verifications for the search engines, Egumball was. For reasons outside of my control, that was not done. Egumball was in charge of that. I am not saying they did not try, I am saying it was not done. That is why they were fired. I found that my business was not verified on Bing. My control panel showed me there were not hits on Bing. I was sold a solution that was going to be targeting Bing and google. It was working on google not Bing. It was not “live” on one of them, that is 50% of what should have been delivered. The big point that I am trying to make is that after months in I found the problem after I was asked to step back for months while it ramps up. Someone over at egumball could have spotted it if they were looking at the campaign. While we understand the customers frustrations our sole intention is to establish long term relationships with our customers by earning their trust from results. While we do not control the search engines themselves, we have a proven track record of increasing the exposure of our customers online business information with lower turnaround times than the industry average.I would have enjoyed partnering with a company that was looking after the campaign even on a quarterly basisUnfortunately that did not happen for me. You absolutely do not understand my frustrations, Hence the 130+ phone calls, countless emails and the ongoing BS that continues. I want a receipt stating the account is closed in good standing to part waysDo the right thing.We ask that the customer give an account executive the opportunity to Identify the current challenges facing the campaign and the opportunity to address and correct any concerns that they may have. This customer currently has two different accounts with the same business name and different phone numbers, which is a huge risk in terms of Google guidelines and effects their business’ trust score, which is important for rankingOne of their accounts is, in fact, ranking but

The customer hired eGumball to increase their online visibility in September of During the initial stages of the campaign the service department uncovered many inconsistencies with the business information including multiple business names ( ** *** ***/ ** *** ** ***/ ***
*** ***/ * * * *** *** ***), Multiple addresses (*** * *** *** / *** * *** ** ***), and multiple websites ( *** / ***) The customer was informed on multiple occasions by the service department of the extent of the work that needed to be completed in order to accomplish the desired results The customer was also provided with a control panel to track eGumball progress on the account The customer informed the service department on 1/19/that they were not receiving enough traffic from the service and requested to cancelOn 1/22/the client had a conference call to discuss their specific situation and the traffic that had been generated from the service The client agreed to extend their service agreement with eGumball at that time On 8/15/the customer called to cancel the contract due to financial distress Since the customer had not yet fulfilled their service agreement, the service department attempted to review the service, including the customer traffic reports, which was previously a concern of the customers The customer had extended their service agreement with eGumball due to the results that had been generated Since we were unable to review the service with the customer we ask that they contact their Account Executive for a full review of the services that have been provided Their Account Executive can be reached at *** ext*

During Mr***'s campaign, we continued to search and update his citation cluster per our agreementIf you perform a Google search by Mr***'s phone number: *** You will find that over 70% of the known citation sources have been updated to his *** Court address
What Mr*** also needs to understand is that we submitted his website to Google Plus at the start of his campaignAlthough Mr***'s website passed through our control check, it was later found to redirect to a Japanese siteFor the record, we do not control the hosting or content of Mr***'s business websiteMr*** was made aware of this, and successful rankings, on 8/27/We believe this greatly affected Mr***'s trust and ranking in Google Plus once Google pushed a new indexAs result, Mr***'s listing was reduced to the supplementary index of Google

egumball has VERY good telephone salespeople who will call and call you businessThey will promise ANYthing to make a sale as they did our business, and with your company credit card charge and charge and do nothingThey did not fulfill their promised however, after months I managed to get done what I had asked them to do and been assured they would on my google my business page myselfNow I am trying to get back control of my listingA highly negative and expensive experienceDo not do business with these people
