We have attached copies of the signed documents to this response The customer signed the documents on May 16, Our recovery department will be willing to work with the customer to make arrangements to fulfill the obligation Once paid in full, we will report to the credit bureaus as a paid in full account

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on September 6, for the customer to finance the documentation preparation fee charged by the dealer to work with the Department of Education to refinance or consolidate student loan debt The customer and dealer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance was not involved and clearly states the dealer was offering a service to help navigate the student loan debt bureaucracy Any contract the customer had to begin this process was with the dealer The dealer also completed a verification call with the customer which explained the transaction, and Equitable's role in the transaction, which the customer agreed to all information The dealer was able to get the customer into the best program for the customer's financial situation While it is a free service to do on your own, similar to hiring someone to do your taxes or cut your lawn, the customer hired the dealer to do the work for himThe customer contacted our office on November 30, regarding his account, and we referred him to the dealer since his questions were about the student loans, not his account with us We look forward to having the customer fulfilling his obligation to us

We are not sure what is being rejected We purchased a contract from the dealer who created the documents and sold their service to the customer The customer agreed to having them do the service that we are not involved with, and now the customer wants out of the contract As previously stated, we closed the account and the customer has no further obligation to us If the customer has an issue with the way the dealer sold their services, the complaint should be against them

I am rejecting this response becauseI am planning to pay the full amount owed to this companyI want it to be known that this company is taking advantage of people who have student loans I am going to pay the full balance off, but I expect full and continuing service from these people I think they should be upfront about the enormous interest rate of % Also this Ms [redacted] ** is very rude!!!

I am rejecting this response because:My student loans were not in a debt consolidationMy fed loans knows nothing about student advocate or any company trying to consolidate my loans

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on December 20, for the customer to finance the documentation preparation fee charged to work with the Department of Education to refinance or consolidate student loans The customer and dealer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance is not involved and clearly states the dealer offers a service of helping to navigate the student loan relief bureaucracyThe customer had set up for automatic payments beginning February 15, 2017, and both that payment and the next payment for March were returned by his bank The account was cancelled on March 27, The credit bureau should update in April when we electronically notify the credit bureau agency of the cancellation This trade line should then be removed from the customer's file

I am rejecting this response because: I didn’t enter an agreement with Equitable AcceptanceI have tried to contact [redacted] and they do not return my phone calls

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on October 12, to finance the document preparation fee the dealer charged to work with the Department of Education (DOE) to consolidate or refinance student loan debtThe customer and dealer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance (EAC) is not involved and clearly states the dealer offers a service of helping to navigate the student loan debt relief bureaucracy EAC did not contact this customer prior to purchasing the contract to discuss any program the customer may have qualified for, this was done by the dealer The dealer informed us on March 3, to cancel the contract, which we did that day The customer has no further obligation to EAC, but may still owe money to the dealer

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on May 25, for the customer to finance the documentation preparation fee charged by the dealer to work with the Department of Education to refinance or consolidate student loan debt The customer and dealer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance was not involved and clearly states the dealer was offering a service to navigate the student loan relief bureaucracy The customer did not contract Equitable Acceptance to begin the process The dealer gathers information from the customer to determine which program will work in the best interest of the customer The money paid to us was applied to the account for the fee, not to the student loans Prior to purchasing the contract we completed a verification call which explained the procedure The customer called our office with questions regarding this account on December 19, 2017, and the representative attempted to explain this information but the customer ended the call before completing the explanation We will not be cancelling this account at this time We look forward to having the customer fulfilling her obligation to us

We purchased a contract from [redacted] , dealer, on June 15, The contract is for the fee the dealer charges the customer to provide a service to the cuatomer The service is to work with the outstanding student loans the customer has, and refinance them to a lower monthly payment or less term Any issue with the student loans would have to be addressed with the dealer This account is set up for automatic payments from the customer's credit card which was given to the dealer when the account was set up We look forward to the customer fulfilling the obligation they have with is per the terms of the signed Purchase Agreement and Revolving Credit Application they signed

We agree that this account has not been over days late as reported to the credit bureaus We would be like to see where the customer is showing the over day late history We have accessed our trade line with the Trans Union credit bureau and it does not show as being reported that way The issue seems to be with the payment that was due on February 25, When we attempted to charge the credit card we had on file to pay the payments, the credit card company told us the card was expired, and no payment was made The customer paid the payment via our website on March 21, The customer set up the account to have automatic payments again using her checking account beginning with the March payment, but that was returned to us as NSF for being an incorrect account numberThe reason the account is now owing $is for the NSF fee and a late fee from the March payment As soon as this is paid the account will show as current again We have agreed to waive the outstanding late fee by reducing her balance once the account is current We have listened to the recorded calls and determined the account specialist and supervisor did in fact handle this account in a professional matter

