Our records reflect that on August 27, 2017, Mr*** booked two itineraries on our websiteThe bookings included travel insuranceWe understand from Mr*** that he canceled both itineraries on August 28, 2017, but has not been refunded for the insurance on them
We have reviewed your account and located the bookings in questionWe confirmed that both itineraries have been voided and the refunds for the airfare are pending from Delta Airlines and China AirlinesWe have also confirmed that refunds for travel insurance have also been processed for bothRefunds like this usually take between 3-business days to post

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because Expedia acknowledged during the call they could helpThat is why we were on the line for one hour and minutesIf your following were cut and dry and never had exceptions, then why did you keep us on the line for so long? Why were we working with you to actively search later flights that day or next day only to be conveniently disconnected? It is not logicalAdditionally, any reputable company understands there are extenuating circumstances to any policyWe called and notified you well before our flight departure time which is why you were trying to help usYour customer service rep was on the line with JetBlue trying to change the flight, which would have only been subject to a change flight feeRather, we were forced to buy new tickets for later that day with a different airline. I am rejecting this response because:I will also state that I signed up to become a a prime member of ExpediaWhen I canceled the reservation I received no cancellation numberAlso my login even as of today does not workIn addition when what doesn't make sense is that Expedia knows when I canceled the reservation because when I called a few days after the voice message said that it was canceled and I would receive my refund soonWhen I called and spoke to the representative she also refused to give me a cancellation # as well.

Our records reflect that on December 17, 2015, Mr*** booked a Thrifty Car Rental for a trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico from December 31, 2015, through January 8, We have confirmed the reservation was purchased by the customer or an authorized user on the account, on Expedia’s website, without the assistance of an Expedia representativeMr*** also purchased insurance at a cost of $which was paid to Expedia at the time of bookingThe taxes and fees for the car rental were estimated at $The terms agreed to at the time of booking were as follows;

I am rejecting this response because: The response by Expedia is completely unacceptable Regardless if I proceeded making the reservation or not, this is a matter of advertisement and not making right on the pricing adjustment! At no time did I want to cancel my resevation, but rather receive the difference back from with the advertise price was! When I checked out my reservation the base price for the hotel was different than what was advertised on the screen before it- I noticed this after I placed the order and went back to take a screenshot at the request of a customer service rep located in India! They told me I would need to wait days for the adjustment which I found completely unacceptable and am therefore requesting that this adjustment be made made sooner This was simply bait and switch Yes I still check it out but just because I didn't notice that the price was higher than what was advertised doesn't make it my fault ! I have attached proof stating that the hotels base price was $ Expedia now needs to do the ethical- right thing and refund me the trivial difference

Our records reflect on January 3, Ms*** accessed Expedia.com and self-booked itinerary #*** for flights for two departing from Fort Lauderdale, FL on February 16, to Cancun, Mexico, returning February 19, and a stay at GR Solaris Cancun & Spa - All Inclusive for corresponding dates.
Expedia makes every effort to ensure that our customers have a clear understanding of their selections and of the terms and conditions associated with the travel items they are purchasingWe provide selection details, including the vendors terms and conditions, on several pages for your review, including the final payment screen
The hotel Ms*** booked was refundable until February 6, 2017, per the vendor’s stated termsAt the customer’s request, on February 1, Expedia processed the cancellation and refund for the hotel portion of the itinerary.
The flights booked through Jet Blue Airlines provided the following terms during booking:
* Tickets are nonrefundable, nontransferable and name changes are not allowed
Expedia.com serves as a third party agency for travel providers such as hotels, car rental agencies, and airlines and does not own or operate any travel services; as such we must abide by and enforce the terms and conditions set forth by the vendors who utilize our booking services
Jet Blue Airlines is the merchant of record for the flight portion of this itinerary, which means they are the billing party and any refund for air reservations would need to come through them. On February 1, Expedia contacted Jet Blue to advocate on behalf of the customer however, due to the rules and restrictions Ms*** agreed to at the time of booking, Jet Blue advised they will not offer a refund for the itinerary.

Complaint: ***It's unfortunate Expedia will not make an exception to an unusual situation. Like I said before, the casino was more than willing to refund the hotel cost but since it was booked via Expedia, the casino said Expedia would have to provide the refund.
