Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Harvard Collections has a number of these same type of complaints. These complaints mostly have to do with Harvard attacking credit to collect on bills that don't exist In my case, I lost my job because I failed my background investigation for my clearance. Harvard had placed a collections account on my credit without even notifying me that they were looking for a payment. No letter, no phone call no nothing until I lost my job. And they were trying to collect for a company that was out off business years ago. They did not count on me finding the records from that company in a back office of another company. These people will go on doing this to other people until they are stopped. This has cost me about $10,for a $phony bill. I do not want these people to continue to hurt others. By the way, these jpg attachments you send do not make any sense
Sincerely,

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/07/27) */
This account was closed in our offices in April. Since the account was settled in full, a letter stating the account was settled in a full and a zero balance was due was sent on 7/6 to the same email address that is listed for the Revdex.com....

Another settled in full letter was sent to the address on file, which is different then the address provided to the Revdex.com. Is the address provided to the Revdex.com the correct address? If so, HCS can send out the settled in full letter to the address provided to the Revdex.com, and update our records. Our records indicate the account was removed from the CBR's on 5/18/15. I have placed a request to have this reviewed on our end with the CBR's.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/07/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have had to file disputes to have the agency remove this from my credit. Each time I call Harvard collection they tell me it's been done months ago. No credit bereau companies have received this and deny speaking with anyone from Harvard collection. Transunion has settled my dispute. Equifax and experian are receiving no response. I did receive my receipt.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2015/07/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is reported opened account with outstanding balance. I understand it will be reported settled not paid in full.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/07/29) */
Since this account was settled in full, that is how it will reflect on the CBR. It will not be completely removed, versus show Settled In Full. If this is how it is currently reflecting on your CBR then that is the correct reporting.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/26) */
Your complaint has been received. After speaking with the Director of Operations, HCS will remove the account from the CBR 72 hours after the payment posts to the account. You will be provided with an AUD control number, which confirms...

the CBR deletion.

I received a letter from the company that they removed the information from my three credit reports and I did verify that it has been done. There's no further action needed regarding this matter.  Thank you.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/05/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The 30 days are up. The debt was not validated within those 30 days so now it needs to be deleted from my credit report.
Final Business Response /* (1000, 34, 2014/08/25) */
As stated before, the information has been sent out three times. The information was sent out 4/30, 5/28, and 7/30. It was sent to all addresses provided to ensure receipt of the documentation. HCS has provided you the information within our 30 days twice, and provided a third copy to all addresses to avoid any confusion with the multiple addresses we were given.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2014/06/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The address has always been the same, it was even provided in my dispute letter from over a month ago. It is not my problem that the paperwork was allegedly mailed to the wrong address. The FCRA states that the creditor has 30 days to provide validation of a debt when requested, and it wasn't. This account needs to be deleted immediately.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2014/10/13) */
Your complaint has been received. After reviewing your account HCS has contacted our client. Per our client they have stated there are two accounts for the same amount. One is for a date of service on 10/02/11 account number:XXXXXXXXX. ...

The second for date of service 10/05/11 account number:XXXXXXXXX. Invoices and verification was also sent out to you on 9/8.

This company has called my cell phone number about a dozen times leaving an automated message to call them at 844-289-8210 as they are trying to collect a debt. I do not have any ! I am sick of them calling. I have read several reports online about this company. I do not know who they are or how they got my cell phone number. Hope you can help me.
Thanks

This response is in regards to your case # [redacted]. The account has been deleted from Mr [redacted] CBR and you will be receiving a PIF letter in next 30 days as...

per company policy. For any questions kindly contact our office.

Hi,
On receipt of the compliant, we have taken following steps to resolve the same:
1-The account was...

placed by our client for collections on 02/04/2016. Our attempts to contact consumer by phone on 02/19/2016, 03/04/2016, 03/22/2016, 04/04/2016 and 06/06/2016 failed and we could not establish any contact with the consumer.
2- Per consumer's desired resolution, we have placed a request for debt verification documents with our clients and ceased all collection activity on the accounts.
3- Per consumer's desired resolution, we have notified the credit bureaus electronically to delete this trade line from their records.  Harvard uses the credit bureaus Automated Universal Data form (AUD) to complete this activity.  The AUD number for these accounts are:
                Account# [redacted]20 AUD#[redacted]
  Account# [redacted]18    AUD#[redacted]
   Account# 2291**13 AUD# [redacted]
The AUD on all the accounts were submitted on 08/11/2016. However it may take some time for the credit bureaus to completely remove the accounts from consumer's credit report for the reasons beyond our control.

Thank You,
Harvard Collection Services.
