Everydry rep came to our house in March, we signed a contract to have our basement waterproofed and beams put in to stabilize the foundation. We were given a GUARANTEED installation date of July 8,2019. On July 8th I stayed home from work and waited for them to come out, but they never showed up, I called and was told I would receive a call back. Finally around 11am I was told that they would not be coming out to do the work. A week before they were to come out they told us to move our A/C unit, which we unhooked and moved. 2 weeks later we had the hottest summer on record, and no AC causing both myself and my daughter to have swelling in our legs. In the last month and a half, my husband has called them 11 times, they never called us once, Each time he calls he is told a different story. First it was the engineers fault, then they were waiting on permits. (we went to the town and we were told no permits had been filed for our address). Then it was the engineer again, and missing blueprints. Our last conversation it was something about beams. Beams? We had not heard anything about this before. We told them we want a definitive answer by Friday 8/16 or we will contact Revdex.com. My husband was told not to call back on 8/16 as they would not have an answer for us.

Everdry Waterproofing of Upstate NY Response • Sep 13, 2019

We spoke to Mr. and Mrs. and have come to a resolution. Grand Island required us to hire an engineer to put beams in the ***’s home. This has not been the normal for us and we typically have not had to involve an engineer when installing beams. Not only did we have to hire and pay for an engineer we had to have blueprint drawings made specific to the ***’s home. We were told by the engineer multiple times that the drawings would be submitted to the town and we would be able to start work. After many attempts to pull the permit for the work the town told us that no drawings had been turned in. We tracked down the engineer only to find out not only did he not submit the drawings to the town he never even had them made for us. Everdry was ready to begin work but without the drawings we were unable to obtain a permit.Everdry takes responsibility for the engineer not doing his part however without these drawings we could not move forward. We have spoken to the ***’s and have come to a resolution. We take this very seriously and we view this as a learning opportunity to get better as a company.

There were some issues and it took longer than anticipated, but it looks good and is dry.

The crew that came out to the house were every courteous and respectful of our home and family. The foreman did a great job explaining the work to be performed before starting and kept us up to date on the progress as work was done. Before starting the job, they covered our floors and all our belongings in the basement to protect them from the dust that would be generated. The outside work was completed in about a day and a half and you could not tell where they had dug when finished. When the job was complete, they cleaned up and you could not tell they had been there. The foreman went over all the paperwork and explained the warranty when finished and said they would be scheduled to come back and touch up areas they could not get at (due to our belongings covering the area and due to the weather - it was raining). I would highly recommend Everdry Waterproofing to take care of any water problems you may have in your basement.

Our foundation was cracked in several places. Every time it rained, water would come in from one corner and was getting worse. The Everdry guys came in and fixed all the cracks and cleaned all the mildew/mold that was on the walls. They also installed a new drain in the floor all along the inside wall as well as a new sump pump with battery back up. They also installed a drain on the outside of the wall. Both drains go to separate dry wells. The crew worked hard every day and did a great job. No more water on the floor!!

Sending sales people to a town where they know permits are required to "peddle" door to door without getting a permit. Several people in the area have complained and the town has contacted *** on multiple occasions informing them they need permits and informed them to stop going door to door. When I asked the sales person that came to my door about a permit, I was told it I had been left in the car. They did not do anything to prove they actually had a valid permit. When I called the town it was confirmed that *** did not have any permits to go door to door.

We purchased our home a few years ago that already had an Everdry system in place. When an alarm sounded on one of our battery backup units, Everdry was a phone call away and the response time was pretty awesome too. It was nice that they give you an hour window of when they will arrive rather then a morning or afternoon window.
We haven't had any water issues in the basement for the few years we have been in the home so I would say that Everdry is worth every penny.

Everdry was a great company to work with on our basement waterproofing project. It was a major project and they were very responsive to any questions we had along the way. The work crew was prompt on arrival times, respectful, hard working, and explained anything that I had for questions during the work. They left the inside very clean and worked outside during some of the coldest days this winter. Good work.

This business was contacted several years ago for a service that I was interested in at the time. After the consultation I informed them that I was no longer interested and wished to be removed from their contact list. I was informed that they would not call again. They are still contacting me yearly with the most recent call being today. I do not wish to be harassed by this business anymore as I have zero interest in their services.

