Explained to the Ever Dry Rep that sump pump going on constantly, told rep 2x's water probably was coming in from hydrant line or main feed into house. 9/18/18 manager Jimmy came to home. We asked for 1/2 of our money $7300.00 be returned since Ever Dry did not fix the problem. (See attached letter from Wayne County) Jimmy told us Jessica probably will not go for returning any money to us. He would check with her and call us back within 245 hours. Today 9/26/18, we still have not heard back from Ever Dry.

Mr. had Everdry Inspect his home on March 13, 2018. His complaint was water entering the basement from a variety of places. He told the inspector he thought that there was water coming from a water main leak. The inspector told him that it could be possible but with his experience the problem was bigger than a water main leak. We have provided additional pictures to show that there was water from a variety of places and other issues than just the wall where the water line comes in. During the evaluation we found water entering form the basement floor as well as water coming from multiple walls in the basement. Mr *** had hired a contractor in the past and had cracks sealed and the walls painted with waterproofing paint. Water typically comes from either surface water in the form of rain or a build up of rain water in the ground causing hydrpostatic pressure. The signs of both of these problems as shown in the pictures provided had been an ongoing problem for Mr.. Mr. decided to move forward with the work and Everdry completed services for him on May 25, 2018. As stated in the report from Wayne county water authority they ran a vacuum test and found no evidence of a water leak in his line. During installation Everdry found no continuous water source during excavation on the inside or outside of the home. Mr. scheduled service on August 6, 2018 because the pump was running more than normal and at this time the basement was dry. Everdry was invited back to see that the they had found a slight leak in the fire hydrant which is located at the street. He told us that we did not fix his problem. After a new inspection of the basement we found that his areas that had been previously wet had been completely resolved and that his new complaint was the sump pump was running all the time. We have resolved his issue and the fire hydrant was being replaced while we were at his home. His basement was completely dry when we arrived. We have no control of where the water was coming from we were hired to make the basement dry and we did. The fire hydrant leak was undetected by the water authority and Everdry cannot be held responsible for this undetected leak. We provided services at a cost that the homeowner agreed to with nothing in writing that we would fix existing water lines or a fire hydrant leak. We are not willing to refund any money to Mr. because we fulfilled are end of the agreement he had with us to waterproof his basement.

My basement was not wet, the work didn’t need to be done. The problem was a leaking water main out front of home. I told the salesman twice that is where the water could be coming from. I feel that they have ripped me off.

We recently had foundation work completed on my mother's home in Williamsville, NY. Our experience with Everdry was extremely positive from the moment we contacted them for an estimate of the work to be done. First, they arrive when they say they will be there. I have to say I have never seen a group of workers work as hard as they do. It was, in my view, backbreaking work. They took very few breaks, and those were of short duration. Despite the difficulty of the work, I heard no complaining. We were kept informed every step of the way with each day ending with a review of that day's work and what would be accomplished the following day. They kept to the proposed schedule and were finished according to plan. Each day and then after completion of the job, we were surveyed regarding our satisfaction with the work. This is truly a customer service oriented company.

I highly recommend Everdry Waterproofing. They did a great job waterproofing the basement of my home and fixing the wall and floor cracks. Everyone involved in this project was professional, hard working and honest. The inspector who came out initially did a thorough job explaining the scope of the work needed and the options available. There were no hard sell tactics involve. The crew who completed the work (on some of the hottest days in May) were respectful and hard working. They took great care to not damage the plants and bushes around my home (even dug up a small plant and replanted it when the job was done). I felt very comfortable leaving them in my home to complete the work each day while I was at work. The foreman took the time to explain what the daily work plan was and he kept me informed of any changes/issues that arose. The crew cleaned up after themselves and made sure my home was carefully locked up when they left each day. Several weeks after the job was complete, a representative came out to do a final inspection and to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work. Everyone I dealt with at Everdry was professional and totally invested in making sure I understood exactly what was planned, what was done and ensuring that I was satisfied each step of the way. The fact that they offer a transferable lifetime warranty for their work sealed the deal for me. Our inspector/sales rep, Frank, who came to complete a follow-up visit to my home, did a thorough, lengthy inspection of my entire basement and gave us an opportunity to walk through our foundation evaluation while he pointed out items of concern. He was very knowledgeable regarding the multiple options Everdry Waterproofing could offer us, explained everything in detail and patiently answered the multitude of questions we asked. He spent a considerable amount of time taking measurements, explaining the necessary repairs, contract and warranties.
When the foreman and his crew arrived to do the work, they were on time, very courteous, professional and efficient. The foreman explained in detail what they would be doing before getting started. Although our basement is unfinished, they covered all items in plastic to minimize dust exposure. I observed them in various stages of their work and it was done as promised. Their finished concrete work was good and they swept up the basement and left no debris for me to dispose of. The crew seemed to work quickly and efficiently, and remained completely on-task throughout the entire process.

