I was scammed by Virus Eraser to buy their servicesA full screen WARNING with beeping noises appeared on my computer saying to NOT close down your computer ~ DO NOT go off this screen and call this number immediately ~ You've been hacked!! I called and they led me to believe that I had multiple problems with people trying to get into my personal businessThey told me *** the virus protection I had was not good enough to handle what I use the computer forI needed to have them go into my computer to clean it up and install Virus Eraser immediatelyI was scared and let them take over my cercerThey supposedly took care of the problems and took *** out and put their Virus protection inThey then charged me $for lifetime protectionThis happened on 4/29/After talking to a friend who knows about computers and telling him what happened he told me I was scammed*** is just fineThey took advantage of meI called Virus Eraser on 4/30/and told them I wanted to
I purchased a lifetime plan from Virus Eraser and I started having issues with my laptopThey called me stating that I had a Mal-ware on my laptop and stated I need to upgrade to another planThey wanted to install that and I wouldn't have itAfter my call with them, I was unable to log on to my laptop and the hard drive was corruptedI had to take it to *** *** and get a new hard drive installed and made *** *** Then yesterday March 22, 2018, a representative calls to take their program off of my laptop which I already had removed from *** ***The representative then tried to enroll me in a reimbursement and couldn't complete the form so he left me online and said a manager would call me backNo one calls me back and I emailed them this morning and still didn't get a call
On April 21,my computer flashed with a big blue screen informing me that my computer has a virus and to call the number for Virus Eraser I called and they helped me clean the virus and sold me an expensive security planThe total came to $I called them the next week to inform them that I don't need the security plan and they promised to refund me within days I waited days and I kept calling and I got one excuse after another First it was a technical difficulty, then apparently I was told it wasn't virus eraser who helped me it was a partner company called ***
To make a long story short,after many phone calls, we are now June 4, and I still have not recieved a refund
