On April 11, 2016, Virus Eraser responded to my customer review that I submitted on April via the Revdex.com siteIn the response to my complaint, it was clearly stated that I would receive a full refund of my money however, as of today I have not been refunded the $that was charged to my credit card on April 10,
Virus Eraser locked up my computer and had me call them so they could enter my computer remotely to shut off the beeping and warningThey told me their location was Baltimore FLThe man I spoke with did not speak English well and was I believe calling from India
My huge concern is this company being able to hack into my computer, freeze it and then make me avail myself to them to get my computer working again while they tried to sell me their security program
THIS IS A HUGE SECURITY CONCERN ON MY PART SINCE MY COMPUTER HAS BANKING INFORMATION ETC FROM OUR BUSINESS ON IT
My computer froze up and a warning came on that my computer was infectedIt gave a number to callI thought I was speaking to MicrosoftAfter giving them permission to fix the issue they went into my computer and told me I had several virus and it would cost $to fix itLike a fool, I paid itThey said to pay by check and scan it to themI didThe next day I called the bank to stop payment It was too lateI called the scammers back and demanded my money backAfter much arguing, they agreedI spoke with three different men*** ***, *** *** *** *** *** **ld me it would take fifteen to twenty business days for the refund A month went by and I never received itI spoke with the manager today and now he says they can only give me $because they put in software and they would have to mail me a checkI argued again with him and he told me take it or leave it

Essentially a pon my computer insisted I call a toll free number to protect my computerI couldn't get the pto go awayWhen I called I was told the company was Elision LLC and the website was elisionllc.comThey didn't answer my questions about why I needed to purchase their product, what the break-down of the $charge was, and said that my antivirus was insufficient to protect my computerAfter agreeing to the purchase I tried to look them upI called back and asked the name of the companyThis time they said Virus EraserAfter looking up the cost of the antivirus they installed I found it was only $I am waiting for a refund from Virus EraserI had to call twice and argue strongly about the refundHopefully it will be settled in 5-business daysThey basically make it seem urgent that you spend $when their popup was unsollicitedThe product they provide is much cheaper elsewhereTricksters

I was scammed with a pop up on my computer stating that I had a virus on my computer and to call the number listed I called and paid $to have my computer analyzed and repaired by one of the VMak reps via remote login on my computer Since then, I have not had a computer that has functioned properly Multiple times my computer has crashed, and become infected, when I do not even access anything that would infect it Each time, I would speak to a *** *** *** to repair it BUT each time my computer would be accidentally wiped of all the data, and PERSONAL ITEMS, such as the pictures of my deceased daughter!!! I was told this would not be able to be brought back and repaired Today, my call to the customer service for help led me to NOTHING HELPFUL! Overall, it became an argument about whether or not I wanted to have my computer reset and have a tech login to reset it or not! OF COURSE I DO NOT want you to log in and delete anything else personal I have AGAIN