Our whole experience with Everdry was ideal. Steve S and Mark G were the two inspectors who came to our house for the free basement estimate. We got a comprehensive review of the state of our basement. The inspectors recommended the Multi-Step pressure relief system to treat the outside and inside of our basement. One of the inspectors showed us a map that identified all of the people who had used Everdry in the past, and there were three in our neighborhood! I called one of them, and was reassured that this company did great work.
After signing the contract, we had the E-Z Breathe system installed within a week and we were given a date for the work to begin. The job started on time, as promised, as they crew finished earlier than expected. Richard, the foreman, explained everything to us, every step of the way. He took pictures so we could see the progress while we were at work. His crew (Matt, T, Keefa, Ivan, and one more I'm missing!) were incredibly respectful to my family. I ask a lot of questions, and everybody on the team was able to answer them.
The only downside to this whole process was the dust and dirt that covered everything in our house! The crew covered the whole floor with heavy duty plastic so they didn't track mud through the house, but there is just no way to prevent dust particles from settling on every surface. I wish somebody had explained how much of a mess the project was going to be so that we could have better prepared for that (if you are having work done and can block off access to the rest of your house with a tarp, you should do it!).
Steve and Mark explained the results of the free inspection in simple terms. I did not feel like they were trying to push a product on us; I felt like they gave us an honest appraisal. They were the reasons we chose to contract Everdry. However, it is because of Richard and his crew that we will recommend Everdry to our friends. The work they did was fantastic, and now we will finally be able to finish the basement and add another safe, mold-free place for our kids to play!

I have had water problems in my basement for over 20 years. In 2015 everdry waterproofing came to my house and gave me an estimate. They completely waterproofed my basement in 2015. I was extremely pleased with the work that they did. Flash forward to May 23rd, 2018. After 2 1/2 years I had my first problem. My sump pump would not turn off. I called ever dry at 9 AM that morning. By 2 PM that afternoon my sump pump was repaired by a very professional, courteous and talented technician named Josh. I might add, I live an hour away from their location. Not only did he quickly find, diagnose and fix the problem but he answered the few questions I had about my system in terms that I could understand. I would heartily recommend Everdry waterproofing located in Rochester New York if you have a water problem. They are the best. Five stars!!

The crew was very clean, polite and hardworking. They showed up every morning on time and got right to work. They cleaned up after themselves everyday before they left and when I got home from work you wouldn't even know the basement was torn apart. The foreman kept me informed throughout the day while I was at work which was great since I couldn't be home. The crew did a great job and now we have a dry basement which we can enjoy.

There is no question that your experience was less than par and did not meet our customer standards. After the complaint was filed several attempts to reach Ms. [redacted] were made to discuss the situation. After speaking with Ms. [redacted] the Operations Manager came out to her home on Saturday May 28th to inspect the issue and come up with a plan to get the situation rectified. The Operations Manager and Ms. [redacted] went over what was going to be done on the day of the work, which would be done on a weekend so that no time needs to be taken off from work and Ms. [redacted] can be there to observe the work being performed. June 2, 2016To whom it may concern,In response to complaint number [redacted], Everdry Waterproofing of Upstate New York installed the initial waterproofing job in June of 2012. The work was originally done for Mr. & Mrs. [redacted].Mrs. [redacted] called in to us to say that the discharge line in the yard...