We appreciate the feedback so we can train and educate our staff so that this doesn't happen in the future. Your information has been removed from our calling lists. I hired everdry to "waterproof" my basement for what was only damp before they got in there. They got the work completed around the times they had stated but left the property a mess even after I had asked sylvester the foreman to have his guys clean ot up (tar and mud on siding, crushed gutter downspout, rocks all through out lawn and crushed our flowers and l.e.d lights) I had to rake up lawn to mow, they finally came back around a month later to clean up the siding and replace downspout. I had to call them back again, mind you its been SEVERAL times at this point.. They came back to attempt to fix the "dry well" that had water backing up in my basement window by digging up my lawn again and moving it (so I now have two giant torn up spots out front and the newest one looks like a fountain and I cant mow near it or the mower will get stuck in mud). When they came to do this second attempt at something they got pvc primer all over the siding, left tools in yard and left the dirt below level. Called them back again to clean up the mess. Foreman Gerry returned some time after to clean up and "to ensure we were 100 percent happy" which of course we are far from. The man dealing with this final clean up was supposed to have had a check sent out for damages to our flowers and lights, which of course we never received. This service we paid such a large amount for included a sub pump system as a BACK UP if anything were to happen. If the sub pump gets unplugged the basement will flood in short order now. Before everdry touched my house the floor got damp with maybe an 1/8th inch of standing water in some low spots. The work they did in the basement was supposed to include a sealant behind the membrane (i have documented pictures for my attorney of the wall behind the membrane w/o sealant) they did not do this or even come back to attempt it. This service was to include filling of cracks in the stone foundation and the concrete slab (there was only a few cracks filled and the rest that were not filled leak water). The foundation outside was supposed to get what is called a "j" channel (what our foundation got was a little tar to hold a plastic sheet straight down the foundation- channeling water right back in).

EverDry Waterproofing is sorry to hear of your frustrations. After looking into the situation, it looks like we were notified about a problem and we scheduled a visit to look at the dampness in the basement. Walter, our production manager was out to do an inspection on 10/16/2018. What he gathered from the assessment of the situation was that there was a bucket set under a leaking pipe, and that the condensation pipe was leaking on the floor, along with the sewer line being open with dirt inside of it. These issues would allow dampness to occur, but EverDry Waterproofing has no control over household pipes that may be allowing water into the basement. At the time of the walk-through Walter found no evidence of any water seeping through the foundation from the outside. Our records indicate, with Walters encouragement, that during the next heavy rain, we are contacted to have us reevaluate if any issues with our work are occurring. Unfortunately, we never heard back to revisit the issue. If you are still experiencing water issues, our service agreement does not guarantee you will never have water in your basement again, though It provides you an opportunity to have service visits with free labor and free materials to correct any issues that may arise. Understanding your situation and frustrations, please believe that at no point will EverDry Waterproofing leave a customer unsatisfied. If you are experiencing water or dampness, we encourage you to reach out to our production department and we will work to rectify any issues until you are 100% satisfied. They can be reached at 1.800.733.5360.

Everdry took care of my issues with water entering my basement. They did a professional job and have helped keep my home safe.

Everdry did a great job of talking us through our basement water issues and describing how their solution would fix our issues. The work was performed last summer and we have not have any water issues which makes me sleep easier at night, especially after it rains.

Interior drain system not working in basement. The basement still floods after rain or snow melt. Ground water is not going to sump. Drain pipes are not taking water away. Everdry is not returning calls. Several attempts at "modifications" have not worked.

To whom it may concern:

*** and *** sign a contract with Everdry Waterproofing of Upstate New York on July 27, 2017. (please see attached A) We completed said contract on November 3, 2017. (please see attached completion certificate B) We have been out to service the work that was done on December 13, 2017, January 23, 2018 and again March 12, 2018. At this time all work was satisfied to our knowledge. (please see attached Service sheet C)

On June 13, 2018 @ 10:49AM, the *** reached out again saying they had water on the bottom of the wall, left side. Seeing actual puddles by the sink. Our Service Manager went out to the home on June 15, 2018. He found that the water was coming from a water line from the washing machine. He tightens the hose and said if it continues to get water here he would need to contact a plumber because this is not in our scope of work. (***)

We sent homeowner his annual service agreement on November 1, 2018. (please see attached invoice E) In order for Everdry to continue to service Mr. and Mrs. they would need to pay $75.00 plus applicable taxes by November 30, 2018. When Everdry did not receive such payment, we reached out to the homeowner to give them a friendly reminder. The homeowner told us he was not interested in renewing his agreement.

Mr. is now contacting the office demanding service to be done. We explained that Everdry would be willing to look at the issue and offered to let him pay the past due amount of $75 + tax or he could not renew and pay and inspection fee and parts and labor. Mr *** hung up on us and will not take our calls.

Everdry is still willing to come look at his home. We are asking for him to pay his back owed renewal or a trip fee with parts and labor. The Service renewal we offer is free for the first year and then it states clear on the contract that each additional year needs to be paid by the anniversary date of work completed. (please see service renewal section of contract F)