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on November 24, for the customer to finance the documentation preparation fee the dealer charged to work with the Department of Education to refinance or consolidate student loans The customer and dealer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance was not involved, and clearly states the dealer was offering a service to help navigate the student loan debt relief bureaucracy We never claimed we would lower student loans, that would have been the dealer We have a recorded verification call done with the customer which explained the transaction, and states the customer agreed to the loan The customer needs to contact the dealer at ###-###-#### to find out the status of the this transaction, and get clarification on what the dealer did and will do for them We appreciate the customer has paid all payments to date, and will continue to fulfilling their obligation to us We will not be cancelling this account or refunding any money

Attached is the response we had to a Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) complaint done by this customer We have closed this account, and the customer has no further obligation to us We find the accusations by this customer as defamatory and unfounded

We purchased a contract from Greater Regional Technologies (dealer) to purchase a Hyla Cleaning System on May 20, The customer made the payments from September, until December, With no payments after this time, the account was charged off to bad debt in April, The customer reached out to us in November, 2014, and again from December, to February, to try to resolve this We have not heard from the customer since that time We are reporting this account correctly as a negative account (charged to bad debt) on the credit bureaus If the customer would like to clear this up, they can contact our Recovery Department and they will work with him

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on January 12, for the customer to purchase a product from the dealerThe contract was dated January 4, and the cancel period to cancel with the dealer was January 9, The dealer did not get notification from the customer to cancel the contract prior to that date The fact that the first signer has passed away, while sad, does not release any responsibility the second signers has to fulfill this obligation While returning the product is an option, this will not release the responsibility either This customer needs to work with our collection department to get this obligation taken care of They could have options to help the customer with this process We look forward to working with the customer so we do not have to negatively report this to the credit bureaus

I am rejecting this response because: I feel like I was misinformed and taken advantage of throughout this entire processI entered into an agreement with Equitable AcceptanceI didn't know anything about [redacted] until December after I paid almost $on student loans that I felt confident were being handled appropriatelyIf I need to file a complaint against [redacted] I will because the facts still remain the sameI feel as though my student loans were grossly mismanagedI don't recall any communication with any representative from [redacted] until the day I realized something was wrong with my student loansThat's when I received a email stating I needed to sign a contract which I refused because I had to start repaying by student loans back through the former agencyI'm still requesting the contract I had with Equitable Acceptance voidedI wasn't informed that I entered into an agreement with [redacted] ***I'm requesting my account closed and any negative reporting to the credit bureau be deletedThank you

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on May 11, for the customer to finance the documentation preparation fee the dealer charged to work with the Department of Education to refinance or consolidate student loan debt The dealer and customer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance was not involved and clearly states the dealer was offering a service to help navigate the student loan relief bureaucracy We cannot cancel this transaction as requested If the customer has an issue with the status of the student loans, she must address them with the dealer Per the terms of the original agreement, the dealer offered to re-enroll the customer on the best program for their situation for three years after the initial consolidation We look forward to having the customer fulfilling their obligation to us

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI do have a question and I'm not sure if I should be asking Revdex.com or Equitable Acceptance since Equitable Acceptance stated that I am NOT obligated to any more payments to their third party company how does this affect my credit score? Will it show as resolved or a delinquent payment?

We purchased a contract from Pure Air Systems (dealer) on January 28, for this customer to purchase a Hyla Cleaning System The dealer made a large payment on the account in April, leaving a balance on this account to be paid by the customer Also, on April 5, we purchased a second contract from the same dealer to purchase a second Hyla Cleaning System The customer has made payments on the first account which now has a small balance The second account with a first payment date of July 15, has received no payments Our collection staff is attempting to collect on the second accountAny money received has been applied to the first account via payments made on our website On September we had a conversation with the buyer and he thought payments were being paid on the second account, but we explained to him that only the first account had payments received He indicated to us he would go to our website and make payments to bring the account current As of today, no payments have been received We have left several messages for the customers to call back to rectify this negative situation We will have a manager reach out to contact this customer to discuss both accounts

We purchased a contract from [redacted] (dealer) on October 26, for the customer to finance the documentation preparation fee the dealer charged to work with the Department of Education to refinance or consolidate student loan debt The customer and dealer entered into a written agreement, which Equitable Acceptance was not involved and clearly stated the dealer was offering a service to help navigate the student loan debt relief bureaucracy The program the dealer put the customer into was the Income Driven Repayment Plan which had an estimated new monthly payment of $based on income and amount of loans outstanding This is a substantial savings over what the payment would have been without the help of the dealer's help in selecting the best program available for the customer Included in the charge from the dealer is their services for two additional reenrollments and monitoring We also have a recorded verification call done with the customer which explained the transaction and Equitable Acceptance's role We look forward to having the customer fulfilling her obligation to us