was puddling. The supervisor went out and explained to Mrs. [redacted] that our contract (please see attached) is to divert the water away from the walls and the floor of the foundation, we do not do yard drainage. Everdry cannot tell how much water will continue to drain from the basement due to weather and the water table.Mrs. [redacted] was selling her property and wanted to get the issue resolved. She contacted an outside company to come in and move the discharge line. She called in to let us know that the outside company she used made the connection to our line and moved her discharge line out past her fence. She informed us that where the connection was made to our old discharge had begun to leak. Again, we explained to Mrs. [redacted] that the outside company that she hired was responsible for the connection. Mrs. [redacted] then sold her property to [redacted]. When the transfer process was complete supervisors came out to her home to explain to her our system. We also explained that the new company back pitched the end of the discharge line and that Everdry was not responsible for the water in the yard. However, we wanted to build a good relationship and as a courtesy to the new homeowners we were willing to help out and try to come up with a solution. The solution that came up involved tying into the storm drain in the front of the house due to the water pooling in the yard which is not part of our contract. We got in touch with the town and had them come out to see if it would be a possibility to tie into the storm drain. Once we got the OK from the town, the next step was to speak with the neighbors because we would have to dig into the neighboring property in order to tie into the storm. On April 27th we spoke with Ms. [redacted] who informed us that she did not know the neighbors and that she was going to get us the neighbors address so we could send out a letter to get in touch with them. We could not proceed without the neighbor’s permission.  Ms. [redacted] and the General Manager played phone tag for about a week. Then on May 13th the General Manager spoke with Ms. [redacted] and got the address to the neighbor that we needed to get in touch with. A letter was then sent out to the homeowner on May 17th (please see attached postage log) explaining the situation and asking them to please contact us so that we could discuss the situation. Ms. [redacted] called back on May 17th asking the status of the situation and at that time she was informed that a letter had been sent to the neighbor and that we were waiting to hear from them before we could move forward. As of today, June 2nd, 2016, we still have not heard from the neighbors.Everdry Waterproofing understands and appreciates the frustration that Ms. [redacted] is having. We are trying to get the issue resolved even though the problem was not caused from our work. Without speaking to the neighbors we cannot move forward with the plan to tie into the storm because we would need their permission to dig on their property. Ms. [redacted] could have spoken to the neighbors directly and explained the situation and gotten permission herself, or had the neighbors contact us to move forward. At this time our hands are tied. Everdry was willing to help out with the current situation, even though this work is outside the realm of our contract. Due to Ms. [redacted]’s concerns and urgency to get the work done Everdry feels it would be in her best interest to contact another company to tie into the storm drain due to a possible shorter wait time. Lockport, NY- This may be a bit long, but I hope it’s helpful to someone. Let me start by saying that if you have to have a problem with major work going on in your home, it should be handled the way Everdry handled it.
We signed a contract with Everdry to waterproof our perpetually damp basement, so that we would have the extra storage space, as we have a very small home. We were very excited about the prospect and could not wait for the work to begin.
When it started, however, we were confused by what was being done, as what we saw did not seem at all what the salesman had sold us, and was most certainly not worth the price we agreed to pay; and on the third day, we made a call to Everdry.
I was able to speak with the owner, Jessica, and she and her production manager Walter, were there within 2 hours. They inspected the work, and agreed that it was not to their standards, and we came to the agreement that they would halt the work, until she could get her best team out to our home. There were some winter weather issues, and it took until the middle of the following week to get back out to us (which we completely understood, we wouldn’t ask anyone to risk their lives in nasty weather) and due to some issues with the solid bedrock upon which our home rests, the job took 3 weeks overall to complete. We had paid to board our dogs during that first week, and Everdry agreed to pay for the additional boarding for the days they had to use a jackhammer. Our dogs are our babies, and that they understood our concern for them (both are hounds with very sensitive ears) and were willing to accommodate them was excellent customer service, in our opinion.
We had constant communication from Walter, the production manager as to what was being done, and when, and the finished job looks great. The basement has stayed dry, despite all of the wet, rainy weather recently. Overall, we are very pleased with the finished job, and with Everdry’s customer service, despite the way things started. I would definitely recommend Everdry to friends and family members in need of basement waterproofing.

Everdry has obtained a copy of a credit report in an effort to make sure that the person paying for waterproofing does not have a history of not paying for goods or services. We have attached a copy of the form that was signed by [redacted] allowing Everdry to obtain a credit report. We...

do not have the ability to judge or to discriminate anyone offering to pay cash for the work. This form allows Everdry the right to obtain a credit report on any cash order to insure available funds or funding will be available at the time of completion of work. We have cancelled the order and have returned any funds that have been given to us at this time. Unfortunately we had obtained a credit report prior to the cancellation of the contract and we will not be able to remove the inquiry from any credit reports. This form was signed and dated 8-12-17 the cancellation was notified to us on 8-15-17.

This was a project that started in 2012. It should not have taken 4 years to be resolved. There have been 15 visits to my home since 2012, only 2 that have included Saturdays (which still required me to make schedule adjustments). Many of those visits have required significant repair.
I met with Jason on 2/26/16 and work was scheduled for 3/26/16. I was under the impression that Jason was supposed to be either completing the work or present while the work was being done. Not only was he not there, but his workers had to call him because they were not even sure what they were supposed to have done (left side of the EZBreathe or right side). Jason had told me left side, but the right side was completed.
As you stated, the Operations Manager and General Manager did come to my home on 3/30/16 (after a complaint of the 3/29/16 work-pictures were sent) and they "promised" this issue would be resolved. I did not sign any paperwork of satisfation for the work on 4/9/16. And as stated in my 4/25/16 complaint, I was told Walter would contact me within 1-2 business days (of 4/9/16) and receive a call from Jessica to follow up. Neither of those happened. In fact, Walter admitted to me that he "forgot" about the top caps. This is just unacceptable from someone who was trying to make this already complicated situation better.
At this time, I am satisfied with the work that was completed on 5/21/16. I decline the waive of the service agreement fee for 5 years as I no longer wish to utilize Everdry. If any further repairs are needed, I will contact another company. I still feel strongly that the remainder of the loan should be paid based on all of the poor customer service and poor quality of work over the past 4 years. Even though some of those employees are no longer working for the company, there is no excuse for how I have been treated since the beginning.
I will not change my position on this, nor will I change my review left on your website (as that seemed to be the primary concern (of Jessica and Walter) the past few months).
